I can only agree with my predecessors. The humor is really good. This ties in with the fun graphics and music. It just sells that slight chaotic energy that comes with the premise.

Wow that was fun! It definitely feels like a nice twist on the common 2D shooter. The art and music was great and the theme was definitely nailed.
The graphics and the morbid humor stood out to me. It's a really cute game. Simple, yet the story itself is a real treat. Adding the fun music makes it (I agree with my predecessors) a cute game.
It is definitely a fun game! I got to 4:35 but unfortunately it became unplayable due to the huge amounts of lag.
I can agree with the other. This game is fun. The art is cool, the gameplay is solid. Playing it feels really nice.
Quite a weird game, but it was fun nonetheless!
Its a neat little game and the graphics and music are really eerie. The crafting system is nothing that innovative though I like the "carry only one thing" aspect. Made it more realistic. That said, the game just excels at Mood. Really immersive.
Wow. It was so eerie. The minimalistic music and sfx paired with the PS1 like graphics. And damn the eyes. It was such a cool and scary experience.
Cute game, a bit bare bones but that normal for LD games I guess. The graphics were nice though
It's neat! And the retro art style and sound effects give it a bit of a nostalgic feeling of older flash game times.
It really is innovative! The game mechanic of putting the launch codes in ties in really well with the theme and premise. Its not something you would expect in such a game, cause it might be quite distracting. But here it wasn't. The Codes were chosen carefully to make it not as annoying having to type in the code every time. Good job!
The graphics are quite something. I love them. Gameplay-wise its simple and maybe a bit confusing at times, but its still reaaally enjoyable.
The game loop is really solid and combined with the nice paper-like asthetics it rounds up the experience quite well. Trying to balance the protection of the eggs while making sure that the dinosaurs themselves dont die is fun! Well done.
The gameplay is pretty simple but a bit wanky. The jump doesnt feel right and some platforms are just a bit too far too reach at all. That said the graphics themselves are quite nice and the music definitely works!
Unfortunately the controls didnt workout for me :/ it looks really cute though!
Neat little game. Its a simple wave shooter but still a lot of fun. Especially because of the graphics and different weapons.
Its a weird little game, definitely stylish! It gave me a bit of PS1 vibes. The camera is reeeally finnicky though.
I really like the idea. Though I dont clearly see the Theme applied. Still it had something to it, the audio was nice. The detective story was a bit weird. Overall tho its a neat game.
Thank you all so much for your nice comments already (:
@bougiebirdie Thank you for your kind words! It is a bit finnicky yes. I think you can press the spacebar to press the button, because it is selected automatically. So it should be a bit less cumbersome.
@greenpig Im happy to hear that. I guess you are refering to the switch between the action music and the date music. Firstly, I wrote both in the same key, G major. And second, the date music is roughly half the speed of the action music. So i guess that ties them together somewhat. Also the piano pick up at the beginning of the action music definitely helps.
@chusmimax yes unfortunately we had to prefer other more important. But I am glad you still liked it (:
@niklas-zhaga Wow you actually did it! Congrats, your bonus will be 666$ this century.
@renge thank you! Yea it is kinda bittersweet. And it's interesting to see that you saw that not much could be done and chose to stay with your date (: Good choice!
It reminded somewhat reminded of a mix of "2048" and Tetris (but with more appealing graphics). The concept is neat and does tie in with the theme of delaying the inevitible, i.e. clogging up the whole gameboard.
Haha it was so fun (and relatable). The theme incorporation is fantastic, the art and sfx are neat and the gameplay is solid (tho it gets a bit boring fast). Well done!
I kinda loved it! The graphics were great and the gameplay somewhat unique. Though the music diid get a bit repetitive. But thank you for including Popcat. That was a funny idea.
It was quite fun! Simple tower-defense. No big twist though unfortunately. But the graphics, music and dialogue made up for it.
Its a chill game and you actually have to do some thinking to outrun the grim reaper! At times it was a bit too hard. Graphics are top notch tho, I love those kinds of tile-based games.
The concept alone makes it really fun, though I think a bit more new stuff apart from the turret-defense game loop would have served it well. Nevertheless it got me hooked for sometime and thats definitely something! Keep at it!
I enjoyed it much more than I anticipated. The game concept is simple yet challenging, the spin mechanic definitely helps it to be more enjoyable. The premise feels a bit biographical haha and I can see how it ties in with the theme.
Right into the damn feelings.. cute game.
It really ties into my love for dark 2D games like "The Binding of Isaac" or "Little Misfortune". Luv it.
The gameplay is pretty simple and straight-forward. At times a bit finnicky. But the graphics and premise do help out a lot with that.
It is a simple running game, yet the art definitely sells it! I like that you sticked to that art style. At times its frustrating but not to a point where one would punch their screen. Nice work!
All in all a nice little game, the graphics are pretty neat.
Fun little shooter, but there unfortunately isnt much more to discover.
Well it's one-sided pong. I would have liked for it to have more of a twist there, but it works!
The art and sfx are very nice. Retro gaming is always kind of cool. It was quite difficult though
Very stylish game. As my predecessor already said, its very reminiscent of "Papers, please" but not a in a bad way. The graphics are fantastic, the music works and the game is chill and entertaining. Best one I have played so far.
The game is enjoyable tho confusing at times. The artstyle is okay, not particularly my cup of tea but it works. But doing a meta-game about the jam is genius. Though I find it hard to find the connection to the theme. All in all tho a solid experience!
I always like vampire survivor like games and this one also just is pure fun to shoot and move around.
Wow. Really amazing cute little strategy game. The graphics are amazing. Never would've had the idea to use Townscaper haha. But it fits so well!
Haha what a brilliant game. I do gotta say it got quite scary, because the cat AI would sometimes quickly rush towards you.
The concept is pretty cool, I struggled a bit with finding out what works and what doesnt though. A small tutorial would be cool.
Kinda amazed how much out of a seemingly simple concept you developed in 48 hours! It's such a lovely cute game, I actually kinda forgot to look out for reviewing stuff XDD. Just cozy and fun.
The aesthetic is amazing. To me the gameplay seems a bit basic but the pretty graphics and the audio make up for it.
Love the concept XD. It's so well executed too. The art is kinda amazing for a game jam and the gameplay is simple but suits the overall goal well.
What a lovely game. Havent played 3D Jump and Runs in a while and this definitely scratched my itch for it. Lovely character and world design (:
Damn I really enjoyed this. Kinda reminded me of my entry with the "one control for every creature". I absolutely adore the hand drawn assets :D. It just fits far too well haha
Interesting take! Nice visuals I think it could have a bit more depth because the main idea is very good.
Very cute game (: the drawings are adorable and the gameplay is actually intriguing XD. The flowers were a bit misleading though. They looked so pretty and I realised too late they spawn a harming cloud.
It looks cute and fun but maybe you should include some tutorial? I did not really understand the goal :D
Cute little game :3 it is quite difficult indeed. Anyone that can complete the whole thing in 1 minute, I applaud to you xD.
At first I thought: "Well how difficult can a >Where is Waldo< type game be for a game jam. But I actually took a decent amount of time in most levels. It's quite fun and reminiscent of old gems you would find on online flash game sites. The bugs designs are superb, loved the creative variations and overall vibe of them (:
It's unique and charming (: what bugged (so funny) me a bit was that the collector sometimes did not work properly. Bugs were near or inside it but weren't collected it so I had to restart. But all in all I liked it (:
Yea, the download was worth it. It was so fun to play. It reminded me a bit of my entry (with the "one control, many creatures" thingy). And the sprites are animated sooo gorgeously. Amazing that you did this in 48 hours :D.
Awwwwwwwwww XD. Cute little game (: I think the gravity is a tight bit too high though. So its more of a "spam balloons" thing for me which is a bit at odds with the cozy game aesthetic.
@tuism Thanks for your suggestions :3
- Yea I was thinking about including a meter below but decided against it but thought it would be nice for people to figure it out xD good suggestion with the pixel skips tho - It started off as a fix when they spawn and collide, they would fly off xD became a "feature" - Oh so the fireball thingy spawns on its own and I guess you were at the same position and it triggered the death - They actually get faster, just not a lot xD
@acdia Damn! Very impressive. I suspect a bit that I might have forgotten to change the ending difficulty factor at around 6 minutes.. xDD
@imai-time well... I was letting the theme running through my head and tried to come up with an idea. While doing that I was scrolling social media and got like a push notification from Reddit about a Subreddit. And then I thought.. "Hey.. who delivers those push notifications". Yea. XD
@sheepolution Thank you (: Yea if you noticed, the eyes of Steve's shrink over time and you can make them grow again by successfully delivering notifications. At some point the attention is gone and the game ends. @tuism suggested some nice improvements to this "meter" (:
And if you felt like it going endless: Yea.. that's doomscrolling :3
@silkworm-sweatshop I could argue that this is analogous to how people keep doomscrolling even if the stuff they get stays the same, hoping to find some more gems etc. And how this is a reflection on yourself if you keep going or not and when you can yourself break that doom spiral.
But no. I forgor to update the end difficulty value xD.
Nailed the theme. Was a bunch of fun trying to capture those little olives XD
Hmm i mean its very moody. The game mechanics are.. well.. space bar and trying to keep them fed and warm. I mean its alright but I think there could be a few more features.
The controls or the view at least are a bit weird. It gets some getting used to but its a small cute shooter.
I think what I like most about the game is the graphics and the aesthetics. The breeding stuff etc. iis quite difficult but I enjoy just coming up and combining different fish.
Reminds me of those nostalgic puzzle games on flash game sites (: Very nicely executed!
The arte is so cute :3 paired with the gameplay it actually feels a bit like an episode of Tom & Jerry xD. Tho at some point I was caught by the cat and the game thought I won?
Never thought about what happens in a vending machine. But glad you showed me :3. Very cute game and I dont think I saw something similar ever haha
I must say, I think this is the best one I played yet. As an audio guy I appreciate the songs a lot (very reminiscent of the first Geometry Dash songs (,: ). The graphics are simple, yes, but they have one coherent vibe. And that to me means much more (: Well done!
@tuism yea that's what I also thought. So much executed so well in so little time.
Very unique. I found it a bit difficult to get the hang of it but it was quite relaxing and fun!
