Absolutely AMAZING, I love how you've handled your art in a way that makes it look like actual pixel art when its full 3d assets. The gameplay is a blast, and I love your loop mechanic, being able to use your corpse to solve puzzles is a great twist.
I really enjoyed the gameplay here, the controls were easy to pick up and within seconds I was a rock repelling pro! I felt like the pickups were infrequent enough to make it challenging but not so infrequent that I found myself with a sliver of a shield and no health at any given moment. I liked the simple graphics, it gave me early atari vibes with some modern day post processing flair. Overall it was a lot of fun!
I absolutely love this, I love how you were able to tie the theme into such a creative premise. 5 stars for days on this one!
Super hard but when you finally solve the puzzle its VERY rewarding, I can see why you would refer to it as the dark souls of this jam! overall it was very well made, I love it.
Hey Newrybenson, we ran in to some unfortunate issues with Unity collaborate that resulted in us losing a devastating amount of work right up at the finish line, we're working on bug fixes for what we could include but we appreciate your feedback!
this might be the first game I've ever rated a full 5/5, incredible work. I can't wait to see more of your work!
I've seen a number of these stack style games this jam but yours so far has been my favorite, I really liked the timer being tied to the height line, that's a clever mechanic. I loved assassass lol, great game overall!
I'm impressed with how fleshed out this is, and I'm a fan of the art. The gameplay was nice as well, but I agree with polymathLD about the jumping, it would have been nice to be able to fire while falling/jumping. A great metroidvania game overall!
I really liked this, the gameplay was nice and simple and the controls were unique, I found that after a few minutes I was just camping the reactor and letting the bots cool the reactor while trying to hit me, I ended up quitting at around 8K points. Overall a very great effort!
Excellent, I really enjoy the graphical style in this game, very well done! I did find myself wanting a little more variation as I played but given what you've accomplished I wont complain about what I got, very well done!
I really liked how you are in the game from the menu, and I absolutely adore the graphics. if I could offer one bit of feedback on the lighting, its really hard to see objects and I have a feeling that may have been by design, but it made it pretty difficult to grab the objects. Also when you turn a corner its almost impossible to grab objects that were facing a different direction. Really well done though, great work!
I really enjoyed this game, the controls were fantastic and I loved the humor! I wouldn’t mind playing a more fleshed out version of the game. Great work!
Excellent game! I loved the gameplay, at first I thought it was just an easy fetch and drop game but after my 3rd server I started to sweat. Loved the end game screen being a pink slip, very clever game all around!
Like the last comment I had issues with the game freezing, I love the art though as well as the music.
I was only able to get to level 3, but holy crap that was fun. My favorite moment was when I dropped a chair and it freaking broke, absolutely genius. All around great game.
@500yearsokawari thank you! The win conditions aren't really clear for sure, something we'll consider in the future. The initial goal is to collect 100 crystals within the time period, but we wanted to see how many crystals people could collect so we set the timer higher than needed to give you as much time as possible to collect, if the timer runs out and you're above 100 you win.
Thank you for your feedback!
I enjoyed it, I'm not very good at it but I enjoyed it
Absolutely excellent, great polish all around. I found myself wanting to save all of the humans and was heartbroken when a botched landing ended 12 lives, but it was ONLY 12...or so I thought. Turns out jumping off of a platform with 50 people aboard your ship is bad, whoops! great entry, an absolute joy to play.
This felt really nostalgic for some reason, I really liked the music as well. Great work!
I love the atmosphere that you've come up with in this, it was more of an experience than a game but I enjoyed it a lot and could see this being a very terrifying game. I would have liked to see a bit more variation in the room you get sent to, and I wasn't exactly sure if I should hide in the closet or not. Great work though, absolutely love the aesthetic of this game!
Absolutely excellent! I loved the overall style of your game, the cards were an interesting twist. I'll admit that I played for about 40 minutes and was only able to craft one monster, despite the difficulty curve I had an absolute blast! One point of feedback, the games title screen doesn't render properly on a 21:9 ultrawide screen in full screen mode, it cuts off the tops and bottom of the game and has default unity sky visible behind your graphics. Great game overall!
Love this game, you'd think that hundreds of years of paper delivery would have resulted in improved systems to secure your payload! Really though I enjoyed the game a lot, it plays well and it's super satisfying to land a jump without spilling your papers everywhere.
I knew I would enjoy this game when I saw the screen shot, as an artist I know that I shouldn't ever judge a book by its cover but I couldn't help it, Awesome work!
There is a good amount of gameplay here, and I really appreciated the fact that its procedural. I do have a few notes of feedback, while I love the artstyle and animations, I did find them to be a little slow, I didn't feel the urgency that someone in my characters position might have, additionally. On the topic of the map, I loved having the map change through each playthough, however it can be a little disorienting having the rooms be facing a different orientation from the door you're going through, for instance if I went through a door in the top left of the room and I cam out facing a room thats going top right. The last piece is more of a nitpick but the text eventually covers the entire screen and makes it hard to see anything, I do love the fact that you've included multiple font options, and its possible that might just be a problem with the blocky pixel font. Overall, I really enjoyed the gameplay!
Like some of the other comments I found the controls to be pretty floaty, and the level design did confuse me a little. Overall I absolutely love the graphical polish of your game, really enjoyed this!
5/5 for on nearly all counts for me, excellent entry! Love the concept of an old busted gameboy being central to the theme of your game.
There isn't much here to speak to, but what I *can* talk about is your graphics, I like em! This looks like it would be an entertaining experience if you have more time to complete it.
I really enjoyed the concept here, and I feel like you hit the nail on the head with your theme, I found myself constantly stressing about the placement of my firemen great work!
I absolutely love the concept, lots to play here. I was a little sad that I ran out of stuff to do! very great entry.
I absolutely LOVE your art style, everything feels so polished! gameplay was pretty fun, I absolutely felt the futility after a few minutes, the entire map was filled with holes and I nearly fell to my death a half a dozen times. Good work
This is a really fund game, I lost a few times because mom spawned between me and my only possible path out; After a few tries though I ended up in the multi-thousands score zone. The music is SO GOOD! I could listen to that on repeat, thanks for letting me play!
Really cool mechanic! I love games that let you draw your spells, I like the fact that you simply let us learn how to do them on our own, however having some sort of reference to help remember what you'd done would be helpful, overall I liked it
@dining-philosopher We had plans to let them help you out but they were just too lazy for us to get them motivated, so they unfortunately just became set pieces. Thank you for the play though!
@tulio Thank you for the feedback, we had a sort order bug on the main menu that we've fixed, If you're still interested in trying everything should work fine now!
@collin-visser Thank you!
@kastaff Thank you, we always try to make it as easy to access as possible!
@teammonumental we figured running out of power wouldn't be how you died in real life, but we ran out of time before implementing an end of the game, if you let either your oxygen or heat shield run out you'll die
Of all of the things I expected to feel from a game jam game, I never expected to actually cry. My parents are both the better part of their 60s and I worry about this all the time. Thank you for the wonderful story.
As for the game, obviously it was very simplistic gameplay, but given that it was just the medium for a very artful story, I think it worked well. I absolutely loved the graphical style you went with here, It felt very appropriate. Excellent entry.
I love your art style here, the game had a fun aesthetic to it, I really enjoyed wandering through the various cars but I just wish there were more of them
I love the art style and sounds for this game, the movement system was really interesting as well. The only opportunistic feedback I have is that there isn't really any input feedback? I'd like to know that clicking on something might do something beyond the icon appearing, pehaps making the icon change to show that you are going to click on it would solve that. Otherwise its a great game :)
I really enjoyed this, so far I think I felt the most stressed out by this game than all of the others I've played. My only feedback is that your icon indicators were not clear in what we were meant to be doing, and having mixed input options without any obvious indication as to what you do for each can be really confusing, great job overall though
This was my best playthrough 1234567.png
very enjoyable, I especially loved the angry customer voice! It did take a while for me to get the controls, but I'm very bad at reading so thats mostly on me.
I rich, yay! Overall I enjoyed this game, the limitations in the kitchen and the dining room made it really stressful, I liked the fact that we had to choose where we put plates wisely so we didn't end up with a counter full of dishes and nobody to grab them. Great entry!
@inno The UI has issues when not in fullscreen for some reason, it was very last minute, so if you don't open the game in fullscreen it will be horribly cut off. As for restocking, it doesn't actually cost anything, upgrading is the only thing that costs money :) I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This was a lot of fun, the music was nice and while the graphics were simple they worked really well. The lack of any indication of an upcoming power outage really amped up the stress! The only feedback that I could give is for user input/experience; Having a two handed input on the keyboard is totally fine, but making the player use the mouse to click on the restart button just slows down the game flow. Aside from that I really enjoyed it!
Absolutely love the art in your entry, I got immediate saladfingers vibes when I first opened it (absolutely a good thing) the environment is quirky and fun, and the gameplay is solid, excellent entry all around!
I calmly jumped around a pleasant platformer. I avoided the dangerous lava. I screamed while I tried to avoid the torrent of grenades, and then I was trampled by a horde of cows. I absolutely love this entry, the graphics, style, gameplay and audio were all excellent. I loved how chaotic this gets, though I did have some trouble with the platforming due to the camera shaking, I feel that it absolutely added to the pandemonium. I could play this for hours.
I was blown away when I realized that the game was actually using an AI to paint what I had drawn, the first time felt like a coincidence, and the second time I was suspicious; But the third time it just wrinkled my brain. I love the overall style of the game, the main mechanic of the game is obviously very solid. Great entry, overall.
Love the rewind effect, Initially I walked directly into lava trying to grab some boots and thought that a tutorial would have been nice but after the first rewind it just immediately clicked. Great use of the main mechanic as a hands off tutorial! Great entry overall.
I really like the idea of this game, and I enjoyed playing it for a solid 10 minutes. I believe that with a little bit more refinement it could be even better! Most of the issues are design related, however there was one near gamebreaking issue; the input doesn't seem to be locked to the gamescreen and when you move your ship it also moves the page. This wouldn't have been an issue if I could make the game fullscreen but that wasn't an option on itch. As for the design suggestions I would randomize where the repair node drops from, having it only spawn in the same spot every time means you spend most of your time trying to make your way to the right side of the screen; Additionally some sort of indicator of when the change is about to happen would be a nice QOL item, but given that this was a gamejam game thats completely understandable. Overall this was a great entry, awesome job!
This is such a great representation of the theme, I'm a sucker for simple games, especially ones that use a 2d+3d aesthetic! Great work
I love this, it's been a while since I had an option for ttrpgs, I had no idea something like this even existed, such a fun experience!
Love the concept, I was able to play until the time reached over 400 seconds and decided to take a break for my wrists sake lol. Its a fun little game!
This was adorable! Loved the artistic style of this, it kind of gives me toejam and earl vibes! Great work!
this was a lot of fun, I noticed the faster the enemies started spawning the more my anxiety was getting worse, it took a few tries but I was able to get through a full bar, great work!
Another gallery game, this is the theme for galleries for sure lol, that being said what a fantastic entry! I love the art style, and had a blast curating the rooms. not the hardest game but it was still a blast.
Interesting concept, I do wish you could go back into the dungeon as I repeatedly accidentally left the dungeon but overall, it was fun
I really enjoy tower defense games, it has a few areas that could use some polish but overall it was a fun entry, and I found myself playing it for upwards of 20 minutes before I had to set it aside.
It's a cute game, I love the South Park esque movement and I'm a sucker for collectables, fun game!
The *atmosphere* holy crap. Some of the trash is pretty difficult to see (near black on black) but I absolutely loved this. very creepy vibe.
Really fun, stressful but I couldn't stop playing which says a lot since I suck at bullet hells
Love the idea, it took a few tries to not end up getting wrecked in the last round, I'd love to see a more polished version with sword animations and upgraded visuals, great entry!
Loved this game! I have something of a soft spot for cozy games and this game is just so nice and chill, I loved the aesthetic, by the time I ended up bothering to unlock the final gallery item I had over 30k. Great entry!
Absolutely LOVED this, the graphics were adorable, the music was catchy, and I loved how the yarn stretches when you jump, very creative entry!
