OH MY GOD, THIS FREAKING GAME, LOVE IT MAN. This game connects with many of the developers in Ludum Dare right now or every game dev in general. It's so meta. The text to speech kind of voice, the pixelated graphics, and dialogue. It's so good, it's bad. Got all of the endings and the first time I got an ending I laughed so hard. GREAT GAME, congrats!!!

Going philosophical here. I love your twist in the theme for this LD44. Definitely can be considered an eye-opener and a philosophical game. (Also, shoutout for the disclaimer about the privacy of info). Only criticism is it could be longer. But good otherwise
Good game in general, great job in choosing the colors and creating a death-like-sad-like atmosphere. The music also adds to the said atmosphere.
I must admit, I have an embarrassing amount of time figuring out how to progress the dialogue box, a text to press space could work. The character also feels heavy in my opinion but it doesn't negate the controls of the game
But overall, graphics, music, atmosphere, and feel, you nailed it. Congrats!

Wow, just wow is all I can say man. Also 5/5 for the pun name First of all, the theme is implied to the dialogue of God Ross but that's just the start. The graphics are executed very very nicely with the particles and everything using the voxel type look. The soundtrack is also very good, very refreshing to hear a nice soundtrack, some submissions this time doesn't have a lot of them. Congrats man!
I was left empty after I played this game. But I think it was intentional, had a good laugh at my confusion at the end. 10/10 for the options menu.

I was about to comment that it doesn't fit the theme at first but looking at your game description, I understand where your stance is and I absolutely respect that decision.
That decision made you create a game that is relaxing for a change and gives of a great atmosphere which is a very good decision.
Its nice to have a game in LD44 that deviates from the shooters, killing types, and just relax and slow down the pace.

You're right about the balance part, most specially when it comes to the later stages, the game becomes daunting because of being cornered by too many enemies. Theme-wise, it kind-off deviates from it but it is definitely average on that part.
I must praised the sprites and pixel art on this one, it is very high in quality, and I like the decision to make the enemies move one by one and not all by once because it gives off a very nice effect.
Overall, it was a very nice strategy game and a good submission, congrats!

This game stands out from the humor. The graphics and music really add up to the condescending feeling of getting chased by dancing zombies while freaking dancing. Good game, solid submission!
First, congrats for completing your game. I'll start with commenting on the concept itself which is executed nicely, the currency being the battery's own life, and the puzzle aspect is also pulled of nicely utilizing the core mechanics of the game. However, an improvement in this would be changing the UI of the buttons from its native assets, and some of the UIs has that kind-of pixelated look. Overall, solid submission

This was a fun game, but it deviates too far away from the Life is Currency theme, although it has that currency part in check. The pixel graphics and sprites used is very high in quality and a solid platformer. Congrats!
I'm a fan of bullet hell styled game, and this was no exception. A very interesting take on the theme. I loved the assets use specially the background music that really changes the feel of the game. Great job!!
I have seen many coin platformers in LD44, keep on creating and developing man, Ludum Dare Compo is very very hard but I hope you enjoyed and learned a lot from this time's LD44. Nevertheless congratulations!

This game could use some atmosphere and post-processing effects to make it more immersive tho. Very interesting game and a good take on the concept of Life as Currency. It is a game that takes time to master, I had many repeated game overs but once I got the hang of it, I lasted longer on the game. Graphics is good overall and it could use some science-y background music, but overall, great strategy game and fits well with LD44, congratulations!

Interesting take on the theme, this is the first submission in LD44 i've seen to have the tower defense concept. This game stands out in the quality of the assets used. Very reminiscent to Plants Vs. Zombies. Some background music would be nice to break the monotony of the soundscape in the game. But overall, great submission. Congrats!

Good game, I think your game shines on the graphics part, very smooth and clean. However, my only criticism is that the music loops not at the right time, and kind-of gets irritating after a long period of time in the gameplay. But graphics, feel, and controls are nailed in this one. Congrats!

First of all, the music is A+, i like the part that says "ahhh-ahhh-AHHHHHHH", I made me laugh, moving on, graphics is very fitting with the game and style. I am a fan of pinball games and this is a very interesting take on it, definitely one of the more good looking games for LD41, great job!
Very awesome game, the fact that this was made in 3 days is quite astonishing, most of the games that are in Ludum Dare are usually one level, or infinite, or a generated one, but the levels was hand-crafted, very commendable, a very great job guys!
The best game I have played in terms of mood so far, great job on the setting, music, and the graphics as well, although I am not a fan of visual novels and text-adventures, I still find this interesting and worth-while. A very good job guys!

Very very nice game, awesomes visual and concept. The mechanics could use tweaking and improvements like tracking where the player is and shooting more frequently, but overall, the shaderwork and particles are gorgeous,

I've been finding a very funny and fun game for this Ludum Dare and I have found one, I have been laughing the whole time, hahaha. I think as far as improvements, you could do waves of enemies, and then more movements for enemies to have more variety, but a very solid submission!

Unique concept, but like all other comments that I saw on this thread, it needs more improvements, and of course graphics, but that is expected in a Game Jam, anyways, Good job!
Omg, the concept is very creative and it is so well done, even I will not think of combining combat with pizza-making. I am a sucker for the graphic style of this, the monochrome colors definitely work out with the style of this game, had fun playing and this is definitely a keeper in my book, good job!

Uhm, I really do not understand how to play the game so I basically just derped around, but I got a score of 5 so that's good, hahaha, but I can see the concept, the graphics and music are matched, and overall, eventhough I suck at this, I still find it enjoyable, great job!
Really great submission, nailed it on the graphics, it is very very beautiful :smile: However, I suggest to make the controls more tactile, I don't know if it's just me or if I really suck at the game. The background music is good, but it taunts me because I die so many many times :laughing: It is very sad to see the little golf ball die because of me for the nth time, hahahaha. I think the finishing touch for this would be a main menu screen for players to be prepared first before diving into the game.
I had fun playing this! I really like the voxel graphics and the lighting, the shaders look nice although it lags my laptop quite a bit because I have performance issues with it, a really interesting take on the maze genre, mixing it with survival. Overall, a solid submission, great job!
