I'm impressed by your entry. Hard to play as it goes very fast by moving a whole row or column. Good job.

boardtobits 2015-08-24 03:48

Chaotic, but a clever play on the 'monster'.

theziggy 2015-08-24 03:48

Hard game, but a lot of fun! Very nice take on the topic (as well as a nice take on the very cliché joke :P)

bortstudios 2015-08-24 03:50

There needs to be a lot more feedback on what's going on in the game. Sounds or anything on destroying a nine would make it a lot better, and possibly a counter as to how many are left

theruseman 2015-08-24 03:50

Much too hard, but it's a creative idea!

philstrahl 2015-08-24 03:50

That's the most unusual game I've played currently -- which is good. I don't know how much this relates to the theme, but it is one hell of a fast paced game to be sure. And working with ASCII characters is so Sinclair ZX81. Lovely!

stepmaniafin 2015-08-24 22:03

At first I thought that "Wow, this is some difficult game!" but then I noticed that you can shoot using the WASD keys. Good game, well implemented using javascript :)

arcadonauts 2015-08-25 01:06

This is so clever. If you just slowed it down enough for me to keep up...

teamcosmitronique 2015-08-25 03:26

Very creative idea. I really liked it.

fmdud 2015-08-25 03:28

Really great novel concept. A bit too fast for me. I had something where i didn't see the game over screen (i didn't think i died) but the game restarted anyway? I had this quite a few times. Didn't affect my score though. Cool idea.

andrew-2 2015-08-25 04:42

Quite hectic and my reflexes are sadly no match. Consider this an official request for easy-mode.

goutye 2015-08-25 05:50

Hard to play, but I was able to get some nine! When you success in be around the center, you are almost safe. But the fives are the next level of difficulty. Impressive!

andrew-2 2015-08-25 15:04

Easy-mode is sufficiently easy. Thanks :D

jakob37 2015-08-25 16:33

Very unique, nice style. Got much more entertaining when I actually read the instructions, and realized that you could shoot stuff. Nice job!

nomys_tempar 2015-08-25 17:45

That's a furious game! Really good, simple and fun!

mickanio 2015-08-27 00:27

This was a cool way to render graphics. Good jorb : )

joshyoshkenoshi 2015-08-27 10:58

A very original concept, although rather fast-paced!

linus123xbb 2015-08-27 15:51

Very innovative game, I also liked your use of the theme. Some audio would be cool though.

ponk 2015-08-27 20:11

It's great !!

ghostonline 2015-08-31 07:44

Very clever, I am impressed! Well done :)

euske 2015-09-02 04:14

It could be much more fun with a proper difficulty settings. Managed to get a couple of nines but sometimes the score wasn't reset after game over.

shawn42 2015-09-02 15:32

Fun idea, definitely a lot of button mashing! After playing many rounds, I didn't feel like I could get any better though.. not sure why that is. Nice entry.

literal_games 2015-09-03 14:43

Haha! Funny take on the theme. Very hard to see what's going on.

joshua_burr 2015-09-03 15:04

Nice idea and fun to play. The slower version was much more manageable yet still not too easy. Found it quite hard to focus on the different numbers; using a variety of colours would help but may ruin your aesthetics.

wizzardmaker 2015-09-03 15:25

Nice game, the player(7) is a bit hard to see if you are in the middle of 10 different numbers

rodobodolfo 2015-09-05 16:59

really challenging! loved it

landosystems 2015-09-11 01:01

As a DF veteran I love the ASCII look. I needed the slower version as well, but it was a lot of fun! Twin Stick shooters on the keyboard is interesting.

phi 2015-09-12 18:29

I like the strict simplicity throughout the whole thing. The main difficulty is at the beginning of the levels... Maybe you could spread out the enemies in a less homogenous way or make them appear later to make it feel more natural. I found the slower version hard enough. Otherwise, great idea, nicely implemented, very playable! :)
