Not only it's a GBA game, it has a good concept and good level design. Great work!

Not only it's a GBA game, it has a good concept and good level design. Great work!
Once I got it it's really nice! it's much easier the more sides there are so maybe it should start at an octagon and reduce the number of sides progresively
The difficulty ramps up very fast but I like the concept
Polsihed and beautiful. It took some time to get used to the jump.
I love this kind of games. I finished all levels and now I want more! Great game :)
I never got good juggling and this would not be an exception. Also, congratulations I love the aesthetics and the orginial concept :)
good job!
loved the intro, reminds me of Another World!
Very interesting mechanics and great execution!
This is great, why aren't there more adventure games using videos like this?
I had a lot of fun playing this. Very nice gameplay, a good execution on a fun concept. Was wiped out twice but I will play again
I should have left when I had the chance
It's lovely, really pleasant and polished experience. Love how the scene constructs itself.
I kept trying to do the mikiri counter on trusts! Many have said that Sekiro often feels like a rithm game and it sort of is. I really like it, congrats.
I'm lucky it ended at the dog and I didn't play at work, it's really addicting!
The best part of this is the level design, it feels very complete overall, that's incredible in a Jam. Congrats!
I donated a lot of blood on the tombs sections  Everything is good about this, but the pixelart in just two tones is just killer
I choose the opposite of the things I did in real life. Died in the end anyway.10/10
Love the art style, the little animations and and small touches and how everything comes together, really confident for a lack of a better word. Also the concept is really interesting, it ca be taken in a more puzzle style or ditch the numbers and use it to build small tales like suggested above. Really good entry.
I also did a samurai game! The dash is VERY satisfying, specially after upgrading. I also like the litle touch of the spinning cursor. Well done!
I find this type of games really addicting, only could have been better with a proper animation of the pyre!
It' clicked for when I realised I could have more than one player at the same time. As a criticism, perhaps it would be better if everything was a bit smaller so there could be more on-screen
This is really fun, I spent a lot of time playing with my monstrosity. You should make an spider.io in the vein of agar.io and the like.
I loved it, specially the lo-fi aestethic. I would have liked if you had to mine the resources separately perhaps? I don't know, but this is one of my favourites, I just like space games.
Man that concept art was worth paying extra
Short but cute, I want to see more adventures of these two
I love the idea of currency understood as sharing your life, I had a similar concept at the beggining but couldn't come up with a good game orround it. I also like the clean look, of the city, it's a really good entry
I like the feeling of the shooting, can feel the impact. I played with the OST of Katana Zero in the background. really fitting.
Really good version of Robotron, and in such a short time! I liked the little touches, like the death animation and the level ending warp effect. I'l play again for sure.
Very evocative and serene. I would like a more direct control of the ship perhaps.
love the concept and it's well realized, but it really breaks my mind trying to solve the puzzles. It's hard for me but still I think it's really neat.
Ugh, archers being able to shoot in any angle is a bug, I'll fix it! Thanks for the comments! I ran out of time and there are many things missing that I planned. I'll do a post-compo version for sure
@conspite That's amazing! thanks for helping the players! I wanted the game to be difficult but fair, but with limited time I feel the balance is off. for a post-compo version I'm working on improving timings and on more interesting behaviours for the enemies, as well as new types.
@refraction Yeah, that's a problem thanks, I didn't test that version enough. Doesn't happen if you go to fullscreen mode, but i'll think about alternate controls.
@jordantanner Yes it is, it's just a bunch of hinge joints chained together, and then I use their transforms in a line renderer. I used the official Unity tutorial about hinge joints, it's easy really and helps give the illusion that there is more animation than what's actually there.
Man, reminds of the mini game in Kirby Super Star, fantastic! My keyboard sure have a lot of lag though :/
This is the exact same idea I had for the previous LD, that's really cool! I liked succesfully launching a beam, destroying a bunch of spiders and making a rush for the health pickup. It's basic now, but already fun and addicting.
I was more hyped about finding the sword than in a zelda game. Also moving physic elements around the map as far ass I could take them.
That's some bullet hell in the second room enemy. It is fun and quite playable, but I didn't notice the improvements when buying things, perhaps they should be more obvious?
I tried the v2 version, the one with sounds. I'm glad I did, so funny. You did a complete turn based combat system, impresive.
So so good, bonus points for remindming me of the old Micromachines games! I also liked the level design, it's easy, but that's perfect for the Jam, allows you to get a feeling of the game, like the first world of a full game.
A real, functional NES game, I was really impressed when I reached the shop. Great effort. Enemies take too many hits though!
I also had some trouble with the platforming but overall it was good, it was interesting to explore due to the variety in the dungeon.
So simple and yet so engaging. I became part of the scenery too many times but I loved it, congrats
Well I'm really bad at it, but then again i never was that popular in HS :) It's a fantastic concept, with more time could be something on mobile I think
The otherworld could use some detail and the combat a bit more feedback, but it's really awesome! It made me interested in this games world and the characters adventure in a very short time, that's not easy.
This is just a very good game, `Jam or not, I dont know what more to add. Had a lot of fun playing it.
It's fun to play, the begining of each level is the critical part, the rush to place the first turrets. I love the chime when you complete the level. You should put screenshots from the game in this page, the pixel art is really cute!
Even in this state is funny and fun to play. I wish you had the second day to finish it!
This is very cute and well designed! It kept me entertained quite a bit and I though it was quite an ingenius design.
Lovely art and interesting mechanics and world building. It's really good, despite finding the same small issues as other people I think this has a lot of potential.
Good concept an level design. Even when I was falling to my dead I always tried to throw my plant to safety. It's the eyes, it's too cute, I can't let it die.
Confusing at first, and then really addicting. Great graphic desing too.
It's a beautiful story and a beautiful way to tell it, a nice way to make the listener to pay attention to what it's being told and participate to it.
One of my favorites so far, I mean the parallax alone. I love the feeling of the controls. All around great really.
A tense and addicting game, like a rhythm game but with space horror instead of music. At least with the controller it plays fantastic.
The concept and art are genius, I found it really funny.
I realy like retro fps asthetics, I want to do one myself one day, and also mixing digitized sprites. I also really liked the idea, I didn't read the instructions so I was confused for a bit, but finding a path balancing your heart rate was interesting. I liked it, I just want more, more to do and more to see, post jam of course.
Very atmospheric and unsettling. I kinda wish there was an overhead view when you die showing the actual path you have taken, GPS style, because I'm pretty sure I've been going around in circles like an idiot most of the time! :)
Love the concept, and it plays well, I haven't had the oportunity to play with another person, but looks like it could be really fun. Great job!
At the begining I was thinking of writing a review about how I love the intro and just the calming presentation. But then the game started, this is a stress simultor! so many notifications. And you can be really cruel, lovely.
You need more reviews! It's really well presented, with the mechanics explained and added one by one. Perhaps too difficult for me, but it's really well done.
@remco We took that into consideration, we wanted the player to nudge the tree to the desired path, not take direct control of it. The generator has some rules on better angles and number of subranches, but other than that is left to chance. Maybe there is a fantastic game with the another set of rules!
This is very neat. Three simple puzzles, but I wanted to stay untill the end. Good job.
Don't be hard on yourselves, the concept is simple but there is really good craftsmanship in here. I quite like it.
It took a while to get the rythm, but it's cool once you get it. The pixel art is cool! I also would like the bars to be closer to the action, so you can see both.
It needs checkpoints! but that aside, this is neat. The level design is good, a game like this could get frustrating fast but this isn't. Maybe a few more mechanics and visual polish, but really, good job.
Love the use of the theme and what you accomplished with it. i wish there where more actions and things to manage though.
I would perhaps have liked to have more context about the people you have to talk to, but I like the concept and I felt it came from an honest place. Nice take on the theme and I hope it gets more votes, it deserves it.
The controls take getting used to, but it's very neat visually, with good sense of depth and beautiful backgrounds. Also good effort on getting a boss battle and wall jumping and different weapons in time for the jam!
I need morre levels! The music is pretty killer too.
The music is pretty killer! I felt the game was too easy at the beginning actually, not much to do until the homing missile, but it's a nice idea.
Dinos with funny hats?! you make a strong case for best games here! Its simple but fun to play, a good time.
The best part is the dramatic intro, that's one badass mother bird. I need a highscore or something to motivate me to play again!
Fun, funny and addicting! I really liked it, I can see playing this on the phone.
On my first try an accidental key press sent the egg directly into the basquet, and I thought I was an epic player! Then I proceeded to break a few dozen eggs in the next levels :D . Had a lot of fun.
I checked the game because I thought it was going to be a shmup, one of my favoiurite genres! But its something very crazy and super fun. I love how frantic it gets.
Once you get to the third level it gets difficult but it's fantastic. Good level design and I love the touch of the radars working differently. Not as difficult as my first experience with aquatic survival horror, Ecco the Dolphin :dolphin:
I love everything about it, except that it's difficult to predict the outcome of your actions. But anyway I kept trying because I loved the little animations and dialogue. Also I died the most of lack of sleep, so it checks out.
Ok, I've been in this situation before so this is stressful, I kept hoping for the next gate to be the correct one! Good fun, and good job.
Aaaand there goes my afternoon. I spent a lot of time with it but I didn't get past level 6. Anyway this is really fun, simple as it is. Great job!
I just kept trying one more time. At first I though I could keep the pen at the same point on the screen and move the scroll, but that only works for a while. Love the music and the character too.
I Love the Game & Watch look, I want to do something in that style sometime too. But man does this guy poop.
I loved it! Controls feel spot on to me and I love the little touches, like the camera zooming out when youa re apart, the change in music from the tutorial to the pumping one for the real levels or how generous the pull mechanic is. Its a great game, one of the best, congrats.
I didn't stop until I got all the fish, it's really well done. I love the funny face the fish have and tossing them around when dragging objects.
The whole loop of farming your own enemies and unlocking items is genius and works really well. Controls are perfect too.
I'm from Barcelona myself and I hate tourist that party in their flats all week, and I still like the game XD I think your speed movement should be a tad faster compared to police, once they are in your tale there is no way to shake them of
I really suck :) Love the voice acting, had a lot of fun with this
Surprisngly adictive, I've been playing this one for quite a bit! I would put the camera a bit lower perhaps so you can see better ahead
SUch a simple game, but it's a great time waster. Neat.
It's fun and funny, I didn't get very far until I read your comment, there is some nuance here! Well done really.
I love how this looks, really well crafted. It's a bit too difficult for me though.
Having your shoots become enemy bullets is a great concept, and it works great here. Had a lot of fun!
I've played a lot of tetris in my life, so this was a bit of a mindf**k, with the ball destroying your plans. A good one though.
Crowned! cute
I love the graphics and the concept, but had a bit of a difficult time with the controls, Perhaps the slash is a tad too slow for me? Anyways, a great job
My brain hurts playing it, but this is genius! Very clever concept.
I didn't unlock the last skin but I played a lot and loved it. The combo mechanic is the magic touch here I think
So cute! I love using the water gun to bounce them arround. Really frantic too, once you have more than one dog. Great graphics and good coding, congrats!
This really needs better instructions, because it's actually a neat game. Had fun even without the powerups.
Really liked this one. I love the multitasking boost mechanic!
This is really funny, everyone I showed it to loved it!
I peed all over the floor. I couldn't help thinking about a full metal gear game with this feature set
Stupid fun! I like how it resets things if you mess up something
This is really cool, I've never had to type jump so fast in my life. Also I love how much personality your character has. I hope you get many more ratings.
There are a lot of nice litle graphical touches in this. I had a bit of a problem trying to aim my hits, but nice work here.
Mixing Castlevania and bikes, two of my biggest loves. High Marks, would die again.
Clicking to turn making you loose speed is kind of frustrating! I did like the game though
It's a good concept! but the weapons you get are worse than the unlimited one so there is little incentive to cultivate i think
That was fun! That hitbox on the fairy was too big though, I'm too used to the typical "pixel in the midle of the ship" of the genre. Will dress up again.
The mechanics were a bit confusing at first, didn't get the UI, but once you get it it's good fun. Loved the main character.
116, damn kiwis! The game is very simple but with a good mood
It has a really well though concept and the execution is fantastic. Love this. Somehow it makes me remeber palying Solomon's Key on my game boy.
Well designed mechanics and puzzles, I really liked it even if it doesn't fit the theme that well.
I was a big fan of DDR back in the day. The music in this is awesome. Nice work!
I wouldn't say these are incompatible genres but anyway it was fun, good game. It would be great if it was fully controllable with mouse or touch. Also perhaps some way to know the level of the enemies, perhaps buying an item?
Couldn't get past the first enemy. Super well crafted though, congrats!
Needs more type of upgrades and enemy patterns, but the concept is good. I can imagine something mad max style.
