atmosphere is really nice with some nice lighting but it did feel like it was missing something to do. I kinda just held right the whole time and occasionally went left to grab some gems

I think maybe it's too tricky to recover from a mistake in some of the later levels, it can end up feeling very "restart spam" heavy
but overall I really loved it. the writing was fun and a nice touch too
congrats on your first game jam! cool ideas and it's very ambitious to try to make a 2D platformer with a walljump
physics were a little wonky in places, especially for the acceleration/friction and speed caps on falling I reccomend this article, it really helped me get to grips with 2D platformer physics:

impressive work for one person though and some really unique ideas although I would have liked to have seen the darkness mechanic introduced slower and maybe have more environmental lights in the earlier levels to guide the player and warn them about hazards.
would have been nice for the mood to get a bit of audio in there even if it wasn't original but I get that when you're just one person you're stretched thin enough as is

really interesting ideas with the score draining mechanic, definitely made me rush through some of the later levels and get hit more which I think is what you were going for.
nice choice of music as well, I know you didn't write it but I think it fit nicely and helped elevate the mood

this is a really cool concept and looks very smart but I can't quite wrap my head around how it works... I think it if was rendered in 1st person inside a 3D cube I'd feel better equipped to understand how to play
this looks amazing and I really want to play it but the mouse didn't seem to place ingredients for me! I'm going to try it again tomorrow on a different machine and hopefully it'll work then as this looks super cool
cute game, can definitely see the celeste influence
it feels good to build up momentum but I would have liked to see a way to cancel the dash early or something or maybe a way to retain momentum out of it to allow people to build up some speed faster
checkpoints are also a little far apart considering the difficulty of some segments and the slow journeys to get back to where you were
overall I really enjoyed it though and the sense of atmosphere is really strong
really unique and interesting clone mechanic and some really impressive background art. collision handling and sprite animation could have used a bit more polish but this is a very memorable entry for sure
fun game where you can properly just zone out for ages playing it
would have liked to have seen another mechanic or something to keep things fresher on longer runs but the artwork and sense of speed are really good

got stuck on the big snail boss though as I couldn't work out what the best way to deal damage to it was and I'd always run out of vomit :( Your artwork is ludicrously good though!
fun game, reall nice idea, reminds me of Lemmings. Would have liked the controls to be a bit slower/heavier though it sometimes felt hard to position yourself where you wanted to be because everything was moving a bit fast
really impressive considering only 48 hours to make this game has a very big sense of scale and mystery, I haven't seen everything but it feels almost impossibly huge
atmosphere is great and I love the idea of taking a lot of the interlinking systems and mechanics that old school roguelikes and games like dwarf fortress have and trying to merge that with something more akin to Zelda
love the art as well
very fun game but the difficulty spike after level one is MASSIVE
this is fantastic, reminds me of downwell in a lot of ways (mechanically and visually)

gameplay concept is very satisfying although it can feel a little frustrating since it seems like the optimal strategy might be to just move your mouse as slowly as possible.

really love the menu, the animations are very stylish. If this is the first game you've ever made it's very impressive although some shadows would have gone a long way to making the platforming segments a lot easier as well as helping the look of the game

interesting take on the 2048 type gameplay loop.
I think it'd be really useful if there was an upgrade that let your fish spawn at higher levels as it can take a very long time to get to the higher level fish.

dicey dungeons, cult of the lamb, slay the spire. this is such a great fusion of all of these games. the vibes are haunting, the gameplay is satisfying and interesting.

I got stuck though, I know that you can shoot the little dolls to rocket jump but I still couldn't seem to get high enough to clear some jumps.

pretty nice stuff. classic top down shootem survive em up stuff
feels satisfying to play and it's a great bit of music in the background. only thing I'd say is that 10 minutes is quite a long time. By the end I felt a bit like I was just sticking it out to see the boss
really good overall though, there's a lot here I wouldn't have wanted to play for 10 minutes. this was a lot of fun

this is incredible that someone made a full ASS metroidvania in this time restriction. some really creative abilities as well. cockroach telebug and the flea are all absolute faves for me
couple of slightly annoying spots of level design right towards the end but overall WOW this is good.

the collision can be a bit finnicky at times but overall this is super impressive and VERY nice to look at

I really like the timed jump mechanic. it's possibly a little harsh but it feels really good to get good at
it can feel a bit impossible when a car comes out of nowhere and runs you down though, especially when you're partway across a road so can't time your jumps as carefully.
LOVE the splattered frogs left on the road (RIP tho)
