the gameplay behind shaking them off was a really cool mechanic, and the difficulty level was pretty satisfying.
This game was presented in a very interesting way! I loved the imagery, especially the environment. However the best part of the game was the eyeballs.
As short and simple as it is, I love the mechanic of blocking a drain to exit a room. This could be the beginning of a really cool game if more was put into it!
This game had a very mysterious air to it, whether intentional or not. Very nice sounds and music. The camera was very shaky, which was potentially on purpose, but it hindered gameplay a bit.
WOW I love this game. Objectively the graphics are a problem, but I seriously don't think I would have liked it half as much if they were different. The audio is hysterical. I had to restart the game because I didn't hear anything over my own laughter. Fantastic.
Really unique premise, overall adorable game.
Ingenious gameplay, very difficult.
There were some really cool elements, especially the way you could influence the water! Expanding on that idea would be really cool!
Wow! This is by far the best game I've played yet. The graphics are nothing to get excited about, but that hardly matters given all the other ways this game excels. The high-speed chases and smooth character replacement were extremely cool. I am a huge fan.
I really like your main character sprite. The FPS was fine for me.
This game is very simple, but very satisfying! Seeing the number climb as my minions spread out was extremely gratifying. And even though the sprites weren't animated, I thought they looked very nice.
I really love the gameplay mechanics in this one! This is one of the few that I'll be moving into my games folder to play more in the future!
I really enjoyed the story and the way it was presented. Definitely worth my time!
Really cool game. I love the humorous dialogue. The format is really refreshing, I used to love playing games like this. Very cool story!
I really love the graphics!
Excellent game, I think it's probably the best I've played yet. The graphics were great, the gameplay was interesting and multi-faceted, and the skill level was just right. I think my only criticism are the snowflakes. If they were just a little smaller I think they would be perfect.
I like how the mowed grass is bloody and gross.
The environment is fairly decent, and the enemy models are really interesting. I would love to see this game with all the proposed features!
Stellar game! I am biased toward well-designed pixel characters, and this game has em! Overall good, however there's a bug that allows me to place enemies right at the door of many levels, which is effectively an automatic win. Very very impressed with this one!
Really nice game! The imagery is very nice, and the gameplay is simple and yet novel. I really dig that skull that slowly appears, I would love a tshirt with that on it.
The procedural nature of the graphics was really nice!
This game is great! I love the physics, which are rock solid by the way. The artwork is very nice, the sounds are funny and gratifying. I'd love to see twenty more levels of this!
I really want to play, but the web link doesnt seem to work
For a quickly made game this is actually very functional. It took me a moment to discover how to place units, but after that it was smooth sailing.
I have to admit, I kept this game running for upwards to an hour while I played other entries. Surprisingly satisfying!
I love the graphics, and the gameplay was solid.
Not being able to skip the dialogue is a problem, but the premise of the game is genius.
Really solid game, I absolutely love the commander guy who speaks to you. The only major problem I could find is that houses continue to appear during menu screens. They don't proceed, but they build up, basically rendering the game impossible unless you exit the menu really fast.
Overall, great game!
Very gratifying experience, it felt so good destroying everything.
Really great atmosphere in this game! It was easy to feel like I was part of the story. The only thing I'd change is to remove the double-tap movement and switch idle camera control to the mouse.
Really great color scheme with this game, really draws attention to the needles.
Rank: Theif (I should probably give this one a few more runs...)
I love the art!
This game is pretty sweet, I love turn-based games like these. Definitely up my alley.
This is actually fairly decent, although I would have loved more minigames. Fun change of pace.
Really nice graphics, fun gameplay, overall cool game!
Wow! I actually really enjoyed this game! The gameplay started out extremely simple, but quickly grew into something complex and exciting. The remote missile level was challenging but extremely satisfying! And I love your main character design. Could have used more sounds, and maybe a bit more polish on the art, but overall fantastic game.
Really nice graphics!
The environment you created here is one of the best I've seen in this contest. A little less mouse sensitivity and maybe some wasd controls and this would have been a slightly smoother experience.
This game controls really well, and could have been really cool if there was some terrain that was difficult to navigate, while the girl was perfect at it.
The visuals are great, monochrome graphics will always appeal to me. Nice, basic proof of concept game.
Not bad, although nearly impossible to dodge the sword, I find.
I'm really diggin' the shaders for this
Love the enormous map, and the graphical look of the game
Stellar graphics, decent music, cripplingly hard.
Nice start!
The combo mechanic is really fun!
Pretty nice gameplay, it was a real scare having to run and find my ammo amongst a crowd of enemies.
I was going to sink a bunch of time into my main project over winter break, but I may just code this from the ground up instead, in an attempt to finish it. If I do, expect an actual lighting engine, and A* pathfinding.
Brutally difficult, fun premise.
I really like the visuals
Loved this game! At first the controls were unintuitive but then they became very satisfying.
Great visuals, incredible variety in weapons, definitely a blast! Only issue I had was I died immediately upon respawn at one point and got caught in an infinite loop.
Pretty nice! Almost more fun to dodge the monsters than kill them.
The engine is really nice! I'm also incredibly impressed with how much text you cooked up in such a short period.
I'm a huge sucker for ascii games, and this one is no exception. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Pretty fun game! Has a real bomberman vibe, which I like.
Really fun, the music perfectly compliments the manic gameplay.
Incredible game, great art and music, would definitely pay for this.
I really love the graphics.
I love the art style, an incredibly stylish game for sure.
A lot of fun, very functional. If there's any issue this game has, its ludonarrative dissonance, but that's forgivable.
Exceptionally great imagery
Really great gameplay!
Oh man, I love everything about this!
Pretty fun! Not too terribly difficult, which is a common problem with games like this.
Really great game! I loved the day-by-day format, I loved the upgrades and the tiered exploration, and really nice pixel art to boot!
Great atmosphere, I'll play any game where I can walk around a dark temple. Simple but satisfying puzzle premise.
Once I found stuff to shoot I had a lot of fun!
This game is phenomenal, the atmosphere is rock-solid, I love the minimal graphics, the sound design is amazing, and the gameplay is great. I was literally frightened at multiple points as I played, regardless of the low-res graphics.
A little hammer would improve this game, but otherwise very well done.
This would make an incredible typing game if you added more letters or even words.
I really like the little robot guy. If everything moved a little faster it'd be perfect.
Should be fixed now, thanks for letting me know!
Sorry, you click on the little icon, not on the text. If that doesn't work I'm not sure what's wrong, because it works fine on my end.
Now that I've seen that Ellian has provided a walkthrough for "Where is my Bone?", I feel inclined to give you guys a hand:
Click on the drawers in the kitchen to open them up, providing a ramp you can use to get on the counter.
I actually didn't know it used an installer until it was brought up. Has it always had an installer? Because last ludum dare i didn't have this problem, and i didn't do anything differently. I will definitely switch it out though.
I just made a post about the future of Gubble Quest, and how you can get involved! You should give it a read!
http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/2014/05/03/gubble-quest-update/
Woops, accidentally reverted to an older version when I re-exported it. Should all be fixed now!
Your quest is to return "below the surface" where you live
I just finished the final version of Gubble Quest I plan to work on. You can get it here: https://gumroad.com/l/gubble
REMEMBER not to let this more polished version influence your voting!
Very solid game and nice graphics. Expand on the gameplay a bit and this could be really fun!
Loved it!
I love the models and just the visual look in general. I had a lot of trouble with the difficulty but otherwise great work!
Excellent game, I really loved the difficulty choice element. That music is excellent, you should definitely keep it around for a future project.
Excellent art, amazing music, but wow I got frustrated with the platforming. If it was a little less floaty this would probably be my favorite game so far.
This game just feels really good, I'd love to see it fleshed out.
Really interesting premise! Could be a huge time sink, in a good way.
Incredibly fun game, but the level with the first slime seems to be impossible? I swear I played it for a good twenty minutes. Testament to the fact that its fun though, I guess.
Confusing to pick up, but once I read the comments I figured it out and had a pretty good time.
This game is going to take a lot more time for me to fully digest it, but I can already tell that this is going to be a lot of fun.
Incredibly difficult game! Not bad though.
Really fun and morbid game. Very challenging!
The artwork is excellent, and the gameplay is simple but engaging. I loved it!
OH NO!!!
Very interesting premise with the shuffling gameplay combined with the very pipe dream-esque gameplay
Very functional and fairly enjoyable. If the ground looked like it was moving faster, and if the obstacles were presented as part of the environment, this game could be more dynamic and enjoyable. As it is, good work though.
Solid premise, if there was a satisfying explosion sprite this would be leaps and bounds better. Still pretty good though!
Pretty good game, really liked the music!
If I knew more about biology I'm sure I'd appreciate this game even more. That said, it was still pretty cool.
Very interesting gameplay.
I fricken love that zombie head attack, and the gameplay with toggling the sight function is interesting.
Really nice minimalist visuals, and I really liked the character designs. Got trapped in the room where it teaches me that z shoots cigarettes.
Really interesting use of color scheme.
I love turn-based and roguelike games, so this was a treat.
I really like the art, if there just a little bit of other gameplay this would be much better.
Very interesting gameplay! I got caught on stuff really often, but other than that pretty good.
The alcohol obstacle was really smart, overall very fun game
Really great atmosphere and pretty solid gameplay. The best part is easily the editability factor, more games should have features like that. The graphics sometimes break a little but otherwise very solid.
I love the miniature graphics and the soundtrack is solid. Great work!
Very interesting gameplay, this could easily be expanded into an even more complex and rewarding game. Great work!
Incredible game, really interesting and nonlinear mode of storytelling. I plan on spending a lot more time messing with this one.
I never would have thought it but now I know that I have always wanted a lobster fighting game.
Very interesting gameplay and graphics. Hard to hit those ramps, but very rewarding.
Reminds me of Dancin' Man, my #1 favorite of all time ludum dare entry.
Great graphics!
Great game, love the graphics. Took a minute to notice the arrows but once I did it all came together fairly quick.
Really great gameplay and presentation, cripplingly difficult as well.
This is definitely the best I've played so far. Interesting and inventive gameplay, super dark comedy, and great visuals. Even just a sort of ambient outdoors loop would have helped fill the silence, but it's not too bad. Reminds me of my own entry.
This game was stellar, I can't imagine how anyone could pull off such stunning visuals in such a short amount of time. It was particularly fun to exit the map and swim underneath everything, thanks for allowing me to do that.
Love the art style
I really wanted to beat that red cat, but alas I failed. Simplistic gameplay, but really nice music and visuals!
Exceedingly touchy, but I'm extremely impressed! Thanks for allowing me to spin out of control after I gave up.
Took a bit of getting used to, but not bad!
Absolutely fantastic idea! Pure genius!
Great work! Crazy fun, very challenging, and innovative. The text sound is a bit grating, but the game sound is perfect. I wasn't able to beat it. Is there an ending, or do you just go for as long as you can?
Great game! Only problem is that the beast moves just too slowly. If a chicken (duck?) just barely gets away from you, it takes forever before it's worth releasing the next one.
This an incredible game! Super chips challenge-esque, which is a huge bonus for me. Absolutely fantastic puzzle design, I would play a game like this for hours!
This was really cool! I had a lot of fun with it!
I really liked it! It's fairly simple, and at times it can be hard to guess what the ball will do, but in general I had a lot of fun!
This is pretty cool. I love the small variations in poses as I throw people off the ship.
Really interesting! I would have preferred if the controls were kept to the alphabet keys.
Incredibly inventive gameplay, the sort of thing that can get out of hand incredibly quickly!
This is pretty rad! I love how the level evolves as you go!
I like it! There's some awkward elements, but using the scroll wheel to reel in the fish was really satisfying! If it had some ambient nature sounds I imagine this game would be really relaxing.
Interesting game. Fun to tinker with. The sound needs a lot of work, but the graphics are great! I like that the fireplace and window effect productivity and energy.
Incredibly difficult, but fun!
Not sure what I should be doing, but it looks very nice so I'd like to keep playing!
Really interesting interpretation of the theme! I love the visuals, and the gameplay is all pretty solid!
Pretty decent gameplay, albeit slightly buggy.
Really interesting gameplay! I had to stop playing and let myself die to fully grasp what was going on, but once I figured it out I was really impressed!
I really liked this game! Even if the karma system doesnt effect anything, I thought it was a really fun touch!
The visual style and implementation was really interesting! I liked it a lot!
Pretty solid game, I would say the best improvement you could make would be to allow for rapid fire shots. If holding down the arrow key shot bullets nonstop, and the enemies took significantly more shots to die, the fun factor would greatly improve.
Interesting game, I like the thugs that give you the finger as an attack.
Fascinating gameplay system! You should definitely flesh this out, I had a lot of fun!
Pretty good for a first game!
Mode 2 was a great challenge! Mode 3 was frustrating though -- the molecules don't come within a close enough range and I spun for about 40 seconds without any yellow getting close enough to catch. Mode 2 is definitely the high point though.
This is a stellar game! Really genius gameplay mechanics and format!
Fairly simplistic, but not bad. The viruses were really difficult to dodge!
I'm not sure if the game freezes when I lose or if I'm just missing something. I imagine it would make more sense on a touch screen.
Very difficult, but extremely interesting!
Incredibly twitch! Not generally my thing, but I know a lot of people really value that.
I had a hard time understanding the mechanics at first. Really interesting!
Fantastic! I love the tiny visuals, I love the gameplay! I would definitely sink a lot of time into a more fleshed out version of this game!
Slightly frustrating gameplay, but it adds a huge level of humor to the experience.
This is fantastic! I love the small sprite aesthetic, I love the gameplay, the puzzles are fairly well designed, it was great. Most of all, the music was mind-blowing! I'd play the game for the music alone!
Really great graphics, nice procedural generation. My only complaint is that collisions are a little unclear.
Volume needs control other than on and off -- it's very loud, but it's awesome!
Fantastic aesthetic and solid gameplay!
I am incredibly impressed! I love the art, there's an amazing sense of atmosphere!
Woops, the left mouse feature was for testing! That's not gameplay, you just let them run into you and you do a little turn-based combat!
(You need to buy the slingshot to defend yourself from the archer)
Amittedly I didnt have a chance to really -play- my game after it was done. All the features work, however balancing is a crapshoot
The explosion physics are incredibly satisfying!
Oh my god i love the music. Really sweet design and fun premise!
Fun premise, smooth gameplay. Could maybe use a bigger gap between cookies though.
Fantastic! The sort of game that made me wonder why I didnt think of that! I love the visuals as well, the background tiles are really striking.
Really fantastic visuals, I love the use of photographic imagery! Really solid narrative game.
Really cool premise, would love to see an expanded version with more puzzle elements!
Really interesting ai for Dave! Fun premise and storyline.
The controls aren't working for me! I've tried it on Chrome and Safari.
Really fun physics! I love the background illustration as well, and the gameplay was pretty solid. Would love a more zoomed out screen though.
Interesting gameplay, I was surprised by the sort of rpg twist
