Core mechanic is implemented really well! I can see some fun puzzles being built around this idea.
Looks like the game isn't loading on the LD Jam Page---but to anyone reading, the Itch link works just fine!

Fun ideas around different mechanics that can be made that involve the mouse. Juggling between protecting all of the fellas can be pretty difficult/tedious as many of the mechanics overlap at times (clicking near the yellows, while holding for the blues, while pushing off the reds)
this is very cool I could see a full mobile game version of this being very very addictive. super simple gameplay but clearly a lot of room to grow for the mechanics. great job!
Interesting concept, played it through the one level where the 2 blue are in the rectangle and the yellow needs to be pushed to the left was tough :D Cute little graphics. Overall would like to have the yellow ones be less janky but other then that great entry!!
Really fun gameplay, I agree with the person saying mobile would work well for this game. The controls are super intuitive!
Stuck in the gam
@ildr82 Where have you stuck? Maybe i can help you.
@gnats Sorry for that, i am blaming the site, cuz i lead to instruction and anyway, the screen is still white( @brotherbrody @diabolical-sloth @rhewid @lonelyfloat Thanks you all, i tried not to write tutorial and let players explore game themselves. Let them be smart. ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
As others have said, nice core mechanic! The little creatures are really cute, and everything feels pretty polished. You could definitely take this and keep making levels for a while,
The mechanic is interesting, but there's a small problem that you can control blue ball permanently by click continuously without costing any "stamina" lol.
Very daring to make a game with a physics based mechanic! I know I'm scared of it  But you really pulled it of nicely! Great that you managed to add several mechanics. I think it really shows in your game how with just a few you can create quite much and varied content. And great introduction and build up of the mechanics as well. Great job!
Stuck. In the sense of playing too much :)
Very unusual gameplay. I made game with same idea
Reminds me of those nostalgic puzzle games on flash game sites (: Very nicely executed!
I really enjoyed this little game. You do a great job of introducing new creatures and their associated behaviours. Well done!
It's not the easiest puzzle, but it's fun! I missed an autocomplete feature for the levels instead of using a button.
It's a cool game, but there are VERY few sounds and any effects, and so the idea is cool!
Very innovative design - I'd love to see more stages! Excellent job :)
this game is interesring ,I spent some time on this game to figure out out how to win, wish for more content to play
Interesting mechanics and well-designed levels. Hope to see more levels.
Amazing idea, I had a lot of fun :) it's very cute
Really cool!
Wanted to check out the controls at first but then I saw that you advise not to. So I went in blind and yep, it really adds to the fun trying to find out what movement mechanics every monster has.
Game feels pretty polished! Would love to see more levels :)
Good game! Level with blue and yellow creatures is hard, but cool
This is a very interesting game, it's just a pity that it does not automatically transfer to a new level, plus there is a loophole that with frequent pressing of the button, the scale is almost not spent at all. To have time to make such a volume so quickly is unrealistically cool! I respect
Great idea! Reminds me old puzzle games. Would like to have faster move of blue creatures. My favourite lvl is cosmic one. Edit: Audio and Music would be nice to have.
Great puzzle game! The mechanics were immediately obvious, and it felt really fun to play. The amount of progression between levels was perfect.
I particularly enjoyed this level, where I had to pay attention to where I clicked, to avoid the blue guys dying. This level is where I think the game mechanics are their strongest.

Some sound effects would have really put this entry over the top. And I encountered a bug where some of the little dudes got pushed off-screen and wouldn't come back, but the levels were short enough that it wasn't too big of an issue to retry it.
I think this game has potential for a post-jam version with more exploration of the game mechanics. Nice job!
Fun game, compelling combination of mechanics for a puzzle platformer. I can see this becoming a full size game with more time spent on level design and polishing the physics. Good work!
hell yeah! ^^ wish there were more levels, great game!
Really enjoyed your game, and also just wished there were more levels. I appreciated how you slowly introduced more and more concepts of the game throughout the levels, as to not overwhelm the player.
With more levels, and some sound/better feedback effects (for example a "poof" when a creature is destroyed), would really make it a fully-fledged game :)
The idea is very cool, but already on the second level, it was already very difficult for me
This game has some interesting gameplay. Its like lemmings, but with a vacuum. It gets a little bit tough on some of the levels with how long your vacuum lasts and how quickly things move, but i think the idea really has some merits! Nice work!
Sadly I can't get the game to load :(
@dooskington Sorry for that, some hotfix broke game completely. I restored previous version.
Fun little game. I wish there was some audio
This was a really cute entry, I actually love the simple but effective ideas of having the different creatures react slightly differently to the mouse!
I dunno if it was intentional, but having to click NEXT in the top right in order to complete the level actually made it harder. It reminds me of some old flash games on like, addicting games. Its really good overall!
Only thing is some music or SFX would go a long way. And the one level where the yellow triangles are off to the left, totally on the border of the viewport, made it really hard to propel them to the right. I think leaving a "padding" area for clicks-only to be registered to ensure you can propel objects at any angle would be a great fix for that!
2nd best game ever!! Cute art, I like the puzzles :)
@william-corrin About "Next button" - it need to divide player experience that want to go further & reach the best result. SFX is really problem for me, i spent 2 hours to make any kind of SFX or BG music, but better save your ears from that) I think you are talking about level 5, we be updated next time! Thanks for comment, it really helps ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
Interesting idea. Orbs reminds me loco roco a bit
Very interesting idea! Found it a little infuriating with the timer for the dragging at times, but the core puzzle ideas in this were really good! I definitely think if you had time for the audio it could've taken this to the next level - but overall this was a cute & fun game!
The itch.io page could use a little love, with the resolution of the player settings - was a bit hard to scroll around and see this on a laptop.
really cozy game I really really love that it makes me feel like a kid playing a flash game it feels like a game that could be on cool math games and it really brought me back and it was more challenging than i initially expected it was lots of fun and i really enjoyed the experience
Interesting mechanics! Really fun to play~
very unique mechanics!
I was really getting into it, wish it was longer. Balancing the different effects your control has on the different creatures is very engaging.
Managed to finish the game! Definitely interesting mechanics. They sometimes overlap, but that's the point, isn't it? I would add some extra UI that can let you restart more easily for cases where you accidentally kill enough creatures that you're unable to continue, but that's no biggie!
I really enjoyed playing "Tiny Trails" because it has beautiful graphics, fun mechanics.
is it just me or is there no sound? i like the mechanic a lot though
Very cool game, it would be nice if could have some music when play alone with
very good game sad its so short though i would have like to play more!the game mechanic is really cool and the levels are well designed congrats :)
Pretty good concept and gameplay, well done.
Fun game, reminds me a lot of the flash game era type of games which I love playing. Main thing that felt was missing was music in the background to jam to along with sound effects to add weight to actions happening in the game. Having a hotkey for restarting would probably also be a good addition if you continue post jam (e.g. binding that to r). Also having some sort of progress saving would be a really good QOL addition (either through a level select or just sending the player back to the level they were on) since I accidentally hit exit at one point which reset all progress
@dzejpi Will be added next update, tranks for notice @umnatz Sorry for that, sound is pretty hard to me(
Really cool core mechanic! I can see this growing into something even bigger with more levels and puzzles. The gameplay feels intuitive and the little characters are super charming! Great work!
This game has a unique concept, but playing it can be quite exhausting!
Such a fascinating game mechanic! It’s so refreshing to see something unique like this. Keep up the fantastic work—I'm excited to see where you take it next!
Nice and simple idea (which does not mean it's hard to come up with such)
I believe it can be published to mobile games if graphics were improved :D
Cool idea, but i think it should be more focused on puzzle gameplay rather than click percision and timings. Honestly i got frustrated so i didn't beat the game (level with two blue creatures which you have to keep alive, and yellow ones that seemed too hard to control). Maybe i would give the game more chances if there was a hotkey for restart
Really nice core mechanics! The yellow guys are my favorite. Only thing missing are some satisfying sound effects.
Excellent game - though I had no audio (didnt rate therefore).
Tricky but rewarding once you get the hang of it.
It's really nice! The controls are smooth, and the art style is super cute!
Nice, I am bad at agility base games, but I managed to get far enough to discover the different mechanisms which is nice in a Game Jam entry. I once added a "cheat" mode to allow players to discover more levels
very cool idea! i like the gradual introduction and combination of the different mechanics.
Simple but smart and fun!
Moving the yellow triangles is haaaaard. Love it! The game had no sound here, is it a bug? I see that you did'nt opt out of the audio category.
This game with a more polished version, sound and a more balanced difficulty curve could be really nice.
Cool game! I liked it.
Nice game! I enjoyed the simple mechanics and was hoping for more when I finished it!
fun game. I finished it. each has its own unique interaction.
I like the innovation on the machanism. It's fun.
Nice! I wanted to play more :) I didn't hear any audio?
Nice game! I like the mechanism the most! Simple, but fun!
Great idea and very cute little creatures! I love how they stare at you and sometimes move their eyes around, it makes them look like they are constantly wondering what I'm about to fail next.
It wasn't clear to me at which distance the creatures would react to the mouse. I struggled with the yellow ones, it seems like they always launch full speed but if you click just a few pixels too far away, they don't react at all. I think a "further away = less speed" mechanic would've helped there.
The yellow ones are also pretty bad at rolling (well, they are triangles) which caused them to jump into the air a few times when I wanted them to slide along the ground. This was quite frustrating, they always jumped right into black creatures.
I also feel like automatically resetting the level / going to the next one would help a lot, currently it is a bit annoying to do the extra click. Also there's no indication that a level is no longer possible, I spent a lot of time getting three yellows one through the course without realizing I needed four :confounded:
@lunaria-rava Thanks for good review, restart feature will come with next update (if i will not be lazy)
(づ ᴗ _ᴗ)づ♡
@chocolat-endive Thanks for review, audio was an option in my game, but it takes too much time i decided not to implement it (╥‸╥)
I liked the unique concept of the game and level variety.
I think that having so imprecise control over the creatures makes the game fun but also frustrating sometimes. Also, even if I managed to get all the creatures to where they needed to be, I felt like I just got lucky.
It would be cool if there was some kind of ending scene after the final level. Maybe something similar to main menu animation, it added a very nice touch.
Great job! Good luck with your future projects!
Nice game, I enjoyed playing it without reading how all the creatures work like suggested. Thanks!
Great concept! It was fun to figure out what they all do!
Interesting mechanics, and very fun to play! Great Job :)
I like the concept, the character designs are fun, and the levels are well designed. It reminds me of kind of the inverse of that old flash game Meeblings, where the different creatures respond differently to the cursor directly, instead of using different abilities of each creature type as a tool to work with the others. The main issue that comes to mind is just the lack of sound. The only other tweak I can think of (beyond just adding more levels) is automatically restarting the level a second or two after it becomes impossible due to not enough creatures. Overall a nice entry, I just want sound to go with it. Good work.
Nice job keeping the rules simple while giving each level a unique mechanic. I appreciate that each level had a fresh idea instead of, "okay do that again, but bring *more* now!"
Mechanics are simple but unique and diverse! Great game and level design here. You don't even need to read an instruction to get what to do! Such a good job, and in a compo no less!
Nice game! I expecially loved the yellow thingy, so satisfying to play!
Nice game! I love the interaction between the yellows and blues, needing to push yellows without disrupting the blues too much was a serious challenge!
I liked the aspect of having to figure out how to move each creature, and how they interacted with each other (I avoided reading the spoilers :) )
Really cool puzzle game. Fun to figure our the mechanics, I just wish there was more feedback and juice regarding where you clicked and the area of effect of your click. But overall I really enjoyed solving this, great entry!
very unique and creative puzzle platformer game ! Unfortunatly stuck at this level ^^""" Capture d’écran 2024-10-12 231715.png
Really nice game, was fun playing it, Would love to play more level.
Good job !
Great idea! A suggestion would be to not put the exit button next to the restart button (I accidentally exited 2 times because of this). Also (I was playing on itch.io but) I don't think I can see the 'next' button on the ludum dare game embed.Screenshot 2024-10-21 at 8.47.37 PM.png
It's pretty inventive and actually quite fun! I wish there were more levels. My strat with the blue blobs was to click so you could keep them in the air. The art has a charm to it. Would be a fun game released with a level editor!
Reading the description I was expecting a vikings style puzzle game. But I got something very unique, well done :) the trickiest to figure out for me was the movement of the yellow triangles, the rest was very intuitive
