I was quite confused about the seating thing, it would be nice to signal somehow who is already seated with let's say different button as re-seat" or something. I liked the idea being the inkeeper who suggests quests to players! I loved the graphics and the calming music :)
I just couldn't stop playing until I win - but admittedly I really like "connect 3" type of games. :D Nice game, really, loved the art, the writing, the music.
This game was so good - everything fitted perfectly together: The art fitted the silly premise, humor and dialogues, the music fitted the cop theme... I'm amazed, it's such a good game, I laughed a lot! The only thing is that when you point an evidence to the criminal, the text appears there twice right after each other. Otherwise, perfect game with perfect self-reflection!
I. FREAKIN. LOVE. THIS. GAME!!! Oh my god, the music, the graphics, the story - everything is SO GOOD! I loved the animated story before the game itself the most. :D Really nice game, smooth controls, everything was awesome! An amazing entry!

Great idea, one of few games that seems to have a message! I enjoyed the ambient music and the neon-y visuals.
I had troubles shooting, it just want't working. But I loved the overall idea, graphics and mostly the music!
I don't really understand the meaning of this game or the game play itself, sorry :) It takes so much time if you're trying to sell the boxes + the resolution of them is just horrible. BUT I can forget about all of this because there was a picture of a cat which makes the game perfect. So thank you. :D
I love this game so much, it's one of the best games made this LD for sure! The game mechanics were really original, at least to me! I adore the graphics, pixelart and animations. You made it so interesting I was eager to finish the game. The ambient sounds were also great. I don't know everything was just brilliant. I've noticed few bugs, I listed the below as I want this game to be its best. :D Awesome job, seriously!
- In the level where elevators are introduced for the first time, I kinda glitched down on the second elevator..? My character just yeeted out of the screen. :D (After writing this I've noticed that it's when I jump on the elevator somehow.) - Second bug I've noticed is the one where is the sign "Agile, alert and stout? To honor you are en route." - sometimes second box appears out of nowhere (brown box, not the life box) if you die because of the second cog wheel. When you die, the life box kinda jumps into the ceiling, the cog disappears and there's brown box all of sudden.box.png
This game was awesome! But so incredibly sad - anything really brought me happiness, not fair, man, not fair. :D I loved everything about the game, it's one of it's kind for sure in this LD! I loved the way it was stylized into looking like a proper webpage, it helped the experience a lot. By the way, the art was also great. Brilliant job!
I died at 28. Oh well, hopefully I won't end up that way in real life. :D I loved the visuals, the game concept was also great. Nice job!
Really great game, I stopped playing it just because I got frustrated that the controls don't always react - the wings to be specific. I'd always die jumping over the laser just because the second jump wouldn't work there for some reason. But it's an awesome game - I like the graphics, the idea and the jokes! One won't die by bored while playing this game :)

I could spend hours, I think, playing this game! I think that if the game was on Kongregate, it would have many players! I stopped playing just because I forgot to plug in my notebook and it died. :D It died in a moment when I had tons of money and nothing to do. So maybe add an option to upgrade tables and stuff? (I hope I haven't missed the option in the game, if so, sorry!) It seemed to be a bit easy but it could have take a bad turn, I don't know. Anyway, I loved the graphics, I loved the sounds, I loved playing the game!

This is an awesome concept, awesome idea how to work with the horrible theme of Your life is currency! I was missing some kind of story or something that would say how come you, as a blob of water, I assume, can build strong platforms that look exactly like those previously built. :) It was kinda annoying to know that each time you sacrifice your life you have to start at the beginning but I get the reason. Anyway, great idea, great execution, I liked it a lot!

@fat-cat Thank you for the feedback! We realized too late that the game was too hard to play. Just after submitting the game we had the chance to playtest it and nearly no one got it without more clues. We just didn't want to make it too obvious but we kinda did it too hard. Anyway, thanks!

I really loved the concept, the sounds, the art, everything but sometimes it was really hard to hit the conversation hitbox of some characters. When I got to the fastfood I couldn't speak to the girl behind the counter unless I glitch through the counter but then i got stuck inside so I couldn't finish it. But I loved the experience until that point, it's an awesome game! :)
For some weird reason I couldn't move the light until I stopped walking which was kinda annoying. I liked the idea of a maze game and I adore the evil laugh when you lose your life!
@balance686 I'm using Google Chrome, I would give you the version but it got updated an hour ago. :/ (It was one version before: 74.0.3729.131) I was trying all the different distances between the cursor and the character. It seems like it's just my problem so do not worry about it. :)
The gameplay still confuses me, I saw "Game over" a lot. :D But I liked the art and sound!
I loved this game, it has so much potential if it get finished! You promised slime, music and portals - and you delivered I liked the character design a lot, the little swings with sword were really cute! At the second level of browser version, I jumped somewhere and... well, I got stuck in gray background, i could run around sometimes but I couldn't restart the game in any way. But otherwise, great experience!

This is a game with great idea, great music and art but the controls were so hard and annoying! I can't count how many times I missed the spot I needed and how frustrated I got by dropping stuff. I'd love to play it with better controls. :)
It look like a great game, liked the pixel art, the mood, the music but it was too buggy. I often wanted to run before the jump but the character would get stuck on some collider or something and it would stop moving, I had to run left, then right again but it would get stuck just few blocks after the first one. I often couldn't even run right after starting the level and I had to turn it off when the character "started" buried in the ground. :/ What a shame, it looked and sounded really good!
It was a bit annoying to have to click on each stock the exact amount you want to buy/sell and it was just too much stuff to watch all the time - but that may be only my problem. :D Nice little game though!

I know that the theme of this year's Ludum Dare isn't really included, I know that it has practically no action mechanics and so on but... I just love this game anyway. :) It really made me happy to see you create the game on the LD44 site, it made for great meme and I can't get enough of this game's cuteness. Oh this was such a relaxing game! I loved the soundtrack too much and I was absolutely in love with those seeds :D I really can see myself travelling through the island for hours planting trees if there were more options/places where to plant - just to make the most beautiful island. :D I really like this game!

Thi pixal art is the best that I've seen yet this LD. I love the mood that you can feel thanks to the art. The game itself seems to be too hard for me to finish, it's insane to go trough it without getting hit once. :D But I really love it anyway!
I wouldn't call this a game which is actually not a problem! This was more of an experience which I can't say about most of the games I played. I really loved the art and music. It was really soothing, relaxing, I felt less stressed... Awesome job!!!
The idea is nice but I don't see any challenge in it. Except the fact that my little dude would only run to the right and after some time he wouldn't even run anymore, he would got stuck (T didn't help) so I could only jump. :( But I liked the sound and art!

Oh, this one is SO HARD! It's impossible to stay alive for a minute for me :D I would have to spam the burger a lot but it would do nearly nothing except killing me by not sleeping. It could use some better balance. I loved the art though - unfortunately, I couldn't hear any sounds.

The game was randomly kicking me back to the beginning - without me stepping on spikes, being killed, spending all my life on attacks... Very annoying. I loved the art though! I also like how sneaky you were with those spikes. I don't know if it was intentional or not but they were sometimes hard to notice :D

It just seems extremely hard as nearly anything gives you money - it's a bit imbalanced in my opinion. But still an awesome entry!

I can't even get past the first level. As I can see there are only two object to interact with? If I click the old lady, there's an animation of me getting hit by a car. If I click the bird first and then the old lady - there's no animation whatsoever and I just die without any explanation. Am I missing something? Otherwise, I enjoyed the graphics, the idea and the music a lot!
Such a great game! The only thing I'd change about it is some in game feedback about the results of my actions, most of the time I had no idea whether my attack was successful or not. But I loved the graphics so much. Great job!

Oh, the controls are so hard to master! The fact the characters slides a little after finishing the movement killed me so many times! When the level is done, the animation of getting to the shop is painfully slow. Anyway, I love the concept, the story and the idea behind it, I actually liked it a lot! It just needs some tweaks :)
Hi, I like this type of decision games I just didn't quite understand why the decisions had the effect they had. Also, I don't speak Portuguese so I don't know what the quote at the end said. :/ But, as mentioned before, I like this types of games, good entry!

This game was great! I came across some bugs though - one of my cows/pigs just yeeted out of the game, I may have put too much pressure on the poor animal. :D It just flew of the screen to unknown land somewhere in the forest. But I loved the graphics and music too much! As someone mentioned before me, it really gives the Don't starve vibes. :)
This was so good! It just seemed to hard when the steel stingy blobs appeared, I was over-powered the previous rounds and all of sudden those blobs killed my whole army that haven't really tried to fight back for some reason. But I loved the graphics and the idea a lot!
I really liked this game even though I don't play RPGs that much. It has nice story and some good mechanics! It's great that you can save progress, set the volume and stuff like that, I don't see that often here. :)
First of all, I love the Rage Against the Machine reference! Second of all, great game, loved the sounds, the simple art. Unfortunately, it was a bit too zoomed out and after some time I couldn't click on the villagers - but I guess that was because I pissed them off..? Anyway, good job!
Nice idea but the controls were such a pain in the ass. :D In one level (where you have some kind of "blood pool" and you have to jump out of it and then also pour some blood into the mechanism) I had to give all my blood into the pool and even after that I was able to jump out of it only by chance. :/ I loved the music it just sounded too dark for such a happy-colored game! :D Anyway, nice concept!

Cute little game, I loved the art style! I had some problems with the gameplay - the hitbox seemed broken (monsters cornered me - couldn't hurt me and I couldn't hurt them back) and sometimes I would click like crazy but the character wouldn't attack. I liked it though!
Nice idea but it seems to be too broken. I can't really figure out how it's supposed to work, what I'm supposed to do since the characters hardly react to assignment. At on point I lost all visuals and I only could see dialog windows in top left corner partially hidden behind the box. It was really confusing.
I couldn't choose the power-up I really wanted on first floor. :/ It's a great game anyway - I loved the elevator music!

Awesome game! I absolutely loved the graphics and the whole take on LD44 theme! It was maybe way too hard for my liking, which - as I can see - is totally opposite problem from the first version of the game. :D But still great nonetheless!
This is so hard for such a cute game! :smile: Seemed a bit unfair of the game to take away another heart when you bounce up from something that already hurt you and you cannot control the hamster which floats up to another spike. Otherwise, really nice idea!

I love this type of games! And this was executed so very well! My only two complaints would be: - Don't force me to return to menu and then back to game. Just let me press enter or something so I can try again as soon as possible! Since there is so much accidents waiting to happen, it can be quite frustrating to be forced to do two clicks just to get back to the game - I was quite confused why my truck was losing speed when switching lanes. It seems logical to me if one would remain their speed that they have to change manually. Sometimes this was unpredictable and frustrating.
But seriously, I enjoyed the game so very much, played it for way too long - these were only two problems I had with otherwise great game with great sounds and graphics. Nice job!!!

This take on this theme is so original and so awesome! A loved everything about it! If it were just a bit more smooth, I could see myself listening to an audiobook while playing it over and over again. This was a really nice idea! I actually felt tension and I was nervous to be caught so the atmosphere was on point! The hiding function was a bit confusing at first but after I understood it, it was really simple to play. I loved the lighting - not only visually but also as a warning. Great entry!

This is an incredibly clever idea for this theme! I enjoyed the graphics, the sounds and everything, too bad the controls were frustrating - it took several clicks to hit the hitbox of several buttons.

Fun little game! Would be nice to have some kind of hint/guide of where an when will a certain circle appear so one can plan accordingly. It was be a bit annoying that I lost a life just because a different color spawned right on top of me or immediately next to me without giving me any heads up. Otherwise, really cool idea for this theme - and done in three hours? Impressive!
Ohhh, this game is sooo good! I loved that you control the ship by moving the planets in such a clever way! The sound in combination with the graphics and gameplay created such a chill game to enjoy. Really nice work!

Whoa, I can't believe you managed to do all the graphics during the jam! Amazing, such a beautiful game! It has nice puzzles, it's nice to look at... my only problem was that judging the distance of the button on which we were supposed to put the box was quite difficult.

This was such a nice experience! I got all the story and context I needed in just a few sentences, the map was clear so I wasn't frustrated by it, the time ticking shown in the movement of the moon was a) clear, b) amazingly done... This was a really good game!

Oh, this was a clever idea! I loved the way I could prepare myself for the next lever that could be seen in the background. Also, not kicking the player out of the flow but just pushing him one level back was also a great move! Nice work with the game design!
This was a really nice experience! I loved the concept, graphics, music... The puzzles were really nice, player is nicely eased into the hard ones... It was also so satysfying to just sit back and watch the trains. Great entry!
This was one wild hell of a ride - and I'm here for it. :D It went from kinda ok to - what the hell is THAT! :D It was great, crazy, if only there weren't those annoying clicking noises + if the transitions between rooms didn't take 2-5 seconds. Great effort!
This is a really nice game - great mechanics, visuals, sound, idea as a whole, execution... The only thing that annoyed me a bit was that getting into levels took way too long - I mean the glitchy animations between levels were nice but I'd rather just continue right away than watch it again and again. Oh, end using spacebar for entering a level and then restarting the level was a bit confusing - for the first time I didn't know it's enough to stand at the space with the clock and wait for the animation and end of the level, so I hit spacebar to "submit" aaaand I had to start all over again.

This felt more like an experience than a game - which was pretty cool! I loved the visuals, it was great to look at "everyday, not special" places in a different city. I would love to see other messages from other players + I'd tone down the music, it was owerpowering the voice recordings and was a bit annoying after a while. Otherwise, nice game!

I wasn't able to properly play this one since the controls were all broken. Such a shame, I loved the art, even the animation on the main screen when you click Start was spot on.
Nice little game but the colliders were sooo unforgiving. I nearly rage-quit not being able to clear even the first obstacle. Ugh! :laughing: Otherwise, great game!
This was a really hard one! But I loved the idea incredibly much! Just one thing - getting up/down the stairs was such a pain in the butt, I overshot it so many times and had to come back and try it again. :smile: But at least it was a really nice stairs - the whole game is really nice to look at!

This was a super nice idea for this theme! I loved the art and everything! Just a small problem: In some rooms I'd get caught on an invisible collider that would stop me from moving.
Nice idea with a really charming art! :smile: A liked it, I'd just have two small suggestions: I think it would be fair to auto-click the checkpoints, maybe..? Also, don't stop the player from moving forward for such a long time after the button since it kills the flow for me. :)

@appoxgames There was an end game planned but, well, the time limit screwed us over. :laughing: At the moment, you can get all the upgrades and then just keep watching those cats losing weight - it's surprisingly relaxing (I found myself zoning out from time to time, just looking at the hordes of cats :laughing: )
Nice little arcade! I love the way you get back right to the game after losing all health, no bull****, it just lets you play immediately without breaking the flow too much. I myself didn't see much meaning in going back or forward but I'm sure someone may use it to get bigger score quicker.
Really nice game! I loved the animation of the hamster, that was a clever idea but, as others said, I'd love to visually see him speeding up / slowing down - I missed the satisfying feedback. Otherwise, nice game!

Like - can you make wallpapers out of the game, pretty please? Can you put it on posters? Postcards?
Honestly, I was a bit lost with how the game works. There weren't enough clues that would explain stuff. I did a thing wrong, everything got red but there was no way of knowing if I should restart, if I still work with the ring or if it's locked... I'd like to play it again with little more instructions!
Nice idea but it kind of seemed that once you get just a little bit behind, there's nothing you can do about it. Otherwise it's a good idea for this theme!

Great idea, if only the visuals wouldn't make me so lost and confused all the time. Several times I'd swear I ran into another train and it pushed me to the next level but on another try I barely touched anything and it was a game over. Maybe I just misunderstood the game. :)
Nice little game! I liked the concept but got stuck a few times at the same part (you need to bounce of off multiple ping thingies to get up), my rock would not bounce and would just roll in one place.
The game would kill me without any (noticable?) reason all the time. :( The controls are extremely tricky, the ship was almost undrivable without stopping all the time. Anyways, nice idea!

Whoa, this is such a nice game with a great plot! I loved everything about it really! Sometimes it was a bit hard to understand what those options meant (like what the character would say) or even if I'm supposed to be able to just leave without choosing any option (x-ing the window) but that's such a minor thing. This was a really nice idea but I had quite a few problems with the controls. I've glitched through several doors without realizing I shouldn't be able to (which I realized on later tries). I liked the art!

I loved the graphics of this game, loved the idea of it and everything, I just have few problems as other did: The hitboxes were really unfair in many cases, I would not visually touch anything but I'd still die. The fact that I couldn't see even the next platform was also frustrating - every jump was basically a jump of trust. Many times I'd die just because I couldn't see if there are any spikes on the given platform - or even if there really is a platform. But, you know, it was great to look at so at least I enjoyed the view for a bit longer!
The orientation in the game is a bit confusing but I still liked the idea a lot. Great art!

I love tower defense games! This one could use a bit of balancing because I'd gladly play it for longer - Now, after 5 minutes I'm overpowered. Also, the paths were a bit confusing because it usually indicates the enemies will take those pats... But I loved it a lot, great work!

Very nice entry! I liked the story, if only there were a motivation for me to follow the routine of the character - or break it. I got some clues here and there but since I could not see why would I do it then... why would I do it? On another note, this game is absolutely gorgeous by the way (if only we wouldn't see the other scenes in the background when transitioning to the train). It made the webGL version lag as hell but I didn't mind.

Nice little game! My character would get stuck if I pressed E on stuff I've already done (for example, already got the key from the bathroom, if I press E again, my character stops moving), also switching between E and A to choose the first answer was a bit confusing, but otherwise a really nice idea!

I wish there was a tutorial that would help me get into it. It was quite buggy at times which didn't help much. I often got the vacuuming feedback without obviously hitting the thing I was supposed to vacuum so I was all confused. Liked the art though!

I loved the way you enter the game from the main menu. I'd just change the colors of "(un)mute music" and stuff since it was hard to read this way. Nice game!

I'd appreciate the possibility of restarting the game on any given level - I got stuck on the second level just because all my steps fell while I was showing the walk cycle to someone. Speaking of the walk cycle, I love it. :smile:

This is such a great, adorable game! I had some issues here and there (sometimes, if only quarter of the recycle time was left, I wasn't able to pick up anything and the time was still running) but I loved it even with this small issue. I can't believe you did all by yourself - the whole graphics and everything. Amazing! By the way, my F button was suffering after this game.

This is the most adorable game ever :smile: I had problems getting the dog move but once it started working, it was fine. This is literally like trying to put panda babies in a row for a picture / gather all your kittens to a circle - an impossible task. And that's the best. :laughing:
@cubiclaw I for sure clicked into the game window, several times. :) Then I reset it, clicked into it, tried the controls, nothing, I smashed all the keys and all of sudden, it started moving. I have no idea what happened.

This is a great intro to how a depressed person feels - I do not totally experience it the same way (for example, I won't be able to change the cat's litter not even get out of bed) but I still appreciate the game. Awesome project, I love this kind of games that raise awareness. Thank you!

Nice game, reminded me of the "Google Chrome dinosaur" game and it had the same level of chill, too. Unfortunately, I seemed to lose hearts even when no enemy was in sight - seems like I lost a life when I was holding the space bar too long, my robot jumped twice and that took my hearts. Anyways, loved the game, the art!
This is such an original idea! Haven't seen something like this yet during this game. And the execution is also great! I also loved the way the music changes with the characters.
I wanted to save the puppies but the game was too hard - I always died after 10 seconds. With a little bit of balancing, this would be a great game! I'd also appreciate some kind of tutorial of how big the circles have to be, sometimes only big worked, sometimes a tiny one worked, too. Oh, and one last thing, you start with 100 of marker, but if you lose, the new rounds starts with 0.
Also doesn't work for me :(
