Good Game
There is no Mac client inside the zip (nor Linux for that matter). Unity doesn't automatically make all three platforms when you build, gotta target and build each separately...

Neat game. But man, am I bad at rock-paper-scissors.
Interface was intuitive. Music and mood were nice. Burning hellscape of the tormented in the background was a nice touch.
Would have been interesting to somehow infuse some overarching story over the course of a number of rounds, but I don't really know how that would work, and this is already a pretty big scope for 48 hours. Nice submission.
Simple but cute and enjoyable. Is there anything you wish you had time to add?
@antti-haavikko Oh, thank you for pointing that out, I have no experience exporting to mac in Unity, thanks Man! I shall work on it
Neat graphical style! Good interface and simple concept that works!
Nice take on the theme - I did something kind of similar, and its always interesting to see where other peoples ideas overlap
Very nice mood, and the loungy audio track did the rest. Fitting graphics too, UI was very intuitive and looks polished. Great entry!
A fun little game, with a simple-to-understand premise and a good amount of complexity to the challenge. The overall production values were really high for a compo game, with everything coming together to make a cohesive final product. That said, I think the AI should have a much lower chance to pick the same card as you, because I don't care how realistic the odds are, getting seven ties in a row just slowed the game down a lot.
Pretty cool idea... I especially like the the art assets and overall the look of the game.
I'm not sure why but when I played it in the itch.io player, the screen, except the text, was black. I was just clicking around and won three games without losing a hand.
Then I used the zip file and could see everything and lost in 2 hands. Just goes to show my luck I suppose. Great concept and execution.
Perfectly fits the theme! Simple yet enjoyable)
Simple but really well executed (pun intended).
I didn't figure out what to do after "You have 100 points" label.
When choosing how much to gamble, I think a slider with a button would be better so that it was possible to play with just mouse and chill.
I liked the music and graphics :)
Fire sound effect fits well in music. Animations are dirty, but in the result we have funny and dynamic game to play.
I liked the mood of the game, felt like I was in a dark tavern. Wish there were more mechanics that would allow me to cheat the roshambo game or spend my life to do some tricks. Nice entry, good work
Nice game. Cool graphics and sounds. And the idea is nice.Good job!
P.S. Cool Kaiji reference
Good look! I wish there was a bit more depth to the gameplay, or may I just didn't get it.
I go all in. Every time. No matter what.
I lose in the first round. Every time. No matter what.
Pretty smooth animations and transitions, beginning with the opening 3V logo; I feel all the work needed to be done on those. The game iself will honestly not keep me entertained for long, but the dimension of getting some practice or skills fulfilled.
And I always appreciate music in compos.
Ha! Cool idea! I had a similar idea during lunch on sunday: A rock paper scissors where you had to wager your hand, feet, skin, bones... :-) Anyway, I love RPS, and this game certainly gets some points from me for that.
Some things that bugged me a bit: - The "wager" system did not quite sell it to me. In the end, it felt better to just always wager all your life to make the game go faster. - It was not very clear how much life you get when you win. Once I waged 30 and got 30, once I waged 90 and got 10, once I waged 100 and got 0. Is this based on how much the enemy wages? Any way to check that? - It would have been nice if you gave names to the enemies ;-) Always better to beat someone you share a personal connection with!
Good game! I hope to see a post-compo version!
@kovakomes I can totally relate to that, hahaha. But that's what you get for sacrificing all of your lives
Well done for a 48 hour game! Not sure if the AI is random or is using some sort of strategy because it did feel like the AI responses to the previous hand played (if its purely random then ignore that last part). There were times where it picked a different card when I clicked on one though but it didn't happen too frequently (some won me a few hands too). The gambling aspect is nice and I'm sure you can dive deeper with this concept in the future.
Nice game, I was mainly trying to figure out how the AI works. It seems to choose the same card multiple again if you lost, but then other times it switches to another card. I notice it mainly doing this with scissors and paper. Though the AI also seems to be better when you gamble more points. I would decrease the starting amount of points, because it takes to long to beat an enemy and give each enemy a certain strategy so that the gameplay mainly revolves around understanding your opponent. It would also be nice if you could just click on a card right away, instead of first having to confirm the betting amount for every turn.
