well done everyone. nice game
the pixel art and level design is awesome but the controls are a little wonky, only need a little more work to smooth that out and a few added puzzles here and there and it'll be a really good game I bet
*(SPOILERS, read no further) also I love that when you die you turn into so many "alternates" the duck is my favorite
I love the look of this one. :) I thought I was going crazy and misremembering the hair color of my character for a second, and I very quickly realized that you literally were switching character sprites on me! Really nice touch. :ok_hand:
I do feel that the controls are a little floaty for the precise platforming that you're demanding from the player, but overall I had a great time exploring this little lab!
The character is so thirsty for adventure that even when stopping to input a code, wants to keep on going. Jokes aside, some solid work here! I liked the premise and the animations a lot.
I like the atmoshpere of the game. The scope was very ambitious, if you narrowed down the features and rooms you may have been able to limit the bugs. Good job!
Interesting combination of pixel art with more traditional 3D, I think adding some low res textures to the models would really help bring it together. Concept was great and scope was definitely a stretch given the timeframe, great game overall
A very nice game, the graphics and audio come together to really communicate that apocalyptic mood. The changing of sprites between the loops was a nice touch as well.
Nice concept! I really liked the duck sprite xD
Very well done!
I really adore the duck. so cool ! Isometric camera was a fun choice as well. Collisions need to be improved for sure, but apart from that, good job ! It's a really cool idea haha (also character doesnt stop when the dialogue box appears, i died a few times because of that)
Isometric is an interesting choice, but it works here. Love it
I fell quite a few times because of controls (maybe the mix of 3d and 2d made a bit more confusing) but I think if the collisions are fixed and tuned the controls a bit to make it more precise, you could get some amazing game. The rest no complain really, nice artwork, nice humour, and intriguing overall story. Well done!
This was a really nice idea but I had quite a few problems with the controls. I've glitched through several doors without realizing I shouldn't be able to (which I realized on later tries). I liked the art!
great game. Love the graphics and the level design. the game play feels a little too much though: the platformer part feels odd in my opinion.
Great entry overall
Cool idea, I wanted to see more but couldn't get past the room next to the start room. Nice work.
I was NOT expecting the duck hahaha. I was definitely stuck in a loop :D, I kept dying and couldn't figure out what I had done wrong. Big fan of the artwork!
I had some trouble with the controls, but from what i played, lovely graphics and audio. Would love to check this out again if you take it further. Great job!
Unity refuses to load it, is this on my end? EDIT: It worked.
Love the music and the art, big fan of the mallard lol.
The game looks good, audio design is nice, too. I had difficulty finding my path sometimes, animations and collision detection need a little bit more polishing, but overall it's a good game.
controls made me feel unease. the atmosphere was nice. Though I could not proceed but with a try n fail approach. I'd like to see a bit of polishing here and there!
Love the art and the isometric view! Speeding up text with left-click is also a very nice feature.
The game itself was a little buggy though. Besides the ones you've listed, you could also clip under the floor if you stand underneath the trash can at the beginning (Edit: you did list this one) and you wouldn't stop walking if you interacted with something while walking, which made the character walk into a fire when I was still trying to enter a code.
Still, overall, really amazing job! My favorite bit of the game has to be when you die, you can respawn with a new character sprite. The duck sprite made me laugh!
The game feels a bit wonky probably because of the known bugs you and your team stated. Despite the bugs being an issue though, I really like how the camera follows us. It's a really great feature. The speeding text via left-clicking is a bonus too. The reincarnations add a little bit of humor too. The last reincarnation got me LOL. I like the gameplay. Nice job :)
Cool game.. The only thing I would say is the controls are a bit tough to get used to.. But after you get the muscle memory down its good stuff :)
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my livestream!

As others said, controls are quite buggy. I also liked the idea of "respawning" as a different character when you died. Encountered another weird bug, I somehow manage to get through a locked door by simply walking towards it.
I'm a huge fan of the artstyle here... the music is no slouch either. The floating office equipment and piano score definitely give the impression of something just a little bit wrong. Well, that and the fire, of course.
I like the door unlock approach to progression and remembering passcodes from past lives, and the alternating character sprites really sold the gameplay loop for me. That said, I wish you were given more of an idea of what interactibles affect when they are used. I also wonder if the graphics style would benefit from molten terrain geometry that was chunkier (unfiltered textures with a lower resolution) to fit the style of the sprites.
It's a shame that some of the bugs are in the way, but these things happen in a jam. I really enjoyed my time with this entry, and I'd definitely be interested in more for a postjam.
There's an interesting post apocalyptic atmosphere in your game. I like the art and the music, and I was surprised to see new characters while starting again. That was funny. On the other hand I find the Level Design a bit confuse to move in and the control not very clean. Sometimes the character continue to move alone. Anyway. It's a generous entry.
