LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Whack a Mole by Tero Pulkkinen 2020-10-06T09:45:08Z

Nice interpretation of the theme. Some kind of winning/losing mechanism would add more to it (for example time limit or if too many moles escape). I'd suggest also to prevent the player to move off screen and to the mole wheel if that is not the intention. Awesome particle effects!

Toucan's Revenge by AfroAnt 2020-10-06T11:32:23Z

One of my favorite entries so far. Really atmospheric and engaging game with cool pixel art and eerie music. The only drawback for me is that you have to start the set 5 riddles again after failure which is not enjoyable.

System Reboot by Toulou 2020-10-06T12:56:23Z

Atmosphere and art style are awesome. i agree with the others that attacking and enemy design would need some adjusting to make the gameplay more enjoyable instead of frustrating. Maybe less enemies? Nonetheless really good entry :)

360 by stuffed wombat 2020-10-06T15:40:50Z

Very polished and audio-visually awesome game. There wasn't much for a gameplay but well I enjoyed it anyways.

Stuck in a portal by YANIV 2020-10-06T12:29:33Z

Nice little Portal inspired game. I liked the usage of gravity in a 2D environment. Sound and music would add more value to it.

a Damsel a Day by alec 2020-10-06T17:41:00Z

Awesome overall feel on the game. Everything feels really polished, especially the art. I would have liked to see some other mechanics than just running to the damsel and avoiding the train to mix up the gameplay a little bit. All in all an enjoyable game.

Dude Ranch by ColeSlaughter 2020-10-05T16:39:35Z

Really funny and polished game. Art style and sounds are top notch. Controlling the lasso felt a bit wonky at least on the web edition. Enjoyable experience all in all.

Defuse in under 5 by Darylsteak 2020-10-06T08:09:52Z

I really enjoyed this one. Cool pixel art and I liked the overall feel of rush during playing.

TEORT - The Escape of Rabbit Teort by Jan 2020-10-06T08:54:12Z

Cute art style and the music created some tension by the end of the first phase. However in the second part there wasn't much of a gameplay. Cool little game anyways :)

Revenge of the zombie attack by Sabeurre 2020-10-06T17:38:13Z

I liked the animations and the sounds of the game. The characters were pretty small though so it was hard to see what was going on the game. Also after a while on the defending site the only thing you could see was the effect from the weapons. Nice entry anyways and I enjoyed playing it. Is there a way to completely lose the game?

Lasso'em up! by honey 2020-10-12T15:29:04Z

Awesome art style and the gameplay and the controls felt good too. :) I would have liked to see a bit more to the gameplay like more different behavior for the cows and maybe some losing mechanic. For example limiting the amount of lasso you start with. It would also benefit from some sounds or music. However, with the time used for making the game it is really good.

Once More, Dear Friends by GibsS 2020-10-05T17:15:31Z

Awesome little shooter with a nice twist. I really love the pixel art.

Orpheus by Isaac Surfraz 2020-10-06T11:51:12Z

Cool atmosphere and music. I also liked the pixel art. The controls are somehow a bit off and throwing the javelin doesn't work if you are too close to the wall, it just disappears. There might be some bug with the walking animations as pressing left key plays the animation moving right. Also I got stuck to the walls pretty often. With some more polish this would be a neat adventure :)

Traveling the Wild West by Cwazywierdo 2020-10-06T08:37:18Z

Fun game to test your lassoing skills :D I like how easily you can bring variation in a small game just changing how the objects react to the controls. However controlling the lasso felt a inaccurate at least on the web edition. Awesome entry however!

Featherfall by armytag 2020-10-07T13:25:41Z

Cool little game with functioning controls and world. It was like mini-metroidvania game :D maybe the idea could be elaborated even further and make a bit longer version of it. I enjoyed playing it through.

Labrynth by Rockclaw 2020-10-07T07:36:05Z

Awesome level design where you had to think a little bit how to reach the cubes. Jumping was pretty annoying but bearable on a short game like this. I really enjoyed playing this :)

Jungle Jam by Daxic 2020-10-06T12:45:20Z

Nice roguelike survival game with fluid controls and awesome art and music.

Undead Carnival Carnage by dummydojo 2020-10-06T14:31:35Z

Must the most polished game so far that I have encountered in the jam. I really love the art, music and the overall feel of the game. The controls are also top notch. The last wave is pretty hard :D

Inside the Planet by victor_reiner 2020-10-06T15:50:21Z

Cute game where you are literally stuck in a loop. Feels really polished and well thought.

Pete Repeat by ChilleBigPP 2020-10-06T11:10:01Z

Amazing atmosphere and gameplay mechanics. Controls are tight and dying is your own mistake. However as others mentioned taking one hit to die and restarting the whole game is a bit too unforgiving and repeating the same things again become tedious. Awesome pixel art and soundtrack. I would play again once crashing issues (crashed also during gameplay not only when clicking play) are fixed. Good job!

Age of Amperes by JHax 2020-10-06T08:19:50Z

Awesome idea for a puzzle game and I really liked the audio and the art. Good job!

I want to go by Bithellio 2020-10-06T17:25:42Z

The game has some cool ideas such as utilizing the death to proceed. the signs were super annoying as you had to be on an exact spot to see them so they kept appearing and disappearing all the time. Sound didn't work for me either. A bit more polishing and it is a nice little puzzle platformer :)

Keyspace by Jon Topielski 2020-10-06T12:20:27Z

Really original idea for a puzzle game. I had fun playing it :)

Rewind Dungeon by FishMasterino 2020-10-07T11:25:02Z

I love the idea and the overall feel of the game. The art and the music is top notch. As others have said, the time to analyze the second level is a bit short and the game becomes a bit frustrating when just have to run to the exit of the first level to see the second level again. Awesome job nonetheless!

Dungeon Déjà Vu by Gudner 2020-10-07T11:10:02Z

Cool idea for a puzzle game. I would increase the player speed as now it feels a bit dull when it takes ages to get to the other side of the level as the other game mechanics are more like trial and error. On the first level, if you push the box too hard it doesn't land on the button and just disappears. On the second level once you push the second box on the top left and try to get back the player just falls and doesn't appear on the other side. When going to the other direction the box gets stuck on the small bridge before the green button so I couldn't get pass the second level. Other than that I liked the art and the audio of the game. With more polish and bug fixes this could be interesting puzzle game.

Sinner's Hotel by ElllaDee 2020-10-07T15:24:59Z

Nice idea and fits perfectly to the loop theme. I agree with the others that the distances between the doors became more annoying than funny when you had to repeat them especially that there wasn't any clue for the correct answer so it was just 50/50 chance to continue. On the other hand I really liked the feel of the game and the pixel art and music was really nice. Good job!

The Myth of Sisyphus by Zuvr 2020-10-07T12:37:12Z

Cool idea for a game and I liked the art style and the player animation :) However the controls doesn't seem to work really well. The character gets stuck with his hands up after throwing the rock and cannot do anything for a while. Also the screen shaking becomes annoying really fast. Maybe a bit less would do? The only crow I saw was at the very beginning and it killed me instantly without time to react. After some more polishing it would be a nice little game.

Project L.O.O.P by PeteH 2020-10-06T16:12:37Z

Your game has a great atmosphere and sounds. I liked the level layout also. However it was a bit unintuitive to know where to go next. Great entry tho :)

The final loop by IndieQuest 2020-10-06T10:27:26Z

Cool idea and interpretation of the theme. After some balancing (once you understand the mechanics it was really easy) and more waves and enemies this would be a nice timekiller :)

Wyle's Loop by Tryston 2020-10-06T14:19:08Z

Nice little platformer where you have to change your approach every time you reach to the end. For me the controls became a bit annoying after a while as the character tried to wall jump every time I was jumping somewhere. Nonetheless good job! :)

Linfinite by Notinatal 2020-10-06T09:31:39Z

Cool idea for a puzzle game and nice interpretation of the theme. I really liked the minimalist art and the music.

Sisyphean Wisdom by ZedPoirier 2020-10-06T16:39:03Z

Cool sounds and rolling effects but the game itself was really short and there wasn't much of a game play.

GHOST FROM JAIL by Gilad Bar Ilan 2020-10-05T17:47:50Z

Cool little game with catchy music and cute graphics. Becomes a bit hard really fast as the shooting is a bit slow and you have only one life.

While(true) by iorena 2020-10-06T10:03:27Z

Fun little game with nice pixel art. The interpretation of the theme was cool and the core gameplay mechanics were nice. However controlling the robot in realtime with keyboard became frustrating really fast. All in all good job!

GOD SAVE US!!! by Kolocop 2020-10-06T07:53:01Z

Cool tower defense game with working theme and minimalist yet functioning graphics. Sounds effects became a bit too dominating after a few rounds.

Loopin' Looie by MatthewDavisGames 2020-10-05T17:54:24Z

Nice platformer with relaxing music and cool visuals. Do the coins have some function?

Stuck in the Red by ShadowwolfTPW 2020-10-07T12:51:30Z

Congratulations finishing your first game :) That is always the hardest. I liked the player sprite and running animation. However the game is almost unplayable as the controls are really floaty and the player gets stuck to the enemies. Also, the animation states doesn't fit to the controls pressed as the attack animation keeps playing even though you are trying to run. I didn't really get what I was supposed to do as there was no punishment for dying and you reached the epilogue just standing and waiting to be killed. With more responsive controls and fluid action you could improve your game a lot and actually make it playable and that way also enjoyable. I would suggest to try to get one feature to work before adding too many others.

Looped Fellas by BukkakeTears 2020-10-06T16:05:55Z

Wow! Really disturbing game but somehow still in a good way. Love the art style.

The Cult of Kinifell by Garrett Switzer 2020-10-07T11:56:30Z

I really liked the atmosphere of the game. Also the animations are really cool. However on my try the cave was basically empty and the few cultist that I encountered didn't feel threatening at all as just pointing the flashlight to them killed them (maybe I missed some part of the cave as it was pretty big). On the second try a bunch of cultist spawned really close and I was caught. On the third try I was caught even though the cultist I encountered was burned (EDIT I just read the note and was most likely due that). On the fourth try I found 2-3 cultists and the exit and I won :D With more balancing and polishing this could be cool little survival horror game. The use of lights and sound was really nice. Good job!

Lost Caravan by spacecadet 2020-10-06T16:26:33Z

Thanks for the feedback everyone, we really appreciate it :)

@eldelhas The loop was intended to be when you choose wrong path and are forced to restart the current level. So in a way you are stuck in a desert until you find your way out. On the other hand when you die the level and the correct path might be different.

Lost Caravan by spacecadet 2020-10-08T20:48:05Z

Thanks again for all for the nice feedback!

Yeah I agree that the hitboxes are a bit too big. However, @bredera and @fc85057, if you took hit clearly away from the enemies, could it be that your hydration level had dropped to 0? In that case you will start taking damage also until you find another water skin. If not then the hitboxes are completely broken on some enemies :D

Lost Caravan by spacecadet 2020-10-12T14:55:58Z

@honey Thanks for the detailed feedback. I'd like to clarify some of your points. First, yes the level changes when you die but not when you choose the wrong path. In that case you just start the same level again with the same health and hydration. So you have to memorize the correct route or follow the visual clues (not the water skin but the skulls, wagon tires and foot prints which however could have been more obvious). Once you realize this it shouldn't be too hard to get to the caravan which means also that there is an end. :)

I cannot say much about the controls and the inertia as it is more a matter of personal taste but the speed of the player stays the same during the gameplay. It might feel a bit laggy with slower computer or bad internet connection but the speed stays the same nonetheless.

We thought that it would have been enough of a hint in the description to say that "...and remember to stay hydrated" for a player to understand that collecting water is essential to stay alive. I agree that some visual hint would be nice to have too.

The colliders are too big yes. Something like what you draw would be more player friendly as now the players collider resembles more the whole sprite than just the legs. The enemy colliders are pretty much how you imagined, maybe a bit bigger.

Collateral Damage by Michael Parrish 2020-10-06T15:56:05Z

Really engaging small game with a philosophical touch to it. I love it. Really hard though

Wazzupo by Harrison Keller 2020-10-07T13:14:16Z

The idea is pretty nice and enjoyed playing it through. I would have liked to see more puzzles about killing the slime not just putting the slime on your own as there wasn't any challenge in that. In most of the rooms you just spammed a slime until the door opened. Some audio would add a lot value to it. However a nice entry :)

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

MINOTOAD by MarkoPoloDev 2021-04-26T17:01:23Z

Awesome little dungeon crawler. Graphics were simplistic but they fit very well to the atmosphere of the game. Also nice variation in the enemy design.

BLAST MINER by SuperGamersGames 2021-04-26T16:46:10Z

Nice and simple yet satisfying gameplay. I also like the art style and the audio of the game. The enemies spawn maybe a bit too fast or there could be some kind of health system instead of instakill as the game is pretty hectic and you can lose control pretty fast. Overall an awesome entry

Jotun by cninja_ 2021-04-28T19:31:29Z

For me there is potential to be something in the future if you keep developing. I really liked the pixel art and the feeling of isolation. Keep up the good work

Nice Fall by Nice Gear Games 2021-04-28T18:34:25Z

Awesome little game there. Didn't try the multiplayer but playing against cpu was really satisfying

Worlds Below by Cakestorm 2021-04-27T19:35:26Z

Awesome art and atmosphere. The game started out nice but I lost interest soon as I kept dying because the controls were not really intuitive. I stayed however for the awesome graphics. Well done :)

Escape into the Abyss by Raeino 2021-04-28T18:39:12Z

Interesting idea and the graphics are really nice. Would benefit support for full screen or for smaller resolutions.

LD49 — Unstable

Stabilized by dylanilvento 2021-10-10T18:42:00Z

I am not sure if the game made much sense but the idea is pretty cool :D For me the controls felt a bit too floaty and the horse kept going when I thought it would have stopped. The graphics are pretty cute and fit really well to the game.

right stuff aerospace by chromableedstudios 2021-10-09T07:32:01Z

Congrats on finishing your game. It kept me playing little while even though controlling the ship felt a bit weird and the shooting direction didn't make much sense to me. The enemy assets could stand out more from the background as now a few times I died and didn't really know what had hit me. Is it never ending game or is there an end if I'd keep playing?

Keptin, de core is unstable! by Shigor 2021-10-08T13:48:03Z

I think this was the funniest game so far. Awesome voice acting.

Sky Burns Red by nardandas 2021-10-09T19:44:06Z

Simple yet engaging gameplay mixed with awesome music. What else can you hope for from an awesome jam game? Also the visuals add up nicely making it one of the most interesting games of the jam. Good job!

Unfairly Unstable Unfun Game by Alexthehuman2 2021-10-09T15:59:55Z

Well the name summarized it up pretty well :D

Core:Unstable by eyedromeda 2021-10-08T13:33:33Z

Hahah nice game. We were toying with really similar idea first but ended up with more fast paced approach. The graphics were cool as well as the sound design. The water tank a bit hard to control when the lights turned out but overall cool game :)

Capt'n Slippy by emrod 2021-10-08T17:45:46Z

Nice little game. Controlling the character was pretty annoying and the game was difficult mostly because of that which I didn´t like that much. Apart from that the visual style and the audio was really nice and there was feeling of danger in the air. Overall a good entry in my books :)

I. Want. Cheese. by VirtualMan52 2021-10-10T18:35:34Z

Interesting idea for a game mechanics but I almost gave up already on the first level as the red blob got just stuck to either of the sides and breaking stuff was almost impossible. I kept trying however as I liked the really smooth animations and the clear graphics. I was able to pass a few levels and then the it got stuck again so I gave up. With a bit of polishing on the pathfinding this could be really interesting puzzle game. I'd also increase players walking speed as it felt a bit slow. Anyways really cool entry :))

A day in a life of an electric spaceship owner by spacecadet 2021-10-11T20:02:59Z

Thank you all for playing our game and giving us precious feedback!

@alex-chertilin Did you make sure that the ship was plugged in as much as possible? If not, it won´t charge and you will eventually blow up with the factory.

@zanedd @aymarx @benk We though that with reading the controls from the description the rest would be self explanatory (ie. water to fire, wrench to broken stuff, plug the cable when it disconnects) but apparently it wasn't.

@benk @sakura-magika Yeah the sparks in the spaceship are a bit miss leading as you cannot interact with them with the wrench. You are supposed to just press spacebar near it and it will connect the cable back in.

@sakura-magika You can waste the water or use the wrench on nothing, just not when near other some other tool or the cable. It is frustrating however and I wanted to fix it but we run out of time (the classic problem :D )

@nicekot @eyedromeda I noticed the problem with the ladders also now that I had a week break playing it. They seemed just fine when I was testing during the jam :D But well, they could definitely be bigger as well the rest of the colliders to be able to pick stuff easier while running.

Core Weapon by ThatANoNoWord 2021-10-09T07:42:38Z

Nice game you have there. It had that panic feel later on when all the buttons had appeared and it was fun. I think the beginning is pretty slow as there is just that one button and shooting is really slow. I agree that some indication apart from the speed on the projectiles would be nice to show the effects of the buttons (ie. color, size or something like that). Apart from that really cool game.

Don Muchacho: Vigilante by javi7 2021-10-09T15:45:31Z

WTF did I just play? :D very interesting entry with well working game mechanics and funny voices. I am not really sure how this represents the theme though. Overall a nice game.

Destructo by JPGFG 2021-10-08T14:42:19Z

This reminds me a lot Into the Breach which is really good thing :D The mechanics worked really well and the runs were fast and satisfying and the randomness gives replayability. The music was fitting also. I would have liked to see more enemy types and variation in the levels but with the given time really really good entry. Good job!

Penduka by LeYaoTang 2021-10-08T12:14:02Z

Your game has nice music and sounds but for me also it was really unclear what I was supposed to do in the game so I didn´t get engaged for really long time.

Wabba-Jakku by Scrawach 2021-10-09T15:38:03Z

Funny little game. The graphics were really nice and voice acting surprising. However gameplay became irritating after a few laughs because it was so unpredictable and didn't really encourage to continue or to try again. Apart from that I really liked the mood the game set.

The Lonely Ghost by firetaku 2021-10-09T07:55:40Z

Good job finishing your first game! For me it was not very clear what was the goal of the game apart from jumping on the platforms (I mean for example who were the people on the building and why should I care proceeding on the levels?). The audiovisual side was really good and it set good atmosphere to the game. Instakill when moving to wrong direction was a bit confusing in the beginning and doesn't encourage trying different things. Anyways, keep up the good work! :)

Save the Sun by RumiaObsessed 2021-10-10T17:50:18Z

Very cool and polished game. I really liked this one even though it was pretty simple game mechanics-wise. The minimap was really cool and useful for playing. Well done! :)

Glitch by Ozfolo 2021-10-08T16:30:49Z

Funny idea how the levels are constructed. That could be developed even further adding more features for each type of the object so you would have to change your playstyle completely when the level changes. It would have been great to be able to start over the level instead of whole game after dying and some music or sounds effects would make the experience much more enjoyable. Otherwise good job!

Crumbly Castle by Tuile 2021-10-09T15:50:58Z

The music in your game was really nice and it set nice beachy mood. I wasn't able to build any sandcastle however as E didn't do anything. As others have mentioned, I had also problems with crab hitboxes. A bit more polishing and this could be improve a lot :)

Shipwreck! by astrochili 2021-10-08T16:39:33Z

Cool little game. The jumping felt satisfying and levels were short and compact which was nice. However there could be some kind of punishment for drowning maybe. After few deaths I didn´t care anymore doing the jumps accurately as I spawned immediately where I was before.

In the later levels I somehow managed to float away from the screen and the camera didn´t follow anymore making the game unplayable.

bug.PNG

Claw by OfTheBrand 2021-10-08T13:25:23Z

The grabbing mechanic worked well but the game was over really fast and there wasn´t much challenge. I agree that adding more levels would make it more fun. Nice entry anyways.

High-Rise Havoc by Kyrell 2021-10-08T18:01:06Z

A solid entry! The platforming felt good and the controls were tight enough to blame yourself and not the game for dying. The audiovisual side was also good. Why is Bob's office filled with spikes tho? :D

BouncyCake by NPr0nn 2021-10-08T11:53:41Z

Nice game that has great feel in general. The controls took some time to get used to. I didn't get pass the second level either without changing it from the level menu. Overall a great entry.

A Spelling Error by Naymsayk 2021-10-08T12:08:28Z

Cool idea for a game but it was a bit confusing to get started. I don´t think I have seen voice acting before in a LD game. Nice entry and for me there is potential.

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Wicked Wilds by peringo 2022-04-06T17:40:39Z

I think there is some problem with the scaling of the web version (or is the full screen button missing?). At least I can see just one part of the instructions and when the game starts it is hard to see anything as the inventory is blocking 1/3 of the screen. For the same reason it was really hard to pick anything from the ground and advance in the game. The graphics look really nice though and I think the idea fits to the theme well. :)

Earworm Jam by ursagames 2022-04-05T14:08:25Z

Wow that was interesting. The soundtrack was hilarious and the art was weird in a good way. Running faster didn't feel very intuitive after running to the rhythm but maybe that's just me.

Dragpocalypse by Bodmass 2022-04-04T17:03:43Z

It was maybe a bit unclear what to do in the beginning especially if you choose shade as the first upgrade as it seemed all you could do was running around and try not the get hit with the monsters. I think it would have been more enjoyable with less enemies or with more powerful or faster upgrades also (at least in the beginning). Once you become more powerful it becomes funnier to play. I liked the weird setting and the pixel art was neat :)

Hold it! by island-jam-2-group-3 2022-04-04T17:37:55Z

What did I just play? :D Simple but fun.

It Burns by TescoOne 2022-04-06T18:20:39Z

Nice game that kept me hooked for some time. I would suggest adding some other option for dash button as it was a bit uncomfortable now (maybe it is just me). Randomization of the level was nice also so it kept the gameplay interesting even if you failed.

Doomed Drone Defence by Skyward4d 2022-04-04T16:33:59Z

Cool defense game that kept me engaged pretty long. The progress felt nice by buying the upgrades and gradually I was able to survive more.

Tick, Tick, BOOM by Petunia Games 2022-04-05T14:36:03Z

Cool game. I liked the feeling of rush it gives you. The art was also neat and it felt really polished entry. It was a bit confusing sometimes when the people were running through the objects and you had to go around them.

Stop The Watch by Calzone407 2022-04-04T17:12:58Z

For me it seemed to be working. I just didn't really understand what was the point of starting the clock again by myself if the goal was to keep it stopped. The simplistic art worked well and the background music was catchy. Cool that you included tutorial.

Kinderkaos by Gravityflip 2022-04-05T14:24:09Z

Oh my god that was awesome. My favorite so far. It fits to the theme really well and was funny. The audio and pixel art was also really good. The movement felt a bit slow but maybe then it would have been too easy. Why aren't there doors on the building tho? :D A great entry overall

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Ravenous by dusho 2022-10-07T16:54:35Z

Nice entry overall. I also think that the movement was a bit slow and mainly because of that I didn't have patience to play too much.

Tiny Jukebox by bobo_oh 2022-10-05T15:30:43Z

Such a good mood game. Incredibly polished and awesome soundtrack. Three lives was a bit too few for so many songs for someone like me who sucks at rhythm games. Anyway awesome game.

10 second base by Stratcat66 2022-10-07T17:49:05Z

Easily one of my favourites so far that I have played here. Really addictive and solid gameplay. Good job!

Yes, Comrade. by Hugimugi7 2022-10-06T13:54:00Z

Wow! This is absolutely amazing. Hard to believe it was made during 72 hours. The amount of content and polish is huge.

Death Factory by Cataractar 2022-10-04T14:23:46Z

Really cool and polished entry. In the beginning it was a bit confusing what to do until I realized what kind of game it was. I really enjoyed playing it and multitasking to keep the cultist alive while solving the game kept me on the edge all the time.

Tumbletris by JavaSaurus 2022-10-07T16:06:26Z

Really cool game. The core mechanics are something fresh and you have to think to the future as well and not just smash the zombies aimlessly.

CHAOS CONDUCTOR by Cope 2022-10-07T16:30:52Z

Cool game! I liked the graphics and the sound design. I think the players projectiles could be a bit more visible and maybe start out a bit less enemies. They become overwhelming really fast.

Lucky Lefty Lost In A Labyrinth by TheBookSnail 2022-10-05T16:19:56Z

By far my favorite from the games I have played here. Simple idea but the puzzles are great and they kept me engaged till the end. In my opinion it worked better without the timer and the falling tiles. Great job!

Chicken Golem! by T C 2022-10-05T16:48:44Z

Cool idea for the game and fits the theme well. I didn't the instakill enemy traps but luckily you are not forced to restart the whole level.

Empty Hands by craftmuch 2022-10-07T15:52:12Z

Well what did I just play? Weird and creepy but in a good way.

Home R.I.P.airs by JoyKangpae 2022-10-05T16:29:09Z

Fun little game. It was pretty easy most of the time so the last part where everything broke at the same time felt a bit unfair. Overall a nice entry. Makes perfect sense to fix a cake with a hammer :D

10 Seconds Or Less by RTDMFN 2022-10-04T14:32:50Z

Nice game that fits the theme really well. Maybe a bit easy once you get used controlling the car. For the size of the map 10s is a lot of time. I really liked also the graphics and and the music really well also.

Phemie's Fable by Austin Law 2022-10-05T16:38:10Z

Cool game that keeps you interested a good while. I really liked the atmosphere, artwork and the music. I think it fits pretty well to the theme also. Great job!

Area 51 by Bdiaztobarra 2022-10-07T15:58:47Z

Pretty cool game with amazing music. I think it would benefit from some aim cursor and brighter bullet to see a bit better the direction where I am shooting. Overall a nice entry.

Countdown Crusaders by Slothzilla Games 2022-10-07T15:31:12Z

Really fun game. Balancing between the risks and rewards was satisfying and it never felt that I made really a bad choice no matter what I chose. I think it would benefit from full screen button or scalable resolution. At least I wasn't able to see the whole screen properly with my screens. Is there supposed to be limits to sides of the level or camera following the player. It was a bit awkward to walk off screen. Overall really enjoyable game. Good job!

Is this your Order? by martinboue 2022-10-05T17:16:33Z

As the others have also said, for me it was also unclear where to get the food let alone remember who was who. Maybe it could have worked better in a smaller scale with a few persons and one restaurant. Then maybe on later levels add more persons once the player is familar with the mechanics and the first 3 or so characters.

10 Seconds, 9 Lives by Joe Bevis 2022-10-05T17:25:57Z

Great visuals and soundtrack. A bit repetitive after a while but fun to play anyways.

For Greater Good by BayLock 2022-10-07T15:39:11Z

Maybe a bit confusing in the beginning how the mechanics work but once you get the grasp of it it was pretty funny. Might benefit from a bit more variation on the levels or the a amount of the ghosts. Overall a solid entry.

Helloween Survivors by MerlinPerlin 2022-10-05T15:17:26Z

Simple idea but really fun to play. The difficulty ramps nicely and there were a nice amount of powerups. Good job!

Not Late, Or Early by ShaunShepherd 2022-10-04T14:42:01Z

Addicting game. I really liked the pixel art and the hectic feeling of packing the stuff. First I though I could pack any stuff shown on the box so some indication of the order would have been helpful to avoid confusion. Overall a really nice entry. Good job!

Cardiac Coup by jamersjam 2022-10-05T15:24:33Z

Simple game that somehow makes you want to keep playing after failing.

Cockroach Hooray by NickPick 2022-10-07T16:16:11Z

Cool little game. I liked the simple artwork but maybe the cockroach could be a bit bigger or more visible. I think it might need some balancing also. When the lights turned off it was really easy to get to the cheese if you remembered the route. I think I got caught just once with the light out. Nice entry anyways.

Sort Me Right Out by omphh 2022-10-05T15:43:24Z

This reminds me a lot of Wilmont's warehouse and it is not a bad thing :D Really addictive and stressing game.

LD52 — Harvest

Smoothie Operator by Dining Philosopher 2023-01-12T17:26:39Z

Nice idea for a game. Though it feels a bit too fast and I didn't have enough time to memorize where the fruits went so it was more guessing.

Crisis in Banana Republic by one-seed-fruit 2023-01-09T16:56:57Z

Cool idea for a puzzle game and the falling off from the screen was cool visual trick on the itch page. The pixel art and the audio were also cool. I really liked this one. Maybe there could have been a few simpler levels in the beginning to let the player get the hang of the game.

Alien's Brain Farm by agusmao 2023-01-09T16:43:28Z

Quite creepy (in a good way) and fits to the theme. Maybe a bit too much waiting to my taste and I wasn't able to proceed after delivering the first brain as the humans stopped reproducing. Maybe I missed something?

Initial Harvester by profan 2023-01-12T14:54:57Z

Quite fun. Some kind of meaningful goal would have been nice though. The visual worked really well. Good job!

REAVER by egawag 2023-01-12T18:25:50Z

I am not used to see that polished 3D environments in a game jam so well done. On the other hand the enemy design felt a bit dull. However a cool game which could be turned to something even better with more time.

Dreamcatcher by 6smith 2023-01-12T15:03:58Z

Cool game and nice idea around the theme. I really liked the graphics and the audio. In the beginning controlling felt a bit weird but I got used to it pretty fast. I would suggest making some of the monsters a bit more visible. Is there an ending? Or just when you die? Maybe the dreams could start coming a bit faster as you play to keep you on the edge? Overall really good entry in my books.

A Walk in Nature by SplitPainter 2023-01-12T17:22:28Z

You have created really relaxing atmosphere and I think there could be potential when adding purpose to the actions you do.

Plátano Cosecha by MrPiedPiper 2023-01-12T18:09:27Z

Nice and simple mechanics which result to a working gameplay. Good job

Sky Harvest by vrerabek 2023-01-12T16:11:42Z

Addictive gameplay combined with cool pixel art. What else you can hope? A bit too unforgiving hitboxes to my taste but overall nice game especially for such a short time.

We Harvest as One by Ben Toosey 2023-01-09T17:31:24Z

This is awesome. Simple yet satisfying gameplay and the puzzles became more difficult in a good pace I think. Love the art also. Good job!

N.O.A.S. by JudJudson 2023-01-12T16:04:31Z

I liked the visuals and the sound design in your game. I think the time window for harvesting the plants was too short and my runs ended up really fast because of that.

Farm to Table: Wizard Edition by fc85057 2023-01-12T15:56:15Z

Cool idea but the controls were not too intuitive and prevented me really to enjoy playing. The customer voices and and character art was pretty neat though. The gameplay felt a bit rushed and a lot of customers were coming immediately after starting. Maybe a bit slower pace could work. However a nice entry.

Harester by spacecadet 2023-01-11T20:00:07Z

@candlesan Thanks for the feedback. That is actually me barking :joy:

@jober @found-bow-tonight @joey-shipley @ben-toosey @secrt101 @shaunyeap Thanks a lot for playing and commenting :)

Harvest by Oiluuuj 2023-01-12T18:19:29Z

You have a nice base for a game there. I think it is lacking a bit of information to the user what is happening. From time to time my character popped to the center. Did I beat the game? Or die? Some music or audio would be nice also. I liked your pixel art and the character movement felt good also.

Frosty Forestry by Martta 2023-01-11T20:23:37Z

Surprisingly satisfying gameplay even if it is super simple. The rocks were annoying but I guess that was on purpose as there didn't seem to be any other ways to fail. I really liked the art and the audio also. Overall nice entry in my opinion.

Night of the Zombie Chickens by Jonqs 2023-01-12T15:14:05Z

Quite fun game. Some feedback for crushing the chickens would add a lot to it as would some background music. Maybe some tasks during the day would keep the player busy instead of just driving around. Overall good job

Farmerization by DancesWE 2023-01-12T17:50:43Z

Well working farming mechanics but I think it really needs the phase 2 to be keep you hooked for more than a minute.

North 78 by fizzbark 2023-01-12T14:42:54Z

I really like the atmosphere, graphics and the sound design in your game. Though it felt that the gameplay mechanics were there just because and for example guiding the deer was ignored right after the first level and new mechanics introduced. However with some fine tuning and refining some of the mechanics and building the tension for a little longer I think this could be really awesome survival horror game. Good job.

World's Best Soul Harvester by SephoWepho 2023-01-09T17:15:23Z

Platforming felt pretty good and the art is neat. It didn't make much sense though that you die or respawn from falling somewhere if thats where you are supposed to go later after passing some checkpoint.

Harvestracks by LucDeligne 2023-01-12T16:21:49Z

Wow that was pretty fun. Kind of playing twister on the keyboard against time. Really stressful but fun. Some music or audio would be nice. Otherwise really cool game.

Overgrown! by ADerpyChickenStudios 2023-01-12T17:41:47Z

Cool little platformer. The growing plant mechanics seems like an interesting idea and a tool for some nice puzzles. For me the controls felt a bit clunky but maybe thats just me. How come such a small game is more than 200mb??

Harvest Net by YoungArtifact 2023-01-11T21:01:33Z

The controls felt tight in your game and picking up the fruits was satisfying. Is there any goal in the game? Or way to lose? It became quite boring after a picking up a few fruits as it didn't progress anywhere. The main menu music would have been nice during the gameplay also I think.

Data Harvest by LookLeftStudio 2023-01-12T16:58:33Z

Cool idea I think. It was a bit unclear for me what to do in the beginning as the screens kept changing without any indication of your goal. I would suggest moving the tutorial text in the beginning of the game instead of the end. Some sounds or music would make it more enjoyable too. Anyways I liked the visuals and the minigames worked pretty well too. A solid entry I'd say.

Buzzy Business by amarokczukay 2023-01-12T16:50:46Z

Delivers the the summer annoyance in the countryside perfectly. Well done :D The gameplay felt satisfying but I didn't really get why the game kept speeding up and slowing down.

Wheat Reaper by oleg20111511 2023-01-12T18:33:38Z

The story was really funny. Damn greedy farmer. For me the harvesting animation felt a bit slow with the delay before the harvesting happened. Would have been nice if there was some goal or "conflict". Now I didn't find much purpose why keep harvesting.

Feeding Time at the Church of the Cosmic Void by Alex de la Cour 2023-01-12T15:39:54Z

One of my favorites so far. The pixel art and the animations were amazing and gameplay mechanics felt well thought. However I think controlling Ernest wasn't so intuitive. Often times he didn't react to the controls and just kept running to whatever hazard was ahead. However really cool entry.

Hopping Harvester by ntb896 2023-01-11T20:41:02Z

Really satisfying gameplay for such a simple mechanics. I was surprised that the walls or the ceiling didn't kill you even if it was similar to the floor which kills you. The simple graphics, music and sounds worked really well too. Good job!

Wickerman by Ivorius 2023-01-09T16:49:24Z

Quite creepy atmosphere and the visuals are really nice. For me controls felt a bit clanky and dragging was bit confusing in the beginning as there was no indication that something was happening without moving. Overall a nice entry.

Wickerman by Ivorius 2023-01-11T19:55:58Z

@ivorius Yes I for me attacking felt a bit clanky. There is a delay between pressing the attack button and the actual attack happening in the screen which didn't feel very fluid. Many times the enemies ran away before the attack hit them even if I was close to them while pressing the attack button. I also think flipping the sprite would be nice so that the attack animation goes to the same way where you are attacking. Anyways those are not game breaking things. Hope this helps :)

The End Of The Art As We Know it by paci 2023-01-11T20:26:24Z

Maybe a bit confusing how everything works but the art style and the audio really works on your game. Overall a cool game.

Space Farmers by BonzoMu 2023-01-11T20:33:24Z

I was a bit confused if I was supposed to the shoot the small moving things or just the whales? If just the whales then maybe the spawn rate could be a bit higher as it felt like I had to wait a lot for one to appear. I liked the art though and moving the farmer felt good.

Harvest Shroom by Achilnos 2023-01-12T16:44:00Z

Cool graphics and music. The gameplay didn't feel quite intuitive to me. I wasn't really able to figure it out what was the difference between the different mushrooms and which to pick up in order to survive. Anyways I think it is a good idea and it plays well so well done.

A Bad Harvest by AnotherPete 2023-01-12T18:14:09Z

Nice little game. The farmer movement felt really unexpected which ended up the runs pretty quickly. The jumping felt a bit off with the small delay between the jumps. Anyway a nice entry.

Largest Harvest by Naychar 2023-01-12T17:55:04Z

Really simple gameplay but it was fun to play once. Some music or sounds would add more to it. It also crashed when there was the game over screen.

Soul Harvest by serg-z 2023-01-12T18:02:20Z

Souls collecting animation is really satisfying and controlling the character felt fluid. First I was dodging the humans there but soon realized that they don't do anything. Adding some kind of threat or would keep the gameplay more interesting. Now there doesnt seem to be any goal why to harvest all those souls apart from getting the better weapons. I would also suggest removing the dying sound as it becomes very dull after hearing it 100000 times. Anyways I enjoyed checking it out :)

LD54 — Limited Space

SHITTY GARDEN by Sublustris 2023-10-05T09:47:17Z

The gameplay was pretty satisfying once you get the hang of it. However I didn't really understand how it is related to the theme or why the gnome would collect the bat poo. Some audio would give it a nice boost.

Spellfire by quadtree 2023-10-05T11:25:56Z

Pretty fun game with lots of different spells. I cannot get past the level 4 because the mentioned feedback spell doesn't appear and I get ripped with the opponent in one or two turns.

Cybermaze by notime4games 2023-10-05T13:49:37Z

Really nice take on the theme. Having limited resources to discover new areas was a cool mechanic. I would have loved to see some more content there or maybe some puzzles.

Tinycrawl by ehgoodenough 2023-10-05T06:57:53Z

As the others I also had problems with telling enemies and allies apart in the beginning. Apart from that really nice and polished entry and I really enjoyed playing it. Great job!

Cube of a Gelatinous Sort by axelrinaldo 2023-10-05T12:58:01Z

First the game felt a bit slow but it was probably on purpose. Nice entry overall. Maybe adding some win condition would be nice? After a while you become invincible and the you lose the interest in playing further.

I Hate This Recoil by ddolgov 2023-10-05T15:39:17Z

Really nice puzzle game and a decent amount of levels. I really enjoyed playing it.

Gulvis Journey by J0ye 2023-10-05T06:50:43Z

Nice and satisfying gameplay. Sand limit felt very restricting which was probably the intention. Good job!

The Relic by Furtive Pygmy 2023-10-05T15:01:40Z

Nice small game. I think the story/tutorial interrupted the gameplay a bit too often so it didn't feel very fluid in that sense. Other than that I enjoyed playing it.

Cargo Trek by Deseteral 2023-10-05T12:22:48Z

One of my favorite games so far. Really well working mechanics and fun gameplay.

Fist of Decay by Guy with a sword 2023-10-05T11:37:11Z

A bit confusing what to do or where to go so some instructions or indications would bee helpful. I would suggest putting some visual indication if you cannot cross the screen because now there are some places which seem that you can go there but you cannot. Also moving between the objects was a bit annoying as you get stuck to them immediately. I think in Godot you could use move_and_slide() function so the kinematic body doesn't get stuck on the walls so easily and slides along them instead. With a bit more polish I think you have a nice puzzle adventure there. Good job :)

Grid Masters of the Galaxy by ETdoFresh 2023-10-05T09:42:09Z

Fun game but the grid seemed to be a bit off to me. Also the difficulty went up really fast. It would have benefitted having a few more easier levels before the harder ones. Overall a nice concept and with more polish it could be a nice puzzle game.

DARQY by Euler Moises 2023-10-05T06:41:13Z

Simple yet satisfying gameplay mixed with puzzle elements. I liked it a lot

The incredible adventure of Bonaventure the Hero by ThomasLebel 2023-10-05T11:13:20Z

Really nice visuals and catchy music. The book theme was amazing and felt really original. The character felt a bit small and there was a lot of empty space that could have been used for the game itself. Overall a nice entry.

Transilvaniawkward by Mastoast 2023-10-05T14:23:54Z

Really nice and polished entry. I really like the pixel art and the music in your game. Also the puzzles were nice and the pacing felt good. Great game overall.

Grandma's Garden by MiniBetrayal 2023-10-05T09:59:35Z

Takes some time to get started but has surprisingly lot moving items in the end. I really liked playing your game. Great job.

Snake Ltd. by aligator 2023-10-05T12:41:26Z

Nice little game and the leaderboard is a nice addition. Would be nice to repeat the same level instead of just going to the next.

Limited Leg Space by spacecadet 2023-10-06T08:00:58Z

Thank you for playing everyone and feedback :)

@noobgeek the (loose) instructions are on the description. You are supposed to try relax in the bus. The nerve meter goes down only when the curtain is closed, you are leaning back and the seat in front of you is up.

@hangovergames @ddolgov @furtive-pygmy Yeah there were various different things on my mind to add to the game like AC or heating nozzle, leg stand and those things you mentioned. Maybe for a post jam version :D

Wedding Planner by kory 2023-10-05T12:28:39Z

Nice idea but would definitely need more levels. Maybe the info boxes could be a bit smaller because now they clip easily out of the screen and are impossible to read. Music is relaxing.

Brain Manager by Thoastbot 2023-10-05T13:35:57Z

Nice concept and the gameplay felt fluid. I didn't really find a way to deal with the new friends as I there were only a few wildcards and new people kept popping.

Typing·Defense by Chuckiee 2023-10-05T14:02:18Z

Really fun game. I really liked the art style and the music as well as the gameplay. However the game crashed (web version) on wave 4. Also if there were 2 words starting with the same letter then then you had to write the word the game wanted first. It was a problem a few times when I tried to kill an enemy and the game thought I wanted to sent the worker to the mine.

Packed to the Gills by npckc 2023-10-06T07:51:25Z

This game was super entertaining. The pacing was really good and catches up the hectic life in the subway really well :D

Room by noya 2023-10-05T13:45:32Z

A bit unclear what am I supposed to do. Maybe adding some instructions would help new players.

Room by noya 2023-10-05T20:44:49Z

Sure @noya. I placed some tiles and moved around but I meant that it was unclear what was the goal of the game. Why am I supposed to put the tiles? Will something happen? It felt like a level editor instead of a game. I didn't try the multiplayer though.

Cold space by karnagie 2023-10-05T11:50:15Z

Nice idea and fits really well to the theme. I think there was not enough time to react whenever you ran into a monster and it was pretty much always an instakill. Some audio would make the game more appealing too I think. However a good entry I would say :)

Baby Deer and Momma Deer by Peach Tree Pixels 2023-10-05T15:27:08Z

Nice puzzle game with cute art and amazing music. For me however it wasn't clear how the baby deer would react on the different objects. For example sometimes the deer would turn 90 degrees hitting a forest, sometimes 180. Sometimes the deer turns 90 degrees on a base tile. Maybe I just missed something?

Disco Seducium by najjaman 2023-10-05T13:05:14Z

Nice music and atmosphere. I liked the pixel art too. For me the controls felt a bit unintuitive.

Nice Park! by Barbabulle 2023-10-06T07:55:49Z

Fantastic game. All the cars felt really different to control and it was fun to play. I was a bit surprised that I was able to pass to the next level even after making a disaster in the parking lot but I guess that is an intentional design choice. Anyways great game!

Packed Blobs by PowerOfSin 2023-10-08T09:39:52Z

Easily one of my favorites of the jam so far. Really well designed puzzle mechanics and solid execution. Good job!

Space Batter by SoysCodingCafe 2023-10-05T13:10:08Z

I really liked the visuals and the audio. The gameplay though was a bit lacking. However nice work for knowing the l limited time you had.

shoot snake by herh 2023-10-05T14:09:24Z

Nice idea but I think the initial space is too little or the growing too fast. It would be nice the game last for a bit longer than a few seconds. Other than that solid entry I think

The Lost Probe by KotgeDev 2023-10-05T11:55:25Z

Incredibly frustrating but still somehow you cannot stop playing.

Volcano Verbiage by eudaimyst 2023-10-05T14:51:17Z

Interesting idea and cool concept for a puzzle game. It was a bit confusing to get started as there were no indications what to do or what is the logic behind the puzzles.

Birds - Limited Space by Konstitutiv 2023-10-05T14:38:31Z

Nice concept and cute execution. The gameplay is simple but becomes soon pretty repetitive. Is the an ending in the game?

Tetroniformer by SquiggelSquirrel 2023-10-05T15:09:46Z

Interesting idea but the controlling the character makes it impossible for to enjoy the game unfortunately. With some polish or refining to the controls this could a fun puzzle platformer.

Tunnel Chase by tomi-vahamaki 2023-10-05T12:46:26Z

Pretty fun and challenging game. I think the obstacles blocking half of the tunnel were a bit too hard to dodge. Catchy music and on spot sound effects.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Soot Story by blay09 2024-10-08T21:02:28Z

I really enjoyed your game. It is really well implemented and has a great feel of progression. I was a bit confused first how to buy upgrades because the button wasn't showing when playing without full screen. Also I think some kind of mechanism which forces you to return could be nice. Now you can just basically explore the whole cave at one go and finish the quest really quick. Anyways good job :)

An Itsy Bitsy RPG by Bobap 2024-10-10T19:43:08Z

Really well implemented and entertaining small game. Shooting the webs and catching the flies felt really satisfying. I ended up being stuck in the web pretty often but I guess that is inevitable if you just keep shooting mindlessly to any direction the flies appear. Overall very nice game :)

Sammy's Playground by ThatSommeS 2024-10-08T20:38:51Z

Interesting idea. I like the feel of progression throughout the rounds. For me the gameplay is a bit lacking and it gets a bit boring after a few rounds as there is not much else to do than watch.

Plan Bee by JHax 2024-10-10T19:57:51Z

Really cool and polished entry. I liked the simplistic art style but realizing where the enemies where took a few rounds. It took a few rounds also to understand what I was supposed to do I ended up dying not really knowing what happened. Maybe the simplistic art style worked a bit against that. Anyways with a few quality of life improvements this would be even more enjoyable strategy game.

Bugtallion by goodwincek 2024-10-09T20:51:51Z

Fresh idea for the game. I really like the overall feel and aesthetics of your game. I am a bit confused if I was supposed to be able to distribute the movement points with my troops as the enemy seemed to be doing. I didn't find that option.

Ego by Calcopod 2024-10-10T20:12:48Z

Interesting little game. I really like the visual style and the atmosphere but as you also mentioned in the description there wasn't much of a gameplay to keep me interested for more than a few minutes.

The Ritual by krit1k 2024-10-10T19:14:54Z

I have a soft spot for mysterious and Lovecraft inspired games so this one was really appealing. I really like the feeling and the pixel art of your game. For me either killing spiders wasn't really intuitive and became frustrating really fast. Instakill felt a bit unfair especially as there didn't seem to be much of a punishment. I think this could be improved to a longer game too. Great work :)

Spider That Is Stuck In My Pc When I Launch GMOD with 1000 mods by ThatFirey 2024-10-10T19:21:47Z

Wow that was really smooth and enjoyable game to play. Controls were intuitive and failing felt my own fault. I really enjoyed too the art style. There are surprisingly many mechanics packed to the game and everything just works. Good job!

Skyfall by Sevadusk 2024-10-09T21:01:35Z

Pretty addicting gameplay, kept me playing for more quite some rounds. It was really satisfying to explode the cubes and see the chain reactions.

Little Friends by bearcage 2024-10-08T20:45:10Z

I really enjoyed the overall feel of the game and it fits really well to the theme. It wasn't exactly clear for me either what I was supposed to do in the game or the mechanics worked.

Germinator by Arthurmtro 2024-10-10T20:06:06Z

Cool game. Upgrading the character was satisfying. I would have hoped for a bit more options or variation for the upgrades, like a few more to the pool. Maybe it could benefit to have a bit bigger level or some random elements. Now there wasn't much more to do than to just run away from the enemies. Anyways I enjoyed playing it.

The Great Dangling by magopian 2024-10-10T19:34:05Z

Really weird (in a good way) and somehow quite addicting game. First I didn't really understand what was the point as the first levels were really easy but later on it wasn't case anymore. Good job.

Get A Head by unluck interactive 2024-10-10T19:05:01Z

I really like the idea and how the game looks and feels but it was really hard to get the hang of the controls and most of the tries ended after a few jumps.

Sublime Slime by kscerri 2024-10-10T19:26:55Z

I really like the idea and the amount of different units present in the game. However it felt a bit overwhelming to start with a labyrinthic map like that with all the units available. I think the game would benefit a lot from having smaller tutorial levels and introducing the units bit by bit. Anyways a great entry :)

Sheep Them Up by clemall 2025-04-10T20:50:11Z

Cool little game. The visual are really nice and the gameplay works. It could have been a bit longer or more varied on the level design side but other than that fun entry.

Slinky Catch by Papaver 2025-04-08T20:23:40Z

Nice game and fun gameplay. The audio and the minimalistic visuals worked really well. The jumping action seemed a bit useless so maybe there could have been more levels using that too?

Slice by stormouse_indie 2025-04-13T10:26:31Z

The shooting was satisfying but I think I missed the point why should I shoot the targets or keep going further in the level as there was no threat or reward for the player. The minimalistic graphics worked well.

Steve the Smith by Adam Martin 2025-04-12T16:47:17Z

I like the concept and the art is simple but works well the game. The controls were not really intuitive for me and soft locking the game when the pickaxe was broken didn't really motivate to continue unfortunately.

See the Light by DeadByDeath 2025-04-13T09:11:22Z

Really relaxing experience. I really liked the atmosphere and the pixel art and animations were really nice. The game felt a bit too long for what it has to offer gameplaywise but apart from that really cool entry.

Descent Protocol by fingolfin 2025-04-12T16:58:51Z

Really nice atmosphere and there is potential to be really nice exploration game. At the moment everything feels a bit slot and for me it wasn't really clear how to use the radar. I think I saw some indication of the resources as a blue spot but how was I supposed to stop the drill in time? Also the tunnels felt a bit too long to get the resources as there was not much of other gameplay than walking. Anyways cool entry. A bit more polishing and refining the mechanics this could be an awesome exploration game :)

Souls Rider 1D by deformhead 2025-04-13T10:19:31Z

Really cool yet confusing game. I really liked the visuals and the audio of the game.

Deep Fisher by Doomky 2025-04-13T20:52:09Z

Really cool visuals and interesting gameplay. Getting hang of the controls too a bit but the core gameplay was fun and fast paced. Great job!

Diva Descent by Quackqack 2025-04-13T21:02:55Z

Really fun and addictive game. I really enjoyed building up the speed and dodging the obstacles while trying to get the maximum amount of coins. Also the graphics and the sound design is to the point. Great job overall!

HOLE by isayneigh 2025-04-13T10:03:09Z

Cool little game that plays really well. I enjoyed playing it for a few rounds.

In Focus by miroreflect 2025-04-10T20:46:22Z

I really enjoyed this one. The idea is really cool and there is potential for many different puzzles.

Hooked by Hawk 2025-04-09T20:34:29Z

Kind of reminds me of Dredge. I liked the visuals and the gameplay but I wasn't able to open the fishing shop for some reason. Do I need to be in a specific place? Full screen support or bigger font would make reading the texts easier. Other than that really enjoyable game :)

Layered by BridgeOnAStick 2025-04-13T20:46:27Z

Cool little game. I really liked the idea and I would have loved to see a bit more complicated puzzles. Anyways good job

Lost through Magic by Mynespyro 2025-04-09T20:27:25Z

Cool entry. I like the voxel art, it creates very special atmosphere. The signs could have a bit bigger font and I would have liked to have some indication how many portal pieces I need to collect. Anyways I enjoyed playing.

Find the Abyss by Stephen Kyranakis 2025-04-09T20:19:32Z

Interesting game. I liked the audio and the visuals. It wasn't completely clear what I was supposed to do with the depth information or how to advance more on the game.

Aquaferno by Sandra Lin 2025-04-10T20:55:33Z

I like the visuals and the ocean atmosphere of the game but the controls feel a bit off and for example on the second game it seemed really hard to go to the same level with the other fish.

Atacama Trench by DarkLumo 2025-04-13T09:53:22Z

Nice space invaders clone and fits well to the theme. I liked the visuals and the audio. Some feedback when hitting, especially the tougher enemies would have been nice. Overall great entry.

Jerry the Spear by Inferno123 2025-04-12T16:38:22Z

Cool idea. I liked the audio very much but losing money on retry made it pretty annoying to play. Not sure if it the because of the web build but the throw strength bar was all static to me.

Deep Seeker by Maksim Shalaev 2025-04-08T20:12:53Z

The intro is super cool. The game would benefit from some introduction to the controls as it was a bit unclear what I was supposed to do. Also some audio design would add up a lot to it. Anyways I enjoyed playing your game.

Fred's Fishing Frenzy by Phasmantic 2025-04-13T10:08:49Z

Surprisingly addictive gameplay. I liked the visuals and buying upgrades gave a nice sense of progress. Great job!

Cosmic Strain by Grigorii 2025-04-08T20:15:36Z

The visuals and sound design are really nice. They create a great atmosphere. However it I was not able to do much on the game so some kind of instructions would be helpful to enjoy it more.

Fire & Ice by cicanci 2025-10-06T14:40:11Z

Interesting idea. As defeating enemies deals damage to you as well it leads to more tactical playing. I think it would be beneficial to have some kind of feedback when you deal damage or have card drops independent to defeating enemies to have more variety to the game. On the third try something weird happened and all the objects started to go up Screenshot 2025-10-06 163957.png

Relic Hunter by ehtd 2025-10-10T16:41:53Z

Enjoyable game! The art style was amazing and everything felt polished. Gameplaywise it started to be feel pretty repetitive quickly but didn't matter much as the game was short. Anyway good job!

Pumpkin Bumpkin by automatonvx 2025-10-10T22:41:21Z

You have nice cool old school art style but the gameplay becomes frustrating really quickly because of the sudden deaths. Maybe some other feedback would be appreciated in the player object and think about maybe some less punishing approach.

City Bike by gonutz 2025-10-10T16:07:54Z

Cool take on the theme. I liked a lot the visual presentation but there could a bit more variation to the gameplay maybe. The intro was nice too.

Solatro: A Solitaire Roguelike by NotExplosive 2025-10-06T15:03:12Z

Cool game and feels really polished. It starts out really slow, which is solitaire problem but it gets more interesting as you start to stack up the upgrades. There is a bug that you can click the ace on the victory row until you have the required points to advance to the next level.

Gen0 by tomrijnbeek 2025-10-07T18:02:29Z

Interesting entry and fits well to the theme. It felt really polished and I liked the visuals even though minimalistic and the audio. I felt that the cycles started to add up a bit too fast and most of my tries ended on the 8th cycle. Maybe also the viruses could have been a bit more visible. Many times they just blended in too well.

Normal Parts by Linus Lindberg 2025-10-10T21:42:09Z

Attached eyes to my feet and hand in place of head, normalness still 78% which is relatable hahahaa. Really weird game in a god way. I had fun playing it! normalparts.png

Mechmories by Shess 2025-10-07T17:21:46Z

I can see a logo on the game page and clicking it the creature moves but nothing else happens. Not sure how to start the game or to proceed from there Screenshot 2025-10-07 192130.png

Loot Lagoon by ChuChuGeralt 2025-10-07T17:48:06Z

Cool entry I really enjoyed it. Sailing around the lagoon was satisfying and upgrading was nice. Collecting the gems was a bit annoying as the felt of a bit too easily from the boat even with the magnet upgrade. Other than that really nice game!

Victorian Collector by GreatVV 2025-10-07T20:30:27Z

For me it was not really clear what I was supposed to do. It would be great to have full screen option to see a bit better what is going on on the screen.

Stamp Collecting on Planet Q by cassowary 2025-10-10T19:50:54Z

One of my favorites so far. Very polished and well thought puzzles. The first one was a bit confusing to figure out what to do without tutorial but after figuring the core mechanics it was very fun. Good job!

Xenolith by John Gabriel 2025-10-10T16:28:53Z

@torte478 Thanks for the code and initial work :D I just needed to collect 2 coins and finish. Really cool concept and well executed. Also enjoyed a lot the art style.

BIN CHICKEN by Quackqack 2025-10-10T17:12:15Z

Nice different take on the theme. Your game feels polished and has consistent visuals and style. I found it pretty hard to hit the bins and was most of the time probably a bit late but overall really enjoyable entry. Good job!

Trash Catchers by mira 2025-10-08T21:23:39Z

I really enjoyed the art, music and the general atmosphere on your game. The game felt really polished and had the multiplayer aspect was nice. The resolution was too big for my screen which made playing a bit hard and the full screen button just turned everything black. Not sure if it was supposed to work. Other than that really great entry.

RACOOOON!!! by MatijaT 2025-10-07T20:18:53Z

Cute game and feels really polished. The visuals are really great and the music set ups the mood nicely. I would have liked to see some more mechanics to avoid the dudes or to see some reason to try to avoid them altogether as now you just drop the apple and can just continue immediately.

Tarophilia by Nazorus 2025-10-08T21:13:10Z

Really nice entry. I enjoyed the quirky art style and variation on the cards and how they affect the gameplay.

Keklik by Rogaven 2025-10-10T22:18:22Z

Enjoyable small game. Maybe I would have enjoyed to see more levels but other than than really nice entry. Especially visually I really enjoyed it.

Taxbear of Haybrunn by spacecadet 2025-10-10T20:54:02Z

@linus-lindberg @vikfx @yarli @automatonvx @torte478 @elanor Thank you for playing, commenting and giving feedback!

@milq It is intentional, kind of hahaha I didn't want to put fixed penalty as the items have different prices so they are just tied to their original tax price.

@torte478 you wish... @ehtd what a concept right?

@stef-studio-7 @ghettobastler Originally I thought that it would be like that but then decided to go without randomizing because the game loop is anyway really short. The items are randomized though if you end up playing again.

@rogaven @02fc I had more in depth idea for the game but well as always other things took up too much time and other features didn't end up into the game. I was toying around with some kind of moral system or that your progress is being controlled by some other actors but didn't end up implementing those.

Fallen Leaves by Sceef 2025-10-10T16:17:34Z

Really relaxing and well presented game, made me smile. The art style is really polished and the music sets the mood nicely. The gameplay itself was a bit tedious but for a short game without punishment it didn't matter much in the end. Good job!

Pick it up, Bippy! by milq 2025-10-06T16:00:31Z

Cool entry, feels polished and the fits well to the theme. Good job!

Collector's Cove by shamotte 2025-10-07T19:56:55Z

Cool style and artwork. The dungeons layout reminds me a bit of Binding of Isaac. However it was not really clear what I was supposed to do with all the items that I already had in the backpack or how to advance in the dungeon. I didn't find anything from the rooms either.

Halloween Night by Yarli 2025-10-08T21:04:43Z

Nice game. I liked the coherent and clear art style. Maybe some animations and audio would give it a bit more life. The combat felt a bit clunky for me and ended up dying pretty easily because I wasn't able to hit the enemies fast enough. Anyway good job!

Cyclops' Treasure by SoundJammer 2025-10-08T22:08:22Z

Really nice art style and core idea for the game. I wasn't big fan on the limited visibility because it led to sudden deaths pretty often so I wasn't able to plan my way to the artifacts and to the exit.

Collect It by Stef_Studio_7 2025-10-10T22:07:04Z

Cool idea but the controls felt a bit clunky. I was struggling to make the connections reliably so the game felt pretty frustrating because of that.

The Big COLLECTOR! by ShadowDoge 2025-10-06T14:47:27Z

Cute aesthetics but for me it wasn't really clear what I was supposed to do. Maybe adding some more detailed instructions would add up to the experience. I wasn't able to get the web version to work but the exe works :)

Border Tax by ClockwardGames 2025-10-07T17:31:14Z

Nice entry, reminds me of Papers Please. The cars maybe could come a bit faster to the checking station as it felt that there was a lot downtime. I wasn't able to proceed anywhere after the first goal was met and the game just stayed on the result screen. Not sure if the game was supposed to continue after that.

ALIEN ABDUCTION by SnowfallEagle 2025-10-10T20:23:22Z

Really cool visual style and concept but a bit more detailed tutorial would have been nice so playing wouldn't have been that much trial and error. Anyway really enjoyable entry!

My Favorite Creatures by Itero Proto 2025-10-07T19:58:42Z

I cannot launch the game either, it gives error "If you're seeing this error, it means I can't find your index.html file."

Madness bar by sick machine 2025-10-10T16:58:43Z

I liked the weird atmosphere of the game but became quickly annoyed how difficult it was to move around in the bar as it was very tight with the chair and table colliders. Also making the text smaller as it was running made it a bit hard to follow the dialogue. Some textures to the 3d models would add up a lot to the experience and the white text would be then better visible too. Anyway the character models were cool fitted well to the quirky bar.

Mushroom Collector by Jinda 2025-10-10T20:18:05Z

I enjoyed the visual style and the idea was interesting. Maybe I would have liked to see some more refined gameplay mechanics but maybe this was meant to be more like relaxing experience.

Mushroom Collector by Jinda 2025-10-10T21:06:31Z

@jinda It would be nice to see some kind of progress or reasoning why am I playing. Now the player is just thrown into the game without any explanation what should be done. So I end up eating everything (also because there is no choice when first discovering a new mushroom) and just got some information about the mushroom and then I can eat it again or not. So maybe some kind of story or that someone asks you to collect and try the mushrooms according to some instructions. So maybe there could be a mushroom book or something like that in the beginning and according to that bring the new findings back home, to have some sense of progress. By the way was there some function for jumping? I didn't find any places where I needed to jump.
