Placeholder comment! Lemme know when Windows build is ready|

onnofal 2019-04-28 21:17

@siebenmik Hi, I've tried to build it but I haven't tested it properly (and unfortunately will not have a chance before end of compo), so if there are some major troubles, maybe as post-mortem version. Thanks

belea 2019-04-29 13:26

Windows version worked fine for me. I love the visuals! everything feels really smooth and solid. I love the scope detail and de inverted Y option.

Well done! I have lost several times, is there and end of the game?

PS. I love how the penguin thanks you when you have just hit the iceberg, too cute! haha

shp 2019-04-29 13:38

Windows build worked fine for me, the game is very cute and the music fits the mood perfectly

onnofal 2019-04-29 14:01

@shp @belea Thanks for testing and playing

Ad the mouse invert option, its essential to those few of us used to it :) I miss it while playing other LD entries pretty often

yahub 2019-04-29 14:02

Great game... It have nice and relaxing atmosphere

mia-devs 2019-04-29 14:06

Not running window version

2019-04-29 14:10

pretty relaxing game

mia-devs 2019-04-29 14:11

After extract Again i got the game You really made a best and good looking game

aycan 2019-04-29 14:12

Mac build worked fine for me. Indirect control logic in this game is awesome. However, it wasn't a meditative environment for me. I was always worried because of icebergs :)

zubspace 2019-04-29 14:13

Windows version works for me.

What a beautiful game. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The whole environment, waves and snowfall are wonderful to look at. The music fits perfectly.

I also like the interaction with your helmsman.

harry-damm 2019-04-29 14:18

Played Win64 version and works fine! Love the atmosphere, the visuals and the audio really does it for me (the zooming sound should have lower volume though). Love the penguin's animations as well when you decide on a direction, cute!

pwroff 2019-04-29 15:04

mac version didn't work for me unfortunately :( although i really like how the game looks

shard 2019-04-29 15:08

I have no idea what I'm doing, but the low-poly visuals look great!

sillyman987 2019-04-29 15:10

Pretty Good~

borys 2019-04-29 15:11

Windows version works fine, tested! So relaxing game. Not so engaging, but it's okay for this type of game I guess. And I love this sweet pingi! Good job!

jk5000 2019-04-29 15:12

A fun and interesting little LD. The sounds and graphics is really good. The camera movement is a bit weird, and it makes the game a bit difficult to play. Overall a really good LD game. Well done.

aaron96 2019-04-29 15:17

Wow, I really like the look and feel of this game and the music fits perfectly!

2019-04-29 16:22

@onnofal Unfortunately I can't get mine to work on Win64

It doesn't get mouse movement input

misterhusky 2019-04-29 16:38

Worked for me using Windows 10 64bit. atmosphere is relaxing and you get lost in the moment until you hit an iceberg. no stress or jump scares... just a very chill game.

onnofal 2019-04-29 16:42

@siebenmik Sorry to hear. Is there anything unusual in your system configuration or any idea? I am confused how it works for others and not for you, and honestly nothing serious or hacky happening there with Unity input then reading the value :)

pincushion 2019-04-29 16:45

The game seeks to bring a "relaxing meditative environment", and it succeeds at that. I love the penguins.

It's a bit awkward to turn around to steer, and I found the default inverted Y axis to be confusing (I vote for not inverted to be the default :).

The scope is a nice touch.

p0nce 2019-04-29 16:48

Lovely iceberg-avoidance simulator! At first I was searching for fish with the scope.

simone 2019-04-29 16:48

Cute little game :) Lovely atmosphere, both relaxing and anxious. As in most of the game I tried up to now, I do not see a strict correlation to the theme. But I also sincerely hated this theme, so I totally understand you!

dukes 2019-04-29 17:01

realy nice slow pace experience, congrats !

onnofal 2019-04-29 17:04

@p0nce Absolutely :) If there is another feature ever coming, it is fishing in the meantime. Even just as an optionable fun part.

von-vista 2019-04-29 17:18

I was about to comment that it doesn't fit the theme at first but looking at your game description, I understand where your stance is and I absolutely respect that decision.

That decision made you create a game that is relaxing for a change and gives of a great atmosphere which is a very good decision.

Its nice to have a game in LD44 that deviates from the shooters, killing types, and just relax and slow down the pace.

Very good graphics, and relaxing gameplay, and atmosphere building is spot on. Congrats man!

gwinnell 2019-04-29 20:57

Very lovely visuals and atmosphere -- I personally would have liked to see more of an objective, but I understand that you might not have wanted to. (MacOS build was OK!)

nettaigyo 2019-04-30 02:58

Camera scroll is too sensitive. Graphics and mood is very good!

onnofal 2019-04-30 15:40

@nettaigyo in post-submission version you may now tweak mouse sensitivity by hitting 1..5 keys :v:

korteh 2019-04-30 16:18

wow this is so cute!

eddensoft 2019-04-30 18:08

man i really like art style, so cute and awesome!

tamail 2019-05-01 16:04

I know that the theme of this year's Ludum Dare isn't really included, I know that it has practically no action mechanics and so on but... I just love this game anyway. :) It really made me happy to see you create the game on the LD44 site, it made for great meme and I can't get enough of this game's cuteness. It's really calming and beautiful. Great job!

onnofal 2019-05-01 17:10

@tamail Thanks, really appreciated, great time there and see you next time .)

lina 2019-05-02 00:11

Amazing graphics and the penguine is super cute! Liked that it was even possible to change the y-axis-setting during the game :) Maybe you could turn up the music a little bit in comparison to the click-sound, I really enjoyed this wave sound

candlesan 2019-05-03 09:04

Really loved the super cute penguin - that was amazing. There was a weird dichotomy for me between the super relaxing ambiance, which I loved, only to have the game end with a loud violent crash. Love that you made such a relaxing game and really went out there in a bold and daring way.

dev-dennis 2019-05-03 15:19

Hey,

I love penguins, so I was a bit disappointed not to see more of them, or be able to interact more with it. However the mood, music and feel is great. The mechanic with the scope works great. I would have loved more interesting things to look at, it quickly become a bit boring, but the music kept me in it. Great job!

teo989 2019-05-08 17:16

Nicely done! The game is exactly what it's meant to be  I love this pingu!!! :penguin:

yorsh 2019-05-10 16:44

Great mood, looks and sounds great, and while simple I love the gameplay. The only thing that bothered me is a weird lag/freeze/jump thing happening when moving the mouse in and out of the ship (when I get the option to use the scope).

mrstari 2019-05-11 12:27

really cute game :hearts: :penguin:

onnofal 2019-05-12 17:37

@yorsh Interesting trouble, I've tried to profile it and I see a significant peak of Unity UI layout taking 0.5ms every change of this crosshair tip, in the rest of the overhead seems like negligible, but probably isn't somehow on your configuration. Really nothing else much going on there that moment than switching on and off image and label, would never expect this causing lags. Thanks for reporting

yorsh 2019-05-13 10:40

@onnofal I tried to record the issue, but now it works perfectly, so all good !

I think if you need a good company that delivers parcels from overseas and across the United States, then this is definitely [uss-express](https://uss-express.com/) with them you will not have any problems. I used the services of different companies, but only this one suited me completely.
