LD38 — A Small World

KeyPuppers by AntaresValdemar 2017-05-01T06:30:07Z

I played a few rounds but couldn't figure out what pressing the keys did. Only the up arrow key to freeze the pups seemed to do anything. Otherwise, the graphics are nice and the background music was charming if a little repetitive. I like the keyboard premise.

Planetone by shillingburg 2017-05-01T06:02:38Z

Graphics and audio are fantastic. Spamming different plants and just seeing what it sounds like is a delight.

Tribal Tension (Twitch) by SaraJS 2017-05-02T00:27:55Z

Definitely the most fun I've had so far. Fantastic achievement.

Space Raiders by Smeax 2017-05-01T15:46:37Z

Awesome pixel art! I made it through the first night and I consider that an achievement.

A World In Her Eye by OrbitalBlueprint 2017-05-01T15:55:53Z

Really excellent entry. Lots of intrigue. The zoomed out shot of the planets with the ladder between is gorgeous. However, you really should include the version of the game that you submitted before the deadline for rating purposes!

Chuck and Bull by CheesyMoo 2017-05-03T05:20:58Z

Nice relaxing atmosphere. I'm not sure if I could do anything other than plant my seeds and watch them grow. Clean pixel art and great music!

Retro Rabbit by wtoa 2017-05-01T06:46:52Z

Awesome! The music is great, especially in munch mode. I also enjoyed the pacman-esque mechanics.

Quantum Catburetor by jushiip 2017-05-01T06:22:57Z

Really cool aesthetic. Love the flashing text and distortion. Also very cool method of representing health!

Kanjo by Kataware 2017-05-10T04:54:27Z

Really excellent audio; it's some of the best I have heard so far for compo. I especially liked the introductory sequence with the words slowly appearing with the music accompanying. The story and combat was a bit rushed like you say. But the polish on the non-interactive scenes is really impressive.

Too Big For This WorLD38 by joemid 2017-05-03T05:33:17Z

Almost 1GB?! That might be too big for this world.

Sunny World by Jungle 2017-05-03T05:50:44Z

Great premise! Simple and intuitive. Not many sound effects but the background music was fitting and well composed. Nice clean graphics and UI.

Cookie-World by Loktor 2017-05-02T00:01:39Z

Great sound effects!

SlapR by MewSoul 2017-05-10T04:35:17Z

A simple premise pulled off nicely. Nice art and great game feel for dat smack.

Planet Bash by killerkun 2017-05-02T00:12:18Z

Great art! The planet itself looks very cool. I got the hang of dodging missiles after a few plays. Dying the first few times was a little anticlimactic.

RoboLand by slovakyan 2017-05-09T04:51:11Z

There are some really great visual elements in there. I love the water and smackin' down those direction arrows feels amazing. Clearly you were running out of time and didn't get to build as many levels as you wanted, but I can see the potential for some interesting ones. Music and sound is top notch; the piano key sound for touching the menu options was especially nice.

The Epic Quest For The Mighty Croissant by 0x0 2017-05-02T00:36:21Z

Fantastic voxel art. The music became humorous after multiple run-throughs of the same worlds. I felt a little helpless in combat just mashing right click as fast as I could and hoping not to die. But movement had a really nice feel to it.

Spider Collider by mooncalf 2017-05-10T06:01:01Z

Excellent entry. One of the best I've played this LD and I'm proud to say I beat all the levels. It's a truly unique take on the theme and, unlike many entries, translates the theme into mechanics. The visuals are minimalist but there's enough there to have a distinct style. If there is a criticism I have it is that most of the levels can be beaten without moving or grappling. Overall though, top notch.

Pod2000 by nidup 2017-05-02T01:51:01Z

Excellent mood and audio. The uploading of photos and audio clips was really intriguing; it gave me just enough to be curious about the planet without giving away too much. The text adventure mechanics worked well, intuitive enough to understand and I never got stuck. Great entry!

Star Boi by ItsSaraficed 2017-05-03T05:29:51Z

I stayed in it for the dope upgrades which were fun to unlock. The waves/upgrades felt a little unbalanced; sometimes I was very unprepared for a wave and sometimes it was way too easy. Nice art, I love the sprite for the earth especially.

Carefulzilla by glimaleite 2017-05-05T04:13:36Z

Hilarious concept flawless executed. I knew exactly what I was in for when I saw the title. Great polish too!

Paper Jam! by danhett 2017-05-01T06:18:13Z

The paper aesthetic is quite convincing! Minus the lines that flow off of the page a little bit, any screenshot could pass as a photo of a piece of paper. Also really liked the pew-pew audio.

Mr-Vpn by tobia88 2017-05-05T04:08:32Z

Awesome concept! Maybe a stretching the theme a liiittle though. Mr. VPN had some nice pixel art and I liked his footstep dust particles. Good juice.

Savannah by TheMadStrauss 2017-05-01T19:56:05Z

Excellent audio and graphics. I was never able to escape from a predator though. A short in-game tutorial and a reset button could go a long way!

One Way Hero by aaronflippo 2017-05-03T05:58:15Z

I played as a "Yes" man and got far. The random encounters kept things interesting. Really nice animations though it would have been nice to see some of the equipment or status effects have a more visible effect. Great entry!

Let's Be Happy in Our Small World by Tuomo 2017-05-10T05:46:53Z

Great art, great animations, great polish. The experience is very smooth all the way through. Nice transitions! I was curious how the game was going to get more difficult but spotting and remembering minute differences did become challenging. The pacing could have been a bit faster.

LD46 — Keep it alive

souvenirs by SoarenDev 2020-04-20T17:28:41Z

It's simple, and I had issues getting the input to work, but it's very effective at creating an emotional impact! Great mood and excellent use of the theme.

Body and Soul by blabberf 2020-04-20T23:12:15Z

Wow, art and audio are top tier. Interesting premise. Exciting upgrade choices. Would reach the spring of life again.

DUNDER by nuclearfriend 2020-04-22T03:04:30Z

There's a lot to like about this one. But I especially appreciated how the start screen was also a tutorial, explained what the game was about, AND was a cool Rube Goldberg machine to kick things off.

Gooperworm by BloodpulpGames 2020-04-20T17:29:18Z

That polish. That style. Well done!

Sleep-Rolling Pangolin by Khyrgrim 2020-04-21T07:32:58Z

So many levels. But they are all so well designed. Many "aha" moments were had.

Bard: Keep the Story Alive by polyducks 2020-04-21T06:04:22Z

There's something really satisfying about the sound in this game. Music is great, art is great. Excellent work!

OTTS & GLASH by endesga 2020-04-21T05:39:08Z

The art: not only excellent but quite unique. The audio: soothing. I didn't even mind feeding myself to the worm. Great work!

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Shotgun King: the Final Checkmate by benjamin 2022-04-06T17:16:30Z

God damn. That was fucking cool

Shoal by Kerdelos 2022-04-21T02:50:35Z

Beautiful work. Gotta love how the fish make up the 'O' in Shoal.

LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Our first game, Hatty & Tom. by emeffe 2018-12-04T01:32:19Z

Short and sweet! I liked the voxel-style art and the use of lights. Visually, it reminded me of Bit.Trip Runner. Nice use of the theme. For those playing with a keyboard, I recommend having the controls up in another tab. By the way @pokang the "Interact" controls on the itch.io page are wrong! It says 'A' with a keyboard but it's really 'Q'. Took me a while to figure out. Otherwise, great entry!

Head Over Hooves: My Heart Bleats For You by Blarfnip 2018-12-04T03:41:28Z

I had a game breaking bug! It was in the field after I decided that wooing Goat was becoming enjoyable and I was falling in love. I enjoyed what I played up to that point. What a great concept.

Sacrificio Inc. by Reality Blind 2018-12-04T05:21:33Z

Top notch animations, art, and sound. The mouse controls didn't feel good, but that's my only complaint. Great work!

Chopping Block by speakertone 2018-12-04T05:10:47Z

That was a nice brain teaser! The challenge and length felt just right. The chopping interaction feels great. High scores in all categories.

Vegefrice by andremariano 2018-12-04T04:26:54Z

The art and animation is excellent! I really like the player character. The "Veegggiefriiice" intro is also amazing. Took me a while to figure out how to play, but got it eventually. Didn't feel like I had much of a hope of beating the timer though. Nice entry!

Prayer for the Dead by Reid Willis 2018-12-04T04:45:01Z

I think there is a severe bug! When I start the game it just loops the intro forever.

Blueberry Bounce by Ian Kettlewell 2018-12-03T05:30:35Z

I chuckled at "Tell no one". Great humour and mechanics. I felt satisfied by the ending.

Mary had some lamb to spare by 100th_Coin 2018-12-03T23:17:32Z

Great animations! The enemies were well designed with clear attack signalling and whatnot. I like that this is sort of like hardcore Pikmin. My only frustration was the throwing mechanic. I eventually figured out that you can only throw a lamb if it is quite close to you, but even then it is still frustrating to click and have nothing happen in the heat of battle. On another note, I enjoyed the variety of lambs you can buy.

Merciless gods by Raindrinker 2018-12-03T23:28:00Z

This is excellent! I figured out the mechanics after the first couple runs and after that point it was a very nice puzzle. The audio and pixel art are spot on and the interactions felt great. High scores in all categories.

Sacrifices Must Be Made by danman9914 2018-12-06T18:10:10Z

@alexkishchinskiy That's because you cut your eye out! But I've heard it isn't that clear :P

Sacrifices Must Be Made by danman9914 2018-12-07T18:03:17Z

@hellsquirrel I appreciate the diagram! I understand exactly what you're saying. My original thought was that I wanted to be very clear about why the damage is stacking up. I think your way is better when players already understand how the game works.

Blob Time by sketchycode 2018-12-05T04:36:50Z

end.png

The end?

Leggy by organicpencil 2018-12-04T04:40:47Z

Wow, that was surely something.

FTD : Fixin' to Die by nuclearfriend 2018-12-05T03:56:38Z

Excellent! I gave 5 stars across the board.

Triag'd by Elemental Zeal Game Studios 2018-12-05T03:13:05Z

The link to the game is here: https://elemental-zeal.itch.io/triagd

;)

Triag'd by Elemental Zeal Game Studios 2018-12-05T03:20:26Z

@elemental-zeal-game-studios No problem. Great entry! I had a lot of deaths.

upgrades at a price by Nicso 2018-12-14T18:19:19Z

Great mood! Very nice use of bloom to make certain elements like the traps visually pop. I also like the very smooth camera movement between rooms. My one frustration was the range of the attack; it was quite hard to hit an enemy even when it was right in my face. But overall, excellent!

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

SPÃ…RVAGN by Dustyroom 2020-10-25T01:03:48Z

Stunning! Excellent mood.

Looping Meadows by Kirbloid 2020-10-05T03:45:39Z

Cool concept! It was a bit of a grind but I beat it. The secret monster path was exciting and unexpected. I never spent my precious gems on upgrading the monster spaces. What would have happened if I did?

Too Many Circles by CookieNoir 2020-10-05T03:51:08Z

Very pleasant. I found the click and drag controls a little uncomfortable, but otherwise it was a smooth ride. The chained circles was a cool mechanic.

BLOOP by danman9914 2020-10-05T02:35:26Z

@alaah That is very flattering. Thank you so much! :)

BLOOP by danman9914 2020-10-05T02:36:39Z

@gevernus Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you mean. The download buttons? They have a platform icon beside them, but I might as well make that clearer by naming them with the platform. Hope that's what you meant!

BLOOP by danman9914 2020-10-05T16:17:15Z

@erkberg Good point regarding the controls! I made a note in the "Controls" section of the description to inform players that the keys can be remapped :)

DisasterWheel by TangoMango 2020-10-06T15:38:36Z

Fun use of the theme and hopping between chairs on the wheel was fun! I enjoyed get blasted up out of the wheel by an asteroid but somehow landing and surviving it.

Knights of the Holy Loop by RenD 2020-10-25T01:21:36Z

That was great. The Shaman is so OP! Really cool take on the theme. I wish there were meaningful choices to make in the map navigation but I understand the time constraint. Top marks across the board!

DEMON LOOP by dinosire 2020-10-05T03:15:04Z

Nice! Getting enough wands to do the mega-loop around the map was fun.

RingCastle by tomcooper 2020-10-06T03:37:01Z

Big points for mood!

Groovy Loops by Simpathey 2020-10-05T04:22:26Z

Groovy! The different music layers coming in with each block was a nice touch.

Aztec Ride by Idan Rooze 2020-10-07T21:22:15Z

Brilliant concept and great execution.

StackOverflow by Mark Kelly 2020-10-05T03:22:32Z

THIS GAME IS SADISTIC!

Spinnerets by Jeremy Ryan 2020-10-05T04:04:21Z

The music is outrageously catchy. Nice work. High scores all around!

Everything is Garbage by vfqd 2020-10-25T00:52:50Z

Top notch entry here! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Discovering the recipes for the various materials was fun and setting up the supply chains was satisfying. Loved turning babies into meat! My only gripe was that I wish powering the obelisk triggered some sort of ending. It left me unsure if I should continue afterwards. BIG stars across the board.

LD52 — Harvest

Hotline Harvest by Skvader_418 2023-01-19T02:54:05Z

You shouldn't have opted out of the humor category! When I shot the wheat with a pistol and it still counted as harvested I laughed out loud. Nice entry!

Acornville Escape Room by candlesan 2023-01-09T02:54:49Z

You delivered where it mattered! The puzzles were at the perfect difficulty for a jam game and each one had character and inventiveness. The bag toss knocking out the pumpkin teeth was a stand out. Great work!

Harvest Festival 64 by Warrrkus 2023-01-19T01:58:07Z

I wish I could give 100 stars for Mood - the sounds and animations triggered my N64 nostalgia hard. Lots of cool touches during the final segment. Great work!

Tiny FarmLand by Roalinn 2023-01-10T00:54:03Z

Top tier animation and art. Game feel was also excellent!

Grow Golf by torcado 2023-01-09T19:31:28Z

Brilliant concept superbly executed. It's an inspiration

LD55 — Summoning

Summoning for Hungry Wizards by TheMoonrise 2024-04-15T05:27:00Z

The charming little characters made me persist far longer than I would have but in the end I was not able to make the pizza. It seemed like it was possible to make the base, pineapple, tomato, and cheese separately but any attempt to draw them at the same time yielded lemons :( Maybe I was missing something! Solid entry across the board though.

LD28 — You Only Get One

VOXELTRONIC by mungoman1 2013-12-16T15:01:00

Cool retro vibe and great graphics. I found it extremely difficult to aim without a targeting reticle. Also the shooting noise is unbearably annoying.

Little Hero by Freel4tte 2013-12-21T00:43:00

Scored high in Theme but low on Graphics/Audio

Spacewalk by tompudding 2013-12-23T08:15:00

I wasn't able to grab the fire extinguisher. Just kept bouncing off of it

Nobag by Taldius 2013-12-18T16:54:00

Really nice dungeon crawler. I had a few issues with hitboxes and I was able to pick all 6 items (bug or intentional). However, I actually played this game for longer than any other game I have rated so far.

Conformance by lordjosephdeburg 2013-12-16T21:20:00

Cool graphics but not much to the game. There is a lot of waiting around and you can just shoot every single passerby. When the actual target came along it was so obvious that I thought it was a trick.

Zombiehirsch by hirsch 2013-12-16T16:44:00

Shooting roaches is VERY satisfying, I think the controls are actually fine. The only problem I have is the simplicity and lack of content

th3 r00m by SaintHeiser 2013-12-18T19:50:00

Excellent. I got stuck after getting the gun but that did not detract from the score

Gods of Baloo by timtipgames 2013-12-16T15:19:00

Great mood, nice graphics, soothing audio. Restarting from the first room after accidentally "sacrificing my friend" was a bit frustrating

Carnage by MrAmazingSocks 2013-12-16T20:58:00

Very little feedback for actions and ambiguous GUI (is the blue text a shield?). I also couldn't replay the game after I died without F5'ing. The music had a groove to it.

Shadow Night by ParaPup 2013-12-16T22:54:00

Really hard to explore the mansion with that black blob trying to give you a piggy back ride.

One Button Wonder by Arcantic 2013-12-22T05:56:00

I really liked the name entry with the single button. Good use of the theme

One man, one shot by lightsoda 2013-12-17T16:38:00

Cool graphics and a grooving soundtrack. Lack of checkpoints really cut down on the fun factor especially when spikes can kill you from a mile away

the Pit by MRvanderPants 2013-12-18T17:45:00

Your shooting mechanic is well polished and fun to play. I actually found the possibility of an enemy spawning right above you to be an interesting challenge as you have to seek out cover. It would have been nice if the levels were generated more smartly (always overhead cover areas, no ways to get trapped in a pit) but this definitely scores highly in the "fun" category.

TankoKitty by JohnnySix 2013-12-16T20:54:00

Great graphics and game feel. The music is BUMPIN'. Could use more content and has no connection to the theme.

alONE by Christopher Schulte 2013-12-17T00:23:00

Sweet mood. Could have used less iterations of the loop; I got bored before I got to any sort of ending

STAR BATTER by CTATZ 2013-12-16T05:33:00

It bugged out the first time I tried but upon refresh I was able to play. The controls are a bit frustrating, requiring you to continuously click on the asteroid and not just anywhere on the screen.

Cat Gentlemans Play: Insult Spinner 10 Cents by RobotLovesKitty 2013-12-16T05:24:00

Hilarious! Unfortunately it is unbalanced favoring player 1 in the slap match. It is also very difficult to get the shot off the first time. Overall: humorous and fun.

You Only Get One by Broxxar 2013-12-16T04:37:00

Sweet atmosphere. You nailed the Hotline Miami gameplay/feel

You Only Get 1UP by Thein 2013-12-16T05:03:00

Simple platformer with a twist pulled off well. Sound is good.

YOGO YOLO ARENA by acronaut 2013-12-16T20:37:00

I'm not sure what I just witnessed. The character walk cycle was humorous

Heart by arrogant.gamer 2013-12-16T15:05:00

I don't understand the complaints about Twitter; the game only asks to read your tweets and see who you follow, something anyone can do. The real problem is that I could not play the game at all. When I loaded the web version I just got a flickering screen :(

Crystalline by X-0r 2013-12-16T21:05:00

I'm just getting a black screen for the web version

Cuborg by skarab 2013-12-16T16:38:00

Not sure if it's the game or my machine but when I booted the .exe I got an unresponsive black screen actually had to restart my computer :( Just a warning to others.

DRAIN by NickZangus 2013-12-22T21:47:00

Clean graphics and audio. Draining the energy of the other spheres had great game feel.

Bowerbird Quest by mcapraro 2013-12-16T04:58:00

The art is simple yet very visually pleasing. I don't see how the theme applies here but the game mechanic is successfully executed.

Pick Up Sticks by Rikkter Games 2013-12-16T05:08:00

I couldn't get past the block that was supposed to "end the level". The jumping and moving need work for sure.

SPELLBREAKER by jdpalmer 2013-12-18T18:56:00

Very confusing with no in-game instructions given. I think there is a real game here but I could not figure it out. Very pretty graphics!

The Present by gingerBill 2013-12-16T15:21:00

Very simple but you achieved your goal. Clean looking graphics, jolly audio, but not very strongly tied to the theme.

Bounty hunting by vallde 2013-12-16T21:11:00

This feels very well polished/tested as demonstrated by little things like the line from objects to the planet and how you attract the bullet at a certain distance. The music is a little annoying but otherwise this is a strong entry!

Ps. Great feedback for destroying enemies

Unibrow by ViliX64 2013-12-16T23:14:00

This game is excellent at teaching the game mechanics, something you don't see often in game jam entries.

One Night at the Space Opera by davekalina 2013-12-16T22:43:00

Best graphics I have seen yet!

Others Have Many by MarioY19 2013-12-16T21:04:00

Dashing feels fun and there is good audio feedback. The controls are difficult to learn but rewarding when mastered

Graham Vs Lord Nebulon by Articulated 2013-12-16T23:00:00

All I have in the zip file is a .gmx file. Couldn't play

You Only Get One: TOWER DEFENSE by tklovert 2013-12-16T14:56:00

A little bit tedious but the basic tower defense mechanics were well implemented. I wish I had more granular control over tower placement

Only One: A Gentleman's Game by DrPrettyPatty 2013-12-16T05:11:00

Quite well made chap! The gameplay is extremely simple but the graphics and "gentlemanly" mood make up for it.

The One Ring by Mocuto 2013-12-16T20:29:00

This seems very derivative... Fight mechanic works well and the music is SWEET. Only loosely tied to the theme though

UNO by wimmi 2013-12-16T20:23:00

Interesting mechanic with very basic audio/graphics

Minute Dreams by piotrszoka 2013-12-16T23:27:00

If this is your first game ever you are some sort of prodigy.

Like a Ninja! by ColeSlawGames 2013-12-18T19:01:00

The timer is WAY too short to succeed at any of the attacks the first time. The result is retrying from the beginning every time and memorizing the pattern. A solution could be more specific hints or a longer timer. Still, this game has a charming ninja vibe and succeeding in an attack is satisfying.

One way out by lennaert 2013-12-18T19:28:00

The graphics are among the best in the jam but the moving and jumping felt very wonky. I died to a boulder and then floated around the map as a spirit. I saw a cool looking bear but I could not interact with it.

You Only Get 1! by Danman9914 2013-12-16T04:53:00

@TobiasW

Thanks! I did not realize that we couldn't use public domain music and sound until my friend told me after submission :( My fault for not reading the rules.

The art was done in Flash and yes, the animations were done in Unity.

@taocayo Yes I did!

No double jump :( by Wspon 2013-12-16T15:12:00

Simple platformer with a simple twist but well executed. You made programmer graphics go a long way with the visuals

The purge of Sombrilla by CatskullTeam 2013-12-18T17:37:00

Having no conrol over the angle/length of the jump coupled with the slow shoot animation led to frustration. However, the graphics and audio were quite nice.

Singular by nerial 2013-12-22T23:35:00

Interesting and fully realized puzzle game. 5/5 for fun.

The Radar Guy by pavelzuk 2013-12-24T23:40:00

Not much of a game but a good audio/visual experience

Super Botboy Puzzle FPS by apwolf 2013-12-18T17:17:00

It would have been impossible to figure out the puzzles without your tutorial but this game definitely has some charm. It lacks polish but there is potential. Using the electric cube to kill the robots was satisfying.

Excellent graphics/audio/mood!

Fighter-01 by Thalikoth 2013-12-22T19:26:00

The premise is innovative and an awesome use of the theme but it was not executed well. Perhaps a visible queue of upcoming moves would help? Also removing useless combinations like Up + Down

The Coolest Kids on the Block by vrld 2013-12-16T15:33:00

Cool 90's vibe. Making all the minigames skippable takes away the feeling of accomplishment that you gain when completing them. The ending was abrupt. The somersault game was fun and oh so satisfying to land

One Button Metroidvania by mokesmoe 2013-12-16T05:17:00

Interesting concept. The difficulty ramps up way too fast and becomes a bit frustrating. But I'm sure if I was more skilled I could have enjoyed it more!

One Life Only by Gear 2013-12-16T16:28:00

Nice retro audio/visual. The game is simple but well implemented. A lower difficulty curve would be nice to allow for learning.

Incredible accomplishment for 48 hours. I actually didn't believe it until I watched the timelapse video.

Drain by hydancer 2013-12-16T05:42:00

Excellent mood! The gameplay is simple and a little frustrating when trying to connect small beings and resources. Great graphics and game-feel.

Shabby Buffet by Devtactics 2013-12-16T05:27:00

Pretty funny though obviously incomplete

L1ghter by quill18 2013-12-20T22:48:00

Using the mousewheel to flick the lighter is brilliant. I found the voice-over to be a little annoying and not all that humorous.

One Path by postmodestie 2013-12-16T21:25:00

The platforming controls are very shaky and I wasn't sure if the questions had right answers and how they affected the platforming sections. The graphics are unique and well done though.

Strawberry in the Underworld by Manky 2014-04-28T03:20:00

Great use of the theme and nice art. The controls made it a little frustrating for platforming sections.

Bellow by RedPanda 2014-04-28T02:50:00

Despite the control issues that you acknowledged, this game has an excellent mood. High points for Graphics/Audio/Mood!

Beneath The Memories by StuffBySpencer 2014-04-28T03:27:00

Tight platforming, "Thomas Was Alone"-style narration, and a complete story. Very well done!

Graphics are really top notch. Best I've seen in a compo!

DIVE by Lars Faust 2014-05-01T15:06:00

This game is aesthetically gorgeous. The graphics aren't just well produced like many other entries; the design is also unique. The gameplay is a bit simple but who cares when it looks this nice?

Digable Planet by Oddly Shaped Pixels 2014-04-28T11:35:00

Excellent! The mechanics are quite unintuitive and are not explained well, but once you understand them it's quite fun.

The Crevice by ZQMony 2014-04-28T02:42:00

Nice graphics and audio! Starting from the beginning is a very strict death penalty though.

deep down by Jan Peter (jpdev) 2014-04-28T02:45:00

The controls are floaty in a good way: it feels like you're steering a submarine. Blowing up sharks is very satisfying.

LLOYD by danialhyatt 2014-05-01T15:23:00

33 is a very large number! But I stuck it out because I was intrigued by the story. Then I get a pack of cigarettes and am told to catch 33 more? I think you need to consider that people doing a Game Jam have less of a commitment to an individual game and probably don't have the patience for 66+ fish.

That said, I LOVED the mood (5 stars) and the story is interesting. I wish I knew how it ended but I don't have superhuman patience :(

Psychiatric Hospital by GuillaumeGwi 2014-08-26T22:52:00

In an age where we are all looking at our phones connecting to a person that's right in front of us may as well be another world. Music/Sfx were simple but added a lot to the mood, I was genuinely creeped out. The maze was really hard on the eyes and stomach due to the severe wobbling but, this might be the mind of a psychiatric patient, which might be the point, but as a user it was hard to endure. Overall an interesting setting and strong thematic connections.

Line Crossing by Lissar 2014-08-26T05:30:00

Very cool graphics. It's exciting to enter those train carriages when you know each one has something wildly different and weird. The font was a little difficult to read.

Shattered by guimonpa 2014-08-26T15:39:00

String Theory by TowelKing 2014-09-03T18:35:00

Nice interfaces and solid concept! Wish there was some deeper systems here, was hoping passing over my own string and turning it yellow was mechanic but it didnt seem to be. Would have been nice to start with a shorter round to begin with but slick graphics and smooth gameplay. Nice work

I did a huge double take when the game starts with you chained to a wall, that was really cool. I also like the whole reversal of the victim and tormenter. I'll admit I couldn't figure out how to unlock the 4 digit password lock. And when I tried to open it I couldn't get the lock off of the screen. I'd love to finish it if you gave me a hint :)

The Second Thought or Please, Don't Touch Anything by Four Quarters 2014-12-20T20:28:00

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Graze by Merigrim 2015-04-20T04:00:00

The concept of recharging when you are near enemy projectiles is extremely compelling! Well done. In my opinion it is undermined slightly by the ability to shoot through walls. High points for fun and innovation!

TeleMage by ProjectX593 2015-04-20T04:47:00

Very interesting mechanic!

What Have We Created?! by Ranmara 2015-04-26T19:13:00

The monster building was a little janky; it was hard to tell which pieces fit together and how to attach legs. Despite that, this is my favorite game of the jam so far. The art and music are fantastic and watching your creation tear down the city is humorous and satisfying.

Unconventional Truth by Techblogogy 2015-04-20T03:49:00

Nice mood/audio!!

Into The Fray by Naked_Samurai 2015-04-26T19:03:00

Interesting puzzle game. I would never have figured it out without the out-of-game explanation of the mechanics, but it was quite engaging after I did. It really could have used an option to speed up the movement of all the units. I loved how the music picked up in the third level.

Ramming Speed by dingotime 2015-04-20T04:38:00

Really nice look. Ramming though a corridor of firing turrets is quite satisfying.

Pogo Dojo by Danman9914 2015-04-28T01:02:00

@GAFBlizzard I am so happy to see someone who reached the "Ultimate Victory"! I had no time to playtest the scores and create a proper tutorial so a lot of people don't make it that far.

Unconventional Earth by GameDevExtreme 2015-04-20T03:39:00

I found the tutorial was more than adequate and found the mechanics pretty intuitive. There wasn't much of a challenge other than getting a better time but it feels good to unleash tornadoes.

Her Majesty's Apathy Bomb by ianburnette 2015-04-20T05:53:00

MSVCP120D.dll and MSVCR120D.dll missing for me :(

Starshift by jacklehamster 2016-04-18T02:51:00

It was cool to see how the different basic shapes could create the complex goal shapes, and the little sprites that popped out were a nice reward. I think the controls might be a bit buggy; I would press an arrow key and half the time the shapes would shift over more than one column. Otherwise, nice work!

Stasis Core by Eshford 2016-04-18T16:24:00

The controls were definitely awkward but everything else about this entry is great! Love the pixel art.

Porknight by Conk 2016-04-18T18:44:00

Completely charming art and animation. Loved it! Not sure how much strategy was involved other than wildly swinging and then waiting for my cart to regenerate at barricades. Great idea using the knight's obesity as a way to shapeshift. Overall, top notch entry.

Shape Renegade by Kryptarchy 2016-04-18T16:45:00

Servants by Thomas Olsson 2016-04-22T01:54:00

Agent Shift by jollyserpent 2016-04-18T21:50:00

The wall of text at the beginning was heinous but once you're past that, this is a pretty interesting entry. I'm a sucker for card mechanics and this delivered interesting ones. Cool theme, cool game.

Bounds by Nervous Composers 2016-04-18T18:15:00

Really neat mechanic! I almost got to the end of the tetris block shaped level but the difficulty got the better of me. I think having the freezing of the shape be delayed made the game harder than it needed to be. Overall great though!
