This is a great idea and a really good use of the theme. The first time I killed innocents (while I was still trying to figure out gameplay), I really felt like crap. Nice job!
I wish the zoom in on death was skippable.
I accidentally killed an 82 year pop singer.
This may be my favorite idea so far.
This is so clever. If you just slowed it down enough for me to keep up...
I clicked on this because the name made me laugh. This is an odd little game, and I mean that it the best possible way.
"Party Monster" is a pretty clever take on the theme!
Not really my scene, but thoughtfully produced and aesthetically consistent.
Fantastic idea, but it wasn't very responsive for me.
This looked good (though the sunlight was a little too much for me). I love the idea of this game supporting multiple play styles, but I feel like the scoring system undercut that (there's no wrong way to play it, but if you don't play it the right way, you won't get points... what?).
This is really great, and my feedback is really just minor nitpicks. I can't believe this is only 48 hours of work!
I came over to play this game after I noticed you commented on mine (thanks!), but it won't open. I double click the .exe, and give it permission to run, and nothing happens.
I love the original mechanic. It'd be interesting to see this expanded into larger game with more (perhaps collectible) shadow powers.
I'm not really sure I understand what's going on, but it sure is mechanically interesting.
Would not open. "A Java Exception has occurred."
Really clever idea, but the UI could use some attention. Making the monster hit-boxes a bit bigger would have helped a whole lot.
This could make a good mobile game.
Really interesting idea. The timer ticking down while I sort through my notes really kept engaged. The music added a lot to the mood, and the backstory felt very real to me.
I would have liked for there to be something more to the interactions (aside from hello/goodbye). Also, I was a little surprised to discover that gender is a universal constant.
I wasn't really clear what the pillar was for, but the game overall was pretty good.
Looked great, but the controls were a little floaty. I had a really hard time controlling the character, and I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do when I go to the top.
I made $649,382 before rising sea levels killed all of my employees.
This looks great, and feels like the very beginning of something that might make for a good game.
I think this is the best game I've played this LD. It sounds great. It looks really good. The game play is innovative yet nostalgic.
For the sake of critical feedback, I'd suggest more of a delay between when the bomb turns red and when it explodes, but that's really just a nitpick.
Excellent job!
Not really my thing, but incredibly well done.
I'm always impressed when people make a puzzle game for LD. Great work!
This looked and sounded great! I would love to see a little more variety in the game play.
Great take on the theme! Some enemy variation would really make this game pop.
I didn't really get what was going on, but I really liked the idea. Some feedback when I clicked around would have helped.
This was very interesting, but I mostly solved the problems by brute forcing instead of reason. I wonder if there's a way to encourage thoughtful problem solving? Maybe a tutorial that works you through how to reason about the puzzles.
I'm also very impressed by your puzzle generation algorithm. Bravo!
Bonus points for "butter luck next time."
I didn't quite figure this out, but the look was really cool. Some clearer instructions might help.
The is the beginning of a nice little Rouge Light.
Final population: 2040 I may have not fully understood the game, but I would have liked a something more strategic. I felt like I was just moving people into a country, watching that country turn orange, and then rushing them out again.
It looked and sounded great though! Best looking game I've seen so far.
