Interesting, fun to play. I liked the style.
I really liked this. I enjoy adventure games and this was pretty interesting. Very nicely done.
Amazingly done.
I really liked this. It was almost soothing, with the music and sounds you added. Really nicely done.
I liked this, the music is catchy. Good job!!
Ahh I just loved this. Everything about it was awesome. The concept was unique and pretty great. I kept losing all the kittens D: Good job!!!
The controls of the character are a little bit hard. Other than that, I really like the concept. The art is pretty amazing and the music too.
Interesting! It seems like a lot of fun :D It's certainly a unique concept.
@rezoner I've got so many ideas of how I could use the whole system to make it more puzzle-based. The original idea had a lot more depth to it, but was lost in the execution. The original idea was that you would raise temples and have to solve puzzles to earn new the spells. It was planned on the player being unable to walk on tiles that were too high. This would have allowed me to section off the world until players completed it up to a certain point. The collision didn't work because of the very poor way I handled drawing the screen, which ended up costing me like 5 hours and I wasn't able to solve the problem anyway.
Very neat.
Wow, I really liked this a lot. I also had to read comments to figure out what to do after the Brute. I was vicious, violent and tricky :)
I liked it, has great potential for becoming a good game. Like everyone else, had some collision errors.
I really liked this, it was really fun. The only issue I had was towards the end at around 2000 or so miles left in the journey, the end report (The crew was able to hold them off, etc.) stopped showing up and wouldn't let me know how many miles I had left and all the sound ceased as well. Overall it was a fun game but I would have liked to see the end.
I thought it was really fun. The AI is a little too hard to get around but other than that I enjoyed it, in a frustrating sort of way. The music was really good too.
I like the concept. The collision of the walls are little weird. None the less I had fun playing it.
Nice. Really simple and fun :)
Nice. I really liked the music and sound effects. Kudos on spuds :]
I really liked this one :) Cats and rainbows...and I loved the sound effects. Awesome!!
I think yours maybe broken. I can't play it. It's just a black screen.
Pretty fun! I liked it.
E rank.
"You sacrificed your girlfriend Stacy for your brother. Well, blood is thicker than water is what they use to say..."
I like the humor in the game.
Good job.
You should have put a Windows or Web version.
This is one of my favs! Awesome job.
The mood was set perfect. Very nice game.
I don't mean to be mean when I say this.
I actually had fun running around picking out the problems with the game. Every game has problems, it's fun to see the stage in which everything is still being worked out. It reminds me of testing my own projects.
I really liked the voice over work. Keeping going with it i'm interested to see what the next builds are like.
Really fun! It was pretty cute. I kept messing up making the sandwich :(
Neat idea, I just wish I had a friend to play with to get the full experience.
The music killed my ears. I was wearing headphones with my system volume only at 20%.
Neat art style.
I like the concept and idea, it's very interesting.
Love the music.
@Lokarunith Funny you should say that because when making the game it was coming down to the wire we had to choose more levels or music. We ended up spending the last of our time making the songs.
Although the controls are hard to deal with, I played this longer than expected =]. Very challenging game.
Very neat concept.
This was somewhat sad but I liked it, the main character design was cute.
It was pretty fun! Neat concept.
Animations are very clean.
As expected rezoner your games are always awesome.

64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate.
My .Net Version is 4.0.30319. The crash report came from the 4.0 version. I extracted it and ran it as admin.
I'll try updating to 4.5 and see how that goes.
Both worked after updating. Must have been something newer than my original .net.
Pretty fun game, music was okay, graphics are simple but passable, everything felt nice. I'd like to see where this goes if you keep developing it. All in all good entry.
mychairhasalooin is has a nice little twist on the theme.
Nicely done, especially with the art.
I love the gore when you die, nice little touch.
Pretty neat idea. I liked it.
Very simple, very cool.
Simple but really fun. I enjoyed the music!
Very very good job on the puzzle. Challenging but simple.
Interesting idea! I liked it, it was fun.
I liked this, it was very intriguing and refreshingly different. Really great job.
Solid. Loved the music, mechanics, and concept.
One of the best I have played. If you work on this after the compo you should change up the controls, I didn't find them frustrating just a bit unintuitive. Space or up to jump and number keys toggle power on/off maybe would of worked better.(I found myself pressing these key while playing XD). I absolutely loved this game. The puzzles were awesome, and all the characters have good personality to them (Even though that maybe unintentional). A very solid entry overall.
This was surprisingly fun. The level of difficulty was nice as the levels progressed. Good job!
Interesting. I also didn't really like the bright colored background, it was a little distracting.
This was pretty fun and done well. I liked it a lot :) I think the sound would have been nice but since there was no time it still came out great. Good job!
This was such a good concept. I liked it but it was very depressing :(

Omg, wrong post LMAO ^^^^ That's what I get for having 5 Ludum Dare pages opened. Sorry about that.
This was very interesting. The controls were a little weird and it seemed a bit slow but other than that, very cool idea.
You did really good on the mood, graphics, and audio. Very beautiful game.
This could have honestly been done a lot better, sorry.
That was interesting. Like everyone else said, I would have loved it to go on after one day, but it was very enjoyable.
Very clean responsive interface. I loved the humor behind it too.
The game has its problems, but not a bad start.
I agree with psychomonster the idea is unique. I love how simple the game play is(I mean that in good way).

I liked it, it was pretty fun and interesting. The music was lovely, kind of calming and soothing.
Awesome game. The music is really well done and the progression of the game is perfect.
I really liked this, it was fun trying to figure out whodunit. Although I realized I'm not really cut out to be a detective! Great work.
Simple yet challenging, I love it.
This was enjoyable. I liked the art and the flashlight effect, would have been more tense with some music. Good job!
SO hard XD, but loved it.
Very cool. I really like this entry. Everything is polished up nicely.
Took me a min to figure out what was happening LOL. Overall really fun game. Good job.
Reminds me of Space Invaders. Very good game, it was fun and challenging.
This was a neat little game. I was a bit freaked out by all the enemies but it was fun!
Could use some sound and I wish the text would be a little faster but it was interesting and a nice little play. Good job.
Awesome! This was a lot of fun and a great idea. Very nicely done!
What are the chances that we both make a game about socks? lol. Very nice graphics and gameplay. It was a very challenging task.
I liked this, the color scheme added to the atmosphere of the game, which struck me as sombre. Nicely done.
Poor guy. Reminds me of myself in Physics class. Good job.
This was a cute little game, I liked the design of everything, really nicely done.
Very well done. I do like text games and this one was very impressively written. I felt really sad for the main character.
This was really fun to play. I like the art style! Good job!
I was a little confused at first thinking I beat the game in like 2 sec, but then realized that there are achievements. Replay-ability is always a plus, very well done.
I don't know how to get more hotdogs.=[
Okay figured it out the edges slide out allowing you to buy meals, adverts and research new item.
Very cool game, I really enjoy these types of games.=]
Nice game, can't find anything I didn't like about it.
This was strangely enjoyable. I spent quite a bit of time on it. Good job!
This was a neat little game, I like the graphics and the worm's comments every so often. Great job!
This was pretty creepy. The music was a nice touch, a bit jump-scare as I wasn't expecting it. It was a bit laggy for me as well but otherwise it was fun. Good job.
I like the idea behind this, making the theme your own interpretation of it. Great work!
This was cute. I really liked the drawn art style, and I sort of wish there was more to it but it's very well done for how short it was. Good job!
This was a ton of fun to play! I really liked the chaos, actually feels that way while Christmas shopping, honestly. Great job!
This was quite good, a little twisted at the end, kinda unexpected. D: But awesome job, I liked the story a lot, although it is quite unfortunate for the main character.
Ahh this was a little difficult, but my laptop doesn't have a num-pad so it was harder for me. I lasted only 19 seconds haha. Great job for making it so challenging!
Interesting take, insightful and rather depressing. Well done with the sounds.
I would really like to see a Post-Compo continuing with the story. Overall, this was really fun and entertaining. It was really polished. Great job!
This is very well done and a nice tribute to raise awareness for the cause. I liked the gray tones and music, it only added to the very depressing atmosphere.
That was pretty well-done, the writing was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect. Great job!
This was interesting, neat concept. Good job.
This was tons of fun, I wish there was more lol. Very cool game!
Good job, but I think the beginning drags on a little too long.
For such a short period of time, this came out pretty nicely. A post-compo would be nice as I think it has potential. It sucks that happened to you with the first game :/ Great job though!
Very interesting! I admit I made nothing but wrong choices and kept going back to get a better ending. I finally got the good end :) This was really great, art style was unique and the music added to the mood.
This was interesting, I enjoyed it. There were some collision issues but they weren't bothersome.
Wow, I really liked this. I liked the suspense and atmosphere of the game, the music just added to the tension. I shot the guy in the labcoat.
This wasn't bad, I like choice games. The scribbles made it feel somewhat anxious. Good work!
All I'm getting is a white screen it's not loading.
The was too laggy for me to fully enjoy it as Jishenaz pointed out. The music and graphics are top notch very professional looking and sounding.
This was pretty awesome, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I liked how the guys were sort of like, zombie-like and the blood spraying everywhere was a nice touch.
I really liked this, it was really pretty even with simple shapes. I wish it was complete :( I did like what was done though, and I'll come back when you are done to finish :)
I liked this, it was fun to play. The music was awesome.
This game was so well-done and moving. My girlfriend cried while playing it, the mood was perfect.
This was pretty fun. It was a bit slow when shooting and as a result my guy collapsed and died (?) a lot. But otherwise it was fun. Good job!
This was pretty fun to play. I was confused at first but got the hang of it quickly, just like a real job. Good work!
Very nicely written, you have a way with words. This was very well done.
This was really interesting and very unique. Great job, I really had fun with this!
This was fun and a great little game. I like how challenging it sometimes got. Very cute and really amusing. Good job!!
Interesting, aha. A little shorter than I was expecting. I didn't really get the joke, but good job lol. I liked the kangaroo :)
That was funny and entertaining. Is everyone a douche? I just slammed everyone and it kept telling me that everyone was "extra-douchey." Great job!!
This was neat, the character's animations were really smooth. Job well done.
I liked this one, it was interesting and kind of insightful. Very good job, I like games that make you think.
This was interesting and unique. I enjoyed going around and getting all the dialogue. Good job!
Lol, this was neat idea putting a lot of simple little games into one. And they were fun :) Great job, I enjoyed all of them!
I really, really liked this. The pixel art is so nostalgic and it was a lot of fun. Great job!
Really cool looking. Graphics were very well-done. I was confused with some of the other commenters as to what to do but it was fun wandering around and looking at everything.
This was a neat little thing, I think some music would have livened it up. I also had the same problem with dying from throwing the rocks.
I really enjoyed this. Like everyone else, the graphics are amazing and really well-done! It was fun and interesting :)
I really liked this! Nice art style and there were a ton of options for hiding and distracting your parents. It was also lots of fun. I got the cookie :) Very well done!
This was interesting, I liked choosing different worlds and families and such. The wit and humor made it fun :) Great job!
This was a pretty neat little game, interesting concept :)
@theholychicken Thanks for taking the time to write your comment. "The giant walking is unnecessary": we completely agree with you in this case, but we pumped so much time in this idea in the project that we ended up short on time (We had him in programmatic walking motion at one point.) We did have stuff like hanging, where the player would have been able to jump off and stab on the side of other platforms, but the way it worked was situational, and like the dodge roll, didn't have any real use. The hanging mechanic caused problems with climbing when the character was too close to something he could climb, and so it was unfortunately cut from the game. The giant in the end was designed much smaller than we first anticipated, making the platforming much more of a pain. I'll make a post mortem to go over stuff in greater detail as to why this game got so broken.
If would like us to build a fully fledged game / post compo join our group. There are details in the description. When we get more than 15 people we'll start on it. We're doing this for everyone who said they would like us to keep going. Thank you all for the awesome comments =].
@nosfer What are your specs? I get full frames on my 2 year old laptop, and I would consider my laptop low end besides the upgraded ram. If your specs are better consider updating you graphics cards drivers, the engine we are using uses webgl so your graphics card's drivers can have an impact on performance.
Laptop Specs:
Processor: AMD E2-1800 duel core 1.7ghz
Ram: 5gb
Radeon HD integrated graphics card
@ArcturusDeluxe and everyone wanting the project to go forward join the google group to push this project forward we are currently at 2/15 people. I'm creating the group for:
- People who want to be involved in making this a good game.
- People to play builds and tech demos for new mechanics.
- Anyone who interested in our concepts and art techniques.
- Everyone who wants to play a better version of this game.
The thing is it might take us a while to make this game and Ludum 31 will be long gone in that short amount of time. This makes it really hard to show the final product to everyone who wanted to see this go further. The google group gives us access to email addresses where you can be reached when new versions are out. It also provides feedback for us when things are broken or just bad ideas. By joining you have no responsibility just access to early versions and test demos. This will be a closed day-one alpha test group basically.
Very nice mood. The music was didn't have much to it but still created a nice atmosphere. Great job on you compo entry!
I had a very similar idea in ludum dare 26 only mine didn't come as good. I guess great minds think alike. =D
If you care to see it http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-26/?action=preview&uid=20825.
