Ok, first: weird! Well executed and nice soundtrack! Quality control passed
Great idea and cool take on the theme! I had to play w. keys, so maybe this was the reason the controls and physics felt a bit unpredictable. The environment and player visuals are somewhat at odds, with some polish this could be a very fun game. Very good entry
Cool little game, something else! I really like/am very much annoyed by the music ;) Rework the visuals a bit and i would like to see more of the game
Nice collection! I got stuck at times, but had fun. Well done!
Cool concept, great look! Controls work fine. I really like the wallpaper design ;) VR version coming soon?
Cool little game, i really like the art style and gameplay! Controls were a bit frustrating, though that kept up the challenge for me.
Nice and complete little game! Solid platformer controls and level design/progress. Regarding your programmer art, I especially liked the waiting customer's little idle animation
I like the pixel art style and lighting. Game has a lot of potential, i would like to see more
Very cool idea and game, a mix of fine ingredients. Great entry!
Cool take on the theme and great art style! Plays well and is fun, great job!
Great look and feel! Cool style and plays well! Core game seems almost polished. Great entry!
Cool take on the theme and fun hectic gameplay! Great that you managed to build a complete apartment for this, very well done!
Embedded game works fine for me on Win/Firefox! Nice little runner, quite difficult. Well done!
Cool take on the theme and a classic principle. Nice consistent style! MP sounds intersting. Great job!
A great little game! Very cute look and all-around polished, fun narrative. Really great job
Nice idea! Gameplay seems incomplete though, and for me some UI elements are way to large and off-screen.
Very nice look and start animation, cool little story ;) controls were a bit frustrating though. I want more of this setting
Very cool style, plays well! Fun little game, well done.
Really like the look and art style! Nice in-game instructions, but maybe a bit too much text. Controls are a bit frustrating but maybe okay for the challenge
Great style! I enjoyed it, feels quite polished. Ran without problems, great job!
Cool concept! The stress of the curses stacking up.. I like the look and style. Would like to see more!
Cool little game and nice graphics! As others have said, the controls get in the way quite a bit. Fun entry!
This is great! Positively mind-warping great play on the theme. Overall great experience, well done!
Embedded game runs well! Nice entry
Haha, this is crazy, i enjoyed this
Great look and style. I was a bit lost at first. You managed to put a lot of stuff in, cool UI concepts! Well done
Smooth animation! I was a bit confused what to do.
Great concept and core mechanics and nice visuals! I found the controls a bit challenging with the fast turning speed and slow movement. Also during the transition from game to placing a new spell gets very stressfull. I played for quite a while and enjoyed it. Great job, would like to see more of this game!
Solid, classic gameplay and clean visuals.
Haha fun little game! Nice to see the gallery in the end, with some work to get there. Solid story. Nice entry!
Nice little game! I got lost a bit visually, it would be nice to see some more of the world and situation around you
Funny game! Nice Tutorial, but a bit long, i skipped over it first but had to go back. Great look in game
Great style, look polish! Cute stuff and fun game, i really enjoyed it.
Cool idea, fun little builder! Would like to see this fleshed out!
Nice hand-drawn art style! The controls might be a bit wonky, but that added to the pressure. My escape was pretty hard. Well done
Very cute and relaxing, great platform controls and polish. I had fun. Great job!
Great to see an analog / p&p game with easy setup! Nice instructions too. Great job!
Great style and look! Web build worked nicely for me. Gameplay is a challenge. I would like to see this more fleshed out, maybe some animations and dynamics? Cool entry
Great style and audio! Really a complete little game. Well done!
Very nice smooth movement, oddly relaxing. Well done!
Great art style and creepy atmosphere! Controls are a bit wonky. I enjoyed throwing pizzas at the creeps.
Very cute, great little game. Very well done I like birds!
Nice idea! I am reminded of "keep talking and nobody explodes". Great intro, crazy story, gameplay is stressfull and maybe a bit too minimal ;)
Cool take on the theme! Fun little game, and I found it challenging enough. Great job!
Great idea! Nice art style. HTML5 game froze for me after some time playing
Fun classic gameplay, not much innovation though. Played without any problems! Nice snappy title ;)
Classic gameplay and solid core, also quite a challenge, nice entry!
Relaxing and beautiful game! I enjoyed playing it. It is a bit hard to keep track of the different colors and what they do and it was very easy to defend for a long time. Very nice art style and concept, with some balancing i would like to play some more
Kind of like lo-fi Overcooked? :) I like that! Controls are a bit wonkey, but embed plays well in my browser. Well done!
I expected some kind of escape the room game first! Have to say, it feels a bit slow and gameplay is not really a challenge
Nice mood/look and great movement/controls. Really feels like old-school FPS
Nice game! I was confused about what to do at first. I like the music
Oh you, Floor! Cool concept and take on the theme, but would benefit from a bit more sophisticated platformer controls. Nice entry
Great look and style with classic gameplay, i like it
Pretty bold and funny concept, always refreshing to see something unexpected here
I really like minimal the art style and animations. The gameplay was a bit confusing and I was constantly fighting the camera, but jumping around and swinging the space stick was fun. Quite impressive for 48h !
Some impressive graphics/animation for the compo, and fun to play for a bit. The player really moves frustratingly slow. I actually liked the chill music.
Cool little game, I like how you conveyed some kind of narrative with this simple gameplay. I'm glad that we're friends, too, Mr. Tree.
Very cool, very meta ;) Refreshing concept, and i really enjoyed the little animations. Everything worked smoothly for me.
Fun little game, i really enjoyed training. Nice animations and the core mechanics worked well. I repeatedly got stuck in the menu. Bit of a stretch on the theme, though. Still, a cool entry
@eggshelldog I think this was after i went back to the menu by pressing H, the game still ran in the background but i was stuck in the menu and could not select anything. I just tried to reproduce that, but this time everything worked ok, so not sure what happened then.
Solid simple card game, very interesting (and certainly controversial) use of generated art. I am not sure if the damage count was buggy or maybe i misunderstood the rules.
Flying felt good and was easy to control. I think this would be a bit dangerous with a real plane ;) I like your idea with the grain silo, but yeah, 48h .. Cool entry!
This is good, i really like the flow of jumping from planet to planet. Controls work nicely.
I think the concept has some potential, but controls were frustrating. It would have made more sense to me to fly the ship with keyboard controls, maybe even with some basic acceleration/turning mechanics. The planets and ship look nice, though
Interesting concept with the mix of skill game and management sim. The gameplay is a bit .. dry, and it got a bit annoying to check each plot for distribution, clicking on it and entering a number. A different interface would help there, i think. I enjoyed the chill music!
Thank you all for playing!
@angryrubberducky @gcake @jason-wilson @mahalis
Sorry for the bad lag (for most) when moving, i made an ill-advised last-minute change that resulted in a lot of totally unnecessary hit-checks for the enemies. Unfortunately this wasn't too noticeable on my machine at the time.
Another thing that didn't work when i submitted the game were the other sound effects.
If anyone wants to try and find the king cactus again, i fixed these issues in a Post-Jam version that also has controls for mobile: [https://fnelix.itch.io/king-of-the-valley-mobile](https://fnelix.itch.io/king-of-the-valley-mobile)
I like to be strict about the compo limits and keep the submitted version as it is.
Cool little game! The movement felt slow at first, but this made the game more challenging. Graphics are simple and effective. I like the consistens art style.
Clever use of the collected wheat for climbing energy! I enjoyed the throwback to SotC and the somewhat silly take on the theme ;) The controls/camera are not perfect but worked well enough for me.
Very happy to see this kind of deduction puzzle in the compo! I just had time to play for a short while and did not get very far, so i can't say how the puzzling works out. But I really like the concept and style. Cool entry!
Very good art and mood. Of course minimal gameplay, but this could easily be fleshed out to be a nice exploration game.
Nice little game! I was confused how to play at first, but then I read your instructions. Smooth movement and control, everything worked for me.
Cool little puzzle game! Very cute art. Player movement could be a bit faster, but maybe i am too impatient. Really liked the puzzle design. Great entry!
Great game! I really like the art style and gameplay, controls worked smoothly, cute details, very cool.
Nice game and great banjo spundtrack! The camera lagging behind the player made it quite hard to look ahead and avoid the cows when going at full speed (and who would go slow..). I really liked the corn growing back in the next lap. Really fun entry
If life doesn't give you lemons, yank them out of its hands, I guess. There is a mood. Nice style!
The game worked fine for me and I like the rushed overcooked-style gameplay! The extra shop menu with upgrades might feel a bit extraneous and took me out of the game flow, as did the click-to-use controls. I think levels with different setups of plots/obstacles/stall/etc. would be an improvement. Nice entry!
Very cute classic platformer, smooth controls, everything works nicely together. I really like the music!
I like the scribbled art and music, but I feel really lost with the gameplay. Maybe you could add some short instructions on how to play?
Cool little game, i like the retro arcade feel, controls, art and audio really fit together. As others have said, maybe the enemies are a bit too strong. The gun is not of much use, it's easier to just avoid the bugs. Anyway, nice entry!
Nice intro, and straightforward game. I guess you don't care for baked apples? ;) I actually enjoyed the challenge and stressful pace
Cute little game! I was a bit confused with the game ending instantly when i repeatedly walked over my first crop, but figured it out. You get a long a way by sticking to the corners. Player control could be a bit more snappy. Nice voxel-style graphics.
Link seems broken? So the screenshots are a bit of a teaser ;)
Hey I know that game ;) Very nice, I really liked the customer voices. Could use some more lighting, cool entry!
I could select the pawn but was not able to move him in any way, i tried right-click on buildings/labels/terrain, any keys etc. Looks quite nice though!
Looks nice and plays well! Fun little puzzler
Took a minute to understand it, but then it worked well. Nice art style, but could do with a bit more gameplay. Like the other I really enjoyed the dynamic music!
Cool little game! I liked the trading, but wished the boat would go faster. Nice entry!
I enjoyed driving around and listening to some tunes. Peaceful, nice mood. Controls were a bit off, especially for the car. Nice entry, had a good time!
I found the controls nice and scootery. I had fun delivering those pizzas and getting some upgrades. Cool entry!
Wow, that's a lot of sheep, I should sleep well tonight.. Cute little game!
Cool game, I enjoyed the overall style and the voice acting and music. Like other I would have preferred free movement. Great entry!
Fun little game, it's difficult but I think that's a good thing. Cool idea for movement, great sound. Had fun!
Nice game, a bit hard to grasp at first and not easy, I like the core idea. I was reminded of those old little flash games, too, which not a bad thing!
Thank you all for playing! Not really sorry for the high difficulty, I was going for a classic arcade feel, so don't forget to insert a coin for each new run ;)
@buni Sorry to hear that, seems to work for most. There is also a win64 build, or maybe try the web build on mobile for some extra difficulty?
@adan1032 That is quite good! My high score is at 2400
Great entry, plays really well! Really a challenge to manage riding, shooting and the pizzas. Had fun!
Very cool puzzle game, I really enjoyed it. I like the art style and easy to grasp mechanics. Nice!
Nice little game! I enjoyed playing, a lot of things going on for these simple ingredients. Cool entry!
I had a hard time to figure out what to do, jumping and moving around is frustrating. Unclear why I died, and I could not find any cats. Unfortunately seems a bit broken
Cool little game! Really comes together with the gameplay and art style and everything. Got 11 babies on my first try. Had fun!
Cool game, works great! I really enjoyed the art style and gameplay. Would be nice to only play with either mouse or keys (menu too). Very impressive entry!
Took a minute to understand what is going on, but then enjoyed the game. Looks good, too. I like the minimap. Good house, bad house ;)
I liked the plane controls and flew a cool looping! Nice entry
Nice look and peaceful gameplay, you need a bit of patience to see all the scenery
Cool idea to combine cards and typing, very polished and complete little game, great!
Great! I very much like the little band-aids. Nice atmosphere to contrast my own feelings about stressful parking situations. Kept waiting for a little narrative to happen with the (colored) cars, I feel like there is space for something sweet and minimal storywise. Very nice entry!
I am a beach cop sign! I don't make the rules, I brutally enforce them. Fun little game and cool idea. Everything worked fine for me, it's really hard to catch the fast baddies.
Great concept, quite some gameplay complexity achieved with minimal means, very cool. I think the interaction/responsewould benefit from a better UI. As others have said, the pacing is a bit slow. For me only two departing spacecraft ever appeared, too. Maybe a bug with game progress? Anyway, good entry!
-80 points, there was limited space, fun little game! I like the sound effects/music and wonky physics. I prefered the mouse-look camera. Great entry!
Nice, not at all bad for your first in Godot! A bit crazy of you to try and put in a leaderboard, but very motivating for the players. I felt the giving-up animation when you get off the track.
Fun little game! Very stylish and polished visuals. I like your take on the theme.
Fun idea and very ambitious for the compo! I could not survive for very long, I think more time on the first day and some kind of pointer where to start would help. Nice entry!
Antenna for animal videos > Lasers&Missiles, Nice idea with a limited space autobattler
Very nice, had fun towing some ships! The controls and towboat physics are a bit janky, but this adds to the challenge. I made something with ships, too, but I like the look of your big ships better. Good entry!
Cool minimalistic game, 1-button control is nice, but the game is really hard and unforgiving. I agree with the post before me, with some tweaks and polish this could be a great mobile game.
Nice little game! I especially liked the sound effects and smooth & simple combat. Unexpected variety of enemies. Good entry!
Thank you all for playing!
@xwilarg @marcus-otterstrom You're totally right about keeping your level progress / retrying last stage, I changed this for the post-jam version: https://fnelix.itch.io/shipped-off
Very nice, I like the idea and overall look/game screen layout. 'Controls worked smoothly, but it took me a bit to figure out that there is no indicator whether the forks are up or down. Nice variety of jobs!
Limited Space X Kill Bill as a mini game! Nice idea
Amazing art! I like the music and sound design. Nice take on the theme, too. Gameplay is solid. The wording and font of the instructions made it a bit hard to read in limited time. Very nice!
I actually like the combination of management tasks with physics-based/challenging controls and feel that it fits nicely with the threat of the asteroids as the main theme. I think this would work with some tuning of player movement and controls. The art style is great! As other and you have said, this game desperately needs a good introduction for the player to understand what is going on. Anyway, cool entry!
Nice entry! I like the concept of finding the best path through the unchanged levels. I agree with the others, there is not much motivation to do anything but line up upgrades until the bossfight. Nice little game!
Nice game, has a wild mix of fun ideas in it! Gameplay is pretty unforgiving, though I enjoyed the relaxing music while I failed
Very nice! Simple and solid gameplay, good level design. I very much enjoyed the piano and flute!
Very nice to have a realtime strategy game for the theme. Worked great, I had fun!
Cozy little walking experience! I liked the walking/beatboxing-loop and of course the bird, is he wearing a trenchcoat?
I enjoyed the clean & nice look and was looking forward to investigating the situation through conversation. There wasn't that much depth and some filler and to be honest I found the tone to be a bit off. With some work this could be a nice investigative format!
Very nice! Fun gameplay and simple enough, good presentation. I especially enjoyed the sfx and music, and of course the enemy design and animations.
I always wanted to play as a broom! I like the neat look of things and the little sound effects. Nice entry to the escape broom genre ;)
Nice little game, I really enjoyed the sound effects. The text was sometimes hard to read because of the color and position, but I think I understood what I needed to do. Still killed myself several times.
Wow, difficulty really picks up after the first level ;) Rhythm gameplay works fine, cool music and art. Very nice!
Very nice and relaxing, really enjoyed this. Great look and feel. Hats off!
Clever idea, great music, and so stressful! I think you have to guess the right answer sometimes? Fun little game
You went for the old school GTA experience! Car controls work ok for me, but I had trouble entering it. Cool radio station! hVery ambitious game for the jam, no wonder you had to scrap lots of things. The city alone looks like it took you a long time to build. The colors are jarring though. Nice entry!
Very nice! Cool idea, a bit too easy to be sure, but very charming. I liked the little sounds.
Very nice, fun game and feels very complete for a compo game, you managed to put a lot of things in there. I like the art style and humour. UI and audio, too. Totally ok for me that our games share a few similarities ;)
Very cool! Very much liked the little sounds. The deckbuilding part seems like a good idea in theory, but there was not much choice or strategy. Nevertheless, fun entry!
Hi! Great music and sounds, and good writing. I like the idea. Game is quite challenging, too. Maybe the menus/UI could use some work, transitions/animations, some polish. But nevermind, very cool, had fun! Bye!
Very cool, everything fits together nicely, I liked the controls, look, sfx and music. Gameplay was fun. Great entry!
Very cool little game, you managed to put a lot into it for the compo. I enjoyed the art, music&sfx and overall chill atmosphere. Only thing I noticed is carrying items and then edge-scrolling is buggy. Very nice and fun entry!
Ok, the art and music did not prepare me for how hard this game is, though I can understand the bugs bumping against my windows much better now. But I liked the challenge and had some fun next to the frustration :) Cool game!
Very cool, I like the sleek look, everything fits really well! Gameplay works very good, music is cool, too. After two failed attempts, my colony really took of and I had more than enough nutrients after a while. Very impressive game for the compo!
Nice little prototype, the placeholder art would work as a style with some polish, I like the animations
Hey very cool game! Art style is nice and consistent, snail character with sticking/rolling movement is great. Super job for the Compo!
Oye, fun little runner! I like the simple clean art style, especially the little guys and cactii. Nice that it worked with touch controls, too.
Very cool little game, the art style suits it very well. I like the chill atmosphere and mystery. I went into it without reading any instructions and really enjoyed figuring out what was going on and how the little world works. Ýou managed to put a lot of things in the game for the compo. Great work!
As for others, the drag and drop did not work for me most of the time. The concept could work well for a nice puzzle game.
Throwback to Earth Defense Force! Nice, but shooting and movement feel pretty slow and sluggish.
I have read the instructions twice and still was not sure how to play. I managed to produce some units. I like the idea of the very abstract presentation but there should probably be some more visual indication of what is happening.
Nice little puzzle game, the art fits well. Got to the end with some tries.
Very fun entry, good selection of soundtrack. Nice details with the slime trail and of course the names ;)
Very nice! Seems we had a similar idea for the theme but very different approach. I like the challenging gameplay and all the small details you put into the environment.
Nice little minimalistic game
@dhim Hey, thanks! We fixed this, so you can now also use Shift/Space or Q/W to drag respectively grab stuff.
Nice little game, the art is nice and I liked the storytelling of all the items emerging.
Nice! Very cool that we made pretty similar games that still play different! I played on mobile and had no problems. Interacting with the pencil case and contents was a nice surprise. I enjoyed the chill music
Nice and chill game, I especially enjoyed the pixelart and soundtrack (though some sfx for the customers would be a nice addition). I found gameplay pretty intuitive and did not miss a tutorial or manual. Compliments to the chef!
Nice! I liked the overly dramatic meta-story
Very fun game! I enjoyed the head animations on the top bar and the great insults. Has everything an entry needs, Very cool!
Wow I feel stressed out. Fun and fitting concept for a jam. Cool little game!
Thank you all for playing!
@matt-giuca @jk5000 @stasm You are totally right to be a little confused by the gameplay. I was going to introduce increasingly complicated rules, and have your choices have at least some meaningful (narrative) consequences after each day leading up to day 6. Then goal was a hinted-at moral choice that runs counter to the obvious puzzle mechanics. But I ran out of time, so the presentation of consequences is almost totally missing and the puzzles after 2-3 days unfinished. I then tried to salvage the gameplay by some ill-advised and tired last minute changes to scoring and reporting, which made things worse. Really glad that you managed to see past these issues and find some potential in the game!
@frib Super cool that you checked out both endings!
Interesting mix of elements, I had some fun! UI could do with some more cues, I did not understand what you could/should do at first. Nice entry!
Cool game! Interesting combination of gameplay elements. I have to admit I was really bad at it.. With some polish regarding getting stuck and visual cues this could be a cool little arcade title.
Cool, very fun little game! I like the dancers animation once you get the parameters right. Very satisfying.
Nice little game! I enjoyed the often funny "noise" channels. I understood the UI ok, but I guess the gameplay itself could use some more inital guidance: Cool that audio is required!
Very cool and ambitious! I kind of liked the terminal style controls, although I agree some QoL features would help. Reading your description I see you had even more ambitious plans with this game and I think signal manipulation and more tactile controls and of course more puzzles would suit the concept. But totally understandable that you could not fit this into the jam. Anyway, very nice entry!
Fun little game! I have no idea how you got to this concept from "Signal", but I enjoyed it. Original idea, solid voice acting, cool entry!
Very cool puzzle game and signal toy! I for one would have liked generative sound. I like the clean simple look and potential for nice puzzles. Also fun to just play around for a bit.
Very cool, you managed to put a lot of things into this mini RTS game. Very impressive for a compo entry! I was a tiny bit confused how things worked once you get to the village, farming, what goal to build towards, meaning of the signal/light/dark stuff. Nice graphics, and again, very impressive!
Nice concept, and kind of satisfying to explore new stations. I wasn't really clear on how the enemies detect you or how to avoid them. Will check out a potential post-jam version, I think the idea has some potential!
Very cool, this concept reminds me of Contact (and other stories). I like how the puzzles are very close to actual signal decoding, I can't remember that I ever saw that in a game before.
Cool entry! The limited vision/movement is working well. I personally was glad that the traumas were not as scary as the audio. Good atmosphere!
