Haha nice entry. I love the humor. I played till i had a score of about 5000. It would be nice if the hammer would catch up if you ran into an obstacle. Overall a solid entry, i really enjoyed playing it :)

So, is this an endless runner? Just see how high my score can go? I liked the music and the pig design and noises. Being able to drop coins was also a nice touch.
Wow! A very good game :D I really like the concept of weight when we pick up a piece :pig:
Thank you guys for your comments, they are really appreciated! :)
@grewoss yeah, it would make sense for the hammer to catch up faster to you when you stop – it's one of those things we thought about having but didn't have enough time implementing. but I'm sure you know this from your own experience :) thank you for playing!
@dk5000p yup, it's an endless runner – you can run for as long as your pig is alive :) we were thinking about implementing leaderboards or highscores so players can see how others are doing, but that turned out to be trickier than we expected. we were still talking about it yesterday though so leaderboards might be coming at some point
@flavienrombouts thank you! (and also, thanks to you, I found out that there is also a piggy emoji! yaay :pig: )
Nice ideas in the game, i also like the games that can be played forever :D. Music and graphics are nice old school. Good Job!
The idea of pickups being essentially bad for you (but also necessary to gain points) is a really nice touch. I think it was a bit too easy though, especially because there were not many different elements to it (like ducking instead of jumping for some obstacles) which made it get repetitive. I stopped playing at 7000. Loved the art though! Especially the decoration in the background made the world seem more alive. Good job on that. :)
I like this game and Piggy is absolutely beautiful! And thrown out coin look funny ;) Thanks for my pleasure :)
The art is beautiful, the music is great, I have to mention those cats on shelves... I love absolutely everything about this game. :D The only thing that would make it better would be changing the difficulty over some time.
Nice runner, with cute graphics and sound.
PICO <3 Very cute. Had to do a few runs to actually figure out that I should press forward to move faster ;).
So cute! Easy to understand and lovely graphics, I especially liked the cats watching! :)
Don't break my piggy, hammer! :D I loved it good job! But i think in the future gameplay must be improved. Keep working and adding new elements it's a retro and enjoyable game. Music is a bit annoying over time.
Capture.PNG I had a long run on the 2nd try, so the easiest way to get score was to sit just above 2 speed so the hammer doesn't catch you and wait for the multiplier. Maybe you should make that the more coins you have the bigger is the poop you make and give more points with the poop rather than the coins so that it encourages the player to get more than 16 coins and be "safe" with 2.04 speed.
The sound was a bit annoying after 15 min but hey it's pretty cool I guess. The art was very appealing
However with this game I feel like the theme "Your food is currency" rather than "Your life was currency".
Anyways, good work and keep it up!
Lovely :)
Oh it took me a while to stop laughing of a pig trying to escape being destroyed for its coins ... really fun idea folks
Hilarious concept and use of theme! love the retro aesthetic as well, cheers
Interesting scoring system, though the game seems a bit too easy to keep playing forever. It would be cool if it got harder as it went on.
Cool pico game. Like others here, I was expecting the hammer to catch up when I hit an obstacle.
reminded me a lot of the early NES games. Both graphics and music. Only a few different levels of difficulty are missing. Congratulations!
I also played a game for LDJAM. Try it, rate it and comment. Please.

I love the concept, but I didn't understand the challenge: if you drop money when you have more than 15 coins, collector never reach you and you can take coin, earn points and drop coin (that gives you more coins) at infinite. Graphics, audio and humor are cool, so nice entry and good job!!!
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my livestream!

Woah time flies with this game. Great idea!
Nice game! I liked the graphics and the idea of the hammer chasing the piggy bank. As others said, I seemed to be able to play forever, as long as I didn't collect too many coins. Getting stuck also didn't prove to be that much of a problem, the hammer didn't catch up very fast. When I finally decided to give up, I expected a little bit more of the hammer smashing the piggy bank. ;)
The music was repetitive, but that didn't bother me too much. I liked how the jump/fall sound and the music sounded together.
When I clicked the Controls button on the right, I was a bit surprised and thought for a moment that it was a 2-player game (that someone would have to move the hammer).
Overall, well done! :pig:
Hello from MFF UK Gamedev! XD
Good game! An interesting and fun idea to do this. :) In general, the... simple gameplay, but with a twist, stylish and catchy music and sound. I like it. Perhaps, some unexpected events could add variety (after 10 minutes of the game, dodging coins becomes a bit routine), but, of course, there was no time for that during the jam.
