cool idea! the one critical problem with it, though, is it's hard to see on what level the blocks are once they're placed - which makes getting lines difficult. other people have mentioned it but i think it makes a game that requires the a high level of concentration like tetris kind of guessing game

the overall visual presentation in this is reallly cool! i don't mind the small window either, or the fast pace of the game. the jumping and movement felt pretty stiff though, which led to some frustrating deaths.

i like this idea a lot. i had some trouble navigating, though. i'd move a really long time in the direction of the static and i never got anywhere. maybe i'm missing something. though a lot of it was that i had to stop after awhile cause it was hurting my ears

i loved this! i loved the feel of the movement and the fisheye prespective. i loved it even more when you got hit. the map screen is also really awesome. only complaint is i think it would look much better in a stricter b/w aesthetic.

cool idea. a few things: i had a hard time keeping off the wave of guys after a bit. maybe i'm just not understanding the mechanics yet, because i don't know what the darker squares seem to do. also i would make the player's square stand out more & (a minor thing but) ingame when it said "L&R to shoot" it confused me.

i like the name and the painting theme. i also like how the stage gets lighter and lighter as you kill more enemies. the idea didn't strike me as particularly distinctive or fun though.

happy face's happy adventure sure involves a lot of spiteful triangles and hostile environments. this seems like a WIP - several things seem kind of broken or out of sync and i'm not sure if that's because they're not fixed or i just don't understand the mechanics. some sound or other kind of player feedback would drastically help

i couldn't really get anywhere other than wandering around the building. i like the idea of the game telling you stuff is there when it's not there visably. maybe a map screen would've helped that idea out, though.

neat idea (though the symbolism was maybe a bit too heavy-handed for me), but i found it too easy - and consequently kind of boring. i think it's ok to instadeath the first time your character gets hit for this kind of game. it's also probably ok to speed up the red guys a little bit. i did like how the sprites looked a lot.

the slidy movement didn't really work for me. it would almost be better as choppy. i like the gameboy visuals quite a bit, but the text/menus are kinda ugly.

i love the look of the blocks and the gun. i wish more games did stuff like that. in terms of balance - it would've been nice to see the cores turn red a little slower. it doesn't really allow you to renew your resources fast enough before shooting at you. also i wish there was some form of audio (though i def understand time limitations).

neat. kind of reminds me of some of increpare's simpler puzzle games. honestly, though, i think this should be a one-button game. using a bunch of keys to do the same action is needlessly confusing and doesn't add much to the game.

i liked the look a whole lot (esp once you go down from the begining), and the way the camera moves. not sure what i was supposed to do, and not sure if this is intentional but it ran unplayably slow for me =(

very cute! also yay stencyl! (i used it for my game too). i like the visual style too, and i like how quickly everything moves. i maybe would've liked designed stages or at least more accurate generation, because it makes things feel stale after a bit and sometimes the blobs spawn into an unwinnable situation.

the stick to ceilings mechanic made this a lot less frustrating in places, though i think you should make it more apparent that is an intentional thing you can do. i stopped right at the end of the 4th stage (i think?) when navigating the spikes got super hairy, but it was pretty enjoyable overall

i like mario, and the mini version of him looks nice too =). why does mario move on his though? i'd prefer a straight up mario clone.
