Hey Nammflow, I can't open your game. If you made your game with unity you need to zip the .exe file with the data folder, then upload the zip file on itch.io. Hope you can fix it so we can try your game :)
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD40 → Steam Paralysis

Same problem as Tay. Don't forget to zip up the UnityPlayer.dll too.
@tay and @nick-luciani, thanks for letting me know! I fixed the itch.io upload so it should be the whole zip folder.
Let me know if it works now! Thanks!
I can launch the game now, but at the first moment I touch a steam icon, it says I got all the games and game start over =/ I guess this is a bug?
The game runs now  However a few seconds after I pick up my first game it says game over. It might be a bug or maybe I'm missing something.
Okay guys, thanks for the help. Found out the issue w/ the pick-up of games saying that you won :). I am now about 80% certain that it will run for you both!
Worked great for me :D . I really enjoyed it even if it hit a little close to home. I like your interpretation of the theme!
Just like the real thing! The game stuttered once or twice, but I can't say why. Neat concept, and *sigh* very realistic. lol. Nice work!
This is entirely realistic and accurate.
Another life simulator. Fun game. And thaaaaank you for the multiple jumps, it just makes a game so much fun! And almost no game I have played today have it.
That was surprisingly fun. The graphics and audio could be improved, but the fundamental mechanics are solid. It does seem like the top 1/3 of the screen is pretty much unreachable though.
Just add exams and that my life
me in a nutshell :D hilarious!
Awesome take on the theme. I love that you literally get paralysed by owning too many unplayed games. This hits very close to home :D
Thanks for all the feedback guys. I'm glad people are enjoying my life simulator :p
Nice little infinite runner. I really like how you made a link between Steam and the theme, making something very special and interesting. This game was a lot more addicting than I first anticipated which is great! I think that you have a great idea for a game but it's missing some needed Audio and Graphics improvements especially. If you improved the game in those areas you would have a very special little gem of a game.
On the bright side Steam paralysis helped me play this instead :P
Addictive. Personally I felt the trick was to avoid the steam games as much as possible, the seem to gather up anyway. Sort of like in real life ;-)
Wow, a simulator of my life!!??
If you analyze the area below the graph and rotate it 90 degrees you can see that this is the best game ever made.
I like this! I was skeptical because I thought it was gonna be meme-y (and it was a little bit ) but I really enjoyed it. It was a clever twist - sometimes you have to avoid certain obstacles, other times (but not too often) you're trying to collect them. Great work!
Ver y nice! I liked it... found it very hard not to buy all the games but those damned steam sales did me in, in the end!
Hits too close to home... nice work though! Definitely a good (and very relatable) interpretation of the theme.
Heh, you could call it "Steam Simulator"!
Like me in real life :D
Nice infinite runner. Didn't know which were good or bad, but still fun to grab everything.
@meanmon13, @alottabit, @jani-nykanen, @chem0pren, there's never a steam sale that goes by without an unplayed game that was purchased.
@jfraser314, thanks for the feedback. The idea is that you can grab anything at any time, but steam sales make games cheaper, and you will eventually run out of money if you dont get jobs, and you will eventually become "Paralyzed" if you have too many games unplayed. So it's a balancing act of collecting the right things at the right time and avoiding specific things when you need to.
Hahah, this game truly speaks to me . There actually was a surprising amount of tactics involved in which resource to go for next, making this game quite different from the typical "avoid these and collect these" -thing. The multi-jumping controls were fun and brought some aiming and anticipation to the mix but I wish there would have been better feedback for when you've passed the apex and cant jump anymore. An audio cue would probably have been enough. Neat game!
This game was simple but neat. I liked it!
Would have been interesting if getting higher was more rewarding but overall good job!
If only it were that easy to get a job IRL haha. It took me awhile to figure out I could multi-jump. I was wondering why so many things were spawning over my head. Good take on the theme.
Funny idea! I included it in my Ludum Dare 40 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvj17CkuZ1U
I can say for myself that you should definitely think about buying and getting more Stim gift cards. I think it will be useful and there shouldn't be any problems. Therefore, I recommend everyone to look and read the [steam card delivery phone number](https://steam-card-delivery.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html) , here you can contact them and without problems already get the very gift card. I hope I was able to help and it was helpful!
