Original. There are many good ideas but the game lacks a bit of polish.

Original. There are many good ideas but the game lacks a bit of polish.
I know, it's pretty boring after the first iterations.
At first, there should have been new elements after 4-5 levels like lava and others traps but you know how it is. I didn't have the time to implement it or to correctly tune the generation of the advanced levels.
Axcho> Any error message when launching the executable?
Perhaps you need to update your graphic driver or to install the visual studio 2010 redistributable:

The graphics are simplistic and there is no sound but hunting my food was strangely fun. Sadly, the zoom and unzoom of the camera is a pain.
Waiting for 40 seconds is not really fun, especially when the play session has the same duration.
Some collisions were strange too, but the concept could be good. You should just tweak a little more the details.
There are some annoying bugs:
- Reload time of the gun too long or too many enemies.
- Long portions without obstacle.
- Enemies that doesn't reset between two run.
But it's a good start. I would like to play a more polished version of this game.
That was really fun. A good concept, well implemented.
There is something that I don't understand:
The only objective of games like Canabalt, Escape or Hexagon (not super hexagon) is the score. They have no achievements, no leaderboards (at least in their first version), the level generator is the same each time you play. Hexagon have the notion of player level (line, triangle, …) but it's almost the same as the score.
And even if their only goal is a better score, they are not boring. In fact, they are considered addictive.
So, what doesn't work with my game? Ok, they have better graphics, better music, better realization, but it's not replay value, isn't it?
What gameplay elements my game lacks?
@My Milked Eek: The farther you go, the faster the game is. If you reach ~2500m, you will want a speed down button, not a speed up.
I had a bug with the controls: when I am near a wall, the controls are inverted. I don't know if this is wanted.
Could have been better if the controls were more fluid. There is a 1 second delay between a key press and the character movement. This is quite frustrating.
I like the concept and the implementation, but it's a little too easy.
The balancing isn't perfect, a wall of purple tower is overpowered, but that was definitively enjoyable.
The controls could have been more intuitive but I liked the story. Sadly, the ending is quite abrupt.
You could have polished more this game, mainly the collisions, but generally, I liked the concept and the game.
That was a pleasant game.
I would have preferred that the instruction where available somewhere. I skipped the "when spencer" part the first time and couldn't find how to open the map.
Not really fun. It's far too slow and there is nothing interesting in the level design.
You said that you'll continue to work on this game after the competition, I'm curious to see how you improve it.
I liked the graphical style.
There is nothing to do once you reached the 8th level? My pet didn't liked the clicks anymore…
The collision are buggy, the player is too slow, some jumps are too hard, but it's a good start. I would like to see an improved version.
@Cybearg: You need to install the VS 2012 redistributable: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679.
I enjoyed this game. Simple and fun. Sadly, it became a little repetitive after 6-7 levels.
This is a simple but enjoyable game.
I have two remarks:
- Sometimes, I had to solve the same level multiple times.
- When you go down or right, you don't see where you are going. I couldn't solve one of the level for that reason.
Simple little game but fun until you reach 165 mph: you can't go farther, the cars are too close.

This is a good tower defense, fun and challenging.
The player movements are maybe a little slow but except that, I liked this game.
That's a good game. It's just unfortunate that the AI is so bad. It's too easy to win with a basic strategy.
Moreover, the simulation is perhaps a little fast. I don't have the time to really appreciate what happens.
Inspired by Iñigo Quilez?
Beautiful work, there are some artifacts but your renderer it's impressive nonetheless.
That was pretty original and really good. I loved it.
@Taiters: Yes, being synchronized is hard but you can do a section as many times as you want.
If you fail your timing, press space to deselect you unit, go one second before the action (click on the timer bar or press play until you are at the correct time) and reselect the unit to quickly retry.
Just in case: you are not supposed to kill the two guards at the same time in the level 3.
Like the others, i like the concept but the controls are pretty bad. I can't use the space bar, the arrow keys and the mouse at the same time. I have only two hands.
Z and X to tag a block and to invert the gravity would have worked better.
Great game. I enjoyed it but the jump was a little weird.
I can't run the game on one of my PC. I have only a black screen with a music.
Is there an option to replay a level we failed or do we have to replay all the game?
Doing exactly 10 seconds is more luck than skill but that was pretty fun.
This is not really a game but the environment is beautiful. Perhaps you should join a team for the next Ludum Dare.
It would have been nice to be able to play for the 10 seconds even if we die. If you mess, you need to restart the level, you can't save your characters with an other one and continue the mission. That's frustrating.
Except that, that's was fun to play. Good work.
Good interpretation of the theme. That was fun.
Great game, very good concept.
This is a great game. It's maybe a little slow in the first levels but it's not a problem anymore when you have dozen of bullets and turrets to avoid in the last level.
As a side note, if you go to the left or the right in the first screen, you fall in the void and skip the first level.
Shooting the cubes in all the directions was really fun.
Jumping on them was too hard.
