Love the Concept and the Mood :)
I just keep dying halfway through the first fight :cold_sweat:
I think dashing in the intended direction is really hard, because you dash towards the character forward/velocity and not the input direction. I'm kind of hooked though :D Gonna keep trying
The voice acting  A strong contender for the humor category I bet!
For me getting in range and clicking on enemies at the same time is kind of hard and that made it difficulty to reliably hit enemies. Love the art style though! :D
I played the game earlyer today and just came back to say it stuck in my mind as uniquely nice, lighthearted and friendly. Just all around good vibes :rabbit: :carrot: Thanks for making it!
I think you only provided a link to the source code, but not a packaged game. Sorry if I'm missing something.
Initially I didn't understand, when I had equipped a weapon. Then I had plenty of time to farm poo and get all the weapons, but it took me a while to find the goblins :D Maybe they could pursue the player more aggressively? Overall it was very enjoyable and I ended up playing for quite a while! Very pleasant music :)
So wholesome and cozy! Thank you for making this  I kept spamming spacebar a lot while running through all the ghosts, because I wouldnt know who wanted what item. Maybe some permanent change in appearance of the ghosts would help with that. Maybe only after talking to them though, because taking the time to figure out what they need fits the story very well :D
The way the eyes of the witch move :D Love it
@ravarion Cheers! We are aware the game is pretty hardware hungry. We had to sacrifice performance to get it done at all. I tried to add an fps limiter in the settings, but couln't get it to work' so i locked it at 60fps. Thanks for trying though! :)
There is some really fun gameplay in here in fighting about territory, winning back some height by using the upgrades efficiently etc. I had a hard time undestanding when i could jump though and since the upgrades are temporary i couldn't really gain any momentum against the corruption and mostly acted like a goalkeeper on the lower floors. Highscore 4685. Please everyone else post your scores! :D I want to know If i was any good.
You are a genius and a scholar. I wish I had that Idea :D
those Trucks look super good! Took me a few tries to figure the right-click-mechanic out. I kind of expected the crane to appear while pressing RMB right away. After i figured it out it worked fine though :)
The suspense really kicked in when the music got more epic and i realized i shouldn't have started building the rocket so early. Failed on my first attempt but made it on the second one :D Easy to understand, suspenseful and thematically very fitting! Also 5/5 for the rocket sound.
Love it! The feeling of speed is awesome! Why don't more car's have holes in the ground to stick your feet through?! Super fun! Raah!
super nice!
Slap some 8 bit tunes on there and it's a party :D limiting the attackspeed or some sort of auto-fire would be very pleasant, but frantically clicking was very engaging as well :) very well done!
The way the stamina only regenerates when standing and the relative speeds of player and monster are tuned super well!
Thank you for sharing :)
Really love the graphics and choice of music! super nice mood. I'd love to see the advantages/disadvantages make a bigger difference. And a way to gain an extra life or something else to keep the run going would be nice. Other than that very nicely done :)
Dayum, an Unreal game under 200mb :D
@jerem-watts Thank you for these kind words. It made me think and appreciate LD way more. I think it's easy to focus on the ratings too much and get demotivated if they aren't that great, or if the game isn't some miraculous new invention, but really we should all be proud for making any game at all.
From the moment i possessed the character the screen started flickering and I couldn't move. The walking animation still played though. Judging from the story it must be my fault I guess :D Really interesting concept!
Super polished looking graphics! I like the socks :D (Highscore 2700)
Very atmospheric! I really appreciate that you drew everything yourself. That added a lot of character to the game.
I think a different gamemode that doesnt make you race against time would fit the whole vacation theme. THe whole thing looks super nice though! Maybe you could find ways to incentivize exploration more via gameplay, because you environments look super nice! Would have loved to enter the house.
You kinda know it's gona be a good time if you can go "brrrrr" in the first 5 seconds. Most fun I've had this jam!
I'd love to see it developed further! Simple mechanics, moody graphics. Love how the monsters tentacles reach for you even after you already passed them.
Imagine you die, become a ghost, see a light at the end of the tunnel, beautiful music swells and then some idiot like me misses half the notes and your holy ascention is canceled. Gotta come back to learn the song, well done!
Shouldn't it be called Mushroom caller? :D The skeletons look really cool!
smooooth. really pleasant to play
I got Ritz Richie. He wants caviar for breakfast. Nice and short, very enjoyable!
The wave after the glitchy queen thing didnt start for me. I couldn't read the stuff about the queen fast enough. I guess I missed something. It was a lot of fun until that point though! Feels kinda like startcraft or something where you need to micro your units while also building stuff :D Even with multiple people it's super impressive that you did this in 3 days!
With the game itself i had some troubles. I couldn't see the top and bottom of the screen, because my screen is too wide i guess and i couldn't switch to windowed mode. The sound settings didnt do anything for me. The camera movement felt kinda dizzying. At some point i couldn't jump, but then sometimes i somehow jumped super high. Maybe that's some kind of stamina mechanic and i just couldnt see the stamina bar :D ?
What really impressed me though was the art of the intro! Maybe you could incorporate that kinf of art in the game itself more. That would be awesome!
too real.
My Summons somehow didnt kill anyone, but this has a lot of potential! Reminds me of playing gta san andreas as a kid and putting in cheats. The monsters look really cool as well!
Super inventive! Love the snail as a way to to teach the rotation.
The character images didn't load for me. That made the beginning really confusing.
On the ld-page i get this error after the godot logo shows up: "Failed to read the 'serviceWorker' property from 'Navigator': Service worker is disabled because the context is sandboxed and lacks the 'allow-same-origin' flag."
The mirror web version works though!
"Hot single motherboards in your area" :D Dayum, i bet they are... insufficiently cooled. 🥸
I can't seem to get very far. An indication of how much health I have and a way to regenerate some would be nice. I think the "main menu" button from the pause menu doesn't work in the browser. So I can't restart the game.
@jerem-watts That means a lot to me.
Looks and plays very well! I might even come back later to play some more. Got 344 points, but I can definitely do better 🥸
That moment when you quit the game and you look up for the first time is really cool! I did a real-life pogchamp face. Overall really cool look and feel!
Thanks for including tetris, so stupid people like myself can at least understand one thing about the game :D
