This looks amazing! However, I think you should not make all those tiles around you bounce. Maybe keep the ones that are explored and animate those that aren't. Idk. It just looks too chaotic for a relaxed game like this.
Very conceptual, thought provoking and very beautiful! I loved your style and the theme you chose, it makes you think a bit about life and the choices you make along the way.
stunningly beautiful, you should be really proud of what you've built.
Game looking super great, sounds goes very well with the atmosphere you wanted to create. I found the time consuming just a little bit fast but probably because I needed to explore a little bit more. I found the quest system super interresting and it completely fits the theme :D Nicely done
The atmosphere and art were amazing! I'm not sure if there are multiple win scenes, but I got the one in the North and it was really fun to figure out how to get there. I liked how there were different paths to ever place and how your time spent was important to manage. Honestly, I don't have much to say about what you could improve, it was just a really nice game. Oh, and I loved how diagonal movement worked!
It's lovely, really pleasant and polished experience. Love how the scene constructs itself.
The art is amazing, the boucing tiles are interested but not with each jump. It's a really nice discovery game.
Hello, and thank you all for your warm feedbacks! We're super glad that you enjoyed the experience :)
@flywolfe there are actually 7 different endings. We really hope that the community will find them all! @shaddo I guess that time is always consuming faster than what we wish...;) @argon @alienplay @bramreth @ja-viera @ougrouk @palsina thanks for the kind words!
Liked the style and the idea of the game, good one.
That game looks super cool! But for some of the actions you can perform, nothing special happens. That made me loose a couple of times. Still, a really good game!
Thanks for your feedbacks!
@skyball life is not always super fancy! That's part of what we wanted to illustrate. There's no such things as loosing. It's just one end amongst others :) But I get your point!
Good game, it's relaxing. The design is very pretty, and the atmosphere is very chill. Nicely done!
Really amazing game guys, good job ! The graphics and the music are on point, and the world is just waiting for exploration with a really nice feeling !
Great visuals! The animations and map popping up feel great for this kind of exploration game. I didn't quite get why I was a cupboard though :D
best atmosphere, great sounds and graphics. love it.
This was quite relaxing :) Great mood and the art style fits also very well. I wish i could explore more but for this limited amount of dev time it turned out great!
Great game .. I like the way the level generates :) really pretty
Great concept and mood!
I found it very relaxing. The ambient music and minimalistic art gives really builds up the mood. I also really liked how you interpreted the theme. There are so many things we want to do but everything costs portion of our life-it's a very simple concept but well executed.
Wonderful game. Really, it's super cool ! Congrats ! There's so much polish..! It's clear you gave a lot of love in it. Thanks for making this :) Keep going making such great games :)
Amazing game, was a pleasure to play it on stream, the mood and general atmosphere is something special! only thing i would look into it is a way to regain time, maybe this can be done if this game is expanded someway, great entry!
Les graphismes sont vraiment magnifique et le mood très spécial. Le game play est super chouette, j'ai vraiment beaucoup aimé
Wahou, the best entry I played so far. I really liked the simplicty of the art and sound design. I wish you a good ranking, especially un graphics ;)
Hey there. Thanks a lot for all the warm feedbacks!
@tapehead haha we wish we could have done even more...It's part of the Ludum Dare experience, I guess :)
@jvolonte haha, didn't even notice it could be interpreted like that
@fahim-faysal thank you so much. Music is not at all what I do for a living, so I'm happy if it reached its goal!
@Andreadbx and it was a pleasure to watch you playing it ;)
@lola merci à toi!
@gaming-night Really touching, thanks a lot! We'll see, but the most important part is all of you playing it and enjoying it
Beautiful art, nice atmosphere of exploration. Just wonder is this a custom homemade game engine or something popular?
@stark Thanks! We've used Fusion 2.5 (Clickteam) to create the game
This is exactly my kind of game. I could play it forever. I might play it forever.
@nayaki-anandan please do so, but don't forget to rest from time to time...:D More seriously, thanks for the warm words, and glad you liked it!
The combination of all tiny details creates a pleasant immersion, especially like art style. Great job!
I loved all the little bits of narrative sprinkled about. It makes every playthrough feel unique, which is hard to accomplish in a jam game!
The graphics are lovely and the sounds are very cute. Would love to have a way of seeing what you were able to accomplish each playthrough, maybe by having a timeline of your actions at the end
Really awesome work!
OMG !!! I loved this game !!!! Make a complete game like that !! For Pete's sake !!!!
I also played a game. If you can, please try it, rate it and comment.

Amazing, it gives me those bastion vibes! Also reminds me of Minit.
Gorgeous, just gorgeous! The atmosphere/mood for this game is probably the best I've experienced so far, I just would like to see an extension of the main song for a S-tier experience!
Hey there, thanks a lot for the kind words :)
@deprecat we thought about that but had no actual time left to implement it! Jam rules, you know :)
@euler-moises thanks! We'll try to give it a shot asap
@hugimugi7 haha too much pressure! The funny thing is that I personally didn't knew about Minit while doing the game. Discovered it post release, looks awesome :)
@ianlux thank you so much! I agree for the music, but unfortunately piano is only a hobby to me, so it'd have taken too much time to compose a longer music sheet ^^` will try to go further next time!
Nice art and good background tune. The tile effect was interesting, but it was hard to see what you had already explored. I thought that you could spent time at each question mark, but there were quite a few were this wasn't possible (example: person in hammock). There was this blue flower that I picked up, but I didn't notice any changes in the world. I became friends with the weird animals, but I still couldn't interact with them. From the pictures it seems like you need to get the blue flower and then give it to the cube at the hammock, but this isn't clear when you are playing the game. It's interesting that you need to decrease your playtime in order to unlock certain things, but the time decreases quite quickly forcing you to move fast and not take in the world.
@mika-la-grand Hey Mika, thanks for the feedbacks!
Indeed, the game turns a lot about world exploration and multiple playthrough, as we wanted the player to explore the game unguided. It's more on a philosophical point tho, that we never have enough time in a life to do everything we want :) We wanted the Gameplay to replicate that feeling. But thankfully, in a game, you can get a lot of different lifes!
Thanks again, we hope you enjoyed the experience anyway!
Amazing art and good mood, nice work!
Wow , really nice entry! loved the mood and the fading level effect. Great job!
Just one more thing that I forgot to mention. I think that the time fading even if the player isn't doing anything is a bit too harsh. I'm not sure it's a great mechanic. I think that if the player consumed slots only by interacting with stuff then the game would be better!
Other than that, you already know everything that I think. Great game :)
Really nice atmosphere, and awesome graphics! I will try to find all the endings later on 🙂
Thank you for submitting your game to be played on my stream!
Once the stream is finished you can find the video here: https://www.twitch.tv/ursagames/videos If you want to know when it was played you can find your game in the queue here: https://tinyurl.com/y5rdokvp
Thank you all for the kind words!!
@ursagames, I watched the video, and you actually only missed one ending in the game... Pretty impressive!
Wow this looks really cool. Wish I had a PC so I could play it. Super curious!
Thank you for replying to my post about documenting LD 44. This is an excellent entry! Really nailed the feeling of mystery behind this world.
Would love to know what engine was used and the logic behind the code that generates the world tiles. You can email me at starplebe@gmail.com if you'd like or reply here. Whichever works for you. Thank you!
Cool music, ambience, sfx and graphics, well polyshed and love for the way that the exploration feeling comes exactly as "Bastion"! Well done !!!
Aww man.. that was so sweet.. what a cool game!! really moody.. made it till the end, great job! an amazing contender
Very aesthetically pleasing and well executed game. I like the replayability and the world being built as you walk mechanic. The art and music is beautiful. Exceptional work!
This game has the best mood I've seen of any game this LD. The aesthetics are very clean and cohesive. Audio is pleasant and suitable.
There's only a couple minor things I noticed for improvement. The walking/bouncing tile animations, while awesome, might be a bit overkill. Maybe the tiles could slow down as they near the surface?
As someone else mentioned, it does seem unnecessary to lose life while idling. It makes the player feel like they need to rush. Which is a shame, because this is a game where it's worth looking around at the environment.
Still an awesome game and I hope to see more from your group in the future!
Great entry, guys. Right away, the mood and aesthetic is captivating, and the meaning behind the game is heart-wrenchingly beautiful, because you know, life is beautiful. The graphics and audio seemed to really work well together, and the polish on everything is really nice (particle effects, squash and stretch on player animation, text-based dialogue, tile mechanics, etc). All very nicely done!
Nice art and color ( gray ) palette, it creates a very neat atmosphere, the map is successful and cool to explore, nice work!
Very nice! I found the flower and book ending. I like how finding the different possible paths is a puzzle, though I guess you're not supposed to waste time walking around haha. Nice job!
Thanks for submitting your game - just played it on stream. Thanks for being there and thanks for creating a good game.
A really beautiful game . You guys did a really good job.
I found the flower and journey endings. You're saying there are 7 in total?? That's a lot! I guess I need to keep looking...
This is an interesting take on trade-quests in Zelda games. I did think the fact that time *also* slowly erases your life was a stroke of genius. It forced me to make interesting decisions, such as whether to continue the path I'm taking, and whether to listen to a character.
Some of the clues given in the game is a little too obtuse for me to figure out. I did feel a little tired after trying to find some of the endings, largely due to the high reliance of trial and error. I'll give it another go after the stream to see if there are any pathways I missed (after 3 endings or so).

Hmph, nope, only found the following endings so far:
* Destroy rock to get the starting quote. * Go back home after 1 unit remaining for bookend. * Plant flowers in the desert. * Be friends with weird animals.
I'm still stuck trying to figure out how to deal with the family. There doesn't seem to be a special prompt that appears with them.
@omiya-games sorry for the late answer! Spoilers ahead!!! First of all, you found everything the game has to offer at the moment :) My explanations follow :
Actually, doing things with the family is a way to live your life! And also it diminishes strongly the cost of everything, as it's always quicker to do things when you're two rather than alone. To us you can then finish with two, or three family members. We also consider dying alone anywhere in the world as an ending, because you know, life isn't always that special :)
For the farmer NPC, he only tells that he would need help as a teasing for your taking care of all the animals (which you found already) For the weird guy, we had something planned for him, but had not enough time to go to th end with him. Sorry if it was a bit misleading!
Hey, I've played your game on stream today ^-^ You can find the video here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/425268176?t=01h22m22s
Super calm, super pretty, very polished... amazing
@syrapt0r just watched it, thanks a lot for your feedbacks! About the ending you were looking for with flowers, maybe you should try to talk to the guys at the farm first ;)
