LD39 — Running out of Power

Modern Ninja by Lukesta 2017-07-31T21:13:54Z

I appreciate the light work and theme music. I kinda find it hard to play at first but after a few trials difficulty seemed reasonable. good job.

Fluffy Racer by pfeyffer 2017-07-31T20:14:48Z

awesome game, especially love the idea and graphics.

POWERCUT, Inc. by zoglu 2017-07-31T20:54:58Z

love the idea. lots of action with a single click/tap command. lovely graphics and sounds. I spent my time mostly on this game so far.

Clockwork Inc. by cowa 2017-07-31T20:41:00Z

great game. especially, i love its simplicity. simple and addictive. a mobile version would be nice tho.

Wind-Up Knight by joemag 2017-08-01T08:08:02Z

best sound fx so far :) controls are hard but concept is very clever. it is quite funny when you try to fire but your weapon is out of power and you hear that sound. good job!

Zombies and RVs by pixelgriffin 2017-08-01T06:24:13Z

my top two interests rvs and zombies in one game :) physics make the game funnier. great art! especially i love the heart icons at the bottom left. good job.

They come at night by bar0net 2017-08-01T07:54:41Z

creeps' sounds are hilarious :) at first, i played all modes for a couple of turns and a little tutorial (at least some instructions) would be nice. when I figured out what's going on, this game became more challenging. good job!

by the way, random level generator placed roads outside of the screen once (because of my screen resolution maybe, idk).

Run and Slash by Aycan 2017-08-02T18:06:05Z

apparently, sound effects are everybody's fav so far :) actually I was planning to scream for dash skill but it was late night, so I just whispered to mic.

@luckyfeathers after all these encouraging comments, now i am planning to improve the game. as you advised, better enemy spawns and ability unlocks gonna be my first to-dos.

And Here Again by PerduGames 2017-07-31T20:28:30Z

cool game, top down graphics are awesome but a few animations would be nice. theme music also suits the game well. it makes the game darker.

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Steam Paralysis by Nammflow 2017-12-05T06:19:41Z

me in a nutshell :D hilarious!

Rhythm Bandit by fashionbatman 2017-12-05T19:28:59Z

Fantastic theme music. I added it to my chiptunes playlist :)

PLETHORA by Emilio Barrera 2017-12-05T06:31:49Z

Great game, i love the idea. good job.

LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Altitude Sickness by Antti Tiihonen 2018-12-03T10:45:10Z

This game is hilarious. I loved the control implementation, quite polished and no glitches. fyi, I didn't hear any audio when playing HTML5 version, but it may be a problem with my browser.

Sacrifice Management by Aycan 2018-12-03T07:11:02Z

@shulgaboy Thx for the first comment :) As you said, bonuses and penalties are random. For each level, they are created to provide at least one solution.

Purgatory by omercanbalandi 2018-12-04T19:11:11Z

control implementations are excellent, so smooth and no glitches. also I loved the dark environment. good job.

To The Slaughter (LD43) by snakemuho 2018-12-03T12:52:48Z

great graphics and rich background story provide an awesome atmosphere. however, controls were difficult in the beginning.

Meat Spike by Muzzz29 2018-12-03T10:21:36Z

brilliant game and level design, also i loved the little story. however, I am not even close to 54.

Mooom! by Marcin Sciesinski 2018-12-03T10:28:50Z

I played several platform games of this jam, and imo this has the best movement feeling so far (especially jumping and screen shake effect). congrats!

take me up! by minelsaygisever 2018-12-04T18:20:02Z

I loved the art style, those gleaming sprites are awesome. good job.

Drunken Devil by shulgaboy 2018-12-03T07:24:57Z

Cool control implementation and simple game mechanics. I really enjoyed it.

LD44 — Your life is currency

Try to live by Remicy 2019-04-29T13:12:33Z

the tip really helped :) i loved graphics and audio. I can spend much more time in this game if it is balanced a little more.

Kill'em by Aycan 2019-04-29T22:00:11Z

@benjamin @gwinnell i realized a bug in end game conditions (it occurs sometimes). that ss helped a lot to figure it out  I'll fix it sometime after play+rate ends. thanks for playing everyone.

Kill'em by Aycan 2019-04-30T10:44:49Z

@liauj that's very weird and I'm sorry to hear that. gonna search for that error. I started to think that some cards may cause some bugs in certain conditions. thank you very much!

Polar Delivery by onnofal 2019-04-29T14:12:35Z

Mac build worked fine for me. Indirect control logic in this game is awesome. However, it wasn't a meditative environment for me. I was always worried because of icebergs :)

Cult Master by xSupah 2019-04-29T13:20:26Z

This game provides a full sacrificing experience. Also I loved the environment, it's a living pixel community, my favorite.

The Life Hacker by obalfaqih 2019-04-30T06:30:21Z

it's a thrilling stealth game. controls are a little glitchy but everything else is fine and clear. gj

LD45 — Start with nothing

The Whispering Forest by Mathstr0fficial 2019-10-07T11:28:54Z

I really loved this game. Background music and audio create a wonderful ambience. I am intrigued by the story and the content is too much for a two-day jam game. 5 points for storytelling. The narrative style kept my attention for all gameplay. These are pros.

In my opinion, technical problems (except for the one related to hit boxes) are not that disturbing. As cons, I can say that I always wondered if I missed something and I thought about my progress. The exterior environment is huge (I don't know if this hugeness is necessary) and a little dead.

Good job :ok_hand:

Bartered by Aycan 2019-10-07T07:53:32Z

@joellikespigs @mathstr0fficial Thanks for playing and commenting.

When you obtain a high value item in the beginning, it becomes harder to make profit in the rest of the round. Also because of this, some other low value items become pitfalls :) Couldn't calculate that :)

Bartered by Aycan 2019-10-07T15:02:04Z

@hcursino "When trading, + and - signs indicate the purchasing power of target items with respect to yours."

@hcursino @odeyalko Deciding a target item and trying to obtain it is the goal of the game. You can help other people while doing that. Background music creates a stressed environment but actually it is a chill game :)

Thanks for playing and commenting everyone.

Tribal Offerings by Vladadamm 2019-10-08T11:03:33Z

Fyi, when I play webgl version in embedded mode, top ui is outside of the screen. When switched to fullscreen mode, the problem is solved.

I really enjoyed this game. Graphics are awesome and artistic (especially the terrain). As a god game fan, I really appreciate this entry. Good job.

SpaceCube by SciDev 2019-10-08T11:48:25Z

Fyi, when you hit the pause button, controls are revealed.

It is a nice game, it has a simple and enjoyable crafting system. I also like physics and polished control logic. However, I don't know anything about my progress. Still couldn't make that sos probe :)

Guide the Ball by TTE-Olaf 2019-10-07T08:34:22Z

This was an addictive experience. In my opinion, background music matches with the game. Nice job!

JO-KEN-DO! by Hcursino 2019-10-07T11:42:26Z

I really enjoyed this game. It feels like old flash games in almost every aspect. As you stated, the fighting system is confusing, and struggling with that is also funny :)

Light Chaser by CodeForJoyCaro 2019-10-07T12:01:14Z

To survive with the highest score, try to move on the boundary of the circle in a single direction, and don’t be greedy. That’s my strategy :)

I like graphics and effects. Also the movement logic is quite polished. Congratulations.

Farm for your life by Cindynator 2019-10-07T08:17:53Z

That was the most shocking intro I've ever seen in a jam game :) I easily understood the logic in my first try and survived quite long. Polished graphics and smooth gameplay are cool. However, it would be awesome if there was an energy alarm (and a money alarm as well). In a moment of inattention, you suddenly die :)

Good job :ok_hand:

LD46 — Keep it alive

Stay Away from my Eggplant by Aycan 2020-04-21T08:56:35Z

Thanks for playing and commenting everyone!

@thompson @diego-escalante @hairic @ege686 @rhinofreak @Isaiah @svenerik @balgorode @cmrobbie I put a little cool down stop after using your rake. I guess that's reason of that clunky controls feeling.

Keep the eggplant alive!
