Digging for Gold by JoshDBB 2014-04-30T07:38:00

Thanks for all the feedback.

I promise that all the levels are beatable :) I didn't have anyone to playtest the levels so it was hard for me to judge the difficulty.

I will post a link to a walkthrough for level 9 (the one in the screenshot) later today for those that want it.

Digging for Gold by JoshDBB 2014-04-30T08:35:00

Please let me know if anyone would like walkthroughs to any other levels.

Eisenberg by Diamond Crow 2014-04-30T09:56:00

Looks like it could be interesting.

LD30 — Connected Worlds

Ivy by juaxix 2014-08-28T12:10:00

Interesting idea! I got 60 pieces and found what I assume was the end of the level but nothing happened.

Conversation by arhpositive 2014-09-07T21:48:00

Interesting mechanic. The rotation seemed a bit slow. I feel like this may have potential for touch screens.

Warp Paint by zatyka 2014-08-27T15:50:00

Best game I have tried so far.

Starving Symbiosis by Lasty 2014-08-28T17:22:00

This didn't work for me

Conflicting Landscapes by glbs 2014-08-31T21:57:00

Really enjoyed that. One of the balls got stuck on a step when I was climbing up the big white tower and kept throwing me back down. I did manage to jump over it and got to the top.

Terminal by Menesetsu 2014-08-30T15:17:00

The first time I ran the game it wouldn't let me input anything. When I refreshed the browser I was able to input but after inputting "start" nothing happened and I wasn't able to input anything else. I like the look of it though.

Psychiatric Hospital by GuillaumeGwi 2014-08-26T21:56:00

The web version is a download.

Wraith Hunter by waynaul 2014-08-28T13:06:00

Nice concept. Sturdy mushrooms!

Protect Both Worlds by Perjoka 2014-08-28T16:32:00

When I try to open this in OSX it tells me that the file is damaged and should be moved to trash (I tried downloading twice).

I couldn't get the web version or the osx version to work

The web link leads to a download.

Chain Mess by Muush 2014-09-08T10:35:00

Seeing as this is made in Unity do you think you could supply a Web build or an OSX build? I don't have a windows computer.

The Makers Hand by coffeemuggames 2014-08-26T18:32:00

This didn't run for me

A Sneeze A Day Keeps The Crates Away by Draknek 2014-09-07T12:54:00

Another great puzzle game! I loved the sneezing mechanic. The broom felt slightly awkward to me.

LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Break the Limits! by Volute 2014-12-10T19:26:00

Very interesting concept. I enjoyed it at first but it started to feel repetitive towards the end.

Resource Operation by someone 2014-12-11T14:21:00

As you say the gameplay isn't finished. I like what you have though. The turret icon was missing from the build menu so I didn't know how to defend myself the first time.

Space Melee by reverso13 2014-12-09T20:50:00

The web link seems to take me to a download.

Two Fold Swan by Jellycakes 2014-12-09T20:24:00

I loved the popup book effect.

Shooter in the box by syawqy 2014-12-10T15:36:00

I enjoyed this. Nice graphics. I liked the different kinds of enemy 'vehicles' that come after you. I also liked the way that you can deflect their lasers with your bullets, although that meant that the enemies didn't do a very good job of shooting you. Also it feels a bit odd that the enemies are completely defenceless after you have destroyed the guns. I found that when I died it was because the enemy suddenly rushed me and trapped me in a corner and I died instantly.

Thermonuclear War by panda 2014-12-11T01:46:00

I love the concept of this, I had a lot of fun playing it. I got stuck on level 3. I started to feel like I was a hacker! I think it would have been better without the one-screen restriction and maybe even without the time limit, It was kind of annoying to have to start again all the time. One of my favourite entries so far.

Dodgy Screen by Mixer 2014-12-11T14:50:00

Nice concept, good work on the theme. I found it very difficult though. Maybe it would have been easier if you could see one colour at all times instead of needing to keep checking. I also think the controls are a bit tricky, I think you slide a bit too much which leads to frustrating deaths. I also encountered a bug, if you fall into the blackness just after the title screen you seem to get stuck and I needed to refresh the page.

1 Screen Hero by zerocreativity1 2014-12-09T04:42:00

Very nice. Well polished. I think I saw a bug where a chest wouldn't open.

The Stickman Cometh by woz 2014-12-11T16:13:00

This didn't load for me in Safari. It got stuck at the end of 'Downloading Data'.

OMNI by Noah Ratcliff 2014-12-11T02:54:00

Really nice concept, I enjoyed playing it. The end was a bit hard. I found that sometimes it wouldn't jump when I wanted to and I died. Also I found that the screen sometimes seemed to shoot off a bit too fast which results in death.

Night of Slaughter by LogicielAllan 2014-12-09T13:38:00

The web version doesn't seem to exist.

Shinobi Showdown by CustomPhase 2014-12-11T18:10:00

Great fun, slightly awkward to control but a good laugh. It feels as tough it would be more fun 2 player but then no slow-motion.

Doll house: q-Be or not q-Be by Liam :D 2014-12-10T15:21:00

Interesting game, like a simplistic version of the sims. I couldn't figure out how to increase my curiosity. Also there doesn't seem to be any negative consequences from letting the bars empty.

Save the Giant by drkrunk 2014-12-09T17:55:00

Looks great. The character kept getting stuck on things though.

Polo by ChrisGaudino 2014-12-11T23:08:00

Very nice idea. I found that it quickly became too fast to have any hope of continuing and without knowing what the next colour will be you can't try to aim it at the right place. Maybe you could think of a way of making it get harder without just increasing the speed so that it never becomes 'impossible' and also show what colour is coming up next so that you can aim your shots.

Drunk Ninja Vs Alien by Maurogik 2014-12-10T19:13:00

Easily one of my favourite entries yet. Good job. I found that the slow motion was a bit too slow.

20 Days at Sea by bitserum 2014-12-10T01:42:00

Really good. I enjoyed playing it a lot.

20 Days at Sea by bitserum 2014-12-11T14:34:00

I really enjoyed playing this. Is it wrong that the first thing I ate was the human flesh? I was sick for the whole game! I found there was a bug that only allowed me to get off of the raft from the right hand side. Good ending.

Noel's Christmas Nightmare by jimmymcmillan 2014-12-09T21:17:00

I removed the wire from the tree and got stuck on a black screen.

Lone Wolf by KeinBaum 2014-12-09T03:46:00

If I hold a key for short time I lose the ability to control it

Pixplorer by Nega Drive 2014-12-11T00:58:00

I really liked this. I loved the graphics and the exploration. I found the jump to be very difficult to use, I think it would be easier if you could do smaller jumps by quickly pressing the button. Good job on the theme as well.

Mr. Spooky's Monster Hunt by Jani Nykänen 2014-12-10T18:57:00

It seems to get stuck at 'Loading 91%'. I'm using Safari.

Yibbits by cbear_wallis 2014-12-11T01:17:00

I really like this one. Very nice simplistic graphics. I love the effect when you die. Good use of the theme, I like the way the level builds up. I didn't manage to beat it, it became too hard for me. The controls maybe feel a bit too floaty, also you slide a bit which makes it much harder.

Entomophobia by DoubleS 2014-12-09T04:38:00

Very nice. The only thing I didn't like was the way the gameboy shakes when you kill things, it was good at first but later you kill too many things so it is shaking too much.

Spiral Wings by Joe Williamson 2014-12-10T15:05:00

Looks and sounds amazing. Love the dragon thing that you play as.
Not much gameplay to be had. I found it very irritating when you move your mouse off of the game window you shoot off to the top left corner of the screen, it made it very hard to fly anywhere but the centre of the screen.
I love the way you fold your wings in when you move fast but I think you slow down again too quickly. The closer you get to your target the slower you move so it can feel like a struggle to reach it.

PostFour : Reconstruction by monika 2014-12-09T04:44:00

Doesn't get past the loading screen for me on Safari.

PostFour : Reconstruction by monika 2014-12-09T12:42:00

Hi, as requested I looked at the Safari console:

The Human Experiment Show by Robber 2014-12-09T14:28:00

I loved the audience sounds.

Oshters Fishers by Manou 2014-12-10T14:49:00

Interesting concept. Very nice mood to the game, the music is very relaxing. It seemed that the fish all faced straight down for quite a long time, now most of them are upside-down. Also they all seem to be sitting in the corners of the screen. Would be nice if the fish swum about.

Wide Opened Eyes by nzgiije 2014-12-09T13:07:00

I loved it.

Honey, Where's my honey? by Vidsneeze 2014-12-09T12:49:00

Very nice sprites/animation. The game is a bit easy.

HexaPong by fancypants 2014-12-09T18:14:00

Nice concept and well polished.

Runny Square by NeithR 2014-12-09T21:15:00

I enjoyed that. Simple but fun. My top score was 14.

Dead Pixels by marvalgames 2014-12-09T16:25:00

There seems to be a bug where you stop being able to move.

Desserts Killed Your Daddy by Two Scoop Games 2014-12-10T19:45:00

I love the art. Especially the turtle cakes!

Hive by JoshDBB 2014-12-11T01:59:00

@Warboys A quick google for that error suggests that you need to update your .NET Framework.

I must admit that I never tested things on Windows, I'll take a look tomorrow and see if it works for me.

Tight Fight by Ciro Continisio 2014-12-09T18:13:00

I enjoyed this

Walk to the door by el-pepi 2014-12-11T00:44:00

Nice concept. I like that you need to plan ahead. The levels were well designed. I beat all 15 levels, the difficulty ramps at a nice level and you do a good job of introducing new puzzle elements.

Maybe it would be nice if you could figure out a way to make the layout of the arrows matter more to the puzzles. There could be some screens that can't be moved while the character is inside it?

Breaker by Resonious 2014-12-09T20:58:00

I really liked that. I particularly like the character sprite/animations.

Snowbert by spacedoubt 2014-12-09T17:40:00

Very funny. I like the art too.

Critter Blaster Extreme - Judge and Jury by Rocketship 2014-12-09T13:03:00

Good job, I really like the art. I had a bug where the crosshair wasn't in the same place as the mouse which made it very hard to hit anything.

Blackout by kaa 2014-12-11T14:28:00

I loved the creepy whispering and the general mood of this game. I had a few issues with it though. On several occasions I spawned in a hopeless situation as I was in a dead end and a bad guy was blocking my escape. I also noticed a couple of bugs. At one point my light power up stopped lighting up the screen, I still saw the glow around me but none of the darkness was lit. Also in the same game several (maybe all) of the bad guys stopped moving while facing a wall.

Plankton by alpha_rats 2014-12-10T14:37:00

I love the look of the game. I couldn't get the plankton to evolve past the first stage though (where it grows a tentacle thing). I only realised there were more stages after seeing your post.

Parable of the Broken Window by Akurn 2014-12-10T15:58:00

Really nice entry. Took me a few tries to reach the red door. Became much easier once I found a shield.

Avalanche by uvwar 2014-12-10T19:07:00

I love the visual style and music (though it started to grate on me). I found the controls to be pretty tricky and didn't make it to the top after several attempts. The collapsing platform made me give up.

Fire Tactics by MechanicMoon 2014-12-09T16:38:00

Very nice idea. I found that sometimes the fire wouldn't go out no matter how much water I sprayed at it.

Colour Blaster by TimtheBo 2014-12-09T16:34:00

The web version didn't seem to work for me, I just saw a blank screen.

Wizards Are Bad by Lovelock 2014-12-10T00:39:00

I really enjoyed this. I think it is a very nice concept. The first few times I played all of my guys were wiped out nearly instantly. I couldn't seem to directly control the guys so I couldn't get them to take shelter in the fort. Also when I chopped a tree down everyone stopped building to go and get wood and wouldn't start building again until all of the wood had been collected.

Tourney Knights by monkeedude1212 2014-12-11T23:16:00

Nice idea. I encountered lots of bugs though so it was hard to play. First time I tried I was stuck on the title screen, pressing space did noting. Refreshing the page fixed that. During the game the green night kept jumping so high that he shot off the top of the screen. Also I found that slashing with the sword had no effect at all on either me or the opponent.

Escape The Abyss by Paperscraps 2014-12-11T17:40:00

141 deaths later....I found David! I really enjoyed that, I've not seen a game that combines platformer gameplay with click based controls like that. Gets very hard towards the end!

Escape The Abyss by Paperscraps 2014-12-11T17:41:00

One thing I did notice was that when you jump from ice you sometimes seem to jump at a bit of a strange angle. That may have just been me though.

Blondmare by razieliyo 2014-12-11T23:02:00

I enjoyed playing this. I liked the choice of bullets and the way that you could select all of them at once, however they recharge fast enough that it seems like I do the best if I just have all of them selected at all times so maybe some balancing is needed. I really liked the music as well. I found the controls a bit too floaty which made it hard to dodge things, you gain height very slowly as well. I saw a bug where the tentacle monsters appear for a moment then disappear again.

Augmented Collector by ghostonline 2014-12-09T19:12:00

Very nice concept. I enjoyed playing it. Didn't go for all of the green cubes though.

Death Heap by madcapacity 2014-12-09T17:09:00

Really enjoyed this. I thought I had been buried under corpses at one point but I pushed my way free.

Beat+Trak by Lynx 2014-12-11T14:58:00

I like the visual style and the music. I started out doing very badly (no rhythm) but then realised that I wasn't actually expected to tap the button in the rhythm as I had first thought, I did much better when I held the button down much too early and let go much too late so it started to not really feel like a rhythm game anymore. I also noticed that my combo never reset, it would disappear when I missed something but when it came back it was just as high as before.

Forever Falling by danielilett 2014-12-10T15:29:00

Nice concept, I enjoyed it. I found that the movement was frustratingly slow though. Also I gave up quickly because I didn't want to start from the beginning for the third time. I would have liked to start from the level that I reached.

SheeBall by dieblume86 2014-12-10T15:11:00

Very fun, I love that you can curve the ball. Maybe felt like it curved a bit too much though?

Helga Kills Everything by mutatedsoftware 2014-12-09T04:27:00

I don't seem to be able to press play. Helga just swings her axe. Music is good though!

Stuck in Pimbo by huggabugga 2014-12-11T15:05:00

I like the art style. The game seems interesting but I didn't really understand the controls. When I click on things they change direction but I couldn't seem to choose the direction the turned. Also it seems that you can mostly leave things alone and they will sort themselves out.

Just had another look and figured the control system out, it is a strange way of controlling them.

Stick Dude by Havi 2014-12-10T13:18:00

I loved this game. It was a bit easy though. I go to wave 30 before giving up. I think you are given too much health and ammo so there is no chance of you dying or running out of bullets.

Tegual's Escape by Tegual 2014-12-09T18:09:00

Didn't seem to be able to move at all.

Level One Turret by geartech0 2014-12-10T02:04:00

I can't seem to get the torches to light.

Mutatoons by kingpirux 2014-12-09T17:27:00

A bit confusing. I love the artwork!

Updated audio vote.

31 Sugar Free by MurderSantaTeam 2014-12-09T17:57:00

Pressing space didn't start the game (web version). I was stuck on the instructions.

Play with the cat by Draknek 2014-12-10T13:00:00

I played with the cat! Maybe would be nice if the cat crouched down when it was waiting to pounce.

Orion by feiss 2014-12-09T22:47:00

The game froze just as I was taking off :( I could hear it all happening in the background but couldn't see anything change on screen. I was running it in Safari. Loved what I saw though.

Coliseum Crew by rogberth 2014-12-09T16:20:00

Really enjoyed this entry. Quite hard to control everyone at once.

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Glyph Valley by recursor 2015-04-21T23:53:00

It doesn't seem to work properly for me. Nearly all of the scenery was replaced by a big brown and white grid type pattern. I'm using Safari.

Miyu by SecondDimension 2015-04-21T19:45:00

I love the art and the sound. The whole thing feels great! I couldn't get it to work with an xbox controller.

Wink Murder by 2kah 2015-04-21T17:05:00

Really enjoyed this. Funny concept and I liked the graphics.

Baker's Dozen by Anheurystics 2015-04-22T03:00:00

Doesn't seem to work on Safari. I just get a coloured background.

Legend of the Barber by NuvlearGames 2015-05-07T11:39:00

I feel that this has potential. It would be good to see some details on the different enemies and maybe some more choices for possible actions so that you could be a bit more strategic about how you play.

NEG [controller req] by JoshDBB 2015-04-21T04:20:00

Playstation controllers should work fine

NEG [controller req] by JoshDBB 2015-04-21T12:16:00

There is no point in adding keyboard controls as the game is purely multiplayer and there is no way of having two players on one keyboard. I realise that this isn't a very accessible format but I didn't have any choice (without making a different game entirely).

NEG [controller req] by JoshDBB 2015-04-21T21:20:00

Because you need an analog input for the grapple hook (ideally another one for the dashing as well) so each player would need a mouse. It is definitely possible for some games, just not this one. Yes, you could have one on controller and one on keyboard.

NEG [controller req] by JoshDBB 2015-04-21T23:38:00

I'm using 'InControl' (https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/14695) to handle controller input. I've checked their website and Thrustmaster controllers aren't supported yet. I've sent an email with a request to support them.

NEG [controller req] by JoshDBB 2015-04-22T18:38:00

PS4 controllers should work automatically. I just tested on OSX and it worked.

Trouble Cliff by catchthefloaty 2015-04-21T04:23:00

It doesn't seem to finish loading in Safari. Looks good though.

Trouble Cliff by catchthefloaty 2015-04-21T17:47:00

Really liked the art style and very interesting concept.

GraviGone by Rialgar 2015-04-21T23:09:00

Very nice game, really enjoyed it. Good mechanic and nice challenges.

Marty Funk by retrogradeorbit 2015-04-21T12:02:00

This seems to get stuck just after the loading bar in Safari.

The Ultimate Weapon by LuisDC 2015-04-22T17:26:00

This doesn't work for me in safari. Both links say : "You don't have permission to access /LD32/UnityWebPlayer/ultimateWeapon.html on this server."

Harvest by Andrea 2015-04-22T17:21:00

I really like the simplistic art style. A bit confusing at the beginning because it seems like nothing is happening.

The Survivor by thecord 2015-04-21T12:21:00

Looks interesting, please add osx version

Rollout by Tortoise 2015-04-21T03:48:00

Really enjoyed that! I got a bit stuck at the very beginning but holding space sorted me out.

Charge Negative by Leaghorn 2015-04-21T20:08:00

Very nice concept. Looks great too!

Pong Tank by kirbytails7 2015-04-21T11:56:00

Interesting idea! I found the pong part a bit too hard because the paddles only move in one direction.

Sticks and Stones by adsilcott 2015-04-21T23:56:00

I love the animations.

Fjuffy teh kloud by jordgubben 2015-04-21T17:24:00

I love the cloud sprite. Fun concept but I found that the best thing to do was just wobble back and forth which causes you to cross yourself loads of times.

Mercury's Malevolent Meteorites! by Alex 2015-04-21T14:52:00

Really enjoyed that. Liked the music a lot. The embedded WebGL version didn't accept any keyboard input in Safari, the web player worked fine though.

SPOON by JDAivaliotis 2015-04-21T22:52:00

SolSurvivor by Blobo 2015-04-22T02:34:00

This didn't run for me in safari. The error was: "Download failed, please retry" (I tried several times)

A Good Tunnel Is Hard To Dig by Draknek 2015-05-08T12:02:00

Fun game. Somehow familiar...

LD33 — You are the Monster

Micromancer by radmars 2015-09-08T15:30:00

Amazing, I really enjoyed that. The most fun game I have played so far this LD. The controls felt a bit fiddly.

Lil' Drake by bombjack 2015-09-01T00:19:00

Very fun, enjoyed playing that. Would like to see a full version made.

Seven.Eat.Nine. by thatwhichis 2015-09-03T15:04:00

Nice idea and fun to play. The slower version was much more manageable yet still not too easy. Found it quite hard to focus on the different numbers; using a variety of colours would help but may ruin your aesthetics.

The monster by mrcdk 2015-08-26T00:31:00

really enjoyed that.

Adula by conormn 2015-08-25T20:47:00

Loved everything about this. I like the thought of a point and clicker type game where you need to make choices quickly. Looks and sounds amazing.

0G by Jimjam 2015-08-25T01:28:00

Really loved this. I had a slight issue with the cursor not disappearing properly and so I was always clicking outside of the game window.

Meet the Monsta by Schrodinger Games 2015-08-29T18:20:00

Enjoyed that, the graphics style and the audio were great. Found the timing of the movement a bit confusing.

Jenkaiu by PeYMaN 2015-08-28T17:53:00

Really love this. I burst out laughing when I saw the gif. Great idea. The static effect is a bit painful on my eyes.

Some Knights Left by farwyler 2015-08-31T11:22:00

My favourite entry so far. Looks and sounds great and I love that bard. Slightly painful trying to dodge and chase archers when you are so slow but I guess that is a part of being a monster! :D

Eye In The Sky by djfariel 2015-08-25T01:20:00

Fun game, I like the art and music too. I encountered a bug after a while where I became unable to move.

Mr. Legs by alex bergin 2015-08-29T00:24:00

I really liked this, it was fun to play and looks nice. I found that you only really need one set of legs, also my score kept resetting to zero.

Monster House by Korso 2015-08-26T13:09:00

Looks good but I can't find the web version.

Manifest Destiny by superfreak 2015-08-28T00:19:00

I enjoyed this entry. Particularly liked the graphics and the music. The sound effects were a bit too loud. It would be nice if the things that you destroy were knocked up into the air or something instead of disappearing.

Dude, Stop by Patomkin 2015-08-25T15:15:00

Really loved this. Some of the screens made me laugh a lot. Best game I have played so far this LD. The downloaded mac version didn't seem to work.

RGBlob by 966623 2015-09-08T12:02:00

Great puzzle mechanic. I ended up getting my box stuck and couldn't find a reset button.

iMonster by chkkll 2015-08-26T11:25:00

Loved it. Everything looked great. I especially liked the feel of the movement.

LD35 — Shapeshift

I Have Brig Plans by reheated 2016-04-19T17:11:00

Best game I have played so far! Really enjoyable puzzle mechanic.

Greenwood P.I. by JoshDBB 2016-04-19T15:58:00

@varuns Thanks for playing! The HTML5 version should be at the top of the itch page in the link, it can take a little while to appear. I would embed it here but the ludum dare site only allows games that are max 900x600 so this game wouldn't fit (1024x640).

Theseus by TheMeorch 2016-04-22T12:39:00

My favourite entry so far by quite a long way. I would happily play a full game of this. Good work introducing new interesting mechanics as the game goes on.
