Kinda amazed how much out of a seemingly simple concept you developed in 48 hours! It's such a lovely cute game, I actually kinda forgot to look out for reviewing stuff XDD. Just cozy and fun.

Really enjoyed this, great vibe and super cute, my daughter also loved playing around with it (she did accidentally down a few haha)
Super cozy! Only time I had to interact was when I noticed they were all sitting around, waiting for coconuts. Otherwise it was just nice to relax and watch them to do their thing.
It was uneasy to create i guess. This is very great job! I think it needs more interactions.
Super cool little creature tribe sim! I enjoyed figuring out things like turning the little creatures postal and the shrinks fixing them! I also likes that you can choose to continue after the queen dies! very unique and awesome game!
A sweet and fun little game. I like the music and the visuals. I have a feeling that I didn't have to do much. But overall a well made and fun game.
Honestly one of the best games I've played so far in the jam! Really pretty graphics and the audio is nice. Mechanics are really fun to use and I probably spent way too long playing around just petting, inspecting and messing around with all the little creatures. Really awesome job!
Very nice looking game, there I suppose there isn't much to do as the game mostly plays itself. But it's a good vibe, and it's interesting to see the little fellas develop.
P.S. being able to move the camera with WASD would be nice!
The game is so cozy, that I didn't even want to interact with the creatures much, just watched them living their happy life on a paradise island.
Thanks for the experience!
I accidentally punched a creature and it made a sad face at me, 10/10. This is super cute, love the art style.
A lot of content for a compo game! I really like both the graphic style and the music, had a very nice time watching over my little village. It was really fun seeing new professions so often when eggs hatched!
Very enjoyable entry! It's just nice to see them hop around :)
An almost perfect game! The music and art are very enjoyable.
I love the variation of jobs, musicians, painters, counselors are a joy to watch among all the workers. Overall a very impressive submission
Very cool little game, you managed to put a lot into it for the compo. I enjoyed the art, music&sfx and overall chill atmosphere. Only thing I noticed is carrying items and then edge-scrolling is buggy. Very nice and fun entry!
Its an impressive amount of work with all the art and mechanics. I had fun figuring out how too keep my blobcreatures happy
i love how they go about and chance plays a role in how things work out for them . cool idea!!
Very nice! Those graphics are hella cute! Loved the chill gameplay, good job!
- Me: "oh eg? i wil hit eg to break fast" - Me: *spam clicks egg and realize it doesn't go faster - Me: "oh poor egg, i'm sor- OH A PINK THING!"
At some point my tiny creatures just stood there +SOCIAL, all of them. i thought they were lazy so i started beating them up... which was kinda unfair when i noticed they just wanted coconuts, and thats when i had an AHA moment! Honeslty, a sim where you kinda nudge the creatures in the right direction after different "phases" in the game seems appealing!
Awesome job! The aesthetics are *chefs kiss
So impressive! Again. Was going to I can't believe it was made in just three days and then I saw it's a compo game and I'm just baffled.
There's so much stuff, and it's overall so polished in terms of visuals, sound, and feel. Mostly I can only complain about minor things (like someone else, I'd prefer WASD panning) but I do feel like in the end maybe it seemed a bit aimless. I see you've added goals post-jam, tho I prefer the peacefulness of the original to the fighting. :p
By the end my islands looked like this!

Maybe there's a commentary on overpopulation and draining of resources here, altho the trees always seemed to regenerate faster than the creatures were able to cut them down. p:
Just amazing the amount of different kinds of creatures with different sprites and behaviours you were able to add in such a short time. The music and sounds are very pleasant. I did keep getting scared by the fact that tree-cutting sounded the same as creatures taking damage!
After the initial exploration process of learning about each new creature as they hatched, I mostly ended up driving around the map endlessly clicking coconuts to make sure they were fed, which was that "aimless" point I mentioned, but it was still neat to see what was everyone was up to.
I didn't slap or drown them except by accident, but the saddest moment was when I was investigating a sad blob and trying to figure out what it needed but mid-read it died and the tooltip changed in front of me to "wants: nothing"… :'(((
Overall felt great to play and look at and listen to, really nice tactile feedback to the different hand actions. Besides the issues you've already addressed post-jam, this is just wonderful, so high scores from me! c:
Very innovative!
Great job! Nice visuals and nice idea! Keep making games!
This is really impressive, there is so much going on here. The art is cool, the systems feel robust, such a well executed simulation. Took me a few minutes to understand what was going on but then I started helping out and we started moving. Great entry!
Wow! A tiny creature artificial life simulation! It partially reminds me of *Creatures* (a 1996 game). I'm not sure if you drew any inspiration from it, but I highly recommend checking it out. In fact, I’d love it if these creatures had their own DNA, allowing them to mix with others during reproduction. That way, you'd get new tiny creatures with different colors, sizes, behaviors, and so on. Aside from this geeky suggestion, I have to admire what a fantastic game this is and what a solid entry! Every aspect scores high, and for a Compo, it's outstanding. My sincere congratulations, great game!
I tried both versions, the original version and the post-jam version. In the original version, my tiny tribed multiplied and were happy under my fair, yet iron-fisted rule. All the coconuts and pets they want and only the occasional beating to improve morale. In the post-jam version, the tiny, tiny soldier caste apparently had enough when the other tribe came to attack our queen and razed their part of the islands to the ground in return, which resulted in supreme victory for my tiny tribe.
Love this game. The tiny blobs are incredibly cute and have a lot of character. Very enthralling to see them move around and live their lives. I also love how you put so many creative types in here. Not just foragers and woodcutters, but painters, musicians and even shrinks. I'm building a civilization here. The art and the music set the mood perfectly, it really captures the comfy tiny nationbuilding vibe, it fits extremely well. All around, this game just feels great to play. Super impressive, very well done!
Those blobs seem to be too dumb to live. Get hungre standing on the coconuts (and next to storage with food), and then go postal and killing each other. I guess I'm doing something wrong?
Very cute game, i really liked the imaginative jobs. I was not sure what we were building towards, like the sailor venturing out but coming back without a clear achievement of sorts. I really liked to use the magnifier info box to see what job they have. It seemed i needed to close the box with right click, which also would switch tools. I didn't pay much attention to the different needs, especially since i can't seem to influence them much. The only useful interaction i found was knocking down coconuts. But it was a very cute game and the idea of small civilizations is really appealing.
Cute and interesting little computer creatures game. There's enough going on to keep the interest up for a few minutes, and the post-jam version looks interesting.
Very cute game! It was very cozy to watch the little guys do their thing, I was rooting for them.
I loved the mood and game loop. GJ!
Great graphics, really cool music. Super relaxing to play. Had a great time watching the little blobs run around doing stuff.
A bunch appeared to get stuck - they had wants but wouldn't move. I just put them in a little circle / made them into a club :)
That's cozy ! I didn't found a victory condition, but it's relaxing to see all tiny people living its life. I tried the post jam version to see what you had in mind but didn't had time to implement, it's interesting ! I really like the pixel art and all the little animations / effects, nice polish ! Congratulations for your entry !
