WASD moves
Protip: As you might have noticed, making the player's hitbox be exactly the same height as the blocks makes it difficult to get through narrow passages. Great first attempt otherwise.

I'm sorry i could not develop the idea further in the alloted time
Nice combination of puzzle elements. I think that, since the player's movement is relatively slow, you could go with repeated-movement-on-key-down.
excellent. Suggestions:
- More checkpoints.
- Make candle light more visible.
- Reduce vertical speed if the jump button is released earlier to make jumps more merciful.
After a couple of items it seems I couldn't give the items to people anymore, just drop it in front of them. Otherwise, great idea.

Controls could be on-screen at all times, I think. Overall pretty great.
Does the game ever end?
Excellent germ of an idea (working the 'backstage' of a game). The loose controls are more frustrating than challenging, as others have said.
Suggestions:
1) A level that requires you to dismantle pipes already in place and reconfigure them to get to the right point
2) Multiple warp pipes, you have to reset the pipes as the hero travels from one to another
I guess Depression Quest was already taken as a title.
A small game in more ways than one.
Needs end of level bosses!
