LD44 — Your life is currency

H2GO Tayne's Adventure by homeworld 2019-04-30T15:52:00Z

Can't really see the theme, but this is a great game. Seems very polished and the controls are quite smooth.

Snots Quest by Lodugh 2019-04-30T16:45:54Z

I really like the graphics and the idea with trading cells. But unfortunately the dhop didn't work for me. I got enough cells but couldn't spend them on Upgrades, maybe fix this while Rating is open, so that every aspect of the game can be rated. Nice work tho!

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Too Hot to Handle by TheMoonrise 2020-10-06T12:19:39Z

Thank you guys for playing so far! I'm glad you enjoyed it. @jonah Thanks for pointing that out. We're now aware of a bug triggered by the Decontaminator and we're looking into it.

Rock 'N Load by KeyurRana 2020-10-06T18:04:04Z

Liked the game. I think the difficulty was quite right. I couldn't get the rythm part, i was just holding the shoot button, but the sounds are great. I think it would be a huge improvement if you would add some step-sounds so it's not that quiet when moving trough the desert. But anyway, nice game.

Eat your cereals by Harksa 2020-10-06T19:16:53Z

Small but really funny. Liked the switch in tone.

Cursed Temple by Neragoth 2020-10-06T13:32:29Z

Quite nice game! I really liked the player animations and the little details with the bird flying away. Makes the game feeling much more alive. And the rainsounds were quite relaxing. Unfortunately the level after the one where you jump down some steps above the abyss didn't load. The screen was just black, but I heard the gamesounds and input sounds. Don't know what happened there.

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Dino Digger by dankar 2021-04-27T07:00:58Z

Liked it. The concept is very cool and it fits the theme quite well. I think the logistical challenge of moving dirt out of the way would also work on a larger scale. But I know it's a jam and all that. :D Great work!

Treehouse Party by stuffedgravy 2021-04-26T20:48:12Z

The turn in mood was surprising and quite cool. Although the jump mechanics were a bit frustrating for me. :D

Feelings Not Yet by crazyrems 2021-04-27T10:42:57Z

It's a nice little piece. The hand-drawn assets are super cute and support the look and feel quite much. The take on that story and topic is quite interesting too, it's a pity that it is that short. I came here from your post about time tracking and since you focus on the story and mood, maybe give that a bit more time in development. I know it's hard to plan that. But maybe as an example: The fighting mechanic wasn't that necessary, but I guess it used a lot of time to develop. Instead, some interaction by clicking on an item or something like that would be totally fine. But apart from that, I really liked your game. :)

Fallen Shovel by silkworm_sweatshop 2021-04-27T16:05:18Z

One of best games so far. Really cool visuals and music. They are simple enough to be made in a compo and yet so polished that it feels like a whole team would have worked on that for a year. You must be a master of dividing your time :D Only complaint: more levels. This was way too much fun to stop. Thanks!

Fallen Shovel by silkworm_sweatshop 2021-05-01T20:02:01Z

@silkworm-sweatshop wishlisted! ;)

AeroCat by W0oly 2021-04-27T16:45:12Z

This cat... it's so pretty drawn and so cute animated <3

I AM ROOT by Tamino Laub 2021-04-26T21:01:58Z

Very cool idea. It was a bit hard to fulfill the needs if there wasn't any water close by, but maybe I'm just not good at it. The hitbox of some stones seemed a bit off, but overall i liked the controls.

Deep Roots by myrmyxo 2021-04-27T12:47:29Z

Amazing tune in the background there, it was so chill. The Puzzels are harb, but on spot. I really liked this game. If I had to have to give some advise, I would say that the levels could be a bit more diverse, like day/night graphics or more diverse textures. But overall a really nice entry. :)

Will and Testament by johanhelsing 2021-04-27T20:18:52Z

That's what I imagine by digging dirt. Combined with nice sounds, minimalistic visuals and a funny but clever story is a very good mix. Liked it! Thank you, Sir!

20.000 LIGHT YEARS deep in THE SKY by Arivenzys 2021-04-27T19:02:58Z

It's such a great idea. And the voiceover...loved it :D The ideas for the planets are so creative and different, it is truly a piece of art.

Deeper and Deeper- A drop's journey by Tankou 2021-04-26T20:05:11Z

The raindrop, bugs and graphics overall were super cute. ^-^ The concept is simple, but it works. I think it would be cool, if the controls of the raindrop were a bit smoother (played on PC) or if I was able to dodge up and down as well. Had fun playing it. :)

Swing Shroom by Quite Good 2021-04-27T17:37:40Z

The graphics and sound were decent. I liked the world and the characters, the dark world and atmosphere were super nice. Good job! Maybe some checkpoints were helpful. It's a bit frustrating to start completely again when dying.

SUBERDEEP by sendnoose 2021-04-27T07:36:46Z

This is a cool atmospheric game! The graphics and especially the effects are decent and the game itself seems very polished. The only thing frustrating for me was the double attack of one kind of fish. When it gets dark (a nice change in mood btw) it's really hard to dodge them, because the second attack didn't have the exclamation mark on it. Maybe a bit less fish on the deeper levels would be nice. Apart from this, you guys did a great job!

l'Abysse by JyriO 2021-04-27T15:18:02Z

I really enjoyed this! As others said atmosphere and mood were on spot. Really liked the Characters, who became so human even with these super short interactions. The outside part could have been a little more diverse, but that's just taste. Great entry! :)

Deep into the vibe by Ariorick 2021-04-27T15:41:59Z

Very cool game! The score is a real blast. The visuals get a little trippy after a while, but I think that's part of the experience. :) Was very fun to play, thanks!

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Morning Rush by bitrunnr 2022-04-05T20:26:30Z

I liked the art style, especially the big sprites while interacting with the coffee machine. :)

LD55 — Summoning

Jimmy's Wish by ekkiiiii 2024-04-15T21:11:00Z

I especially liked the graphics. I haven't seen this style yet and would not have thought of it myself. The minigames are fun and i think the time you got for them is exactly right, not too easy, not too hard. If I could wish for one thing, it would be to get a look at what we summoned at the end, especially with this art style. Thanks for creating this game! :)

Summoning for Hungry Wizards by TheMoonrise 2024-04-19T18:10:22Z

Hey guys, thanks for all the appreciation of the cute ingredients. And the nice feedback in general.

Since not everyone seems to get to enjoy the delicious pineapple pizza at the end, I've put together an overview of the rules and some tips for the solution (SPOILER alert) → https://pastebin.com/jB1AvrvV

If you want to get something more visual, just take a look at the screenshots on this ld-page and in the comments.

Summoning Sun by Kamuniaft 2024-04-16T08:17:13Z

What a great idea on the theme. And I liked the self explanatory part of the movement and the eyes. the mood was great too. I especially liked the shadows, and how they were kind of important for the movement too. If I could wish for one thing, it would be either the shadows to be more lively (due to the flickering fire and the movement of the dancers) or for a more surrounding background sound, I think that would boost the immersion even further.

Demonic Dominion by LaserPanzerWal 2024-04-15T21:49:44Z

Nice take on the theme and the dungeon crawl genre. I liked that you can control your summons with the cursor, took a while to find out (maybe you can update the itch description) but then it felt pretty good, lurking behind a corner while my rats teared that poor archer apart. :D If I could wish for one thing, it would be that the summons would be transported into the next level or at least you get some of the mana refunded when entering the next level.

Summoning Circles, Á La Carte by Matt Blake 2024-04-18T17:29:02Z

I like that the recipes aren't just lists of ingredients but tiny riddles. Trashy is definitely my favorite, such a good boy! :D

Drunk Dork on Pitchfork by bigbossman 2024-04-18T16:58:02Z

I like the character sprites. The animations and levels look nice and polished. I could wish for one thing it would be that the damage would be a little lower, that you have more time to navigate out of the damaging zones. But I had fun. :)

Summon Cats by tinyfinn 2024-04-15T20:48:37Z

I love the art. It feels so cozy! I wish I could make the ultimate dish, so that every cat is summoned at the same time. :)

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

The Fast Dating by jk5000 2018-04-24T00:50:33Z

Got a Date Score of 569, can you beat this? :P I loved that voice acting very much!

Space Drifter TD by Skosnowich 2018-04-25T19:25:16Z

Cool game! Liked the graphic style, liked the music, liked the setting. Maybe a few things to improve: Before i could reach the first tower, two of the nodes already were destroyed. Maybe a little delay or different starting point would be helpful. The second thing was, that i think it would be nice to get a little bit of refill energy by every checkpoint and to speed up the refill time. For me it was impossible to give energy to every tower and it took very long to transfer the energy. But besides that, it was a great experience, its just always the balancing things. :D

The Farm by GertJohnny 2018-04-24T12:57:37Z

I'm impressed of the number of different features and possibilities to interact with. Finding out, that I can pick up rocks, and throw them on enemies, blowed my mind. I also liked the art style and animations. Cool game, unfortunately didn't manage to beat it. :(

Kinbaku by vkmicro 2018-04-24T12:35:46Z

Definetly much fun to play, I liked the concept of finding the right ropes and the difference between enemies and threats. Just the helicopter boss disappeared after I reached it and fell down a long part of the level, but survived. After reaching its original spawn point, he was gone.

Highway Trouble by Code Dream 2018-04-24T13:35:01Z

Fun to play, the motion of slow and fast cars, as well as the AI switching lanes lead to a few very funny bugs. I liked the concept of minigames while driving, but was a bit easy. What I most loved about it, was the cool light effect of cars behind and passing, looked amazing.

Axe and Roses by Hippunk 2018-04-25T20:40:48Z

Such a cool game! I really liked the idea of a dating sim for barbarians. My expectations were definetly different from what i got, the mix between really funny jokes and preetty good storytelling have been amazing.

God does play cards! by kjeks 2018-04-24T12:16:31Z

Funny animations, loved the detail in the grass. The game is a bit easy to play, because of the high Mana income and the strong and cheap towers. A higher Price for new cards might be helpful.

Unojo temple by Korteh 2018-04-24T00:37:57Z

I really liked the colorful simplicity of the artstyle. Also fun to try out how the boss works. Would have been nice to get a bit more fancy end, after that hard fight. Was still much fun to play, keep up the good work!

Bug Free? by TheMoonrise 2018-04-25T21:26:38Z

Thanks for all the nice comments from you folks! Really apreciate that. It's also cool to get some ideas to improve the game Post LD, maybe we can manage to put them in the game, too. Keep up the good mood, and have fun playing and testing all these nice games. ^-^

RuneTowers by Tiberon 2018-04-25T21:20:46Z

First of all, I loved the game! It's quite a nice combination of the two genres. Although I'm the worst at match 3, I had a lot of fun to play, because it seems quite good balanced and the controls worked fine. The soundtrack was outstanding and, like @notpresident35 said, the art on the lower section was perfect. I was a bit confused of the tower placement at first, it might be easier to just select a turret and then place it by clicking on its preferred place, instead of dragging and dropping it, but you get used to it. If you are planning on improving the game post LD, then i would love to see equivalent nice graphics on the map-screen, like you have on the bottom. Amazing game, thanks for sharing! :)

LD59 — Signal

Pharos by Chaseplays 2026-05-06T18:51:02Z

Really polished entry! Sound effects were nice, graphics were on the spot (really liked the rain effect). And the gameplay was also quite cool while fitting the theme very well. :)

Probe Away by quadtree 2026-05-05T15:26:58Z

The idea of generating the heat map by sending probes is really cool (if that's what's happening :D). Only the amount of information I gain when sending my own probes could be a bit more. I mostly went for chasing the blue colors instead of really trying to trace a path. But overall a very cool concept, I haven't seen so far.

They Devour Signals by justking144 2026-05-06T18:20:40Z

Finding out where it's possible to expand by sending out a signal is an interesting concept. But the timer was quite frustrating to me. Overall a cool concept.

Cross Roadent by PoshDan 2026-05-05T16:37:34Z

Fun one! I like the core concept and it's fun to think about strategies that might stop the chaos, but ultimately they all fail :D.

Kessler Co by Grizwhirl 2026-05-05T16:20:32Z

I liked the sounds, the graphics and the mood. But I did not figure out a reliable strategy to place the satellites. Placing them in the center worked best but once one gets destroyed, it's over. :D

We Come In Pieces by NotALobster 2026-05-06T18:13:52Z

Neat pixel art, and I liked the antenna upgrade mechanic. Although I didn't quite get what the other junk was used for. Some feedback on the alien messages would be helpful, since I wasn't sure if I received something or not.

Synesthezoo by TheLastSlowpoke 2026-05-06T18:37:50Z

Was fun to fiddle around, quite a nice idea and twist on the theme. And I liked the fractals. :D It was quite hard for me to get the sound differences, so I used the pictures for most of the time.

МIИISTЯУ OF SIGИДL by 7uc4s 2026-05-06T19:05:54Z

Very very polished entry. I really liked the sounds, music, sprites and small graphic effects! It was also a cool feature, that you actually had to use the typewriter. One tiny thing: I could still control the buttons below the document, while dragging it around, which caused me to reset the whole thing more than once while typing. But overall a very cool game!

Meerkat Maniac by Mamboman 2026-05-05T15:54:23Z

Liked the sprites a lot. And the sounds are neat too! Was a fun quick play. Thanks!

Invisible by Quanthon 2026-05-05T16:06:01Z

Liked the graphics a lot! I didn't get how the ghosts work though. Just snuck my way through somehow, after a lot of failed tries.

Lonely Crossway by polyvishap 2026-05-05T15:40:04Z

Neat atmosphere and sounds. Also the eerie mood worked very well for me. But I didn't quite get what to do, I stopped on red and walked on green, but still got rolled over :D.
