Haha this was a fun little game. The music got a bit redundant but everything else sounded good. Really loving the graphics!

@tim_u: yeah it's an issue with the latest Unity (3) version. A different browser should fix it.
@tumoxep: thanks! The node disables the shield, you need to shoot the firewall to turn it off (has quite a bit of health). Hope this helps :)
Liking it a lot :D It's simple but i think the idea is great for this type of game! Love how your art turned out in the end ;) A bit too hard indeed, i couldn't defeat the player yet, but then again i'm terrible at shmup games :P
Yeah there is a bug with the jumping at the moment. I didn't have enough time to fix it sadly. Thanks for playing it though! :)
Hah this is cool! I actually really like the graphics and the quirky physics :D good job
I love the idea of this one! I found the controls a bit finicky, changing the gravity with my mouse wheel took a long time in few instances, and if i didn't set it up right and died, i would have to scroll through rather large numbers again.
Other than that it's really cool!
Thanks @minism! Attacking by walking into them sounds good. I actually don't have much experience with roguelike games, so i'm surprised i felt the urge to make one this weekend. So getting tips like this are much appreciated! :D
It looks really cute! My frames slowed down a lot (played in Firefox), especially near the first checkpoint it was like a slideshow. The collider needs to be a little bit smaller too to be a bit more forgiving. But besides that it's a neat little game :D
"Web NO INTRO" - why would anyone ever want to click this? The intro is probably the funniest thing i've seen here so far, i love it!
What a weeeeeeird game, very interesting concept and idea, i like it :D
the music is pretty groovy :D been looking for other roguelike games so glad to see this!
This is a really cool idea, very creative :)
I love the Thief style of it, stealth is always fun :D
Really cool puzzle game, i love that you have to move some parts of the environment and the pipes, and i especially love that there is no timer making me nervous heh.
The art style is amazing, there is nothing to complain here at all. The colors and style are awesome!
The gameplay is a bit frustrating to be honest. I was able to kill the first few skeletons until i entered the cave and then died. Every enemy afterwards seemed to kill me and it got frustrating.
I think not to die in one hit and faster respawning would make it less frustrating. It takes too long after you die to respawn.
But this seems to have a lot of potential!
Really cool concept, little bit different than other digging games ;)
I had a big problem though that made this experience a bit frustrating. Sometimes i couldn't go down fast enough. If i kept pressing down, eventually he would stop digging. I had to wait a bit and hold the button longer, or press it multiple times, for him to dig further.
This feels so nostalgic even though it's brand new, i love it :D Nice idea, very smooth gameplay, awesome music!
I wish i could grow a beard like this :(
This is amazing, nothing wrong with it, would love to play a bigger version of this!
Thanks a lot guys for all your awesome feedback, i'm super glad to hear that you guys are enjoying it, means a lot!
@Jace239 yeah it does get a bit too hard to catch the flowers. Perhaps pete would have to jump quicker over time to compensate for that or make them spawn a bit sooner. I might have to experiment with that!
@ajopart no extra lives unfortunately heh
To people who were interested about the "tech" behind it:
The beanstalk itself is a procedural generated mesh and follows an invisible target that moves at random intervals. The thorns and flowers spawn on the side of the stalk at random locations and intervals as well, so that every run is different from the previous.
It starts with a few misaligned robots, and soon the world will be ruled by crazy robots.
It's fun to play especially when you try to align them perfectly. Was so close getting one perfect once and then misaligned the antennas heh.
I feel very relaxed after this \o/ Very interesting game and awesome art
Bit confusing at first to get used to the controls but didn't take too long. Once i figured it out and once you added obstacles, this became a ton of fun really quickly!
Finished all 8 levels, number 7 gave me so much trouble haha, but it's awesome.
While playing i imagined i was some kind of little spaceship flying through a cave or something. I think this game could do really well if you add a few more mechanics to it!
Wish the level was longer but overall very clever idea and fun to play, and of course the art style is amazing, as is all of your art.
Controls were a bit difficult to get used to but other than that it was quite enjoyable. I don't think the theme was used very well though
Controls are a bit strange but maybe it works better on a mobile device.
Cute art style! :D
This was fantastic! I love this and would love to see this as a somewhat bigger game, with more cards/mechanics/bosses.
This game somehow makes you feel super smart with it's awesome mechanic. It's fun to be able to use all 3 cards in combination to get the perfect attack/defense values.
Love the end song, i'm the hero \o/ Took me a bit to figure out that one of the villages was interactable, but once i did it was a lot of fun
Took me a bit at first to figure out what to do but that was my own fault for not reading the entire description heh.
Had fun though! Art is very nice and clean, idea is very cool.
This is perfect! Awesome art, creative idea, nice music and sound effects and matches the theme perfectly. Very challenging too (highest i got was 167), but lots of fun and very addictive.
Wish you could restart the game by pressing A/D or something as well so i dont have to use the mouse at all, but other than that it's great!
It's like a Simon says game but with higher stakes (you know, the eldritch gods kinda stakes).
During the tutorial i was like "ah okay, yeah, cool, oh i see, i get it".
Then the game started and i was like "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!?"
Love it, very nice idea, love the visuals, made me want to play Loom.
It's not often that i can rate "mood" on a projects without thinking "why the hell is this even a thing to vote on??".
I'm terrible at remembering things but i tried to remember the music notes instead of the icons itself, which helped a lot.
Some of the rooms look really nice, the art style is great in general.
Good job!
It's quite fun but i feel like the randomness of the power ups (especially the shrink/grow once) can be somewhat frustrating at times, it feels like it doesn't matter how well i drive, RNG decides who wins.
But maybe it works better in multiplayer (could only test singleplayer)!
Controls were a bit stiff but it had some clever level design and awesome puns
Art and animations are great, background music is good too.
I don't understand the blinking lights and the "dun" sounds that show up after a while, and honestly they kinda became annoying after a while.
Doing a combo was more hurting than helping cause it locks your character up for too long and if not timed well enough, you take a lot of hits (and i find it hard to time it properly).
Other than that i think it's a great game and was fun to beat up robots!
Difficult but fun and has a nice art style! Would be nice if it was a bit more forgiving (not end right away after letting one thing through)
Monthy Python - The game, pretty much. Was awesome and funny :D
This was really fun and the art and animation really add to this. I love how he gets tired for a little bit when missing with your tongue so you can't just keep spamming it. Quite challenging!
This was quite fun, i didn't manage to collect all the light thingies but did alright. Once you get the hang of it it plays actually really nicely (letting your plant move automatically while aiming and shooting helps a lot).
Could question if mouse controls count as "two button controls" cause you use the movement of it as well, but i think as long as it matches one of the themes it's fine.
That's really impressive for your first project and the amount of time you had. My greed made me want to keep collecting the sunlight heh
Wow this was beautiful! The art style is amazing, the idea is clever and fun, the music is super relaxing, the entire game is very relaxing actually.
Awesome job guys!
