The struggle is real! I love it!
exactly on topic!!! completely imbued with it
not a bad idea to add crying children...
Had a good laugh playing this one! Great game!
i just kicked the sit of the man and had some fun.
That's a very creative take on the theme, very relatable and a lot of fun! It turned out to be a lot of work to manage your seat-neighbors and fight for the window blind!
Haha, I like the way you covered the topic. I don't quite understand why I'm losing. It would be great if you provided instructions
Really great game, easily one of my favorite submission, probably in the top 5, the game is really simple but super innovative.
So real...Never got some relax on bus...
The creators must have a keen observation skills. Although the game structure is very simple, it made me smile knowingly!
Managed to dodge the lady's attacks by getting up at the right time! XD
That's fun idea! Want more activities, something like bags falling from the top shelf, crying baby, annoying revenue protection inspector, etc. Also it can be helpful to add highlighting or indications for clickable areas. Art is simple but very pretty. Nice job!
This game captures the frustration of public transport perfectly! Loved the simplistic gameplay, I think having some more actions would have made it more challenging (frustrating XD).
Thank you for playing everyone and feedback :)
@noobgeek the (loose) instructions are on the description. You are supposed to try relax in the bus. The nerve meter goes down only when the curtain is closed, you are leaning back and the seat in front of you is up.
@hangovergames @ddolgov @furtive-pygmy Yeah there were various different things on my mind to add to the game like AC or heating nozzle, leg stand and those things you mentioned. Maybe for a post jam version :D
Now, that's a good interpretation of the theme! I only managed to get halfway. What are you supposed to do about the lady hitting you with her bag?
It fits the theme very well, but it was a frustrating game to play. I manage the clear it, but had to figure out what I needed to click. There was a bug, when I pulled my chair back. The lady behind me hit me with her bag and pulled up the window blinds, but the blinds didn't go up.
Love this game, even with how difficult it can be! :D
Where to click to do things was a little unclear. I wish that the spots were highlighted at the start. Took me about two tries, but I got there in the end.
So very frustrating! The repetitive music, grating sound effects and hectic gameplay combine well to make a really annoying gameplay experience (I mean these all as compliments, since I assume they are by design). Definitely high points for mood and it's a unique take on the theme as well.
I won, but at what cost :D I've been annoyed by both the person in front and back, so I'd say game is a success making you feel like you are travelling on a bus.
Ahah, that's a really cool (and relatable) idea ! Wish we could smack that blond karen ! Dear lord ^^
The struggle was real, I didn't manage to finish the game! Cool take on the theme though. I didn't find the level to lean back until my 4th run. Could use some UI feedback on this front, like changing the mouse cursor when an action is available. I felt powerless in my first runs, and diegetically annoyed in the following ones. I like this graphic style (you've played my game so you know that already ^^) and the tense audio was coherent. Good job! An unexpected and very welcome entry.
Fun game, and a very relatable struggle for those of us who regularly partake in the joys of public transport. It took me a bit before i figured out that the speech at the bottom doesnt actually have anything to do with what i need to do, and i think it would be a neat extension of the current game if it did.
