LD26 — Minimalism

The Strange Room by eyecreate 2013-04-29T05:45:00

Looks interesting, but I couldn't figure out how to enter the password into the computer. Could just be my unfamiliarity with text-based adventures.

Beautiful looking game, although it also took me a while to realize what I was supposed to do. I also found I could get quite far by spamming lots of each colour, which got boring after a short while.

Pink Haze by jwin 2013-04-29T09:37:00

Brilliant!

Quite a lot of fun and suites the theme. I think I would have liked a bit more challenge early on.

Thanks man!

Music was really hard. I started working on doing some procedural arranging of loops for variety, but I couldn't get it to produce reliably good sounding music, so I just went with something simple, if repetitive.

Hi TripleHexel,
I think I might have fixed your problem (I changed the shell for that script to bash instead of sh), but I'm not sure as I can't reproduce it myself.
Could you try again?
If it still doesn't work, please try running the following command from the tulip directory:

$ ./ltclient data

I've updated the Linux build of the engine so that most of the dependencies are statically linked. This means you don't need to install specific versions of glew, glfw or openal to run it. There are no changes to the game itself.

Hi ohsqueezy,

I did some research and that error could happen if you're using the default Windows OpenGL drivers (which have no hardware acceleration). Installing the latest graphic drivers from your GPU manufacturer might help.

Ian.

I Know Nothing by MathiO 2013-05-01T12:38:00

I had to play this twice. Quite moving.

RGB by Jaus_LXXIV 2013-04-29T07:19:00

Innovative idea! I think it would have been even more fun with keyboard controls though.

Synesthesis by TheFuntastic 2013-04-29T09:52:00

I found this game intriguing, but I had no idea what I was doing. I'd just join up random nodes and click them and eventually progress to the next level.

Be The Wind by dstozek 2013-04-29T09:06:00

Really beautiful. I love the way the trees grow outside the game frame.

Floating Point by 7Soul 2013-05-06T13:48:00

I "click to begin", but nothing happens (using Chrome 26.0.1410.64 on Windows 7).

The Void by Frib 2013-05-05T07:35:00

Crashes on launch for me (I get a "LD26 has stopped working" message). I'm running Windows 7 with latest updates.

Wandering Darkness by Graham Weldon 2013-04-29T05:11:00

Nice. I couldn't stop playing until I finished it.

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

Gubble Quest by Somfunambulist 2014-04-28T03:53:00

I don't know how to start the game. Press enter: start menu item disappears, but nothing else happens.

Substratum by Ian MacLarty 2014-05-02T06:16:00

Thanks for all the kind feedback everyone :)

If you're stuck at the first blue part, here's the solution: https://vine.co/v/MvXj0tgBLdg.

Beneath The Memories by StuffBySpencer 2014-04-28T05:26:00

Wonderful. The synthesized narration was surprisingly effective.

I really like the way gathering more "markers" causes the anti-bodies to become more alerted to your presence.

LD30 — Connected Worlds

Suburban Garden by Ian MacLarty 2014-08-26T01:30:00

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I've added some play tips to the game's description and turned of donations on the itch.io page.
