I admit this really isn't my kind of game that I find fun (being chased) but I wanted to give it a go! I can see how this can be fun for someone and how the challenge can spur them on (I definitely yelped when I got caught 27 seconds after starting xD ahaha).

I did wish that the controls were given at the start or maybe on an interactable poster in the elevator instead of the pause (Ah, I got so panicked once it all started that I just ran and hoped for the best? xD). LOVED the graphics and clips of people's dialogue.

I did wish that the feedback when you feed them was a bit more obvious. It was cute but after the 10th one, it was more of a click masher game for me and got old pretty quick. Maybe more cat variations would help? Sometimes the hitboxes were wonky where I'd click on the cat but they didn't get fed. Neat nevertheless.

It was enjoyable, although the candies constantly hitting me in the "face" was quite annoying after a while. I wish the candies zoomed elsewhere and not smacking me in the face. ><; It was also kind of confusing, some of the cards...making you pick between things that ...I couldn't really tell what they were or what it did and after..what effect had taken place. It left me mostly confused.

(edit: I just read that this candy smack face option could be turned off. Nice.)

This game really needed a bit of music, even a simple one to offset the sound effects. Overall it was alright, but I think what got me is the delay between mouse press and the shooting. Most of the time I'm already off screen due to shooting but when I try to shoot, the delay really didn't help. I think you had to choose either gun recoil or shooting delay, but not both. With such a small screen... really I just let the explosions deal with the enemies as I could not see where I was (trying to offset recoil by shooting constantly) or try to shoot carefully but getting so few hits in (due to the delay and zooming around quickly).

I did like the explosions. I thought they added a nice bit of spice to the whole thing.

That was really cute! A few things hampered my enjoyment: overly sensitive mouse made KB playing a slight doozy as it was easy to accidentally just make your camera go wild. I encountered a bug where after I planted all my plants in a row, once one turned into a fruit ALL my plants POOFED out of existence, leaving me with just one fruit.

When I ate the fruit it just.. disappeared, so left me feeling like I went through the trouble of platforming without any satisfying reward. I wish the fruit eating gave a noise or a "yipee!" or *something* from our cute character.

That aside, I still had fun. :)

Wow, not the game for me, admittedly - as someone who hasn't memorized the keys when not typing words. It was a bit of a shame that the numpad keys didn't really work, but I can see this being quite fun and challenging for someone more well-versed with the keys on their keyboard. LOVED the overall art style and the music was lovely. I think the tasks popped up every 10 seconds? Not sure on that...but it does feel like the theme isn't really the focus of the game.

My shortcomings have nothing to do with the game so I will still say that I can see this as being fun for someone else.

I did want to say: I pressed escape at one point, wanting to quit, and the menu popped up BUT clicking on the "quit" didn't really do anything. Maybe a bug?

This is so awesome! I haven't finished the game but will totally try to. There's an element of challenge and the graphics are simple but cute, and love the dialogs. The only problem I have as a laptop user is that the "home" key requires me to push another key to activate it (like an alt). Maybe have a control options for the player to change that to something else more comfy for them?

It was likely me but when I was following the clock at first it felt like the timing of ten seconds was off. The purring was a better indicator, and once you know the pattern, it was easy to get a streak. I did get freebie point on my second try as the score went from 1 to 3 xD

For something that requires precise timing it's hard to keep track of all the motions and make sure to get the timing right. Perhaps playing more might make me more used to it, but it is frustrating to get to that level (for me), especially when the frog suddenly changed speeds on the movements! With the visual aid being hard to track, AND the music not having any cues either (think Rhythm heaven), I wish there was another way to keep track of the beat (the clock?).

I'm not sure how the theme was implemented as well... it's not very clear if at all. Being that is my impression, I unfortunately can't place any scores on that regard.

Understandably the time frame would have limited any updates/testing/etc, but I hope that you guys improve on this build and release it stronger than ever later on! It's very clear that you guys had a clear idea for it!

I love most things about this game, the graphics, the sounds (no bgm but the sounds were enough!) and even the gameplay... but I had a problem when encoding the messages. For some reason I simply couldn't get the timing on the spacebar right. I got better on the mouse but there were still many moments when I want to type something long but the game would encode the first dot/line I'd make, and it felt like there was no rhyme or reason to it. Too slow definitely caused issues so I tried to go faster, and same thing! Sometimes I'd get the word I want and sometimes the game encoded that first mark right away.

I couldn't get a handle of what I was doing wrong and eventually I just closed the game before I got too frustrated. I really wanted to like this one cause it seemed so cool but not for me, I guess.

I think I just noticed it a lot cause it was so prevalent.

That was a VERY slippery floor and that green gem(?) made it wayyyyyy too fast. The floors need some friction and I don't really know what the gems did?? The only clear one was the white one, which turned me into a ghost.

I like that you can fight but it's really annoying that the cat is forcibly faced away from the enemy when hit. It's better to just dodge.

Cute game with a message! As I was playing the game I thought "imagine if this spoke about overfishing?" little did I know! That was a sad end u_u

The golden tunas all got themselves stuck against islands so it was an easy catch, and if you're close enough to a fish (and they don't really seem to get scared), then you're just left raking in the points.

My two biggest points would be: - boat movement. The boat was shaking as it "moved" but it felt like a jittering, like when you get stuck against a wall or something. It didn't feel like a boat movement, but more like... the boat is vibrating unnaturally as you float through the ocean.

- Music. This one is possibly just a me problem. I have Tinnitus, and the main melody was soooo grating after a bit (and I turned the music down) that eventually just turned the music off. The pitch it was on was just so incredibly grating, someone singing a high-pitched "weeeeee-e------weeeeee" in my ear. It very added to the noise I was "hearing" with Tinnitus and it was unpleasant. Perhaps if the sound wasn't so "sharp" sounding? Not sure how to word it, as I'm not really a musician.

Anyway, again, that might just be a "me" problem, being that I suffer from Tinnitus.

It did take me a while to figure out, and so there were several levels were I ran without any ammunition as I didn't realize that I had to keep the plant planted for me to have any "bullets" on the next stage. @honey-pony The compendium was added pretty much in the last hour, as per my request (cause I knew people would at least want to see the tiles collected) but due to it being so last-minute many things that would have come naturally with it were not put in (hints, recipes, etc). The post-jam game does address the issue and (I just played a test build and aaa!! I'm excited) so hopefully it will be a more satisfying experience (and less difficult, in that sense).

Those were the cutest hecckin veggies I ever did see. Well done on the graphics, it's fantastic. That's about it though, a lot of people kind of put "shoot veggies" as "harvest" but harvest is really more about collecting (or cutting and collecting). So I can't really rate too high on theme. Maybe if you guys had a sickle instead and have a harvest goal instead of a wave survival.

I was advised to watch the video tutorial and that REALLY helped. I think I played a few times and got better as I proceeded although some bad rng runs were also had.

The sfx was reeally soft for some reason, and I wish there was some BGM (maybe there was but it was also soft???) also (In-game volume was up to max and my computer was at 50). I might try to score higher still, but for now, this was the best I could do xD.

The only other thing (and this is a nitpick) was that I really wanted to look at the stuff at the top of the wheel just to see it closer but I don't think(?) there was a just "look" mode? Anyway, that's a nitpick more than anything else.

That worm movement was fun to control for me! I loved wooshing around! I did wish that the sounds for the first half of the game were more present, the first half seemed so weirdly silent - especially the bombings.

This also sent me for a bit of a roller coaster. I was going from "Oh, I'm the monster!" to "Oh no!! Bombings!" to "OMG I'm remaking the city!!" which was very cool.

I also wished that there was more finesse with the house-placement system, just couldn't place buildings at the end cause of awkward spaces. Also, the awnings underneath the roofs of the arrow-shaped building still counted for an "overlap" which was kinda weird to me.

Still had fun tho! :3 Nicely done!

I also want to say that I exploded the secret wall in the cave where you exit and it's the point of no return, but it was empty inside... weirdly enough I did still get all the golden carrots.

The climb to the top wasn't that difficult after all xD I think I did it on my first go. The secret cave was more difficult, cause sometimes bunny would slide and the jump wouldn't activate when that happens, OR I'd jump to the platform on the left and the middle one would just fall down even if I didn't jump on it, so I'd fall and the timer would restart... QmQ that was painful. BUT I SUCCEEDED!!!

I just finished playing the post-jam version and things are still just as good!! I do think that having up be jump and enter is a better key layout, I think, or maybe "enter" instead of "x". It was just nice to keep things with just one hand...

It took me a while to find Agent 36. "Surely, it won't be just as simple as the number, right?". Boy, was I wrong. That one frustrated me for a bit as I was expecting an agent surrounded by oodles of women. I even considered the milkman! Clearly, I focused on the wrong element.

This was pretty cool! The only thing I'd change is the controls... I greatly disliked that every right click would just... zoom me out. I wanted to explore the map zoomed in when I'm honing in on finer details, but unless you're int he right spot, you'll keep zooming in and out as each right click zooms you out. Sometimes it clicks an area on the opposite side or something and the whole map would spin to the opposite side of where I was looking at. I also had a few times where while I was trying to click to open a window, it would click on the agent behind it and it would count against me Dx

Ah well, I still had fun despite that. ^^

@mitur I think that was the minor update... I asked the guys do hide some info on the ratings page (it used to just show country/state, now it's hidden unless a button is clicked) for those that play the game on stream. ^^

I think in general some essential bugfixes is ok (like things that broke, game-breaking bugs...) but no new features or anything like that ^^ I have seen people with post-jam versions, but are labeled as such.

Cute game! I don't know what the "rain" does, really... seems like nothing? I wished that the dogs didn't just stick on you once they spawned. I couldn't really run back and take a breather/collect the boxes that got hit off of me without the dogs being on my ankles. The dogs matched your sprint speed so there was really no escaping them.

Eventually I got stuck with a dog that didn't seem to get hit no matter what I did, and I ran back and eventually the boxes got flung past the start point.

I did replay again and managed to finish to the end. There was one thing that confused me though, in the "Delivery Zone" There seemed to be 12 boxes that can be delivered, but it only ever took the first row of 4 items from me and not more than that. So I'm not sure if I did that part right, but no matter what I did it only ever took 4. Same with the second Delivery Zone. So when I got to the end, I still had a majority of the boxes I collected...so I'm not sure if I "won" necessarily?

Hrm, nice concept, had a bit of fun! Are the prompts randomly generated? I got a bit stuck with "I want to read on the toilet"/"light on the bed" as neither TV nor the PC counted for reading, and neither pc, stove nor TV counted for light on the bed and you couldn't really put the rug under the bed to make room for a light.

The toilet = gamer chair was obtuse too, the only reason I got it is that I briefly spotted that hint on the game description.

I did also wish that the prompts scrolled to the new one when they appear. Reason being was that I had placed a bookshelf next to the toiled, counting for a prompt that I didn't realize spawned. Later on, I thought I was done, but was confused as to why the game didn't end. Scrolling up I saw a red prompt and upon reading it got confused as to why a "new" prompt spawned in the middle of the list.

I really tried my best, and I tried to have fun with it too. Eventually little things here and there added up to my not having fun, and I ... honestly didn't like the ending? I understand it's supposed to evoke emotion but I just got frustrated that after all that struggle there was nothing in the end that was worth it (not even character growth). It made what I did struggle with all the more frustrating.

Maybe if I got all the collectibles I'd have gotten a different ending? But I am not going to make myself go through that again...

Lovely graphics and style and the accompanying audio was fantastic (although the more anxiety inducing ones in the level did only serve to further my frustrations as I struggled).

I got sick this week so unfortunately I don't think a stream is in the cards, but I knew I had to play your game before the grading was over.

Once again the team has created a world that I just absolutely want to explore. I am not at all familiar with Slavic mythology so I was hoping I'd get a bit of context with the world and the character -- who are we? What are these ...totems? Spirits? Why were we in this place? Ohhh I just had so many questions I was just dying to find out.

I did die a lot in the first lily pad summoning part as I kept getting misdirected as to where I thought I should be going. That did make me feel like the timer on the lily pad was just a few seconds too short. I also did feel like the world could use just a tad more color, but I understand that that's a polish that might not have made it at the end.

Overall, this is certainly another win for me, and I can't wait to see what's next. I hope I get to learn some Slavic Mythology in the end!! :D

My only critique would be in that long elevator climb, I once didn't make a lift switch and I was left staring at the screen for a bit. @perrin There's only a few puzzle types for the entire game: spot the difference (the clues are always near the door, if you note for example in the first room, out of all the items in the room, only a few things are repeated and close to each door: the painting and the shelf), find the "weird" thing that points it out (the fan in the living room is sometimes off, with a clue on it and; there's a gnome on the floor by the correct door) and color matching (these are only in the latter rooms, and you can tell when it's that type when all the obviously visible colors in the room are different from each other. For this you have to look around in the room, and inside openable objects - including doors! - to find the clue that tells you which color it is).

So it takes a little bit of you knowing the room and spotting what is repeated near the door. Maybe with this in mind you can see if you can find the clues this time xD hehe

The only one I wish we had better time to finesse is that some of the clues you can find by opening doors. But understandably players would hesitate since that might trigger a door choice. Just know this: __as long as you *don't* cross the door threshold, it's safe to open doors__.

Everyone has commented about the controls, and I pretty much agree. The jump is just so crazy fast and high that it was hard for me to even finesse jumping up and digging. A grid-based movement would be nice, too, like in Mr. Driller.

I love, love, love the visuals. That said, the sheep could use a slight more clarity versus the other strokes of your scenery especially in that ending scene.

I was very glad that Vegeo was in chat to help explain the things. It was a LOT to start with. But once I got the hang of things it was REALLY zen and fun and I enjoyed looking at the soil, and the stuff I could collect, and understanding the grapple-mining thing!! I was just sad I got a bug that disabled me from fully upgrading my machines. BUT I WILL PLAY AGAIN!! I hope there's a post jam with a zen mode (to start with) =u= !!
