great puzzle game!
The charming little characters made me persist far longer than I would have but in the end I was not able to make the pizza. It seemed like it was possible to make the base, pineapple, tomato, and cheese separately but any attempt to draw them at the same time yielded lemons :( Maybe I was missing something! Solid entry across the board though.
I really enjoyed trying to make the pizza, even if I couldn't make it. I like the design of the characters, and the concept of the game. I'll probably try again to make the pizza !
The idea of this game is genius, I gave full marks for all the options (although I didn't manage to make a pizza). It's just that I'm shocked that anyone likes pineapple pizza too lol
I'm so confused! This game is awesome and I love the aesthetic and the idea and and the graphics and the gameplay and the food characters. I just wish there was a bit more help with how summoning each of the ingredients works. I saw the helper pages but they weren't enough for me to figure it out
I'm little bit confuse to make the pizza , hiks ... But this is awesome!
Like it! I like to symbols, it's great that everything works for most of the simple shapes that first come to mind
Really nice game ! It's fun, you try to find all the elements to make the pizza. The graphics are cute too. Maybe once thing that could help will be to allow players to create elements using steps (the dough first, then topping for example). Overral it's a really nice game, well done :) !!
The drawing mechanic works very well and is fun to interact with. I liked the happy candles and ingredients, definetly made me try it out a bit longer. I also could not figure out how the process for the puzzle is supposed to work. I managed to get a combination like flour+water that should have worked from what I saw on the cheat sheet, but adding everything else in one attempt never worked out for me. I had fun, well done!
i broke my brain:) very nice puzzle game with cute and sweet artstyle
I love the game, it's a great idea, looks good and is well executed. I didn't manage to finish the pizza in the end unfortunately, probably because I never managed to summon the pinapple individually (always with a tomato).
nice idea, and really scary sounds ))
I did it!!!! The sounds are very well done, and I like how there is a victory song at the end. Love the happy characters all dancing and partying  Also, the help bubble feels well balanced, only appearing after a while and just giving cryptic hints

This took me a while, but I loved every second of it.
Thanks for all the nice comments :purple_heart:. @wouter52 I am honestly a bit relieved someone managed to beat it , well done :muscle_tone4:
Incredibly cute and well made game. Loved the mood with the music with dancing candles. Figuring things out was hard but entertaining. I think I was close, but ultimately ended up with lemons.
My favourite little piece of polish was the whisper chant playing during drawing. Very nicely done!
Wooow OK, the first game in this LD that I found properly challenging. And it's a good thing! It's a genius idea and brilliantly executed. The graphics are so cute and give a wholesome vibe, it's innovative, a fantastic interpretation of the theme, and it just feels polished and complete. Brilliant!
Awesome game, loved the premise and graphics! The dancing animation on the beat of the music is a great example of attention to detail!
I managed to individually summon all ingredients, and could combine those individual markings up until like 4, and then when I started adding more it always became a lemon. So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong there...
I didn't succeed but i would like to say that the graphics are really cool ! well done pizza summoner comrade haha!
Hey guys, thanks for all the appreciation of the cute ingredients. And the nice feedback in general.
Since not everyone seems to get to enjoy the delicious pineapple pizza at the end, I've put together an overview of the rules and some tips for the solution (SPOILER alert) → https://pastebin.com/jB1AvrvV
If you want to get something more visual, just take a look at the screenshots on this ld-page and in the comments.
Quite a challenging game, but I like it a lot. Loved the crisp scratching of the board, and getting a lemon is really satisfying too lol with that "lemonnn". I wish this game held my hand a bit though, maybe help me progress between at least some of the ingredients, etc, although I liked the idea of figuring out things myself -- it felt like I was a mad wizard actually trying to summon pizza by trial and error. Congrats on a really nice entry :)
I was able to get tomato, roller, cheese, pineapple, water, but was missing the rest. Oh and many many lemons ahaha, very cute game, love the sounds :) definitely got me in the mood of pineapple pizza, I do wonder if the challenge can be broken down a little by discovering the ingredients individually in a more guided way, I love trial and error but it was very open. Love it, pineapple pizza forever!
Very fun entry! It was definitely a challenging puzzle game but the challenge of figuring out the rules for each ingredient and how to combine them to get the final pizza was definitely very fun. The help pages were able to help a player figure out the exact rule but cryptic enough to still require the player to figure things out on their own. The drawing felt satisfying and the dancing characters were really charming.
The generic Italian music that played at the end once I got the pizza had me on the floor, the voice lines that played periodically as well were hilarious, it really gave the vibe of being a frustrated wizard who just wants some damn pizza.
All around a great entry and I just have to say congrats, you guys knocked it out of the park!
Really cute game and a nice idea! Understanding how to combine the different shapes was tricky, it was a bit confusing that a squishy circle could sometimes become water, sometimes a tomato and sometimes a rolling pin, so the tips for the solution was a nice addition! It would have been fun if clearer patterns emerged from the gameplay itself though! Still a really nice entry with a lot of well polished elements. I had a lot of fun!
Super cute, figured out how to make all of the single ingredients and how to get the dough rolled out but even with the guide you provided AND the screenshot of someone else's win, I just wasn't able to make a proper pizza. I think a little more explanation (in form of doodles you have to draw) about things like lines overlapping also having an effect etc. would have been helpful but it was also fun figuring things out on my own.
I'm looking forward to pizza night on Wednesday now though! XD
Loved it, even if I couldn't draw a pizza!
I thought this was a great concept for a game but personally I needed a bit more help to figure it out - I didn't win. I would have loved a bit more of a description in the game itself for how to play.
This was so hard I thought I was going to spend my whole night on it ! I love the art, nice submission had a really good time Untitled.png
It was very adictive entry! greaj job, cute dancing candles! I like the clues system. 2024-04-23 23_06_52-Summoning for Hungry Wizards by TheMoonrise, remusnomos — Mozilla Firefox.png
This was really well done! Great mood, graphics and audio and fun gameplay. I liked that it was very freeform and you just had to figure stuff out yourself, even if I didn't manage to summon the pizza in the end.
Great Evil Dead Necronomicon-style sound effects as well.
HECK YEAH PINEAPPLE PIZZA! Great idea! I got all but the laaaaast item. Just could not get them all together. But it was a fun time! The items were all cute! And I loved the "summoning a lemon" reference! Great job!
