I really like the low-poly models. Movement was fine, I felt like I could stealth through early situations. Combat felt bit clunky, I would've assumed at least the one hit kill when head shooting unaware enemies. But instead it felt like the enemies were shooting faster than me and doing a better job at it. I think I know what the music was aiming for but I would prefer a more intense, atmospheric track for this kind of game.
I got stuck at the second gate, finding no lockpick or key.
Performance wise it was okayish. I was dropping frames at assumed last cart since it was pretty packed. I don't know if Unreal provides the performance settings out of the gate. But I'm fairly certain my PC shouldn't have such a hard time considering how small the game is. I was playing with high settings.
Good job overall!

Interesting Game.I like the part where the guards are thrown on the track.
Ambitious entry! I loved the art style, definitely hit some nostalgia for me. Unfortunately, since I wasn't able to change the mouse sensitivity, I had a difficult time aiming (I play on incomprehensibly low DPI and sens because I am a crazy person) but I generally got the feel for it and was able to power through. I like the idea of losing inventory space when you get shot, interesting take on the theme!
I really like the idea of your inventory space being your health bar. The feel of the movement was pretty frustrating. It felt sticky (ie I didn't seem to move right away when I pressed w. Maybe this was lag? But it seemed to be running fine) and also stiff (Like I stopped too abruptly and didn't end up quite where I wanted to). I never figured out how to attack with the fists. I liked that the numbers for weapon selection was smart. I liked being able to pick up bodies. I liked I got a one hit knife kill one whole time. Falling off the train was a little too easy to do and with everything else I got a bit frustrated. The effects on the mission info screen were pretty hilarious. Thanks for the game!
@jason-shapiro i believe this was caused by lag, it might be worth trying to put the game on low settings. Thank you for the feedback!

Really ambitious game. Impressed this was made in a weekend! Gave me some real nostalgia which was great. Loved the implementation of the theme and the art was great. The game felt a bit sluggish for me as the sensitivity was a bit off and the game did not really ran smooth for me.
But still it was a good time! Congrats

Linking inventory and life in this way is really an interesting idea. the game is really cool, I had a good time with it. +1 for the solid metal gear vibe at the beginning.

Great use of the theme. Pretty new and innovative. Didn't finish the game, but it was a nice experience. I had some issues with finding things I dropped, so I couldn't progress much further. Some would call it a skill issue :]
Fun portret on the start)

Super solid game! Had a lot of fun playing it. I thought the inventory-health system was a super interesting take on the theme, and had an overall very fun time giving the game a shot. I thought some of the enemy placement was a bit goofy (guy waiting in the corner in the second car), but it didn't take away from my experience. Sudden death was also a cool mechanic.
Thank you @maxededo you are awesome
This is such a cool game idea! I had a lot of fun playing around with it and trying out the differences between stealthing and speedrunning through. Awaiting my next assignment from Dunn Mitch

I really like the idea, and the visual part! It's need some optimization , and some better animations i think, and it's a great lowpoly game! *the picture of the agent in the beggining it's funny)
Cool idea. The graphics felt a bit thrown together, but thats okay for a jam. I used the linux build (thanks for providing that), it seems to by default have high graphics settings which cause the menu frame rate to drop extremly on my 1050ti. Had to use low settings for proper FPS. Combat was a bit slow, the enemies seemed to shoot and aim better and faster than me. On the other hand, sometimes they would just walk past me all the time without noticing. I got eventually stuck at the second door without finding a lockpick (nor having enough inventory space to pick it up as i had to lose all health to finally be able to punch the enemies.
@laserpanzerwal Thank you! We're working on fixing some of the performance issues and will be releasing an update soon. As for the second door, try checking the trailer for a hint :)
Nice!
This was pretty fun! I enjoyed learning the level layout and running through faster and faster after each death. Punching actually incredibly good. I got through the last bit by running up to people and waiting for them to shoot me enough that I could punch them, so that was a bit odd.
Thanks @bmacintosh ! We've also found that once you've played through it once or twice it is pretty fun to try and get through the level as fast as you can. We are considering adding a timer mechanic for that in the future so players can try to beat their own times.

Very nice retro stealth vibe! The design of the fonts and the classic style briefing at the beginning gives a great impact to the atmosphere. It's pretty hard, but I like it.
A very cool interpretation of the theme. The stealth aspect is fun, but the combat feels somewhat clunky.

I didn't find the key. I didn't figure out how to use my Fist for the last stand. Nice game anymay. Good music. Good mood and sneaking gameplay vibes.

Cool retro fpsing! The intro had me smiling! The fighting itself was a bit tricky, not quite registering when I could stab from the back or not. Got stuck on the door with the lock as well.
The models' polygon style was also nicely retro - neat job.

Really cool idea! Played a bunch of these backpack packing games recently and this is an qunique spin on it. I also love the fact that you can throw bodies out of the window of a moving train
a very interesting and funny game, I like the idea like metal gear with halflife sounds very funny if you think about it that way, but even with such a fun idea, it received intense gameplay and interesting mechanics

Always love seeing a stealth game and the idea of reducing the inventory space with each hit is great! Level design-wise I thought it can be a bit difficult, as it is hard to anticipate where some of the guards might be and some guard placement is really cheap. It's also a bit difficult to sneak up on a guard and to pull off a one hit kill. The collision or distance check for that might be a bit too tight.
Really innovative: combining health with inventory space! The vision of the enemies is a bit narrow, but fortunately that is to the player's advantage :) I like the moving train setting, well done!

Cool game!
Great jam entry! Very cool idea with health bar inventory. Fun gameplay, good graphics and music. I definitely will try to complete mission.
What an amazing game!
I really enjoyed it!
Reached the end as well!
I had no idea what the ammo available to be found was going to be so I tried to do everything with the knife to start with, but it took me forever to understand you can only oneshot with the knife when you're sneaky!
Using parts of your inventory as your lifebar is really clever
I'd say the menuing and intro can be improved,
But beyond that, the gameplay experience is really great
I love the graphics and level also
Amazing job, looking forward to playing your next game :grinning: :sparkles:
