Really nice. Like Katamari Damacy, but with a frog. Really like the assets you created. Only problem I had is the frog is kind of hard to maneuver. Still a very fun game, especially for a compo! Congrats!

images.jfif I feel like Homer in that chapter now, good game!
this was really cute. I think the music loop does get a little annoying after a while but I like the concept a lot and there's something funny and terrifying about the animation he does as he eats
i eated everything
Very fun game! As far as game jam games go, if I can make it to the end of a game I'd say that's a good sign. Reminds me of Katamari Damacy in concept! Both in gameplay and in polygonal art style.
I had no idea the thrill of systematically eating a row of trees, slowly erasing them from existence like a computer erasing files from a folder. Or the opposite of blitting a game. This was the perfect thing.
RIP wormy :(

Eating everything!
Brilliant, I would die for Gob, he deserves all the food and non-food. Music matched the vibes perfectly. The moving controls took a second to get used to, but overall a fun experience!
It's like Katamari Damacy but with a frog! ๐ธ The graphics are just great and the concept is fun and unique. I really liked how I could "eat" everything in my path, it was funny and a little scary at the same time! ๐ Although controlling the frog was difficult, it didn't ruin the overall experience. The music was maybe a little repetitive, but overall it complemented the atmosphere well. Congratulations on a great job within the compo! ๐
Did not think that you could eat everything and played on... finished eating everything in 6:41 min. Interesting entry. GJ
The sound effects were really fun :)
I've seen games like this, and every each time they bring me so much joy! Love it! Really nice holding lmb and watching the dude doing everything for me.
But I still feel empty inside...
Also this baby's animation is fireScreenshot 2024-10-07 230622.png
That's some crazy idea right there, I love it! I have played it for probably more than I should have. Very good game. One thing i'd prolly fix the camera movement as it is a bit odd, but other than that great.
Tons of fun! I absolutely loved the sound effects. I truly was not expecting to be able to eat the terrain, but you did tell us... big frogs can eat anything. The camera controls were really sensitive by default, but you provided a way to change that! Great work!
I had a massive grin on my face the entire time I played it. The content, the jank, the mechanics, the humor (both intentional and unintentional), it all combines into a masterpiece. I felt nothing when I consumed the pigdogthing or the babies, but the worm made me feel a little sad for a few seconds. Just a few. I then continued my feeding frenzy and enjoyed every moment of it.
Great job!
Too humorous, I like it :)
Fun little game
It was fun. The camera kept spinning around though, it made it hard to control.
Fun
Funny concept, but i encountered a bug. It was jumping even if i don't press anything, didn't stop me from beating the game though
I really liked this game! It's awesome!
It's so hard to stop once you start. Super fun eating everything!

In a mere 5-minute timespan, I have experienced the unfettered, unfiltered, unaltered amphibian experience that it is a colossal round frog. Initially, after engaging in what I initially thought to be frog-like behaviour, eating flies and the like, I came upon the horrifying realisation of my true purpose. It was when I began bouncing ashore, like some deep-sea rubberised harbinger of destruction, eating plantlife as big as bushes, that I realised that this game had gripped me tight. The unending hunger could not be satiated. In a matter of moments, the frog that I was controlling had graduated from flies to dogs and wicker baskets. The size of my froggy form could not be contained as I asserted my new place within this small dominion, gobbling down houses, trees and eventually entire land masses like some megalithic psychopomp-esque serpent of death. Unspeakable things in an unspeakably small amount of time. The home was consumed. The world before me was now one enormous pond. The frog was the only thing left, as it should be. As it always was.
This game has changed me.
Great graphics and sound design, very katamari. Gorgeous stuff!
This is probably the only entry I'll rate Frog/5 (poor worm, though)
The worm lol and the frog's tongue is a machine gun hahahah. I didn't expect to be eating the entire spawn area. Great humor, original idea, and great take on the theme. Not really much to improve here, its solid all around. Awesome game!
GOB.

Ate everything in 5:34. This is extremely fun and satisfying, I love being able to eat bigger and bigger things until Gob consumes the world. 10/10 would die for Gob, a remarkable being.

*"But I am starving, brother!"*
I knew I was in for a good time when I started eating fence posts.

[Thanks for submitting your game to stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2273720699?t=02h46m07s)
I love the absurdist escalation of this one
Plus, obvious bonus points for the lil wormy cameo
I love games with frogs, and this one will be no exception. It's funny how at the beginning of the game I thought "damn, can I eat a tree?" AND I ATE IT! Thanks for the funny frog model, I love it when plush toys become a source of inspiration :3
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to watch it again in the future heres the vod of the stream (timestamped to your game)

Also Wanted to ask if youre fine with me using gameplay from the game in this LDs [score chasers tournament](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/56/$405421/ludum-dare-score-chasers-qualification-begins) intermission video. (Would play in the breaks of the tournament on my stream). Last year for reference https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuddhZScWxo
@ategon hell yeah ty man ^^
but idk about putting gob in the intermission.. you did throw him off the planet :/
@rickylee gives him something to do while falling for eternity
@ategon good point.. ok sure go for it, but if he swallows the tournament im not to blame >:)
Loved it. One of those games that you are guaranteed to play until the end. The baby race was such a funny touch. At first I didn't like the pause in mid-air grab, but pretty soon I felt like Neo snapping up those flies while doing a 360 no scope.

Such a good entry for Compo!! I love the take on a Katamari kind of game. I was thinking about taking my game in a similar direction actually but went more platformery instead!
The frog was a bit annoying to control with the jumping, and the song got a bit annoying after a while. But honestly thats about the only criticism I have of it, you did such a great job overall!
I didn't plan on eating the worm house :'(

Cute! I like the different sound effects for the different food.
I think that one of the great things about Katamari is the feeling of catharsis you get from finally being able to eat some things that were annoying or restricting you earlier on, like a fence reining you in or enemies/obstacles pestering you. I didn't get a lot of that in this game, other than the trees at the end. I think there's a good opportunity to add some of that in the level design to make the player feel like they are progressing and accomplishing things.
Nice entry :)
