Probably the best game I've tested so far! Graphics are great, sound is fitting, 100% hit the topic, a little narrative that gives a nice touch and it just works flawlessly. I especially like that you implemented the change for the center of gravity. 10/10
@furry-fire you're not alone. I thought so too for the first minute :D
Great game! Sounds feel a bit loud but other than that it's really well done and fun. Super smooth as well. Nice job.
@kyboon it is indeed hard by design. We did some playtesting with friends. Most of them managed to reach level 4 after a few attempts. The last one is also meant to be much harder than the others, but it is doable.
@holdmeimscared happy to hear that :D
@nivbeth Hidden Achievement unlocked: Obstacles? No. Opportunities!
Great game! I just wished the music would loop instead of restarting with every retry/new level. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.
Interesting concept. I think the whale gets sick a bit too quick. But other than that I enjoyed what I played there!
Great idea. Love the color palette you chose. The camera is a bit janky and glitching through walls which makes it a tad hard to play sometimes. But other than that I enjoyed it. Funny texts as well!
That was really enjoyable. Very simple, yet difficult enough to not just breeze through. Nice work!
What a great concept! I liked the texts for the different types of people. The graphics were nicely done and the gameplay was really smooth and simple. I'd like to know what the highest achievable rating is. Mine was a 2.78 I think. The only thing that bothered me was the music. The 5 second loop felt very repetitive after a minute.
I love the character model. It's nicely rigged and animated. Great idea overall. A simple jump and run. Could've been a bit more difficult to fit the theme more and maybe 2 or 3 more levels that get more and more difficult.
Nice animations and good idea. I wish there was an indicator on how much health you have left. I also felt like the ship wasn't using any fuel in the first minute or so. But overall a nice, simple game.
Enjoyed that one, even though I've gotten a bit angry in level 4 (or 5?) :D The idea of the sound is nice and new, although it didn't always fully work. It sounded like left but it was right above or underneath me. But besides that, it's a really great concept and well done!
Nice idea. I really like the whole concept of it, the die turning into a sphere. It's really something new. Sadly I'm not the type of player for this kind of game since I lose my patience too quick, but overall this is a really nicely piece of software.
Took me quite a few attempts to figure out what to do or to look for. Would also be nice if the voice line at the beginning didn't play on every single restart. Game fits the theme though, so nicely done.
60% of 60% - failed. You owe me a train cart, Julie :[ Nice game tho. I love the little beep boop background noises and it's a fresh take on Tetris. The models are really cute and high quality. You could really feel that there were a lot of people involved and everyone had their specific role. Well done.
Nice idea and the space was truely limited thanks to the funny looking sharks (or seals dressed as sharks?). The graphics could've been a bit cleaner, especially the weird blurriness around the character when moving. The music was pretty chill.
The graphics are really really nice and give the game a great vibe. The concept is also well thought through. It fits the theme. I lost both attempts by just 50 points, but it was still a nice experience!
I'm with the other testers. 4GB is a bit too much, especially for such a small and simple game. I liked the idea of it, but would've prefered if the items also spawned randomly inside the room and not just the edges, which makes it way too easy. But you kinda managed to make the theme work.
@wbertrand you're not wrong. I think the issue was, that we managed to finish the levels quite easily at the end (or at least one of us  ) and our playtesting with friends only started close to the deadline. There we saw how many issues they were having, especially with the planks. But it's not impossible! And I always aim to make it a bit harder and make ppl suffer :]
@teme @nonigirl thx! Yeah, at least we got the theme right :D
@tommo120 that actually got fixed, but outside of the deadline. But if you want to try it again, just look for it on itch.io. There's a "Need for Space (updated)" that should feel a bit nicer :)
Now that was unexpected fun! I liked the little backstory and the handdrawn graphics. Maybe I missed it in the tutorial but to me it wasn't clear at first what I need the castles for. Still won on my first attempt, so I guess I did something right. Good game!
Great idea. Gave me a good chuckle when the pop up in the bottom right appeared. But at the same time, it took away some screen space. Unless that was intentional because of the theme. The shots could fly a bit faster, but other than that, I had fun.
Interesting concept. Simple artstyle that fits the game though. Music/sounds are really nice. Keep updating it outside of LD and you'll get a nice and simple game!
Great use of the theme. Pretty new and innovative. Didn't finish the game, but it was a nice experience. I had some issues with finding things I dropped, so I couldn't progress much further. Some would call it a skill issue :]
Score 52 or so. Nice idea and great use of the theme. Could've used some chill background music and getting stuck on the stones was a bit annoying. But overall, you hit the theme-nail on the head. Nicely done.
Not sure if I was a bit too smooth-brained, but I couldn't figure out the candle puzzle and I was able to finish the game without actually doing anything, because there's a prompt popping up near the boxes to just open the door. The music also just randomly stopped playing.
Neat idea for a bullet hell genre. UI and that huge grass texture could've used some love, but you probably know that :D Either way, I learned a lesson today: bigger cubes = better!
Great idea. The audio really fit the artstyle. Camera movement could've been a bit faster or maybe the option to select all demons at once (unless I missed it). But it was a nice, short experience.
Excellent idea with the different types of summonings! The SFX were simple but funny. "blublabla" indeed. Liked the oldschool visuals as well.
good experience. Wish there was at least one more type of enemy. But I enjoyed that short ride.
A bit too challenging for my liking. Would've been nice if you don't "die" but get negative points or so instead, so you can at least continue if you suck. But besides my missing skill, it was a great game. Nicely done. Good visuals!
Nice idea. Felt a bit easy once you could just spam robots, but it sure was a unique game. Nicely done!
@floweryandy if you saw a frog, you did. We didn't have time to implement a bossfight, so this is the "ending" now :D
@vinzbad those animation exist, but they didn't make it into the final build in time :( Thanks for your feedback. Our audio people will be happy!
Nice visuals and great idea for the theme! Struggled a bit with the fire(?) at first but quickly got the hang of it. Not sure if it's a bug, but I kept winning after only cleaning one single lamp or just after the first two on that table behind the curtain. Besides that, great concept.
What a great game! My stupidity went through the roof on the last two levels, but that's a me-problem. Great great artstyle, audio and execution of the topic.
Nice game. Too difficult for me personally, so I didn't finish it. But everything about it was really well done.
Great execution of the topic. Got a bit lost at the start because I couldn't find that crowbar. Good atmosphere as well. As someone else said, the scaling of the objects was a bit off :D
@amooseinaroom oh interesting. I easily reach my 120fps with my mediocre hardware basically idling. Didn't think it would be too bad.
@mechazawa that means a wasp ended up being stuck somewhere. Maybe inside a building or so. I had the same issue at some point until I found out. They can also spawn inside buildings if you build too far to the borders. We really haven't had much time to test things :')
As a puzzle game, it did a great job. The camera could've been a bit further back since the levels were quite big. Just for the sake of visibility. Also the music was a bit too repetitive and became rather annoying after a minute. Other than that, the game itself worked really good.
Fun idea but very confusing in the beginning. Adding the option to use the numpad/number keys would've been nice. Music became a bit monotone after a while but I liked that it got faster and faster the lower the timer got. Graphics were very simple but fitting for this sort of game.
Signal theme was totally met. The visuals or rather the particle system you used was a great visual touch. Maybe it's personal preference but inverting Q and E would've felt more natural to me. Maybe failing when hitting a wall too hard could've been implemented.
Nice idea and concept. Felt like it needed to be a bit too pixel perfect to finish some levels, i.e. the black holes could've been a bit bigger for my personal liking. Really liked the spaceship UI idea.
You managed to fulfil the theme completely by 100%. Awesome job. The different frequencies, songs and random words appearing while shuffling through the radio were a great touch. Visuals could've used a bit more love and a skip button would've been nice but that's the only criticism I have. All that is left to say is ZEBRASTREIFEN.
Visuals are amazing, even though the car doesn't fully fit the rest of the game imho. The theme was 100% met. Also the whole concept was nicely executed and unique. I personally found the controls a bit frustrating. Just pushing the car was faster than actually driving it. Also I have no idea how I won my races, because the AI was always at least half a lap in front of me. Oh and talking about pushing the car, the physics were a bit janky at times with the car flinging through the air.
Probably the best one I played yet. Simple but very cool style, matched the theme perfectly and the difficulty was just about right for a small game jam title.
That was fun! Fits the theme. If I had to complain about something it would be, that the music was super loud and that it wasn't really clear that I had to scroll down in the menu bar on the left to find the newly unlocked tools.
I'm note quite sure how it corresponds to the Signal theme. But the game itself was entertaining, even though the tutorial was a bit too much text for me personally and I forgot half of it once I started playing. Also some funny texts which is a plus.
The idea is nice on paper but I never really felt like the beep is leading me towards the final room. Some sort of higher or lower frequency depending on your distance would make sense. Also the levels felt a bit big. I think I kept running in circles for a few minutes without any Trauma spawning in. My biggest issue was the camera that was lagging behind quite a bit. It just felt weird.
