LD38 — A Small World

To do list by Finlal 2019-02-20T12:10:00Z

Hi, nice game. I played the post jam version, but it crashed when sleeping at the end of the day in which you workout with the football and remove the weed from your crops. It's also a bit annoying that the game isn't full screen.

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

For Better or For Worse by valandre 2019-09-20T16:19:17Z

Nice atmosphere and cool crt effect. Though, I wasn't sure how to fight the enemies.

Money transporter by lexi 2020-04-22T10:44:27Z

Pretty fun idea, some sound would be great. I would also like something that shows how much money you currently have.

LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Gnome Man's Sky by Tim Ruswick 2018-12-04T17:35:23Z

It's quite fun, but the locks abstruct the required amount of resources. I thought that I only needed 75 wood, but in the end it turned out it was 750 and I was fucked.

LD44 — Your life is currency

My Life is Not Currency by rjhelms 2019-05-19T12:46:55Z

Nice music and interesting take on the theme, my score was 9700. I found the levels quite easy, since the enemies are not much of a threat. So you can just run around until you find the life boxes.

The Battle for Slime King on Slime Mountain by MrTroy 2019-04-30T15:47:46Z

I thought that the slime guy was hard to control. He shoots in the direction that he is facing, while I expected him to shoot towards the mouse position (same goes for dashing). The slime is spawned very far away from the camera and it is hard to see which slime you are controlling, since there are no good indicators (only what you remember from the setup screen). I also expected that I would gain back hp upon eating an enemy. The models and the background audio was good though.

Pulsation by stevenjmiller 2019-05-06T14:48:32Z

It's a very innovative idea, but it is too difficult at the moment. It seems like it is based a lot on trial and error, instead of understanding the mechanic.

Wizard of Worth by schizoid2k 2019-05-07T14:31:01Z

I have really seen a game like this. I was wondering if the wizzard can also get killed by the demon. Multiple times I died when the demon did his little flying away animation. Maybe you can check if the wizzard is in the path of the demon and fly him away in the other direction. It would also be nice if you give the player a few seconds to see why he died, before showing the game over message.

Seize the Clay by SecondDimension 2019-05-08T19:39:32Z

It's a nice game, but it really needs a tutorial. Without watching someone else play the game, you don't know how to begin. Which is by walking over to the table with the drawings of the pots, after that walk anti clock wise to each table thingy.

Apocarmalypse by CocaPasteque 2019-05-04T21:23:30Z

Nice game guys. It was quite funny that the car looked completely different after every upgrade. Though I would like to replay the level when you fail, instead of being reset to the beginning. The quit button also doesn't work in the main menu.

A Burning Rabbit Experiment by Jani Nykanen 2019-04-29T18:38:04Z

I feel like there is too much happening at once. There are also sometimes two rabbits on screen at once, which doesn't help either. Though it was funny game and the graphics looked really good.

PATH, a game of life by Ekilibr 2019-05-03T12:30:08Z

Nice art and good background tune. The tile effect was interesting, but it was hard to see what you had already explored. I thought that you could spent time at each question mark, but there were quite a few were this wasn't possible (example: person in hammock). There was this blue flower that I picked up, but I didn't notice any changes in the world. I became friends with the weird animals, but I still couldn't interact with them. From the pictures it seems like you need to get the blue flower and then give it to the cube at the hammock, but this isn't clear when you are playing the game. It's interesting that you need to decrease your playtime in order to unlock certain things, but the time decreases quite quickly forcing you to move fast and not take in the world.

Bloodmoon Season by gogo199432 2019-05-02T20:49:00Z

The camera movement is kinda bad, which makes it pretty scare when all of sudden there is this giant werewolf in front of you. A tried firing the crossbow, but it didn't work eventhough I had 10 ammo. I am not sure how you are suppose to switch between the weapons that you have picked up. I thought that the weapon would be dropped on the floor, but I didn't see it. There was also some lag (maybe just my laptop), which probably made the camera movement worse. It's impressive that you made the art in 72 hours.

Money Cabin by Tero Pulkkinen 2019-05-02T16:42:37Z

The hair is quite funny. The goal is to collect the coins but the controls are a bit unconventional (rotate with a/d is usually move in the x axis). I can't really see what is going on, because the camera clips through objects and doesn't change as I rotate the guy with the funny hair.

Sigilite by Chilleh 2019-04-29T16:37:22Z

I can see how it fits within the theme, but I can't figure out how to interact using E. You kill enemies by clicking on them, which you could also mention under the controls. I thought that the audio was alright, but the camera was way to sensitive.

SHELTER by OccultOne 2019-05-07T20:12:13Z

Instructions

The 64x version doesn't work, use wasd to move, e to interact and f to turn on the flashlight (yes I tried pretty much every key on my keyboard), pick up the flashlight before picking up the walkie talkie (thank me later). You should now also have 20 ratings.

GERYDAS TOWER by Syrapt0r 2019-04-29T17:45:34Z

It's an interesting story and good background sound. Maybe there can be somewhat of an indication in which direction you have to go. There were also bats flying over the wall and the UI in the top left is partially outside of the frame (so I can't see it).

We Live in a Society by 1samuel411 2019-04-30T15:03:00Z

I thought that the art looked very nice. However the story was too slow for me and the gameplay was quite limited. In which case good music/audio is very important.

Oink Royale by Skoggy 2019-05-22T15:44:19Z

Nice game all around, though I wasn't a fan of the motion blur and there seemed to be some input lag each time I wanted to start moving.

CrazyAmbulance by C64Gamer 2019-05-09T21:10:40Z

I kinda wish that the level was only in the day time, because it's very hard to see obstacles at night. The ambulance also sometimes stops all of sudden, sending you straight into an obstacle with no way of stopping. Though on my best run I managed to get 682 points.

Mine Corp. by Hadik 2019-05-07T20:25:58Z

A well polished game. Some minor complaints would be that the healthbar of some of the bigger enemies can be obscured by clouds.

BOB by Phyro 2019-05-10T16:51:55Z

On the first try I managed to get the humans to the new planet. I once had the fat guy with the vr ask a question and bob answered with "You need to be with your parents little one", so that's probably a bug. Besides the bug was it a great game, with nice art and music.

Money Mafia by miltage 2019-05-07T19:53:59Z

The art and music were great, but the guns were very inaccurate and I didn't like having to constantly scramble for another weapon. Enemies were also sometimes positioned below view of the camera, making it hard to kill them and pick up their weapon. Though the intro was well done and the bullet holes in the wall and breaking of the window were a nice touch.

Labyrinth of Souls by jharler 2019-05-02T17:44:19Z

The voice of the red sphere was good, though the intro was a bit long. I also thought that there needed to be more build up before you reveal the "enemy", perhaps with some music.

safecrack by torcado 2019-05-19T13:21:30Z

Pretty unique game. Though I found the progress to be quite slow at the start. The html webplayer also frequently freezes when you're taking damage.

City33 by Mr_Field 2019-05-06T13:58:43Z

I really liked the game, but yeah it is a bit hard. The main difficulty is in finding things. I kept on dying, untill I figured out where you buy health. There were also multiple gun shops, which was good design. However I couldn't find the bank or otherways to make a lot of money. The cash machines give some money, but not a lot. I don't know if they have a cool down or that you can only rob them once, but that would otherwise be a good change as well. The humor was great though; with people getting run over by cars, civilians getting shot and bounty hunters shooting each other.

Populistic Optimization by Genetic Selection by erikkire 2019-05-02T15:27:24Z

The game doesn't work, this is all I see.

Schermopname (280).png

Inflate Me to the Moon by DDRKirbyISQ 2019-05-11T16:17:47Z

Well polished game! As others have mentioned, the intro is a bit long and you could change up the gameplay in the later rounds (now it's just more of the same). The fail screen was also the same each time, maybe as the duck falls from a higher heigth in later rounds he breaks something. Then you also have gameplay variety as he needs to fix his broken body first.

Blood Currency by theviraldragon 2019-04-29T21:43:00Z

I found another bug, if you quickly press up multiple times you can go on the roof or even up into space. The same bug happens quickly pressing down. Overall it was a pretty funny game Theme 5.0; Humor: 5.0; Bugs: many. I also kinda missed another level with the ending, like your other son was the pizza guy.

Bug (1).JPG

What dead guy?

Bug (2).JPG

Graveyard Ghost by Jesús González 2019-05-07T20:54:26Z

Nice game overall. Some points critique would be that teleport and hide both use the c key, which leads to some annoying circumstances. I also didn't understand how to use the map in the top right. At one point I think I went through the wrong gate (just after learning about the hide mechanic). I ended up where the red circle is on the picture, I must have gone back accidentally. So perhaps don't allow player to go back through gates.

Your life is my money by squaredev 2019-05-03T16:08:53Z

Funny game! At the place were you sacrifice the sheep I ditched my giant train of animals. So when the ladies made comments about how I am bringing the whole islands food supply with me, I realised that you don't check how many animals are following me. After the game is finished you continue to centre the screen on the mouse cursor, so you can't actually press quit. Other than those things, was it a great game.

Your life is my money by squaredev 2019-05-03T16:11:18Z

325 ratings given? Does it count both of you, because that's a massive amount of games to play!

DEVOUR THE FLESH by chaoclypse 2019-05-19T13:14:14Z

Great game, really enjoyed playing it.

Oscilloscope by Shard 2019-04-29T18:32:39Z

I think it is a very innovative game, so that perhaps why I have no clue how to play it. The Oscilloscope also looks very nice.

PepperTony by designernap 2019-04-30T15:56:14Z

Happy birthday man! I do have some unfortunate news, the game doesn't work.

Schermopname (278).png

Sword of Hearts by MSiddeek 2019-05-20T13:34:08Z

Well done! The progession of the levels was well balanced. I made it all the way to the end (spoilers). I wanted to ask if you can actually get the sword depending on how many times you died in the previous levels or if you never get the sword?

Drytown by DavidPIxel 2019-05-06T18:07:44Z

Very good game, but I was just wondering which track(s) you are using from incompetech?

Myrrh by bwalter 2019-05-02T15:37:49Z

Beautiful art, but how do I get past this enemy. It was also not clear to me that the stone with the x is a checkpoint and that you can choose to sacrifice a heart in order to use it. I also think that you show the screensize art for too long, disrupting the flow of the game.

Schermopname (281).png

Necromarket by Flaterectomy 2019-05-06T19:05:54Z

I played this game for way to long, great work! Some things that I noticed were that the movement was a bit glitchy from time to time, that you can walk right of the map (left, right and bottom), the objects are rendered in front of the man when does the trading with the other people and that you often pick up/drop the item next to the one you want to pick up/drop (at the gray tables).

Immortal's game by dodormeur 2019-05-22T14:08:46Z

This sure is an innovative game! Some welcome changes would be audio, being able to skip the typewriter text effect, persistant purchases (now reset when dying) and being able to equip and unequip purchases.

@pov How can this game and Coin-Op Kid both be number 1 in the fun category, while they have different ratings?

Battalia by Krassenstein 2019-05-16T12:51:20Z

It feels a lot like Age of War and I wish that you had done more with the theme. Since the warriors overlap, you can't see how many there are really on the battlefield.

This is your life now by reuno 2019-05-03T16:32:32Z

Nice game! I was going to complain that I can't jump with w or the up arrow, but I didn't need to jump. So I guess it's a life choice whether or not the player aimlessly jumps.

Dr. Ectomy by BoxedMeatRevolution 2019-05-03T15:51:58Z

Great game and nice graphics! Unfortunately I couldn't save Mr Livermore. It's a shame there isn't any sound in the game though.

BETRAYDED by karreg 2019-05-03T17:39:58Z

Very funny how their heads turn red and that you can jump on top of eachother to paralize them. I did encounter a bug though. **[BUG ALERT]** When you hold down d and left arrow at the same time the blue spy can't jump while the orange spy can. Though when holding down a and the right arrow they can both jump at the same time. I had to play it alone, so I guess that it isn't obvious when playing against someone. Also the crosshair doesn't actively aim, it just points at the middle of the screen. It would be nice if the player can control it.

Timezone by joemanaco 2019-04-30T18:25:59Z

Great game, but a bit hard for me. Maybe there can be some green crystal scattered across the level, to make it a bit easier.

BULLDOZERS! FROM OUTER SPACE by auxC 2019-04-30T16:07:59Z

It's a pretty good game. The models look very nice and the sfx are decent. However I thought that you didn't explain very well how it works. A good explanation would be that the purple machines destroy the land, which decreases the maximum amount of points the bar can have. The shaman increase your points at the temple. The points are used to attack the purple machines. I wasn't sure if the shaman could also die from my attacks or only by the purple machines.

Grand Theft Life by silkworm_sweatshop 2019-05-02T20:19:16Z

Awesome game! This is one of those games you can keep expanding on for the rest of time. An interesting addition would be family and another could be managing a business.

Combo Wiz by pokenoufl 2019-05-02T15:54:30Z

The art is quite unique I would say, but it can also be distracting. I thought that it was a bit unfair that the eyeballs can go across the darkness, while the player can't. I was mainly looking at the counter at the top right, not noticing the UI for the combo's at the bottom. It wasn't clear to me what that counter stood for. I also didn't understand how you can buy the upgrades. I pressed E whilest standing on them, but I didn't see something change. Maybe the colour of the upgrade circle can change temporarly when buying an upgrade.

Memorandum by PhilStrahl 2019-05-22T14:45:43Z

Pretty interesting game. I managed to end with 2 memories left. Congrats on scoring quite high in several categories. The pion does get stuck against walls though, rather than it just gliding against them, which was a bit frustrating.

Finding Cookie by samh 2019-05-07T15:53:00Z

**Press z twice to start the game.** It was difficult to find out how to even start the game, so I would suggest letting players just use enter or space. I know how difficult it is to make music (because I'm bad at it), but I didn't really like the music and would have found it nice to be able to mute it. The art looked very nice and it was good that people flicker when they take damage. There were a lot of bats flying around and this brown animal was following me after reading a poster about cookie. I was unsure about were I needed to go or what I needed to do, in order to find cookie.

Meds of Honor by anidealgift 2019-05-18T18:03:33Z

Interesting game! Though I couldn't figure out how to throw medkits in the second level.

Heartaker by lukbebalduke 2019-05-06T14:27:30Z

Great game! Some enemies had a little waterdrop icon near them and I didn't understand why I couldn't kill them. From what I can gather, this means that you can only kill them while on blood area's. It's a cool idea, but I would change it so that they sometimes block your attack, because otherwise it just becomes too complicated. The kill counter was sometimes hard to see, because it's the same colour as the platforms. I was also wondering if you keep the abilities that you purchase after you die again or if they only apply for one round after you buy them.

Island Chain by PTSnoop 2019-05-19T12:36:26Z

It's an interesting game with nice music. Though I don't fully understand how to win. It seems like cities need to have a big enough circle to buy and sell, but the economy can quickly hyperinflate. I also don't know what the UI at the top of the screen stands for.

Soul Surge by Brackeys 2019-05-06T13:36:15Z

It looked fun in your video and the art is nice. There are quite a few points that need some work though: - It's hard to attack, because he only attacks in the direction he is facing (making it hard to aim). - Enemies seemed to be killing me eventhough they were far away and I was attacking them properly. - Enemies don't telegraph when their are about to attack. - There was no indication of how many times I could still get hit and no indiction that you take damage. - The audio didn't work (webplayer). It also didn't work in your previous jam game Date Night, so it's likely some piece of code that you keep using that is broken. - Upon game over the game doesn't restart, like seriously man.

Jamsterdam by fonserbc 2019-05-08T19:44:37Z

The graphics are great, but the game is too difficult and there is little explanation on how to play. It was funny though that you put the movement controls in the windows.

Wizards Bane by saladon 2019-04-29T18:04:31Z

I am pressing the correct buttons, but the enemies don't die. Perhaps you can display the range of the spells and not make all of the enemies walk up to the wizard in one big group. If you plan on expanding the game, I would make the player protecting the castle and be able to walk around.

Insert Coin by gil4 2019-05-06T15:23:59Z

Nice game, though very difficult without the 2244 "exploit". The jumping and teleporting was an interesting way of scaling large heights, but sometimes hard to pull off.

Artvertising: The Battle of the Dollar Stores! by Mocadium 2019-05-02T14:14:46Z

Hey great game! I really liked the art and it was quite funny when I all of sudden got run over by a metro. Perhaps you can explain a bit better how to play the game (controls and how to advertise). There was also no target score to work towards, so perhaps add that if/when you add the other levels.

Brave Swordsman by falak 2019-05-07T15:23:52Z

The sword swinging was funny. Though the music was a bit repetitive, because there is only one short track.

Coin-Op Kid by Strega 2019-05-22T13:29:53Z

Nice game with great art and music. Though the level in which you have to jump in between the spikes and shoot backwards was a bit of a difficulty spike compared to the other levels.

Consume by ghost-in-the-toast 2019-05-11T16:34:53Z

I got stuck on level 2 and couldn't restart the level with R, though I have just read on the page that you have to press tab. It would be nice if there is a tutorial in which you explain how the game works. The hints are a good addition, but it still wasn't clear to me how you can see which spider has the key and how the dragging of objects when you move mechanic works.

GÖLDF by CaptainPilot 2019-05-04T20:45:48Z

Great game, but I couldn't get past level 7. I would have liked if the shooting was the other way around (arrow on the same side of the coin as the mouse cursor). It would have also been nice if there was a little marker showing you what force you had applied previously (before the reset) foreach shot of each coin. Other than those things, was it very enjoyable!

Seaway by Constantin 2019-04-30T15:29:21Z

The game is very beautiful! I would have liked some UI letting me know that I'm in auto-pilot and that I'm in peace mode. I couldn't find any harbours to get upgrades for my ship, so I turned on auto-pilot. On multiple occasions the ship started to endlessly rotate around a point. It also ran the ship into an island, causing it to get stuck.

Schermopname (277).png

Jailocorp by jaywoody 2019-05-19T12:25:39Z

I played the post compo version. I started off by trying to find objects that I could interact with, but none of the things I thought that I could interact with showed the circle around the cursor indication. Perhaps you can explain elements of a puzzle, before introducing the player to the puzzle.

The Tail of the Serpent by Le Slo 2019-05-03T14:38:49Z

Very interesting puzzle mechanic!

Fluffensnuff by Rongo Matane 2019-05-10T16:30:30Z

Great game! I couldn't get past level 15, but there were quite a few difficult levels that almost beated me before that. Though some of the hint were quite helpfull. It would be nice if you can also select individual levels.

Seed. by AVAVT 2019-05-02T22:16:56Z

It's a really great game, those annoying humans cutting down all of my trees! You said there was a second ending, but it seems like it is very hard to win from the humans.

Does Money Grow on Trees by Antti Haavikko 2019-04-29T21:15:56Z

Great game! 5 stars across the board. I found that at max you can plant 4 seeds, if you can eat a fruit before sleeping. However I only got about half way to the goal of $300. The amount of crops dying seemed to happen quite randomly, but it was often more than 5 per day. So it was difficulty to maintain a large crop field. I also found one bug; if you press space by the pc, you can then walk to the table and space to eat appears. So probably disable movement when in a selection menu.

Lousy Life Lessons - [LLL] by AwesomeAlliterationAlliance 2019-05-06T16:32:44Z

Pretty purfect, but it would be nice if the cutscenes are skippable for those that want to see both endings. The art, story and voice acting was great though. Kitty has nine lifes too right? So it would have been funny to see everyones reaction to the hero not saving the girl.

Death's Purse by sadsmile 2019-05-03T13:45:14Z

Eating the pizza slices to grow up was funny. The graphics look nice, but I guess that you didn't make those since you opted out of that category. I would have liked to be able to choice the things from the white menu with buttons (so no menu appearing whatsoever). Perhaps you can also add some sounds and animations for the various actions that the player can do.

Ocean Ecobalancer by TheCrittersCove 2019-05-19T20:14:25Z

I found it a very calming game with nice music. Though I did encounter a bug with the fish get stuck on the left side of the screen.

Blood Caverns by Lazertrax 2019-05-02T18:12:35Z

I have tried out your game and I didn't give up already! I think I made it to level 9 or 10, I had just unlocked the weapon after the minigun. So what are the two rules in life? Weapon reloaded a bit too slow for me, so perhaps change it so that it reloads bullet for bullet and you can stop the reloading when you need to. In the level I died there were a lot of dead ends, so it was quite hard to find the exit. Enemies also do a lot of damage, so that didn't help either. I do like the mechanic of your health also getting decreasing by time. Why do you have humor turned off, that's one of the best parts of the game?

Gacha by zchen 2019-05-03T16:59:07Z

The art is nice and music creates a great mood. It wasn't all that obvious at first that you're suppose to press the "a few years later" button to continue, since it is the same colour as the background.

Knock Knock... The travelling soulsman by Angry Squirrels 2019-05-08T21:29:01Z

Lovely game, maybe it can be a bit more forgiving. I got quite a few right, but getting all five right is a bit too hard.

Path of Redemption by Simon Rahnasto 2019-05-06T16:54:05Z

The music and art was nice. It was good that enemies telegraph before attacking and don't all attack you at once when entering a room, however they don't get damaged by obstacles. I also didn't really like the puzzles and they were all based on the same mechanic. There were also multiple times that pick-ups from defeated enemies would spawn on the walls, so that I couldn't pick them up.

Schermopname (287).png

Demonidle by carlosvVk 2019-05-08T20:16:02Z

I'm not much of a fan of idle games and without some sound it's not very engaging. I also feel like you could have done more with the idea. I was going to give an example, but I think the example is so interesting that I am going to make it myself.

Escape from the Mint by clue 2019-05-22T13:42:26Z

The puzzles were well made. Each time you have to rethink on how to approach the puzzle. I couldn't get past the level with the 40c gate with the tree coins. I guess you have to jump over the barrier using the coins, but I couldn't do it. You can also loose a coin if you fall of a platform, but this doesn't result in a restart when all coins are gone.

Mani by Tex Killer 2019-05-20T19:00:00Z

The game doesn't work. It loads up, but then the program freezes and I can't display the program (remains minimised). Windows 10 (64 bits) couple year old decent laptop.

My Sweet Money Shooter by Lex Randea 2019-05-02T16:24:51Z

No idea how to actually win, you shoot and then you die because you don't have any coins. The intro movie was pretty funny. Maybe make it so that you can survive for 5-10 seconds with zero coins, so that the player has somewhat of a chance to kill a couple of enemies.

Elevator Pitch by Hugimugi7 2019-05-07T17:17:48Z

@amerigo-gazaway I must admit that your music is great! Combined with the art and humor it's a great game. I'm mainly a programmer, so if @hugimugi7 is mostly an artist, perhaps we can team up at the next Ludum Dare. Otherwise I would love some insight on how to make good music.

missed messages. by Angela He 2019-05-02T21:07:36Z

It's an immersive story and the art is very beautiful. There were some bugs with the laptop though. Some of the icons in the dockbar at the bottom of the laptop screen are in the wrong render layer, so they appear in front of the windows. You can also accidentally drag the windows to far off screen so that they disappear.

Die Back by NikolayKuznetsov 2019-05-07T19:28:30Z

The art and music is great, but I wished there was more gameplay. I don't know how much is random, but my level 3 boss had high defense. So even while having the +8 hp per turn ability and like 120 hp I still lost from him, while he had like 60 health (down to 30 when I died). Perhaps the gameplay can be more engaging if each turn the player can activate one of his abilities.

Heart of the Grove by johnnydalvi 2019-05-08T19:27:07Z

It's a good looking game and quite innovative, but I didn't find the gameplay very engaging.

Dear Substance of Kin by Deconstructeam 2019-05-03T13:14:00Z

Great game! I am still not sure how the energy lines work. There is this pot with blood(?) that you can put on your fingers, before drawing the lines. In the game it is mentioned that if you do all of the lines, the person turns into stone; but I the blood refills quite slowly after you have used it (one line after each crimson cloth you collect) and I don't think you actually have enough when the jar is completely full. Also the gameplay is a bit slow-paced, but the mood is very good.

THE GAME by Filipe da costa lopes 2019-05-04T21:36:57Z

Art looks good, but the motion blurr is just of the scale. I don't believe that you made the art, because of the contrast of quality with the UI and other parts of the game. You move the character around by clicking, which you could also mention at the beginning. The player uses Q,W,E to use the abilities, but you didn't explain how the abilities work. I thought that you could burn down the gate with the fire, but you have to use it to light the canon (eventhough the canon shoots straight through the player to destroy the fence).

SACRIFIGHTS by Lumpy 2019-05-22T15:37:07Z

Nice graphics and good music, though the gameplay is quite simple and the enemies move around very quickly.

The Kindercatch by LillyByte 2019-05-16T13:00:56Z

The lighting is very dark, making it hard to spot kids and dogs. I thought that you could walk on the roofs, but this is not possible, the dogs do a lot of damage and the kids can run into their homes. Combined this makes the game very difficult.

Ollo's Life by Memel06 2019-05-03T17:29:43Z

I couldn't even solve the first puzzle with rocks, so I looked up the solution. It's very hard to solve a puzzle if you don't know that you are suppose to interact with the rocks and that the rocks need to be a specific colour. Because of the art style, it is not possible to see to which colour you have set the rocks. I would recommend showing the player that they can interact with rocks. Perhaps change the puzzle so that you need to move the rocks (since the colour think doesn't work with art).

Bob the Zombie by Sanguis 2019-05-10T17:00:06Z

Eventhough zombies have been done to death, you guys made a great and innovative game. So well done! I also agree with the points @secretpocketcat made.

Reaper's Keeper by chelC 2019-05-11T16:47:10Z

I couldn't really wrap my head around the controls, I guess that's because they aren't lined up in front of the character. Perhaps it's easier if they are all lined up and you use 1,2,3 to select and space to submit. Other than that, was it a great submission to this ludum dare.

Orb of Life by gcttirth 2019-04-30T16:39:50Z

It's a nice game. I thought that the audio was kinda annoying, because it's so high pitch.

Kaumaha by Re-Markable 2019-05-07T16:42:21Z

Interesting idea, but I didn't notice any clues indicating to in which order I needed to sacrific to the gods. After failing there was also no message explaining why I failed: Did the volcano erupt? Where there to few people? The music was also a bit repetitive, though animations and models were great.

One More Drop by ZAX 2019-05-03T18:14:36Z

If you click continue before all of the text is created, it breakes the text box and after you click start no enemies spawn. This is still the case when you go back to the mainmenu and click start again. After breaking the game the only way to fix it is to restart the game entirely.

Schermopname (286).png

After pausing the game, the shooting doesn't work anymore; untill you press esc again. The potions are a good addition, but the fast walking potion makes you walk way too fast. The regenerating health is a good choice, but perhaps the game could be more challenging if damage from the enemies permanently decreases your health for that wave. The art was great though and it was funny that you had to collect the souls of these giant monsters.

The Coin's Unexpected Adventure by CharlieMrl 2019-05-02T21:20:00Z

Great looking game and a cool concept. I tried to switch sides (keyboard), but I couldn't get it to work. I tried doing it while standing still, while moving and whilest in the air. The motion blur is also quite high, making it a bit hard to see this beautiful art that you guys made in one weekend!

Enemy Of The State by Darylsteak 2019-05-09T09:14:50Z

I'm not sure how it fits into the theme. The apartment doesn't look like it is set in Russia. Enemies don't telegraph when they are going to attack, so it's hard to know when to take cover and when to attack. There is also no animation to show that someone is taking damage.

Bloody Accord by Ryfi 2019-05-02T21:40:21Z

There is a rule in game jam making called the 4:44 rule, 4 hours making and 44 hours polishing. I think you wanted to add as much as possible to the game, but then the end product is quite unpolished and clumsy. For instantance; the teleporting is an interesting mechanic, you could teleport between a high and a low position so that you can better attack the bats when needed. Here's a list of other thinks: - It's good that the enemies have a healthbar above them. - The gun has a very limited range. - The bow doesn't shoot very far and it's hard to see were the arrow will go. - You can just stay at the shop indefinitely, defeating the purpose of the game. - I never bothered with the spells and just used the gun. - The bats attack you with hinting that they are going to attack you. - Player movement is very slow and jumping doesn't work all that well. - The ground enemies seem to all do the same thing. - The enemies are introduced to quickly after each other (doesn't matter now, since they all do the same thing). - Split the enemies up into rounds (each round you have a different enemy, later you combine multiple types). - If you die from an enemy attack from behind, you can't see that since the screen just fades to black. - The tutorial only explains the controls, not the gameplay (do I just endlessly defeat increasing amounts of enemies?)

Making videogames is all about slow improvements, but all of these change shouldn't be to difficult to make or keep in mind for the next game. I do also want to say that the models look quite good. You good also flip it around and make a game that is so bad that it is good, but that is difficult in its own way.

Pucamuc by Mors 2019-05-09T21:01:55Z

Nice game, it is quite difficult though. The pink bouncers can sometimes be a bit glitchy, but this seems to only be a graphical bug not impacting gameplay.

Bank Burner by repine 2019-05-22T14:34:13Z

I made it to level 19: keep pushing through. Though there seemed to be multiple level 16's and level 19's. I also found level 9 to be quite difficult compared to the other levels.

Piggy Butchery by Reality Blind 2019-05-06T14:36:32Z

Great art and music, though it was pretty difficult because they walk so quickly. If you place an object in the wrong place, it is also very hard to remove it using the bomb.

LastSwap by EdevJogos 2019-05-03T14:52:58Z

You customise a creature using a,s,d then you spawn it with w. Then you combine the eye and the green using left and down (up to confirm) to change the healthbar to red. Then you combine green and red using down and right (up to confirm) to refill your bar back to full. Repeat untill you have killed the enemies? This seems very complicated, so maybe I am playing it wrong but this does seem to kind of work. My point is that it is quite complicated and there is no interactive tutorial taking the player through the various steps.

Koe by velvetlobster 2019-05-03T17:17:09Z

Quite quickly I figured out that you can swipe the floor with space, but I didn't know what it was for. I think most people will click on the bed, when you tell them not to. I clicked all over the place to find ammo, thinking that you need to kill the giant insect on the wall. However I couldn't find any. I clicked on the bed multiple times, because I didn't realise that the game got reset to a certain point each time. Once I realised and got back to the part were the BUGS are introduced, I swiped the floor and that seemed to be how to finish the game. There were a lot of messages trying to be edgy and break the fourth wall, this can be humourous but it disrupts the gameplay flow. So it's best not to spam the player with messages the entire time. Though the mood was good and I liked the combination of the two artstyles to create contrast.

BattleType by Sebity 2019-05-03T13:39:54Z

So you use your life points to spawn soldiers (Igor & Zoth) and by killing the enemies you gain life points. I tried clicking on Igor and Zoth, but I couldn't get them to spawn. Once the enemies reach the left side they turn into blue smoke, does this also decrease life points?

Piggy Bank ! by FlavienRombouts 2019-05-09T09:27:44Z

Good that you slowly introduce new mechanics and explain them using the levels (instead of text walls), but there are too many tutorial levels. I really liked level 8, but in level 13 & 14 (perhaps others afterwards) the turning is very unresponsive making it quite annoying to play the game.

Lost In Limbo by ariake81 2019-05-02T16:35:17Z

Nice game, but I can't get past the first level (1-1). I would like to control the guy with wasd and the controls are also a bit too sensitive. I managed to get the key and all of the heart, but I didn't know were to go next. Each time I die, I loose a bunch of heart, so how can I get 666 hearts?

Spirit by Connell 2019-05-03T15:37:04Z

Fun game, though I would change it to shoot with the left mouse button since that is kind of the norm. It's good that you introduce new enemies each wave. It's also handy that you can sell upgrades to get some health back, although this wasn't obvious to me from the start. When you introduce the blue enemy, all of the enemies start to bundle up into one big blob, making it hard to survive. I would add some code to make sure that enemies maintain a certain distance from eachother.

EXO by Firesplash Entertainment 2019-05-02T17:22:29Z

A tower defence game is an interesting take on the life is currency theme. Though the 3D FPS element makes it quite difficult to play, since you don't have an overview of the battlefield.

Dusty by jvolonte 2019-05-06T15:58:57Z

It's pretty well balanced and starting off nearly dead is also funny, but I could figure out how to use the altars. The levels are also very big and there it's hard to know were you need to go. I was also unable to access the settinsmenu. The weapons seem to have unlimted ammo, but there is nothing indicating that you actually have unlimited ammo. So in the beginning I switched to a new weapon each time my ammo got low.

Bora Bora Or Bust by WongKongPhooey 2019-04-29T17:59:10Z

Pretty awesome game. Only issue was that the font was hard to read.

Space Pilot by Kaiomoi 2019-05-02T19:23:54Z

I thought that was very interesting that damaging the ship means you don't generate power. However it seemed like loosing one of the four panels immediately stopped all generation, rather than 1/4 is tied to each panel. Sometimes the rotation inverted, but other times it was fine (bug). The wasd input didn't influence the position of the ship very much, so I only used the rotation and the ignition to move around. This was quite clumsy, so maybe wasd can be turned up a notch.

RoShamBo ++ by Von Vista 2019-05-02T14:55:44Z

Nice game, I was mainly trying to figure out how the AI works. It seems to choose the same card multiple again if you lost, but then other times it switches to another card. I notice it mainly doing this with scissors and paper. Though the AI also seems to be better when you gamble more points. I would decrease the starting amount of points, because it takes to long to beat an enemy and give each enemy a certain strategy so that the gameplay mainly revolves around understanding your opponent. It would also be nice if you could just click on a card right away, instead of first having to confirm the betting amount for every turn.

The Bounty Hunter by dk5000p 2019-05-02T15:14:27Z

It's an interesting idea to use voice commands, it's not often used. Unfortunately that's because it doesn't always work. In my case I couldn't get the game to start. I sayed "start" and "say start" and "bounty hunter". Maybe "for f sake just work" is the magic term, but I didn't try that.

Sick Business by very dark lord 2019-05-03T14:24:44Z

Great game, really liked playing it! The humor was great. At one moment there was a dead body laying just outside of the hospital and I figured it wouldn't get moved to the bin, but it did.

HWEY Heist by Hunter Towe 2019-05-07T16:10:39Z

**Press x twice to confirm difficulty** The walking animation was funny and the game as a whole is quite silly. I didn't like the slow movement and the controles were a bit unconventional (normal is wasd and arrow keys, jump with w, up arrow or space). The jumping feels of because he continuously moves at the same speed, he should slow down as he goes up and speed up as he falls down. I started of by going down right but there was this unpassable enemy. Then I went left and up, but after a while I could progress further. I also wasn't a fan of the one tone music. Here's the enemy I couldn't go past:

Slave: Unpaid by Tednesday 2019-04-29T16:54:37Z

I thought that it was a pretty funny game, but it looks quite bad. I don't if that was your intention, but I would make it look a bit better. Also upon game over the game doesn't restart, it just says "game over" on the screen.

Sheep It by anstabo 2019-05-03T12:07:01Z

Great graphics and funny sound effects (mushrooms and sheep)! I was worried that there wouldn't be enough sheep, since a bunch of them fell in between the truck and the bank of the road. However I noticed that they keep respawning, so that was no problem. The broken fence near the cliff that you can kinda fix with the movable fence was funny since sheep kept trying to jump down. The sheep also kept walking in circles and sometimes didn't react to the orange sphere (untill you walk into them). Sometimes the sheep form a very high stack of sheeps, this mainly happens on the bridge and the spawn area near the cliff. I thought that 150 made the game to long. The robots were a good addition, but the game kinda plays itself after that.

Loot Goblin by Zeaga 2019-05-02T19:11:59Z

The art is okay, it's quite a simple game. I would have opted out of the humor instead of the audio, but alright. I am not sure if you can just camp in one of the corners, but I would recommend changing it so that you have a healthbar that is constantly depleting and you have to pick up coins in order to stay alive, whilest avoiding the enemies coming across the screen.

Arrow of Light by sylvie 2019-05-02T17:02:34Z

The shooting mechanic is interestig, but the enemies shoot too fast in order for me to aim miss and then shoot at them to kill them. The art looks good and the music creates a good mood.

Coin Puzzles by Mika la Grand 2019-04-29T17:29:40Z

@von-vista I didn't want to go for a trade health for something kind of game, because that seemed to obvious to me. So you trade health for movement.

@izaacs If you walk over the button, it should trigger. If you can be more specific I can try to recreate it, if it is a bug.

Coin Puzzles by Mika la Grand 2019-05-01T21:01:32Z

A lot of feedback on the button (@erikkire @lemur @tero-pulkkinen @bakenshake). @pokenoufl thanks for the suggestion, I have reduced the amount of coins required to make it a bit easier. @ayama if I am not mistaken you mean Floor is Lava, I agree that that the vertical lava levels are pretty hard. It should now be a bit easier with the reduced requirements.

Coin Puzzles by Mika la Grand 2019-05-01T21:04:38Z

@vinay-rao @jorne I believe you both made it all the way to the last puzzle, which is very impressive! I ran out of time to add more puzzles. I have added one extra level and made it bit easier for other players.

Coin Puzzles by Mika la Grand 2019-05-01T21:09:06Z

@john-snyder I agree that those levels are quite difficult and the jumping is hard to master. If the coins are in an arc there is too much fall damage upon landing, with reduced fall damage you can't jump up to loose coins. So I didn't really have another option.

Coin Puzzles by Mika la Grand 2019-05-03T13:26:21Z

@sebeee The player is literally a bag of coins and the coins also function as your health. In which way does it not fit the theme?

@very-dark-lord You are very dark, the jam build is available in the downloads on the itch pages (v1.0).

@chrissx2 The weight for 0-50% is the same, from 50-100% it linearly increases so that movement is reduced to half. Thanks for the suggestions, I will consider how to better visualise the weight of the bag.

@charlesschar Thanks for the feedback. Can you elaborate on the bugs that you encountered? (I know of the fading issues when there are bunch of things trying to fade)

Coin Puzzles by Mika la Grand 2019-05-04T14:58:56Z

@ryfi Thanks for your perspective, I hadn't thought of it in that way yet. It is true that you don't buy anything with the currency, you just need to have a certain amount at a certain moment in order to progress through the levels. Having the right amount at the right moment is the challenge of the game. The first bonus level is hard, but you can make the jumps (build up some momentum and jump just when you leave the platform). There is also quite some margin for error.

@schizoid2k The button triggers when you enter it's trigger area, when you exit the area the button can be toggled again by entering the area. There should probably be some light on the button indicating when the button is checking for you and when you need to walk away and walk backover the button again.

@samh I created some new bugs in the post-jam version 1.1; but all bugs should now be fixed in version 1.2. The requirements are looser in the post-jam builds; buttons toggle when 80% or more), you can go up fan blowers when 50% or less, you can go down fan blowers when 80% or more. I'll have a look at the exploit for level 6, thanks for letting me know. I was hoping for the theme "side effects", because the current theme is quite similar to the previous one. It also results in a lot of games in which you use health to buy upgrades.

Coin Puzzles by Mika la Grand 2019-05-04T17:59:06Z

Button not working

I just realised that it's not the button that doesn't work. It's the player that doesn't realise that they need to collect the coins in a certain order, because of the fall damage. I'll redesign the first level, maybe add another level before the first button level.

Coin Puzzles by Mika la Grand 2019-05-18T17:59:03Z

Thanks for the feedback guys! I have made the player go up/down fan blowers twice as fast.

The cold by EndSSGamesStudio 2019-04-29T16:42:49Z

I thought that the audio and the mood was really good. However it wasn't clear to me were I was suppose to go. It was very dark and therefor hard to see. There was a counter counting down above the fire, but I don't understand what you're suppose to do.

Noobmancer by IanLux 2019-05-03T16:44:51Z

In the level after the tutorial it is very hard to get up the giant wall, just after the pink door. I understand that you have to place a clone, jump up and then place a second clone. However when I jump up from the first clone this giant tube comes up pushing me away from the wall, making it quite difficult.

Noobmancer by IanLux 2019-05-03T17:01:48Z

@ianlux Thanks for the explanation. I mean the wall just after the pink door (the enemies are yellow that's why I called it the yellow door). So don't worry, no bug.

Dressed in Red by voidfishing 2019-05-10T17:34:10Z

It's certainly quite an interesting game. I do agree with the feedback of @manuel-rauber on the art inconsistency. I would also like to mention that the whole barter things doesn't work well, because you don't know how much you're of from what they want to get. Usually I just payed 20x the blood amount in gold and that seemed fine.

Jukebox Panic! by Kaish 2019-05-07T16:54:28Z

The art and music is great, but I found moving the coins with the mouse frustrating. I was kind of expecting that you control somebody frantically running around trying to collect the coins, kind of like Tapper but than without beer kegs. Since the player is the jukebox, as you poetically say, the jukebox itself would run around.

The Fabulous Wandering of Gorgeous Inconspicuous Piggy Bank 9000: Amazing Pigsy by EvilSock 2019-05-07T19:37:41Z

It would be nice if you explain the controls and how to play the game. **Use spacebar to drop coins.** After dropping a coin, the hammers move towards it. However if you're close to the coin they will still kill you. The art and music was good. Though it was very difficult to get past the enemies, because all of the enemies of the entire level come when you drop a coin. The website with the webplayer is also a sleep.

Force of Nature by Griddolini 2019-05-02T16:54:11Z

The art looks very nice. I can move by clicking the right mouse button and plant trees and do the attacks with the buttons. Planting trees decreases the health, but the health regenerates. How do I harness the energy of the forrest? I tried the attacks on the trees (existing and placed) and on the purple animal, but the meter stayed at 0%.

SHROUD (Synthetic Human, Radiation OUtput Determined) by thevinter 2019-05-08T21:14:13Z

It was a funny game, but with all of the survival elements it becomes more focussed on scavenging rather than the mechanic of selling of pieces of your body. Perhaps you can change it so that you can sell small parts of your body (fingers for example) and let that be the only currency.

Blood Money by kristinamay 2019-05-19T20:22:52Z

It was nice that there was some art to look at. Most text games are just text, making it hard to get immersed. The game was quite short though, but you already said that you're going to expand it. Some music would also be a nice addition.

Fields of Sacrifice by Isvan 2019-05-09T21:54:06Z

Great art, I just wished you added some audio. The movement of the enemies also seems to be a bit buggy and they cluster together a lot.

Thief of Hours by CharlesSchar 2019-05-03T14:44:10Z

The old guys are very quick making it quite difficult and there aren't many allies to hide in.

Me And Sir Knight by anhel 2019-05-10T17:07:25Z

I can't sharpen weapons; because when you want to sharpen a weapon it has the action "handover weapon" selected, if you try to select the sharpen action first all of the items become grayed out since the game things you want to sharpen the item the knight has in his hand (which isn't possible).

Pew Pew Crew! by Jonas Tyroller 2019-05-04T20:28:45Z

The game looks good and the audio is nice, but the ship just becomes impossible to control when you have lost a decent amount of crew. It seemed like the crew that you loose when taking damage favours the crew type that you have selected as ammo. So you can quickly loose all of a certain type of crew member when under attack. I also couldn't quit the game with esc, but that's minor issue. I made the other promising idea we had during the first livestream, in which the player controls a bag of money.

Contract Cleric by Vinay Rao 2019-04-29T19:28:49Z

Phaser's Edge by ComicSans 2019-05-18T17:57:08Z

Phaser's Edge by ComicSans 2019-05-19T20:09:55Z

@comicsans I was using Chrome on Windows 10. I just tried it again, but now there was music. The soundtrack of the start menu is quite nice.

Fair n Square by DaniDev 2019-05-03T16:19:07Z

Hi Dani, I guess we're all plebs at some point. I quite liked your game, though it would be nice if the player can also jump with w or up arrow. I guess now back to that adventure game with the ragdoll walking animations that you're working on!

The Price To Pay by Lshiro 2019-05-11T17:34:35Z

The boss with axe seems to be impossible to jump over without taking damage and the guys shooting arrows were very hard to dodge. I couldn't get past the second guy with the arrows, because it was too hard. You can also partially glitch into walls (by just walking into them). I also agree with @adam-clayden that it's difficult to determine from where you need to attack enemies so that you don't take damage. It would also be nice if there were more checkpoints and ways to regain health.

Peepo's Parlour by Team Kelly 2019-05-09T21:48:38Z

It's a nice game, but I don't know the names of the flavours. Some orders had way too many different flavours and the orders are only visible for a few seconds. On the second day I encountered a bug stopping me from progressing. I once again served the wrong ice cream, but this time the customer didn't leave. I made a new ice cream but I also couldn't give that to him.

Super Annoying Escort Mission by Gideon 2019-04-29T18:23:03Z

It was a pretty good game, not annoying. The pathfinding wasn't great (they just move in a straight line), but what do you expect for 48 hours. However I don't see how it fits the theme.

Sold Soul by Black Flag 2019-05-02T19:43:15Z

To answer your question, if you participate in the compo you have to provide the source code, if you participate in the jam you don't have to. On itch you have to set the resolution to the same width and height as the resolution of your game, otherwise you can only see the entire game in full screen. After doing the dungeon or training the mainmenu displays this black thing on the left.

Schermopname (284).png

I liked the weapon from the training area. Though I didn't like the yellow one in the dungeon, since it had quite a high pitch sound and it wasn't all that effective. It was good that you can aim the weapons with the mouse in 360 degrees, some games have the weapons fire in the direction that you're walking in which isn't great. Weapon ammo seemed to be tided to the weapon; while I expected your health to be the ammo, to fit in with the theme.

Delta Fighter by LiauJ 2019-04-29T17:53:19Z

It's a pretty fun game. I did notice that the sprites for the thrusters don't rotate when you rotate the spaceship, they just float there not attached to anything. Also nothing was depleted from the shooting, the health only decreased when hitting an asteroid. It is also impossible to read the text on the itch.io page, because of the colour choices.

Mr. Lootbox by John Snyder 2019-04-29T22:14:36Z

Perhaps you can expand a bit on the concept. The gameplay is quite limited in variety.

A Cup's Life by Anderssonkev 2019-05-06T17:35:19Z

Good art and animations, level design and music. Only complaint is that the margin for error was pretty much non existant, so it would have been nice if you can revert steps with z instead of redoing parts, but it didn't matter as much since each section wasn't that long. The game was also quite short in general, quality over quantity is not bad though.

TOSSC by Xtra_Festive 2019-05-07T16:26:59Z

I really liked level 4, 5 & 6. In level 8 it is very hard to shoot the guy in the bottom left from the blue guy. In level 9 the aiming is very difficult, because you need to think about the angle and account for the time it takes for the projectile to reach the target. Level 10 & 11 just seemed impossible to me. It was nice though that you get a preview of the levels and that you don't need to complete previous levels to progress (although I didn't need it). It was also good that there wasn't any music, so that you can just focus on the puzzles.

Mosquito Hunter by mharring 2019-05-02T20:28:38Z

Lovely game Michael! The aiming of the tong was quite difficult though, I think it would be easier if you could aim with the mouse. Perhaps you can also make the health deplete a bit slower, because I couldn't get past the first bigger level (I think it is number 3).

Necro-Mart by Lemur 2019-05-02T16:14:05Z

Hi 1’ year old boy, the main menu buttons are cut off when viewing the webplayer not in full screen. I would recommend mainly talking about the controls in the tutorial, because those aren't explained on the page. Regarding the controls, I would make the guy shoot towards the mouse cursor instead of the direction he is facing. Good choice of background music and funny art.

Corporate Hamster by Anandhi 2019-05-21T12:20:42Z

Wait this game is made by five people? I agree with the points made by @firedragis. It seems like the collider of obstacles on the ground is way too big, making the jumping very difficult.

Survival Miner by FlayerWolf 2019-05-02T14:23:25Z

Pretty good for a first game jam. I thought it was interesting that you can kill enemies that are falling through the air by keeping your axe upright (perhaps not intended, but leave it in please). My guy got reset to the starting point multiple times eventhough I still had a lot of points, I thought that those points were also your health? The game was also quite hard at times when a bunch of enemies are all stacked on top of each other.

Flowaz by Harry Damm 2019-04-29T17:02:03Z

I didn't expect a point and click game, but it was well done man!

Kill The Money by Copper_Aardvark_Games 2019-05-07T21:10:31Z

It's a fun platform shooter with good art and music. The enemies telegraph their attacks and there are a bunch of weapons. BUT the enemies take too many hits to kill, you don't take damage when walking into enemies and there is little variaty in the enemies (shoot balls in all direction; orange moves, green doesn't). The bullets are also tied to the coins, so if you run out of coins or are a bit trigger happy, you fail eventhough the enemies didn't defeat you. Furthermore, you can't point upwards or change direction while in the air; meaning that you have to jump, spray bullets and hope some land.

Angry Planet by grllle 2019-05-03T17:51:55Z

Great drawings, though it is hard to see the humans. Maybe you can create more contrast between the planet and the humans, to make it easier to see how many and were they are located on the planet. I also saw that you added the Moon, perhaps the player can slam the Moon into the Earth to get rid of loads of humans at once (while doing damage to the Earth).

Coins life. by Izaacs 2019-05-02T14:34:43Z

Hi nice game. When shooting the pigs its hard to see in which direction I am going to fire a coin, since the coin stack sprite looks the same. I also didn't realise that you could shoot the counterfeit bags of money, so perhaps say "to kill enemies" instead of "to kill pigs". Maybe the counterfeit bags can do some animation before they jump, because I just waited with jumping untill they had. Lastly, you can add some animation for when the player looses a coin.

Blood and goods by selewi 2019-05-04T21:00:58Z

Awesome art and great music. The audio was a bit buggy at times in the webplayer, but perhaps that's not the case in the standalone builds. The enemy stats seem to be random, which is great for replayability. The restarts could be a bit faster though. Perhaps also do more balancing on the enemy stats, because I had a lot of very high stat enemies right from the beginning. Perhaps also tie them in with the upgrades that the player has.

Rogue Money by ayama 2019-05-02T17:54:47Z

Crazy Japanese game. I think the entire budget was spent on the frog creature ;-), but nice game! Maybe you can better explain how the game works: - You collect coins, but can only hold 10. - Enemies can only be killed by coins that are the required value or above, but you can't choose which coins you fire. - You need to achieve a certain amount of total value before the timer is at 0.

Precious Memories by Brigart 2019-04-29T17:13:52Z

It's unclear how to sell good memories and pay for the removal of bad ones. The character also moves across the screen at lightning speed, maybe you can change it to wasd/arrow keys instead of mouse.

Pay Me in Blood by casperj 2019-04-29T19:12:41Z

Great game! Especially the last puzzle was quite challenging. Maybe you make a couple more levels after the jam, because the game was pretty short.

Trash Planet Explorer by Bauke Regnerus 2019-05-20T19:09:06Z

Nice graphics, maybe with some music and sfx it could be a pretty cool game.

Blocks for Life by zep 2019-05-01T17:30:59Z

It's an interesting game. You didn't really describe how to play the game though. Move using the arrow keys, jump using z and place/remove using x. I did find that the controls aren't great on a keyboard. The player also falls very quickly (gravity), making it quite difficult.

Life for Likes by FM Studio 2019-05-08T19:54:25Z

Innovative concept, but pretty difficult. I wasn't a fan of the music, but I could mute it so that was nice.

Cats Against The Society by monkeyDvrus 2019-05-19T13:06:57Z

Pretty funny, but quite a limited amount of questions. Nice graphics, though I was kinda missing a background tune.

D.R.I.E.D. by JasonD 2019-05-04T21:09:37Z

The game has great mood. It's a bit short though, unless you replay it a lot. I took the route along the bottom of the map and made in one go. There is little reason to deviate from the shortest path. Perhaps you can add some icons on some of the movepoints to encourage players to go and explore there.

Blood for Blood by tapehead 2019-05-02T18:47:56Z

Man this game is well polished! I made it all the way to wave 12, but it became too difficult to continue. I did get reset to wave 1 a couple of times after I did some upgrades, so maybe that was a big or I didn't see that my health ran out.

Seeds Of Life by PixScope 2019-05-02T22:16:41Z

After a certain amount of time has passed a green bug flows from the top of the screen and insta kills me eventhough he doesn't hit me. The sound is nice and the concept of sacrifing health for more health in the future is certainly interesting.

The Ends by Memory of God 2019-05-09T21:29:51Z

Pretty unique game, a bit like Papers Please. Though there isn't much of an endgame. I managed to figure out how to survive indefinitely; ie mash only three buttons during the typing so you don't fall a sleep and try to hit every sphere. On the other hand, maybe that is the end game, just endlessly delay the inevitable.

Axed by Flamboozle 2019-05-03T11:25:56Z

Great game, the art looks good and the background tune is nice. I couldn't get the red "regen" to work (did you forget to translate it to "rain"?). It seems like it would be a consumable that the player can activate during the battle, but I can't purchase it.

utsvulten by ditto 2019-05-02T17:33:18Z

It's definitely a weird game! I found it a bit hard to big thinks up, since the hand moves to the mouse position, so you can't just move the cursor on to a grape to pick it up, you have to move it slightly away from it and hope for the fingers to grab it.

Obliteration Station by Dragonstorm1011 2019-05-08T19:49:42Z

Audio would really improve the game. It's also hard to kill enemies because you can't aim.

Blood Mage: Human Sacrifice by tdg_ 2019-05-07T20:41:40Z

I feel like you have made the game more complicated than it needed to be. It's interesting that you sacrifice limbs using card. Though there are too many bars indicating various things and too many abilities of which the player is unfamiliar with.

Boil Them by Sbug 2019-05-22T14:20:53Z

Very nice game, though it would have been nice if there was an ending. Like the townspeople destroying the house if they overrun it.

The Healthy Gladiator by Lone_Wolf 2019-05-02T15:43:23Z

The windows build doesn't work.

The Healthy Gladiator by Lone_Wolf 2019-05-02T15:59:27Z

@lone-wolf I clicked on the github link, it downloads the exe, then I clicked on it, it gives a warning, I say sure I trust lone-wolf, it opens a window and then immediately closes it. The downloaded file is just the "thg_windows_64" exe. Maybe it is missing some files, Unity games come with a bunch of other files in addition to the exe so perhaps the same applies to your engine.

The Healthy Gladiator by Lone_Wolf 2019-05-02T19:03:58Z

@lone-wolf Okay, I managed to get it working. Are sure it isn't easier to make a game in a game engine, instead of explaining to almost everyone how to start the exe? The screen flickers quite a lot, I guess that you push down the old frame by printing a bunch of empty lines at the top of the screen. I guess that I am the red @ and the p's are the enemies. I managed to survive the first round, but died at the second because I didn't really understand what buttons to press. Maybe you can explain when the player should drink the potion and if you should run away or towards the p's.

Feed My Sheep by mmmmGoodDinner 2019-04-30T15:17:17Z

The models looked really nice. The game did run quite poorly on my laptop. I think that the performance of the game was bad, because the grass was too detailed. It was also very hard to see anything at night (even with brightness at max). The first night I was pretty scared for the wolf; but after surviving for 5 days without a sight of a wolf, I stopped playing.

Face to Death by pequenodev 2019-05-18T18:07:38Z

Great graphics and nice controls! Though I didn't understand how the rage mode worked and how you eat humans.

Slice of Scythe by Miyolophone 2019-05-08T20:49:37Z

The math puzzle is bugged; the end answer is 16, but the game says that is wrong. Funny idea though, with nice art and music.

Nine Lives by foxtrotluna 2019-05-11T17:11:19Z

I really wish there was some audio in the game. It would have also been nice if the movement was grid based, because now it was a bit clucky at times. I think I got all of the endings, finding the sword was definitely the hardest. After you give the boy his sword, the collider of the sword prevents you from walking to the area above the boy (though there is nothing there anyway). The art was very much in the gameboy style and the humor was on point.

LD45 — Start with nothing

Unlock Everything by DDRKirbyISQ 2019-10-11T17:33:56Z

The difficulty ramps up very quickly in stage 2 and 3; luckily there are plenty of checkpoints. In stage 3 there is a part with two spinning gears, a cannon and a backwards conveyor belt; which is waaay too difficult. The boss fight is also very hard. Though, I did eventually manage to beat the game and unlock the credits. Is says "to be continued", so are you gonna keep working on the game?

Snowball by nusan 2019-10-19T18:52:49Z

Wow, well done! Innovative approach to the theme and fun gameplay. Though, the snowball can be a bit bouncy at times. My final score was 726.

Thanks for Nothing by PhilStrahl 2019-10-15T16:07:55Z

Great humour Phil! I got all of the endings: 1 (no items), 2 (one items) and 3 (multiple items), but with the second ending it doesn't say 2/3 at the last text block. It's also annoying that the game quits when you press space (to play again) if you already finished before.

The Defective Detective by Polyethyleneglykol 2019-10-14T15:54:56Z

You probably should disclose that the models are made by Synty Studios. I didn't participate in the jam, so I can't see your rating categories. However, the rules state that you should opt out of the respected voting categories for which you're using previously created assets.

The Defective Detective by Polyethyleneglykol 2019-10-15T14:46:36Z

@polyethyleneglykol I made the comment, because it's not mentioned on the Ludum Dare page. Most people will never look at the credits.

LD46 — Keep it alive

HEAL ME PLZ by Pietro Ferrantelli 2020-05-02T21:11:52Z

Fun game and quite polished. Though, I couldn't quite get the progress bar (in the top right) all the way to the end (~80%). Towards the end, there is just too much going on. I noticed that the heroes just shoot the player when you stand between them and the enemy, which feels a bit broken. I also not a fan of the click and hold to move; I would just like to move with wasd. Lastly, there is no feedback when you're healing an enemy; it looks exactly the same as when you're healing a hero. This is especially an issue when there is a lot going on and everyone is standing close together.

Gophers by randomhuman 2020-04-22T17:18:04Z

I was really liking the game, but then I got stuck. I was setting up the antenna just to the right of the bunker entrance, but I just couldn't get 5 bars of signal. There was also no way to stop the searching mini game. Perhaps you can also turn up the volume a bit, I had to crank my pc up to 100% just to hear some stuff. Schermopname (541).png

Cat Dad Redemption by Riftpoint Entertainment 2020-05-13T16:28:24Z

Quite challenging control scheme and great voice overs. Though, the first level with four enemies was quite difficult and also bugged most of the time; the last guy goes down in one shot and then the level freezes. I did eventually manage to continue. I got all the way to the second level with four enemies (that require two bullets each). I like how you can one shot the guy by shooting the bottle, but this level was too difficult for me.

Keeping SNES Alive! by drludos 2020-04-22T17:55:21Z

Interesting, I didn't know you could still make games for the SNES. The sound isn't great, but the movement is pretty fun.

The Messenger Assist by graebor 2020-04-26T17:16:45Z

Great art, but I would like a toggle for the motion blurr. The voice acting was also pretty decent. Though, it was pretty hard to understand what needed to be done. I couldn't figure out how to fix the auxiliary power issue (second issue). The mouse sensitivity was also very high; I had to turn it down to 25%.

Efi by ludipe 2020-04-22T19:08:58Z

Fun game, I especially like the effect you're using along the outline of the world. Showing the bird when it failed, until the player presses space is also great. At the end, you mention that the music was made by Faizyr, do you have a link to the music?

Keeper of the Flame by nickavv 2020-04-23T19:41:03Z

Good game, I like it. I made it to "updraft", but having to redo that level a bunch gets frustrating. Maybe you can remove some of the sprayers at the end, to make it a bit easier.

Keep It Alive by danman9914 2020-04-21T09:03:40Z

Wow, that was a lot a fun. The heart did die on my trip, so I couldn't save her. I guess there is another ending for when it is alive. It would be nice if you could revert to before it died.

jumpgolf by torcado 2020-04-22T15:52:19Z

Getting Over It is a bit like Jumpgolf. It does get easier the more you play it, but I couldn't get past the area pictured below. I like how there is no tutorial, but that the level design teaches the player. Though, I don't see the theme in your game. Schermopname (540).png

Stoker by disperse 2020-05-01T21:56:23Z

The art is good, but I would have left out the ground part in the foreground and just had rails; now it looks a bit weird. The music is great, but the train noise is a bit too loud. The pickup sounds are also very high pitch. Now on to the gameplay. I like how there are multiple loops with the boiler and the explosives, but the train is too long. It takes to much time to find the explosive and keep ~~running~~ walking back to the boiler. I also noticed that there isn't any grace jumping. Could you also link to the individual sfx's? I quite like the train sounds and I'm working on a train game as well.

The Keep! It's Alive! by minibobbo 2020-05-01T20:29:30Z

Fun game with a good dose of humor! I liked the music, but it restarts every time you go the next level; I would like it to just continue playing between the levels. The levels with a lot of enemies were also a bit difficult, because you can only pick up one guy at a time. I managed to beat all of the levels, but the last couple were quite hard.

The Gentleman by micahlg 2020-05-13T15:28:25Z

Pretty fun, I managed a score of 3375. The upgrades are a nice touch.

DUNDER by nuclearfriend 2020-04-21T16:04:40Z

The great game, though the puzzle can be quite difficult. Also, I encountered a bug in the level pictured below. I placed the block (look for blue lines) and can't move it any more or deleted. I tried it with the other blocks and they didn't have the same issue, so I guess it has to do with that exact spot. Schermopname (539).png

Arctik Panik by Kiddoo 2020-04-23T09:48:54Z

The art looks good and the music is nice. I can confirm that it does work with a PS4 controller (using DS4), but the camera just spins around indefinitely with no user input. Everything else seems to work just fine. Though, I don't understand why you only implemented controller support. Most start with keyboard controls and then add controller support later on. It's a bit like asking a console player to plug in a keyboard.

ADRENA-LINE by managore 2020-04-21T08:25:23Z

Well done Daniel, the game is a lot of fun to play. My best score is 22. The game is really easy to understand, there is nothing complicated that gets in the way. The only thing I didn't understand, was what "diff" means.

Fuel Onward! by Drury 2020-05-11T16:45:23Z

Alright I did three runs: * Medium to fast: got to the storm, but ran out of coal. * Slow: no storm and ran out of coal. * Fast: finished the game.

It's not very obvious to the player that they **need to go fast**; only that the pressure shouldn't go into the red. Though, I do like how you have to burn the deck after the coal has run out. The art is really nice as well. Though, the movement speed is a bit fast, and the game doesn't restart when you jump overboard.

The Ludum Dare Flame 🔥 by tobiasw 2020-04-26T14:33:18Z

Pretty fun, I wanted to grow the forest a bit. So, I decided to stoke the fire to 50. That meant nobody had time to chop down trees, and the forest grew from 10 to 33. The moment we reached 50 and I stopped stoking the fire, it fell back down to 10 XD.

Interstellar Connection by celia14 2020-04-28T17:47:54Z

Well done girls, great work. The music creates a lovely mood and the combination of the puzzles with the story works well. It also seems like the puzzles are randomly generated, which is a nice touch as well.

Tetralon by frosty 2020-05-11T17:09:14Z

Let me start off by saying that **diagonals are not included**. I'm not sure why you say they are, because diagonal walls don't count as connections. The majority of the time I played, I didn't understand the game just because you said that diagonals were included even though they aren't. Once I had figured that out, the game was actually quite fun. Though, I wish that blocks would have four rotations (full rotation) instead of the two rotations (one horizontal and one vertical).

Human Spiderweb by miziziziz 2020-04-20T21:55:16Z

The concept is pretty damn interesting and the mood is good. However, the camera is a bit shit. In the levels with two controllable guys, often one of the guys will be off screen (even if you're controlling him). Though, I think this only happens with the guy you control with E. I made it to the level where you have to use multiple eye scanners; the margin for error with the blood was simply to small.

Katastrophe by Yeti Kid 2020-04-23T07:35:33Z

Nice game, I'm just not a fan of permadeath. I like how you can kill turrets with their own bullets, though it is pretty hard to aim. It is doable in level 2, but in level 3 I just made a run for it. I made it to level 4.

Feed Me by lexi 2020-04-22T10:49:53Z

Funny and easy to understand. Though, adding some colliders to the edge of the world be a good idea.

Dog's Best Friend by MattWoelk 2020-04-22T16:11:39Z

The combination of 2D and 3D is pretty interesting. I also appreciate that you can unlimitely revive the main character, otherwise the game would be quite hard. Maybe the barking can also interact with the enemies, now I really just feel like a medic.

A Cold Walk Home by Stefanie Leitch 2020-04-24T16:34:56Z

Nice story, but quite grindy gameplay. The end boss also has too much health and was difficult to hit. The music didn't have a very long loop, but it added to the mood. Overall pretty good game, especially for 2 days.

A Support's Burden by TomBuston 2020-04-22T20:23:26Z

That was a lot fun! Though, I found the level with the two arrow shooters to be too difficult. There was also a level where you needed to cross three spikes in a row and the plank was only two tiles wide, but it was fine (?). Overall, a pretty nice game.

Tiny Fragments by Daniel Moreno 2020-04-21T08:35:08Z

The puzzles and mechanics are great. Though, there is a bit of a difficulty spike at level 7. I also wasn't a fan of the music (luckily there was a toggle button), but without the music there is no sound.

Egdar's Blobs by Noa Calice 2020-04-21T08:01:36Z

The physics with the wheel in level 3 are bad; it can easily get stuck in a spot below the wheel where it can't be moved anymore. After a lot of attempts I got to level 4, which is just too frustrating. The post processing is also a bit much for my liking. Though, the squishy sounds are nice.

No Fish To Die by dillonbecker 2020-04-22T11:21:01Z

Everything is great except for the difficulty. The difficulty is way too high (for me at least), which kills all the fun that could be had. I tried the second level for a while, quit the game and then saw that you could **throw the fish**. Yeah, you might want to make that more clear. I did eventually make it to level 3, but I just couldn't make the jump to the platform where the fish is temporarily stored. I also saw that you made a voice pack with 500+ files, what a coincidence as I actually needed some voice lines. Anyway, I would appreciate it if the difficulty can be a bit less, say 5 seconds instead of 3 seconds.

HareFare by Gumboot 2020-04-22T17:06:36Z

Nice graphics, but bad controls (on a keyboard at least). I would like to control the rotation around the vertical axis with AD (rudder) instead of the rotation of the plane around its axis. ATM it's just way too difficult. Regarding the game mechanics, I didn't get feedback if I was dropping the water correctly and I didn't know how to refill the water tank. Also, the sound didn't work (I'm on Windows 64 bits).

Package Panic: Always On Time by soldierbear 2020-05-02T15:19:37Z

Nice graphics, but the game runs really poorly on my pc. Yeah I have Integrated Graphics, but it does run most 3D games just fine. I didn't see anything that required a lot of processing; perhaps there are just a lot of objects in the scene?

Desktop Garden by 0x0 2020-04-24T16:41:06Z

Pretty interesting, I wonder how you guys pulled this off with the windows. It's kind of an evolution of windowframe (ld 35).

🐱 Cat Fun Factory by gamescodedogs 2020-04-26T13:35:58Z

I fully agree with the remarks made by @tobiasw; cats are cute, but they don't make a game. * The tutorial isn't clear on how to build roads * Building roads is clunky because they don't auto update (player has to manually fix connections to machines) * The sprites of the machines make it hard to understand how to align them * The special splitters should be locked until you have unlocked a survey machine * Theme connection isn't there

Drop the egg Jeff by Dextreon 2020-05-01T20:49:18Z

I didn't know that mad scientists could retire ;-). The web build takes quite a long time to start (after the loading screen), so you probably want to mention that on the itch page. I agree with the other comments that the controls need ~~some~~ a lot of work. One of the things not mentioned by others is that the egg should rotate with you as you change the direction of the character. Otherwise it just becomes way too hard. I made it to the blue area, I couldn't get past the first obstacle there. The music is nice, but the audio goes nuts each time the scene is reloaded. I would also like some some patchnotes, so that I know what has been improved.

A Night In The Dark by lectvs 2020-04-27T12:01:22Z

Nice game, but I couldn't figure out how to kill the enemy. Some sound would also help the mood, will this be added post-jam? Perhaps the axe and torch can glow in the dark as well. Currently you're pretty much screwed if you loose them.

Dr. Noir by UnidayStudio 2020-05-02T16:30:23Z

Having to click through the donate menu is pretty annoying as it is, but asking for $8 is just ridiculous. The concept of the game is quite interesting, but some of the side effects just break the game completely (from a gameplay perspective). Messing up the controls just frustrates the player, and there is no point after the colours are disabled.

MACHINA by Harry Alissavakis 2020-04-22T18:14:17Z

The intro was a bit long, so I skipped through the later half. The game wasn't too difficult to pick up. Maybe you can just focus on the gameplay and start the story from the second level. Speaking of the second level. In the second round (on the second level) there was this enemy which I just couldn't attack, so I died (see the picture below). Overall the game was pretty nice, but selecting the fields for an attack doesn't always work the way you want it too. Sometimes it also registers a field selection when I'm clicking the card (quite annoying). There is also no option to cancel out of a card. Schermopname (542)_LI.jpg

Keep IT Alive by f4kethis 2020-04-22T21:07:53Z

Okay, so the demon has to eat the people but there is a limited amount of people. Doesn't that mean you'll always loose eventually? I did like the art, but the controls could be improved. I would like to move with WASD and have to the camera just follow me. You could also add zooming to the camera, so that the player can still get an overview of the world.

Solais by dragonxvi 2020-04-26T14:46:52Z

Really interesting mechanics, but quite difficult indeed. I like how you can re-light the torch and burn certain blocks. I made it to the room pictured below. The top part is too difficult. Schermopname (544).png

Lone Soldier by Mau Zer 2020-04-22T10:38:06Z

I would recommend making all the assets yourself or only using assets. The artstyle is inconsistent, if you use both. You also have to link to the individual sound assets, you can't just link to freesound.org.

Lost Island by JPiolho 2020-04-20T22:05:59Z

The art and music are nice, but I don't know how to cut down trees. Where do I get an axe? Also, the controls are not mentioned anywhere. WASD to move is easy to pick up, but I can't figure out the rest of the controls.

Embers by Anuke 2020-04-21T10:37:26Z

Great art and music, but I couldn't figure out how to make an axe. There are small rocks and big rocks. I guess that only the small ones can be used for an axe, so why not only have small rocks? (to make it more clear) I now see that there is a gif on the ld page about the axe (I found the game through itch); maybe you can add that to the itch page as well.

Embers by Anuke 2020-04-24T15:40:47Z

I forgot to rate the game, so I had to play it again. This time I managed to make the axe. I found the issue; I was trying to combine a stick (in my hands) with a rock on the ground, while you can only combine a rock (in my hands) with a stick on the ground. See how that doesn't make any sense.

Where the Fire Goes by Roka Josh 2020-04-22T16:56:23Z

Nice idea and overall pretty thought out mechanics. Though, some keyboard controls would be great. Some of the levels also seemed a bit out of place, there wasn't a clear flow between the levels. I would start off be introducing the concept of keeping ourself alive and then the mechanics revolving around the environment. I also found level 8 to be too difficult.

Tyson Lee: KEEP IT ALIVE EDITION by CPTN-B 2020-05-03T18:25:51Z

Why is it in a secret url? You can be proud of your work. Anyway, I have some experience with logic gates, but I can imagine it being quite difficult for others. My main complaint is that there is no feedback when you complete the puzzle. The player has to simulate the system themselves and then check in the main menu if it worked. I was able to complete the first two with relative ease, and I guess that the other two can be solved with flip flops. However, flip flops are not that easy to understand (especially if you don't even know logic gates). So, I would have left those puzzles out. Some sound would also be a good addition.

The Seeker by GeorgeBroussard 2020-05-03T18:48:10Z

Great game, but it can be a bit difficult. I made it through the mountain, but then died in the flat part. Also, I would like it if the crt effect could be toned down a little. Did you make all of the effects yourself? Since you're not linking to anything, but audio isn't mentioned in the credits part (code, art and design) on the page.

Keep Boner Alive by rubyleehs 2020-05-03T18:36:01Z

Kinda funny how the legs strecth and detach, but not my cup of tea.

Keep It Alive top-down shooter by kkrac 2020-04-24T15:54:55Z

I agree with @stefanie-leitch on the shape of the map, making it a square would be better. I also found it hard to see how much health I had left.

Oak Defenders by Hugimugi7 2020-04-26T13:57:41Z

Pretty fun, but it was confusing that the tree didn't grow automatically. I first had to hold down S, and then it worked fine every time after that (without me holding down S). So, the unlocking of new slots and new tower types is confusing until you try to grow the main tree. Also the 'towers' are purchased with dollars, but the dollar amount the player has isn't displayed, and I wonder why this isn't done with the resources you collect already for the main tree. I did manage to complete the game, but it was quite difficult since I only started growing the main tree from round 3.

Plants'N'Ants by Mads 2020-04-22T20:02:00Z

Okay, I was expecting there to be aliens coming to the planet to attack it. So, I was like "Where are the enemies is this game also bugged?" XD. Yes yes, I know it says "Ants" in the title, but who says it can't be space ants? On to the game. I would like to drag by holding down the RMB, since I'm already placing plants with the LMB. Also, I didn't really understand how you can change the type of plant you're seeding. It seems that you have to click on a plant on the world to select that species. This means you first have to find it somewhere and I think most people expect this to be done through the UI. I did like the music and the star background though.

Tower Defence of the Heart by terry 2020-04-23T16:56:07Z

Yeah, it's a tower defence game. The music is nice, but I don't think you're allowed to use copyrighted music. You're also not even mentioning the name of the song and a link to the midi cover. I believe you're using this version (https://bitmidi.com/bonnie-tyler-total-eclipse-of-the-heart-mid), but slowed down a bit.

Waifus please by colozz 2020-04-27T11:51:04Z

The game is too similiar to Papers Please. You didn't really differentiate the game. It also doesn't make sense that a border guard is judging features and developers.

Waifus please by colozz 2020-04-27T12:03:30Z

@colozz I made it to day five, but never got enough money to buy the lootbox (no errors most days). I guess the waifus are in the boxes?

Waifus please by colozz 2020-04-27T12:29:28Z

@colozz Yeah, I saw that. However, at most I had $20 and the lootbox was $25.

Super Stick Party by Nehvis 2020-04-21T08:43:29Z

Pretty fun, the mood is good. Though, the volume of the drinking sfx's could be turned down a bit and I didn't understand why people where puking (I gave almost everybody the right drink). I also like how the difficulty increases with the coats. There is probably more stuff, but I only made it to day two.

Corposprint by SaRNEh 2020-04-21T08:13:59Z

The art and animations are nice, but the game is interrupted for way too when you walk into shit or get hit by a plant. Also, when you're walking in the crowds, the guy constantly stops walking. Maybe he can just slow down inside (if this was your intention). The falling plants also allow you to hack jump you're way through. Though, I did manage to complete the game.

Xeno Tender by _delph 2020-05-01T22:29:31Z

I took too many naps and the creature turned into a rock XD. Perhaps you could add some more feedback; I really didn't know when to perform which action. The game also froze when the time had run out (first creature). I guess this was because I failed, but there was no game over screen.

Hope by Darylsteak 2020-04-24T13:26:44Z

Pretty good game, the puzzles are challenging but I could manage. I accidently played the version before the fix, since only the old version can be downloaded on itch. Maybe you can upload the fixed one on itch as well. The movement speed is pretty slow, I would make the run speed the standard speed. The ladders are pretty clunky, since it's easy the fall off and hard to go over at the top. I would like to move up and down the later, instead of fall down along the ladder and climb up. In the end, I made it to the fuel depot. I felt like I really needed to struggle with the game (because of the enemies), so there wasn't much fun anymore.

Perish alive by Lyrcaxis 2020-05-01T22:21:04Z

The concept, art and music are nice, but I would definitely recommend adding a tutorial. For new players: start by building the coral room, then the pearl room, then the energy room and then you can build the weapon room and pilot room. Adding a restart button would also be great, now I have to reload the page and wait through the really long loading screen. Also, shooting and healing should really be automated.

Perish alive by Lyrcaxis 2020-05-09T17:17:44Z

@haiyoooo Having to manually heal and fire gets frustrating, since it's such a menial task. After all, the focus is on building and upgrading the sub. Perhaps it can be an upgrade so that it feels like progression.

Wanted: Alive! by Dan Colman 2020-04-24T16:02:16Z

Interesting idea and good execution. At first I thought that you forgot to mention that the player can aim and shoot with the mouse, but you can't haha. Maybe you can add some ui about the dash cooldown.

The Empty Cone by Acr515 2020-04-26T19:27:36Z

Pretty hilarious! The twist is great. My main complaint is the topping station, it's not easy to select the right topping. My other complaint is that there is no bin to dump incorrect ice creams into. I know that you can just make another and it overwrites the current one, but that doesn't make sense to new players. I made it to the end of day 4. Also @epicular, why is Godot is better than GameMaker?

On Air by Beebo Studios 2020-04-27T12:28:22Z

Pretty fun and nice art. My main complaint is that you have to refill the fire extinguisher, which isn't that obvious. You're also displaying the controls incorrectly, it's actually S to pick up and A to use.

The Shopkeeper by Azathothep 2020-04-29T14:50:23Z

Yeah, I agree with @ribout-horace. The mood is good, but it's hard to understand how to play the game. I read the tutorial before hand, but it was quite long and didn't make it very clear. I made it pretty far ($3500+) by matching items with the capital words in their requests, but didn't know what the impact of assigning one item over the other was. The camera effect also makes it hard to read certain text. Though, I do like the highlight effect on the UI buttons.

Robot Battery Dig by devharts 2020-05-11T16:04:54Z

Good that there is a highscore system, but the game relies too heavily on RNG. Some animations (even fading) would help make the digging less jarring. Also, @minibobbo says that the same blocks next to eachother will all be destroyed at once; I didn't realise that while playing the game.

Kardiossomatic by NeitherNathan 2020-05-02T16:09:39Z

Pretty interesting idea to say the least, but the end goal wasn't clear to me. Perhaps you can do more with the music players. The player picks up the red chess pieces to increase the heart rate, but needs to make sure that it doesn't get a heart attack. It took quite a few attempt, before I got the hang of the game. Eventually, I reached the part where you get a heart attack and took the route to the left; only to die right in front of the next chess piece. So, perhaps the margin for error can be improved a bit as well.

Open Fire! by Amazura 2020-04-25T13:55:52Z

For a game that seems so simple, it took quite some time to understand it. Maybe the bars can drop down slower and the game can just reset when they all drop to zero. I did eventually manage to beat it, but I would have liked the visuals to be reflective of what the player is doing. If the bar drops to zero, why not let the guy die (that happens after the round anyway)?

Lamps by qkjosh 2020-05-12T18:26:21Z

The mechanic with the barking and the lamps is quite interesing. Though, it's pretty much game over when your light bulb runs out. I read the hints after playing the game, and I don't think that *talking to the ghosts* is an intuitive way to refill the bulb (after you run out of the pick ups). It's also impossible if you're in a room that doesn't have a ghost. Perhaps the bulb can just have a minimum amount of light in it. The falling over of the lamps is funny, but they do get in the way. It can sometimes be quite hard to spot the doors as well. I got pretty far I think (the camera effect got quite intense), but eventually ran out of light bulb juice.

Place me back by Nyunesu 2020-04-22T16:17:24Z

Nice game, I like how much you were able to do with one button. Though, some sound would be a welcome addition.

Keep It Alive by Ismael Rodriguez - Ludum Dare 46 by Ismael Rodriguez 2020-05-13T14:51:24Z

Quite a lot of fun! I managed to reconnect the mind and the body. Though, it was a bit difficult to figure out the mechanic where you shoot from a bubble and open a gate at the same time.

Keep It Alive by Ismael Rodriguez - Ludum Dare 46 by Ismael Rodriguez 2020-05-13T14:53:52Z

Final Flower: Petals of a Lost Age by Scott Steffes 2020-05-03T20:42:55Z

Overall pretty good game, I especially like the concept. My feedback: * Good that you can quickly restart with space (jump). * Shooting enemies that disable the grabber is interesting. * My main complaints are that there is no grace jumping and that the walls are very sticky. * I would like to jump with W. Others will probably also appreciate support for the arrow keys. * Level 8, 9 and 10 were too difficult/frustrating (mainly frustrating). The jumping enemies are also a bit over powered.

Keep it afloat! by Maka 2020-04-21T10:25:09Z

Nice art, but there wasn't any sound when I played the game. There were also no enemy ship, so it seems like something is bugged.

Noble by SludgeKey 2020-04-23T07:52:34Z

So, grannies can marry with teens, but incest is not possible? I think that is what would make it interesting. You have to do some incest, but not too much or the family dies. Anyway, the portraits are nice, but some music would help the mood quite a bit. It is also very hard to keep a wide tree going, because so much is off screen or very small if you zoom out. Another issue is that when you drag a portrait it doesn't stick quite fully below the mouse. You want to drag the portrait on to another portrait, but instead you have to pay attention to where the mouse cursor is.

Sunlit by palsina 2020-04-21T16:40:42Z

Nice relaxing game, I played until a height of 101. The squirrel was a nice touch as well. Though, I did notice that branches occasionally went through solid obstacles.

Keep Her Light by arche-san 2020-05-01T21:30:51Z

I couldn't get the web build to load in chrome (Windows 10), so I played the post jam version. Perhaps you could add some patchnotes, to let us know what has been improved. The art, music and mood are great, but there isn't enough player feedback for my liking. I clicked on everything in the apartment, but could get the story to progress much. I got her off the couch and in front of the cupboard to the right. Clicking all the items did reveal what happened. Is that the end or is there some kind of resolution?

Slimekeep by BenBonk 2020-05-08T19:28:28Z

Good that there is feedback when you kill an enemy or get hit yourself. Though, I still wish there was more colour variety. Also, the best strategy is just to run around in circles; which gets repetitive quite quickly. I didn't understand what the void thingy does. Lastly, the enemies keep attack after the game is already over.

Zoo keeper by Team-on 2020-05-03T20:08:15Z

The different minigames are quite enjoyable. Though, the timer bar could be a bit thicker. I didn't unlock everything first try. So, I hit play again and eventually managed to beat all of the games in a row. However, the map didn't update; I think only the ones that I originally unlocked were unlocked. The panda minigame was also confusing; I have no clue how I actually managed to beat it. Lastly, the music loop is pretty short which does get annoying if you're paying attention to it.

Snowy Night by Roalinn 2020-05-01T20:04:02Z

Nice game, good atmosphere. I like that it was easy to understand what the goal was. Though, you should probably **opt out of audio**, since you didn't make any of it yourself. It would also be nice if you linked to the individual sfx's, in case someone else wants to find them.

Friendly Fire by very dark lord 2020-04-26T13:12:24Z

That was fun, great story. Now I'm left wondering what happens when you say "yes", at the end when he asks you to help him again.

Mouse Trap by monetai 2020-04-26T17:35:36Z

Pretty fun, I believe I made on my third attempt (by sheer luck). I think randomising the layout each time the player wins could create some replayability.

Blood and Snow by Mika la Grand 2020-04-21T09:57:38Z

@kwaku Thanks for the feedback. If the rifle is holstered, you can chop trees by clicking on them. I've added it to the list of tips.

Blood and Snow by Mika la Grand 2020-04-22T19:52:10Z

@m0dsat Yeah, lot's of people decided to shoot Emily. Originally I just wanted the hit sound to play when you hit her. So, I added the health script that also runs on the deer, but then I forgot about it and didn't realise you could kill her. Though, now it's fixed so that she'll first say "ouch" and on the second hit she'll die and the player gets a game over screen.

Blood and Snow by Mika la Grand 2020-04-22T20:39:51Z

@duck-reaction Thanks for the feedback. Did you notice that you can zoom in with the scroll wheel or do you mean zoom in even further? @f4kethis The supplies get dropped of automatically as you walk into the cabin. There is a little victory sound to go with it, but in the next patch the UI will also blink or something to let the player know.

Blood and Snow by Mika la Grand 2020-04-22T21:56:51Z

@blue-pin-studio Yeah, that is true. My idea was that the deer would run for a bit after you shot them and leave a blood trail, but then I ran out of time. I'm gonna work on the deer some more and make them a bit more challenging as well. There are also no snow particles for the "snow storm", but ssh haha.

Blood and Snow by Mika la Grand 2020-04-26T14:50:51Z

@tsombi100 Thanks for the feedback. The player needs to be in range to cut down the trees and click on the bottom half of the tree. There is an error sound if you're doing something wrong and there is also text telling you what's wrong (like "My arms aren't that long"). Could you elaborate further on your point?

Blood and Snow by Mika la Grand 2020-04-26T16:54:48Z

@duke Thanks for the feedback. Yeah corners were cut with the art and animations, but I still think it's some of my best work. I do want to add more depth with the existing mechanics. I was thinking of adding abandoned cabins with unlockable items like a lamp (for at night) and a coat (to increase the time outside). Maybe add wolves as well, which would be attracted by deer carcasses.

Blood and Snow by Mika la Grand 2020-04-27T08:43:04Z

@zebraatomica @stolen-biscuit @belowzerogames Thanks for the feedback and the bug report. I'll improve the game some more.

Blood and Snow by Mika la Grand 2020-05-01T20:54:09Z

@daimilodev @juan-ignacio-ranedo @nicolasjl9 @moritz-jaeger Could you give some more feedback next time? Mention something you like and why you like it. In addition, to something that you think could be improved.

Entitled Kaiju Game by Moritz Jaeger 2020-05-01T21:03:24Z

It's quite hard to aim the buildings at the heli's, because there is no UI indicator. I would also like to pick up buildings by pressing a keyboard button (based on vicinity to buildings). The camera panning also takes away control from the player, which isn't great.

Mammoth Expedition by Abdurrahman Khallouf 2020-05-03T19:51:32Z

Alright here's my feedback: * The mood is really good with the wind and the fire. Can you link to the sfx's you used? * The decision making is good, but the buttons are quite small and I don't like the font. There are also a lot of capitalization errors, and some typos. * Main complaint is that it takes too long to complete. 15 min would have been better than around half an hour. I beat the game first try, but wouldn't have retried if I failed. * There isn't anything going on other than the text. I would some visuals, like a mineshaft showing the progress towards the mammoth. Perhaps have something resembling the camp as well.

Brain Training 101 by DigitalLimestone 2020-04-24T15:24:56Z

Interesting concept, but there is too much going on. The controls are also all over the place, which doesn't make it any easier. I would do something like A, S, D and J, K, L.

HYPERHOP: GALACTIC LANCER by Swanijam 2020-05-02T15:49:52Z

The graphics and mood are good, but I couldn't figure out how to destroy the planets. There are these arrows on the planets pointing towards the bottom of the planet, but nothing happens when you hit the bottom. After a while, I tried hitting these arrows (which later turned out to be hearts). However, it was too difficult to hit them as the planet moves around a lot and the control over the movement of the player isn't great. The player also needs to be very close to the planet, which doesn't help either.

Keep them alive by Bajtix 2020-04-22T21:34:40Z

The controls outside of the building don't seem to work very well. They go full lock to the left (in my case). I also found it quite difficult to aim.

Dance Dance Unicorn of Magic! by Kagerowo 2020-04-26T18:49:36Z

The game doesn't load properly on chrome Windows 10. After the loading, there is a black screen with a barely visible crosshair. Nvm, as I was typing this it loaded.

Dance Dance Unicorn of Magic! by Kagerowo 2020-04-26T19:02:34Z

I agree with @epicular. There are lot of things that aren't obvious or mentioned anywhere: * You can pick up the horse and move around the whole map (not just the little starting square) * There are bonus multiplier areas (blue circles) * There are weapon upgrades (globe icons)

There's also the massive exploit were you just run around with the horse in your arms. That's pretty much how I managed to get a score of 7150. The loading times were also very bad if I look at what is on screen. Perhaps you can optimize the game a bit in that aspect.

platformEGG by Tricky_Fat_Cat 2020-04-22T16:26:57Z

Nice game, but the difficulty increases quickly. I would have liked a checkpoint at the start of each level, rather than this permadeath system. I made it to the level with the swinging spike balls. Though, the level before it with the saw blades was quite difficult as well.

Constance by Oakwarrior 2020-05-03T17:50:24Z

Interesting idea, but a bit confusing. I started in the web build, but couldn't figure it out since the UI at the top is cut off. So, then I downloaded the game. I thought that you had to knock out the guys walking around, but instead you can only drag the blue guys. Avoiding the patrolling enemies is quite hard, since their behaviour is unpredictable. This makes it very frustrating if you loose, after finally making some progress. Perhaps the penalty for detection can be something else.

Now, I did somewhat understand how to do the surgery; cut off pieces from both guys and then swap them. However, I didn't know which parts needed to be swapped. All of the parts on Henry looked just fine, so maybe the parts that need to be replaced can look rotten. Also, the decay bar wasn't clear to me. Does this relate to Henry or the body I'm dragging? Should it fill up or go down?

Crumbling Home by Becher 2020-04-21T16:18:44Z

The art is nice, but there is no end goal. Maybe there can be a highscore system? Some sound would also be great.

Seven Nights by bigwhiteshogun 2020-04-23T20:16:21Z

The art and music are great, but the game is hard to understand. I've figured out that you select an item in the inventory and then press 1,2,3 to equip it, and equip the stick as a weapon to kill enemies. I couldn't figure out how to access the crafting bench, but this is *obviously* done with space (not enter). So, for the recipes I just have to try every possible combination to discover them? That seems like a lot of grinding. I tried a bunch, but couldn't discover any. Now I also don't know what I need to collect to make anything or what things I can make in the first place. I think I had around six different items: stick, note, leaf, some flora and the green enemy.

Bonfire by OrnitierVivi 2020-04-26T18:12:48Z

The link still doesn't work guys.

Remember, Apollo by AdamCYounis 2020-05-12T17:43:55Z

The mechanic is pretty interesting and the art is nice. To be honest, I skipped over most of the story, because it was just too much to read. Voice over would have been great (though hard to do in the limited time), or just less text overall. My take away was that I was hunting this deer through the forest, but when I killed it this also killed my girlfriend named Apollo (or she died while I was away). I think there was some ambience sound, but I missed most of it since the volume is quite low.

FIREGUARD by Puszkee 2020-04-21T08:49:28Z

I really like how you can light sticks in the fire and then shoot them at enemies. However, there are a lot of enemies and not that many sticks. I figured that burning down trees would result in more sticks, but this didn't seem to be the case.

Slime Mama by Jack Kaloger 2020-05-12T18:07:22Z

Pretty fun, but very hard. The best I could manage was 40% of the bar filled. I do like how you respawn from the mama slime. The throwing mechanic with the slime on the ground was interesting, but it didn't always work properly. So, I often still had to walk closer to mama anyway. It also took quite some time before I discovered the mechanic in the first place. Also, jumping with W would have been nice. I didn't check for grace jumping, but definitely add that as well (if it isn't in the game already).

Turtle Daddy by dummydojo 2020-04-26T18:45:28Z

Impressive work, but quite difficult. The best I managed was 16 turtles in wave 6. My other point of criticism is that the health indication wasn't obvious from the start.

Happy Life by scalliondelight 2020-04-26T18:23:55Z

I couldn't figure out how to properly operate the phone, but the art and music were nice.

Hard Beat by FinnThePirate 2020-04-21T16:12:37Z

The art is great, but the kickback when you get hit is a bit annoying. I was doing so well that there were -7 patients in the hospital.

King's Table by PetTurtle 2020-04-27T14:04:55Z

The concept and art are great, but the sfx's and pathfinding is a bit buggy. If you polish it up a bit, you have a good game on your hands. I also noticed that you misspelled "continue" as "conitune".

No Cat by Cedric Matheus 2020-04-26T18:14:15Z

Nice images, but the link doesn't work.

The Last Guardian by civmaniac 2020-05-07T16:38:20Z

The art is nice and great music choice! I really like how summoning clouds effects the tree, the growing of cactuses and the enemies. Though, the acorn amount doesn't decrease when you place a cactus. It's also a bit weird that cactuses grow from acorns. After a while I started to wonder when the game was gonna end, since progress towards the end goal isn't shown. I guess you just have to survive for a certain amount of time, because the game ended quite suddenly.

Flat Frat by Prism 2020-04-22T18:23:37Z

Pretty funny game. Maybe you mention somewhere that the player has to clicking on the vibrating items. I also didn't fully understand why vibrating items sometimes stopped vibrating even though I hadn't clicked on them yet. I lasted 10 hours, towards the end it did get pretty wild.

Save the Fish by Duck Reaction 2020-04-22T11:29:44Z

That was funny. I like how you randomise the actions. I got to round 4, but it closed the instructions before I had time to read all of it. Some instruction were also a bit unclear, like "fish says hold" hold what? Also, sometimes "fish says click", but then it only works if I click on the fish. Overall, pretty good game.

Seven Nights in Siberia by Gus Goucher 2020-04-22T19:01:23Z

I tried the web build, but I can't operate the main menu. So, I tried the Windows build, but the window doesn't show everything. I noticed that the fire goes out quite quickly, maybe that can be a bit more forgiving. Other that, the music was nice and I've always wanted to a polar bear ;-).

Mycelium by BlobRoss 2020-04-26T17:24:09Z

Great idea, but the game was too difficult for me; my highscore was 21. It was also quite easy to waste water, because you need to be very accurate with the watering can.

Keep the memory Alive by Ninsky 2020-04-24T15:15:23Z

Great art and interesting concept, but it seems to be bugged; I get a game over while there are still two bars with memory stuff. The map colours on the map are also incorrect, the blue dot actually bring you to the room with the green bar, etc.

Flood by Joxev 2020-04-26T14:37:28Z

Good concept and nice graphics. Though, the game is quite difficult and I couldn't get used to the controls.

Last keeper by Tatyana 2020-05-03T18:10:50Z

The mini games are a lot of fun, but the one for the cockpit can be quite time consuming. My best score was 393.

KEEP THE KING(DOM) ALIVE by Kevin H 2020-04-22T21:14:33Z

The art is nice, but yeah the game needs some more love. Hopefully you guys will work on it a bit more. If I understand correctly, I select an action on the left and this influences my stats on the right? Can you than show me how a certain action will change the stats, before I select it so that I can make a good decision. Also, I'm pretty sure the king doesn't pay taxes, he's the one that collects them XD.

Rogue Janitor by stolen_biscuit 2020-04-27T09:04:23Z

Nice that the levels are randomly generated, that keeps it interesting. I found it quite difficult to understand what to do. Mopping up the blood was easy, but filling chests and removing bodies not so much. Eventually I figured out that the bodies need to go into the box with the face, but I couldn't get the diamands into the chests (if that was the goal for the chests). Some sound would also be a good addition.

How to Air by kwaku 2020-04-21T10:18:11Z

I managed to complete the game, but it wasn't easy. The main issue I see is that you need to be within a certain range of things; so at first glance it seems like something is not possible (even though it actually is). This is especially a problem in the beginning, when you're trying to figure out how to pick stuff up. Though, I do like the jokes of poo resulting in methane and such. You probably also want to clearify that the player needs to put stuff into the extractor and only the canisters from that machine fit into the air machine. Having to use an installer isn't great either, but I guess it was worth it.

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-23T07:23:23Z

Pretty funny how you tied the game in with your previous game. Though, I would have liked some way to store food. If I need to make two items, one of the fields is useless because I first have to make the other item. The game is a bit confusing at the start. Since the potato field is already operational, but others aren't. I would start by having the player activate the potato field. Maybe also display "currently inactive" on fields that haven't yet been activated.

LD46 by Zivfo 2020-04-22T20:56:04Z

Pretty nice game, my record is 15 people saved (12 died but ssh). I like the art and the music, but it does get a bit difficult. I would really limited it to two pills, otherwise it will just take too much time. Also, that's not how you pronounce "meteorite" XD. I do also agree with @yscik, that it isn't obvious that you have to click on the person. I thought that the list on the left was the list of orders; especially since it start with one recipe and then more are added.

Chicky's Delivery Service by Jelle Vermandere 2020-04-25T13:42:17Z

Seems nice, but the web build doesn't load in chrome on Windows 10. Maybe you can add a standalone build?

Chicky's Delivery Service by Jelle Vermandere 2020-04-26T12:41:27Z

Alright, I've played the game. I like that it start with the chicken and ends in the frying pan. The faces are also a great touch. Though, I found the physics (at the start of each level) to be a bit unreliable. I also couldn't beat Basket Delivery, because the last obstacle didn't end close enough to the box. The same goes for Breakfast, because of the frying pan near the top (couldn't get it to roll over the stele of the pan).

FACE LOVE! by Gabe Lane 2020-04-23T08:08:05Z

The humor is strong in this one hahaha. Though, there is a lot of talking making the game drag on. I do like how you show some of the faces at the end. Though, I'm pretty sure that weren't all of them. Schermopname (543).png

Box Of Limes by RedDashGames 2020-04-23T16:19:57Z

The concept is great and the execution is also great. Skylands was a bit of difficulty spike, but no further complaints. Though, the whole time I played the sound didn't work (30 min). Then I moved the file from the downloads folder to a folder named "awesome games" and it worked fine. So, I guess there is some kind of bug, but I'm not sure. I played version "fixed2".

Medic! Keep'em Alive by Robert Li 2020-05-01T21:15:13Z

The art and music are great, but I would like some more gameplay. Maybe the difficulty can increase over time and there can be a highscore system. Another aspect could be dragging them to safety and then healing them. There was also nothing shooting the bullets; they appear out of thin air. At the end, the game mentioned that I had saved 10 people and sacrificed 3. I saved everyone except for the peopel that died in explosions, so I didn't really sacrifice them on purpose.

Stayin Alive by Tanapat 2020-05-01T21:40:36Z

Pretty fun game, but I would have liked some added twist. The concept is currently quite similar to other rhythm games. The music was nice; great how it changes as your score increases. Though, the score counter is very hard to spot (small and low contrast with the background). I would also like more feedback on whether or not I pressed at the right time. Maybe the arrows can be at the same height as the static arrows as well; now it just seems to be all over the place. Lastly, the game just ends when you reach 4000. Making it infinite and ramping up the difficulty would create some replay value (with a highscore system). Overall quite good, well done.

Logan by Matt Greenbury 2020-05-01T22:06:17Z

I think I got pretty far, but there was no checkpoint and I got reset all the way to the beginning when I fell down. Maybe you could add a checkpoint at the start of the combat part or even a couple of checkpoints. I like the atmosphere, but the movement is a bit stiff. Some checkpoints would go a long way, and really isn't an issue to implement eventhough the rating period isn't over yet.

The Land of The Consumed by NanoArch 2020-04-22T11:03:19Z

The music is nice. Maybe you can decrease the amount of enemies a bit, because now it is quite overwhelming (even though they don't do much damage). Perhaps you can also mention somewhere that the player has to get the watering can and bring it to the patch of dirt.

Chabones Argentinos bizarre adventure by Juan Ignacio Ranedo 2020-05-01T20:57:28Z

I don't understand how to play the game. Maybe you could a tutorial. The exe is also hidden within the project files; please just upload the build separately.

Social Distancing For LadyBugs by mehrdadsh 2020-05-12T17:52:37Z

Yeah, pretty nice game. The visual effect on the screen when you approach the limit is a good addition. Though, it does block out the corners of the screen (making it more difficult). It would be nice if the game kept track of the players highscore. An online leaderboard would be great as well. I managed a whoping 8670! Though, most of the time I got around 2000.

Mr. Cheesy by SAVVU 2020-04-26T12:48:07Z

Great take on the endless runner genre. The difficulty increases at a constant rate, but the rate is a bit too slowly for my liking. My highscore was 3405 (first attempt).

Just a Stroll by killy9999 2020-04-23T19:52:11Z

That was pretty fun, my score was 1211. Maybe you can an additional mechanic by holding down LMB for a longer period of time => less throws => each stone more impact. Okay, bye.

Ninjalloony Balloon by ddanushkin 2020-04-22T18:49:55Z

The art is nice, but if you used an asset (for the trees etc) than it is standard to mention it somewhere. That way people know what you made and what is assets. Some searching revealed that you're using this asset: https://opengameart.org/content/pixel-art-simple-trees, which actually requires you to give them credit for the art.

Keep Pit Alive! by BunnyDen 2020-04-26T18:35:21Z

Yeah, pretty much what @zebraatomica said. Though, I'd like to add that the world isn't very believable. Why would there be a horse in a cave filled with apples? A horse in a hill landscape would make more sense. Perhaps you can add some backstory, like the horse fell into the cave.

St. Hestia by Endymion 2020-04-22T19:46:51Z

Lot's of campfire games this time around. I like the effect you're using on the outlines of objects. The mood is also great. However, it is a bit hard to navigate the world, because of the camera not moving and trees getting in the way. I also wasn't sure what to do against the enemies, run maybe?

Mis Vacas by sodap 2020-04-22T20:36:35Z

Nice game, but it can get quite difficult around stage 4, 5 and 6 (probably above 6 as well, but I didn't get that far). The art and colours are great, and so is the music. All around pretty good, just a bit difficult.

Village Vanquish by Reece Geofroy 2020-05-03T19:03:58Z

Pretty fun game. The difficulty curve is good. Though, I didn't really understand how the re-charging of the spells worked.

Village Vanquish by Reece Geofroy 2020-05-04T08:30:28Z

@reece-geofroy Alright, well maybe there can be a visual bar over the icon that indicates the cool down progress.

Careful Defense by tsombi100 2020-04-26T17:03:49Z

Very interesting idea, but I wish the player had more control over the towers. Like how long to attack a certain enemy. At the moment, the towers just attack the enemy furthest along the path; meaning that the first is killed and the others have a lot of heath. This seems unfair to me as the player. Though, I managed to survive for 107,54 seconds.

The Dark Cave by Tom Stephenson 2020-04-22T10:24:42Z

The mood is great. My main complaints are that the light thingy only moves in straight lines and doesn't respawn next to you when you die. On my first attempt it got stuck at the cliff part before the floating platformers. On my second try I did manage to get it down the cliff, but the floating platformers were still too difficult.

The Dark Cave by Tom Stephenson 2020-04-22T10:28:02Z

I tried it some more and eventually managed the jump. There seems to be a limited amount of the throwable object, but there is no indication when you pick one up and how many you have left. The battle with the spider was also a bit limited. I would have liked more interaction with the spider, then just running away.

SAVE THE DINOS! by marcusnystrand 2020-04-25T21:58:46Z

It starts off pretty easy, but then becomes very hard. The best I managed was 1:14. I like how there are multiple sizes of meteorite. Though, I noticed that you also get a game over when there is no chance to reproduce; which isn't fair. I think you should only get a game over if there are no dino's left. Overall quite fun, but maybe you can make the difficulty curve a bit smoother.

The Game of our Lives by Owl_Skip 2020-05-01T20:35:25Z

The music and mood are great, but I would have liked some more gameplay. Like, you narrating on the creations of the player.

Spoon by Cadstor 2020-04-27T12:38:13Z

Like @duke said, the obstacles don't look like they are in the path of the player, while they actually are. The animations and transitions are also quite rough. There also isn't much variety in the gameplay. If you look at the chrome dinosaur game, you have to jump and duck; while you only have to jump in your game. Though, the art and music are quite nice. My highscore was 298.

Don't Leaf Me by MickeyO 2020-04-25T13:39:15Z

The jokes are funny and the art and music are good; some sfx's would be nice as well. I also noticed that the controls need some work, for example there is no grace jumping. Also, the UI is rendered behind obstacles.

Keep It Alive! by TeamJS 2020-05-02T15:32:54Z

The art is really nice, but the houses don't blend together with the road and the grass; there are some sharp edges. The game is also quite unforgiving at the start. The player really only has the option to quickly run towards the charging station on the right. The slight issue with that is, that the controls never mention that **you can run with shift**. The addition of a map is a good addition, because it would be quite hard to find the shop otherwise. Though, perhaps you could also add some signs pointing towards the coffee shop. I also like that the time aspect with the charging of the phone.

Kaze No Kami by ssh.randy 2020-04-22T18:34:50Z

Could be interesting, but I would prefer more control. I would also recommend adding some objective. Perhaps make to oppositve of this game https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/where-the-fire-goes. In that game you need to stop the fire, in your game you need to spread it. No doubt you can learn some things from that game.
