LD24 — Evolution

Space evolution by wurstknifte 2012-09-12T03:33:00

I liked the game's concept, but it just seems impossible to play it correctly. I kept on losing after placing a few buildings. Money was always the issue for losing and I have no idea how to make money when I'm losing money for doing nothing.

Neanderthalis by 16Skittles 2012-09-12T03:47:00

The interface is confusing. I was pressing semi-randomly to get things working and craft a few things.
The game's idea is fine, but needs more.

Bullet Evolution by Mattykins 2012-08-27T04:19:00

Would be nice to get some sort of indication that I had powered up instead of periodically looking at the bottom to look at what had changed. Otherwise, nice shoot-em-up.

Tower of Babble by shockedfrog 2012-09-12T03:58:00

LoLz. I love how you use l33t 2 solve puzzlez. I do see how this fits the evolution theme after looking hard at your game. The more answers you solve, the more l33t it get5.

AInts vs Robots by YSelf Tool 2012-08-27T04:29:00

What program did you use to create this game? I'm unable to run the game as it kept on getting a critical error message before I even get the chance to play. I'm using windows 7.

AInts vs Robots by YSelf Tool 2012-08-27T06:42:00

Oops my bad. Finally figured out that I needed after skipping part of your note about XNA frontend.
I have horrible performance issues with this game. I'm using a Win7 64-bit OS with 2.3Ghz dual professor and 512mb GPU.

Live On Out by Ritzblues783 2012-08-27T03:37:00

I find the backgrounds very distracting, especially when they start scrolling. I'll give you credit for changing levels from boring to awesome towards the end.

Enzyme by conniac 2012-08-27T04:45:00

Simplistic, but that's a good thing. Although, because the only thing that changes in game is the difficulty, the game sort of misses the mark theme-wise. Still, this game makes a great brain-teaser.

End Humanity! by SFX 2012-08-27T05:06:00

Pretty fun game! I liked playing it.
I have to admit: the mechanics for leveling up your creature isn't too new after playing several flash games with paying something to get something better routine at each end of level.

Super Tree Evolution by bigbass1997 2012-08-27T04:03:00

I know there is some kind of trick to growing the plant but unfortunately I couldn't figure it out. I found the details of the growing plant to be too broad and doesn't really pinpoint if I'm doing good or bad. Basically, more details of the growing plant (in-between animation) would have been more helpful.

Super Tree Evolution by bigbass1997 2012-08-27T06:19:00

That's fine. I like the challenge. I just thought the plant could give out a few more hints -- such as turning brown -- and show some changes a little more frequently.

Fend off waves of zombies with your evolving gun DELUXE by Ezzam 2012-08-27T05:26:00

While paying somethin' to get somethin' is nothing new regarding evolution, the game is more free to allow you to upgrade at any time. Only problem is the waiting until the next batch of "zombies" raining down when I quickly defeated the zombies. The game's simple, direct, and enjoyable.

Foodvolution by cobrajs 2012-08-27T06:14:00

Boo, logging in to google to download?? Oh well, it was worth it. Very fun game, and -- like my favorite food -- I really wanted more! Good work.

AntiVirus by Galan 2012-08-27T05:50:00

Seems to work on my Windows 7.
I couldn't get pass the part where I get to shoot. The game is mean with poor hit detections. :(

AntiVirus by Galan 2012-08-27T05:57:00

Rated! The game has great ideas, just hindered with some programmatic flaws.

Mech attack by Spit Tex 2012-09-17T01:25:00

Obviously too influenced in Minecraft, but I will try to be fair. (FYI, I was wondering if I would see a creeper in it. :/) While I do see some changes in level design, that only occurs when I start a new game. The dragon fight is just too hard, so I didn't bother. I find the music to be humorous, but I'm guessing that wasn't intentional.
Nice try game-wise, but I'm looking for something more different.

Evolution of a Planet by BubuIIC 2012-08-30T21:41:00

I think there's no more after getting sugar and oxygen. This game is too smart for me otherwise. I would like a better visualization for fusing elements such as a picture of some atoms exchanging their protons. Otherwise, I would need to re-learn about chemistry.

Peanuts! by deejorg 2012-08-28T02:24:00

So funny! :D It's much like the other game "Lemmings" except you can control them physically.

Glob Experiments by Jim Haslett 2012-09-12T04:07:00

When I get circles to grow too big that it covers the entire game, I must have been doing something wrong heh.
I'm not sure if setting negative values is part of the game.
Cool idea though, but there should be an objective as well as a tutorial.

Platformation by MattDubuc 2012-08-27T06:31:00

Not bad, despite being incomplete. I could sort of see where you are leading with the theme: go somewhere, something changes. I would have enjoyed more of it though.

Belle by bentosmile 2012-09-14T21:47:00

Shame :( I wanted to give this a try.

EvoRVB by Jimbobblue 2012-09-14T21:53:00

Controls are delayed a bit, which made the game a tad difficult to win. I do like the idea for powering-up by overlapping moving... dogs? (Using my imagination.) I suppose petting those dogs would make you better, heh. :)

Dirt Ball by NukeTheBunnys 2012-08-29T04:59:00

I'm unable to run the file core.jar. I have java installed, but what version of java do I need to have?

Click Red, Eat Rest by Beep2Bleep 2012-08-30T21:50:00

The game works for me I think. I was able to click to keep the character up and down. Although, the game really spams a massive amount of ghosts and red squares that makes it hard to get or dodge.
Personally, I don't see any sense to this game. :/

Curse of Hardai by Incredible Ape 2012-08-28T02:44:00

Very nice concept. Although, the game loses its fun fairly quickly after playing five or more "mixed" rounds. That is when I start seeing the same "mixed" rooms again and again. You definitely need to add more kinds of rooms to keep the game fresh as possible.
One more thing, the typical mixing patterns that I found were purple+gold, purple+green, and purple+green+gold. Why there's no green+gold mixed rooms? :(

Curse of Hardai by Incredible Ape 2012-08-29T04:24:00

In response to creating a way to lose, it is rather good that you didn't add the life system or the game would be too darn difficult and mean. The only thing that should consider is time. Take too much time to complete a room, game over. Or... take too much time to reach a certain room or check point, game over.

Mutant Hover Kittens by Pisti 2012-08-30T22:00:00

I really don't know how to play. This game needs more instructions. What do the colors red, green, and blue represent?

Super Robocade by VoEC 2012-08-28T00:53:00

I'm mostly more interested in games with original or new concepts. Still, while this game borrows the concept of "Mario Bros.", this is fun.

Intrystious Triangles by zecmo 2012-08-30T21:53:00

Too many missing files. :(

Extinction Exhibition by free_napalm 2012-08-31T02:39:00

It's only fun for awhile. Afterwards, the game seems to play by itself. Even though the idea is nice and kind of funny to play, it's hard to see this as an actual game by itself.

Neon Spores by jellyislovely 2012-08-31T03:41:00

The enemies sure can populate very quickly. Of course, I
The controls for the ship is a bit slippery, but I guess it's all part of the challenge.
Still would have been nice to have an actual ending.

Revolution by BrothersT 2012-08-28T03:23:00

The game's difficult. The enemies are sure making their weapons feel more powerful than how I used them. :p
I'm not well with the controls, it just seems too awkward.

Involucion by elxris 2012-09-07T04:00:00

I had to keep checking back on what the three bars suppose to represent. Definitely a nice simulation game after you resolve some of the flaws that most users had provided already.

Darwin's Island by shieldofvalour 2012-09-14T22:03:00

I do see enemies that act differently each time I restart the game. I wonder if that was how you made the game work? Otherwise, it is a cool idea to have enemies of different attributes appear at those same spots.

Cubevo by NostraDamon 2012-08-28T00:14:00

Magnificent! I really love the strategic and puzzling approaches in this game.
Just to let you know, I did get stuck in one of the trees when I was making such a sharp turn around it. I wasn't able to get myself free and had to restart the game again.

"Cubevo" definitely have some potential!

Cubevo by NostraDamon 2012-08-28T00:15:00

One more thing: I'm just concerned of those evo points getting stuck between the two trees and the hard-to-reach ones on top of blocks.

Evolution of the Flying Pinatas by Zelen3d 2012-08-28T03:00:00

So much candy... I know those red/yellow circles causes the fly pinatas to multiply, but do they multiply from colliding each other according to kind? If that were true, that would definitely add a little more difficulty; just a little bit.
Good game by the way!

LimiT by Sakuyan 2012-09-07T03:41:00

Cool idea. I'm hoping for a bigger area to find more food so I don't have to wander around the same area constantly. Otherwise, I could see some great potential with this work.

The Gift/Curse Of Evolution by HeroesGrave 2012-08-29T04:51:00

I have to be careful not to stomp over the very first tree spout; otherwise, no trees will grow at all. I'm not sure if that happened to be a glitch.
I love the idea to explore the area and have things change around you.

Escaping Ludum by MattySVN 2012-09-07T03:35:00

Nice try, considering this is your first time participating. To be honest, I don't see anything relating to "evolution". If there is, I couldn't find it since the game is too hard; the life system isn't working properly.

Ugg's Travels by SciBerC 2012-08-29T05:09:00

I'm getting some serious glitches with this game. The character seems to be moving faster than the scrolling screen, causing collision problems. I hope it's just me, but I did have .net framework 4 and xna installed

a day to remember by Catmoo 2012-08-29T04:20:00

Good idea. Allowing a dinosaur to observe something and then try to adapt to those observations is actually a nice feature.
Ba-ba-boom!

Paradigm Shift by LuizHGMonclar 2012-08-27T23:10:00

What I enjoy most in this game is the changing levels. I'm not amazed at the battle arena in the end because I find that too dull. I enjoy the colorful artwork though!

Evolution Redux by [email protected] 2012-08-31T02:21:00

I couldn't see much that matches the theme. Although, you did a nice work on your game.

Creature Ranger by belk 2012-08-31T03:02:00

The game is a bit too hard for me unfortunately. I know there is supposed to be some strategy around, but I couldn't see it.

Mutate Now! by goerp 2012-08-27T19:25:00

I sort of had troubles trying to figure out how to play at the start. After finally getting the idea, the game turned out quite enjoyable. Funny humor too.

Sadistic Sid by Mitch133 2012-08-31T03:07:00

I guess this game sort of fits the theme...

Nucleus by Queegey 2012-08-31T03:23:00

Pretty good game. Nothing too new about leveling up your character through, but the game is still pretty good.

At First Glance by Yut 2012-08-31T04:03:00

Nice story and game. I guess you were trying to make levels more complex as the climax in the story (or love) gets complex. Otherwise, it suits the evolution theme to me.

Unstable Planet by HunLyxxod 2012-08-31T06:11:00

While I'm fascinated with the alterations of the same level, the game does loses its fun quickly. I was looking for something with a little more action and variety instead of wall jumping through the same -- yet slightly altered -- areas again and again.

Super Ultra Mega Brain Adventure Saga of Ultimate Destruction by Libipl Joe 2012-08-31T04:17:00

Cool game. I like how you can program your character to move.

Defense Of The Space Station Guardian by TheRealJefe 2012-08-28T00:39:00

I find the window to be too big for me; I'm losing some important information at the bottom.
Aside from bugs and glitches, this is not a bad game idea.

Darwin Fitotherapy by Rorkien 2012-09-17T01:47:00

Heh, the game is a bit silly, but it was fun to play!

Doyle Kane and the Hat of Elements by Hackerpilot 2012-08-31T05:56:00

It's not all bad. The idea for using your weapons is very nice. The idea for using them often to level up is actually awesome.

Garbage Man: Return to Earth [HD] by nicholi 2012-09-07T03:52:00

It takes patience to get the feel of the controls. I had some frustrations with it at first. Afterwards, the game was fun for awhile, almost like "Katamari" except you needed important items.

survival of the fittest by omgnoseat 2012-09-17T02:14:00

I find that I'm playing the freezing level more often than any-other levels. I believe there are only three in total. I find the punches to be useless as it doesn't do any damage to your enemies. Although, I do see the health-bar drop at some cases. I take it that if your animal isn't adapted to the level they lose health, right? Otherwise, good job with the game, but it definitely needs more entertainment.

Bachelor Bee alpha release by matthewdpace 2012-08-29T17:43:00

Just a few notes...
The stats are either in my way to enter flowers or out of view when viewing a flower's stat at the bottom-right corner.
Also, I have occasions that a new flower appearing at another flower's position.

Overall, I really like the idea. Although, it does get a bit tedious after awhile of playing.

Evolution Mutation by Munezane 2012-08-29T17:59:00

I'm having an issue of having the main character move faster than the scrolling screen. When I go to the right-most level, I'm hidden away out of view.

Also, it is very grim for the need to kill something in order to get something. Is it a bad thing? No, but it would had been better executed instead of "executing" somewhat cute creatures. (Yeah, I'm a softy :3)

Conway's Revenge by Nick Knowlson 2012-08-27T06:49:00

"Conway's Game of Life" is so remarkable yet so difficult to figure it out at a glance. At least this version is more free to try things out.

Catching Life by Fadobo 2012-09-17T02:00:00

Short and sweet. After learning how to play the game, the game turns out to be simple. I like the idea on building your rocket base and then lift-off to the nearest planet.

Entourage by jprogman 2012-08-28T01:00:00

I did scan for viruses and malwares of both files with zonealarm before and after uploading and both of them are considered clean.

Entourage by jprogman 2012-08-28T01:09:00

Concept-wise: the idea was to make all parasites "dumb" with a few practical "defaulted" commands. That is where you come along; to give them new instructions to conquer the field.
It wasn't intended to program each and every parasite, but was pressured for time obviously and just took it easy.

Shape of Evolution by AmazingJas 2012-09-07T04:09:00

First, the first level is boring. Having to use the same weapon to defeat the x's after one minute becomes too much of a chore.
Second, there should be a way to switch weapons.
Third, an idea to recover after a short period of time would be more helpful during later rounds.
Overall, nice game.

Evolution Revolution by Test User 2012-09-07T15:33:00

There should be clearer instructions about playing this game. I know you use space to fire and move with WASD after finding out the arrow keys does not work.
By the way, what does the blue bar represent?

the Evolution from zx81 by zx81 2012-08-27T20:11:00

I like the game play in a retro way. (Dating to the Atari ages.) Challenging, but it is a good challenge.

Graphics are overrated by kiwi 2012-08-27T19:32:00

I couldn't download.

Virus Mr Smith by jama211 2012-08-27T19:42:00

The game has a nice idea to clone yourself and control the clones to reach challenging obstacles.
Having the editor to work while you play is a neat idea; just it needs tweaking to prevent cheating. Maybe have a limit of the blocks to create or taking existing blocks and place them somewhere else?

Jim's Quest by craio95 2012-08-29T18:47:00

Pretty cool game except I can't really see how it fits the evolution theme. I know you have to collect DNA, but I think my player remains the same throughout.

Egocell jam by Adbook 2012-08-27T20:34:00

Download links are broken. :(

Probes of fury by zeoverlord 2012-08-27T20:14:00

I got a title screen and then a blank light-blue screen.
I'm using Windows 7 64bit

Morph, Virus, Morph! by metacozm 2012-08-27T20:33:00

Controls are very sluggish, making itself a challenge for the game. Still a nice concept.

Virus Evolution by jbb 2012-09-07T04:19:00

I'll give you bonus points for retro DOS feeling with the ASCII characters. :}
Game-wise: after fiddling with the options, the game feels like it can be played forever unless you set the viruses to stay within the bounds.
I wonder if the sounds produced in the game could be played with the PC Speaker?

Platformer Evolution by Rohit 2012-08-31T04:14:00

I can't really see how this fits to the theme in terms of change. While the levels do change, that is too much of a cliche to count as something evolving. Don't get me wrong, the game's fine, but the game's unforgiving when I lose.

Dr. X's Rainbow Arena by TheChemist 2012-08-27T22:01:00

Would have been nice to play using the keyboard in mouse. Otherwise, after finding the right controller, the game's pretty fun.

The Silver Spire by charliecarlo 2012-08-27T22:27:00

Very fun game. Hit detection is a bit off, but considering the game is simple and forgiving, I can let that slide. That one item underwater cannot be eaten. If that was your way for putting an end to the game, you sir are a tease! Lol. Good work on the game!

The Silver Spire by charliecarlo 2012-08-27T22:30:00

One more thing, the music in the background. Was the "scratchy noises" deliberately added? I thought I had audio problems!

Beyond The Lava by agmcleod 2012-08-27T22:50:00

Installation is such a pain. :(

Operation Tek by JakeAnstey 2012-08-27T22:52:00

Download links are broken.

Space Sheep: Cyber-Genetic Wariors by EARink0 2012-08-27T23:00:00

Really nothing new in terms of gameplay. Although, I do like the idea of shooting "bullets" with "bullets" so that would eliminate the swarm of shooting bullets.

Flower Farmer by HomicidalChris 2012-08-30T20:44:00

I do have some difficult trying to read the descriptions since my screen is only 1024x768 wide. There are also text overlapping other text, making them harder to read.
I'm not sure if I'm playing this right, but I was watering all of the plants everyday. I wonder if that could be a bad thing. If so, then that's a good challenge; but you really need to make watering easy because just clicking each one is too tedious.
I do like the idea, but more could be added to add challenge; such as over-watering could make them smell bad, bad smell attract bugs, bugs eat flowers, and so on. I know nothing about flowers, so I couldn't give out more realistic ideas heh.

Dungeon Thingy (Unfinished) by JosephLittle 2012-09-17T01:35:00

This kind of game is not really new compared to other rogue-like games. Actually, I think all rogue-like games are like that. :p
Anyhow, it's a shame that you couldn't add more, but your game was nice to play for a while.

Mutate? Exterminate! by warheart 2012-09-07T22:04:00

The game does get too chaotic after 1/2 minute or so. I would have enjoyed the game better if it weren't for the confusing control mechanic. I would like to aim to where my mouse cursor is at as I move and shoot. Instead, the cannon seems to only turn when I move the mouse; which happens to feel awkward. One more thing: Why no autofire?? :(
The game does have what it takes to make it fun to play, but the controls needs to be more fluid and tight. Oh, and bonus points for humor on the "sexual reproduction."

IO VUOLE ZEN by Capro 2012-08-28T00:24:00

You forgot to program the left button in one of your games... or didn't you? Lots of variety in this game, and that's a good thing. A little difficult, but manageable. At least... according to me, I did complete it. Whoohoo!

Build that tower! by surpy 2012-08-30T21:01:00

It's a little confusing to play this game at first and I can't quite figure out why you need to "build" a lumberjack or "builder".
It does take a few tries to get the idea in full. The costs of something should had been more clearer to be honest.

Worm by Imosa 2012-09-12T03:16:00

Unfortunately, I really don't understand the game. :( This is one of those games where a tutorial would definitely show how to play the game properly. However, I do say there are some logic to this game, but again, it is hard to see that.

Lab (R)Evolution by JacksGamesSucks 2012-09-17T01:08:00

I like how the maze changes from time to time. Thankfully, when I get impatient, I can just tear down the walls with the space bar; but that would make the game too easy. A limit of how many times you could break the wall would be idea.
Good thing you have enemies in this game, but they need to be a bit tougher. Maybe allow them to break through walls as well when they go against a wall for a few seconds?
Good game overall!

Just a Theory by jurnacsr 2012-09-14T21:24:00

I do find going back and forth a bit tedious, thus diminishing the fun factor considerably. I like how the game gets progressively difficult after collecting more notes. Also, I dig a few humor after collecting those notes.

evolutionalpha by kerm1t2 2012-09-14T21:02:00

Hmm... can you explain how you play this game? I can move, shoot, and take control of the creature that I hit, but I don't see the concept.

Kitten Evolution by triplefox 2012-09-14T21:14:00

I'm only going to rate based on your actual level design. After playing several custom ZZT levels, this is incredibly basic at best. Sure, there are some unique interactions such as the gate, catching butterflies, and knocking over plants (I think), but they are not enough to make this stand alone.
Meanwhile, I'm looking VERY HARD to find something relating to evolution. While I found the texts saying "you are a kitten" to "you are a tiger", I find that rather effortless.

Just to clear things out, I do like to see ZZT levels, but the levels needs to be A LOT more unique.

Only The Fittest Shall Survive by Tom Leonardsson 2012-09-14T21:29:00

Nice try, keep up the good work.

Megavolve by mokesmoe 2012-09-18T00:26:00

I sort of get the evolution theme: the guns power up then you move to the next level. Obviously the game is influenced by Megaman, which is not bad IMO. I would like to see new things through and the powering up the gun doesn't seem new to me. Still a good game to play.

Cell War by ra4king 2012-09-12T03:23:00

Nice concept none of the less.

LudumDareEvolution by Killerbee 2012-08-30T00:15:00

Fun game, but I had to open this window up so I could find what keys does what. So, a little bit of a learning curve for controls. I like the idea to go back levels so you could power up.

Homo Vermes by madflame991 2012-08-31T02:49:00

Fun game, but it's a bit buggy. There are pieces that suppose to fit but inadvertently turned into a block.

EvoBlob by Tritax 2012-09-12T02:50:00

Niiice! Great idea to turn your blob into anything it "touches." Okay, the blob eats them, so I won't feel to sympathetic.
In addition, that's awesome that the whole family pitched in towards developing the game.

Universe Exploder by Chaoslab 2012-08-30T21:07:00

The window's too big for my screen. I'm using 1024x768

Land of Piiu by kampfdengel 2012-09-12T03:00:00

The fun drains way after playing the game for the few minutes as the repetitiveness pursued. The enemies don't appear that often and the scrolling seems to be too slow for me.

ReConstitution Hill by ProjectX 2012-09-14T20:58:00

While I really like the idea for moving around on the map, this game was hard to have fun for one reason: the game's camera view. The camera really hates me. When I'm shooting, it tends to say "eff you, I'm turning this way so I can make you mad!" Controls are okay, but I find it awkward to hold down shift while I move with WASD. I kind of wished the bullets were a bit more lethal.

RPS Evolution by TentacleNoises 2012-09-14T21:41:00

I really think this uses the rock-paper-scissors format; except you have colors. I find this game enjoyable after learning how to play. VERY trippy colors I may add!

Robot Build Fight! by Finn Stokes 2012-08-31T04:40:00

Cool idea. It's just that it's confusing and it could have been better represented. I keep on forgetting what's input/output and which robot is me. :/

Glider Drop by tomhunt 2012-09-12T04:23:00

I like the challenge on keeping the blocks populated. What I feared on for this game is what happens next after I get the maximum score. Would I play it again after that? Maybe not, so it would be ideal to think of some more challenges while keeping the game's original concept.

While it will going to take me some time to learn some strategy on reproducing the red blocks, I'm hoping for tutorials to teach me the basics in the future.

The Evolution of Cthulhu by WookooUK 2012-09-04T03:04:00

Nothing new toward concept. At least the game is enjoyable after the first time playing. Was this game supposed to have online players?

Selective Breeding by h.attila 2012-08-30T21:10:00

Me too. I already got .NET 4 and XNA 4 and the game still isn't running.

Selective Breeding by h.attila 2012-09-04T03:16:00

Ok cool. I got the game running now. Leveling up your organisms is a bit confusing, so I just play by chance and just breed them when I feel like it. I'm too busy to learn right now, heh.
Oh yeah, thank you for adding more gene details when hovering over them.

Dinolution by The Evil Cult 2012-09-18T00:42:00

The controls should be a bit more responsive, but this is a very nice game to say the least!

Parthenogenesis by kakuremino 2012-09-18T00:55:00

The food is a bit of a pain to get since it tends to speed up as it gets near me. :/
Nice idea for the game however.

LD27 — 10 Seconds

Rollout by 16Skittles 2013-08-26T02:52:00

This game can do well without the 10 second time limit. Although, it never hurts to use the time limit in general for bonus points (if you ever add scoring.)
I like the concept very much, but it could do very well without the time limit.

10 Seconds to Self Destruct by gritfish 2013-08-26T02:29:00

The wall jumping feature slowed me down a bit, but it's manageable. Nice work!

Universe Decade Tycoon by Evilion 2013-08-26T02:38:00

Sort of mind-boggling of managing more than one worlds, not a bad thing. Although, the fun of managing the world does wear thin after awhile.

I really like the colorful art and style of each world however.

The Thief Stealer Robberies by jwolf 2013-08-28T04:32:00

A timer would actually be nice so I would know how the heck did I die from. It does get irritating to figure out how I died. Still a decent game with some interesting quirks.

Palette by Fejuto 2013-08-26T03:10:00

Very colorful! I take it when the screen turns white means my 10 seconds are up.

NodeNetOS by Zathalos 2013-08-29T06:05:00

I'm having problems understanding the game. Somehow, I can complete a round but I couldn't understand why.

10 Sec And Slash by NostraDamon 2013-09-04T04:28:00

My only gripe is the character explaining things. That is until I realized I can press a number key to skip.
Very good work with the game!

SliP by Sakuyan 2013-08-27T04:50:00

The hit-detection is a bit strict when I try to possess a creature, which makes it too challenging. I like the idea of the game, but it's making my decision on how this game fits the theme very difficult.

untitled no.10 (seconds) by Cosr 2013-09-09T01:52:00

Very simple, yet interesting! I would like to see what the timer is at after someone struck.

SoulReaver by CarmineGames 2013-09-04T03:03:00

Definitely like Gauntlet with a few changes. Ideally, the 10 second timer. The timer adds more difficulty to the game, but it's not too bad.

TimeFlex by jprogman 2013-08-29T19:49:00

@killerstarbunny It's not a bug to me, here's why:
The player gets the advantage of getting over the exit regardless of getting hit by the blue monster. One example would be when you are just next to the exit and a monster is one space diagonally away from you. One move from you would obviously get you killed.

TimeFlex by jprogman 2013-08-29T21:19:00

@delca No, that's a bug. I got myself confused with naming variables and ended up changing one thing instead of the other things. So, it was mistakenly made easier instead of harder lol.

TimeFlex by jprogman 2013-09-11T04:54:00

Thank you very much for your time playing and commenting my game :)

Clocked In by rylgh 2013-08-27T04:01:00

Nice one! I find it too easy to stick near the middle for the rest of the game. I can just stick near the middle and break through the bubbles. Ideally, there should be more densely-packed bubbles in the middle. Otherwise, well done!

The Life Countdown by Toms 2013-08-30T05:38:00

I wish this game has more content as it got tedious after level 10. Otherwise, you got yourself a good platform engine and nice level generation. It just needs more stuff.

MatchiMatchi by Jesper Oskarsson 2013-08-27T04:22:00

Too much jingling when the points increase!
I found out the 10 seconds after awhile, but I don't get why I lose when the chain reactions last more than 10 seconds.
I'll cut some slack of copying Bejeweled because you have added one element that removes any matching presents surrounding the 3-matched presents.

GYAH by RedHot 2013-09-09T18:10:00

I'm not sure if the 10 second time limit is working for me. I was deliberately waiting 10 seconds so see if I lose. I didn't, even when I reach the exit.
I really like the concept, very different yet fun. Although, a restart button would "really" be handy since the rope often tangles up through small openings.

The Unbelievable Adventures of Kamil the Cat by blackcode 2013-09-04T04:03:00

Meow. Nicely done.

The Chaos Sisters by dark_hunter 2013-09-09T02:14:00

I'm no fan of large resolutions because my monitor can only go to 1024x768. I can still play it, but the buttons are a bit of a pain to work with. (XNA-related issue I believe.)

Unfortunately, I'm having troubles seeing how this fit the 10 seconds theme. Unless the enemies attack every 10 seconds?

Ten Seconds by Yacodo 2013-08-28T04:49:00

Cool game!

TENSEC by bombjack 2013-09-09T19:16:00

I don't get how this game doesn't support my browser. I'm using Firefox 23.0.1 on Windows 8.

Haraka by gikdew 2013-08-27T04:33:00

The wall jumping portion is too difficult for me to pass, so I quit. Just a word of caution: it's very important to have good, responsive controls in games pressured for time. The game does lag a bit when the music loops, which messes the controlling a bit. The wall jumping part really needs to be easier because I can't find how to pass that.

Haraka by gikdew 2013-08-27T04:34:00

I forgot to mention: nice work on the game!

Ab Solanum by doonay21 2013-08-28T04:10:00

I often get killed by the cameras. :( Wish I could destroy those cameras...

Parts Bot (Factory Worker) by bobleny 2013-08-27T06:00:00

Very interesting. It took me awhile to get the hang of the game, but I'm still trying to understand how the conveyors work. I assume when you take full damage, you lose a life. I'm not sure if that's true.
Works in Firefox.

Nailcastle by Aifryz 2013-08-29T21:16:00

Not a bad idea! I like the timer to act just like your health. If the timer hits 10 seconds or if you have zero HP, you have to restart the level.

Thief Escape by psc1997 2013-09-09T19:13:00

This puzzle is more of a sliding puzzle than a jigsaw puzzle. Interesting idea in general, but more work needs to be done.

Somehow, the map tiles doesn't really connect to each other and I still end up winning. Some map tiles were a little out of place to really see the black lines connect each other. Still, I like the idea to align the map tiles to get from start to finish.

The controls and button pressing obviously needs work as the sliding is buggy. Hope those things get fixed up when the game's development continues.

Animations are good, but the running animation needs to be quicker.

Just a tad difficult.

Oops!!! v0.5alpha by Blue Steel 2013-09-09T18:26:00

I like how the graphics really mimics an old DOS game using only the ASCII characters. Kind of think of this, this game should be made as a DOS game for it's simplicity.
I could sort of see how this game is going: you have to time yourself to place the block at the right moment without matching colors. Interesting, although the time it takes for the block to move to the top is too slow; so time very often goes in the negative.

Zero Gravity Free Runner release :D by Soundless_dev 2013-08-27T05:34:00

What program did you use to make your game? I asked because I couldn't get the game to open. When I try to open, nothing happens. No error messages.
I'm using Windows 8 64bit.

Zero Gravity Free Runner release :D by Soundless_dev 2013-08-28T04:01:00

Ok, got it working. Turns out that I haven't got XNA installed. Confusing since I'm constantly switching between two computers heh.
As for the game, I like it! I think you got something there: a nice fast-paced anti-gravity platformer.

Lion Racing by TammiLion 2013-09-09T17:55:00

I jumped a bit when I hear the roar at the beginning of the game because I had my speakers maxed out. Heh. I'm just a bit concerned that I have to be quick with the training since I only have 10 seconds in real time. Not saying that's a bad thing because it does add a little challenge. Nice work!

Super Puzzle Run by Blecta 2013-09-09T18:56:00

The timer should be paused at the start of each level. This is so I have free time to observe the field without having to jump the gun at the start. Some levels have no room for error, so I had to be very careful of my controls. Some levels are frustrating, but the challenge is manageable after several tries. I like the NES-like atmosphere.

Ten Second Dungeon by Jimanzium 2013-08-27T23:06:00

Quite fun while it lasts. It's challenging to stay alive for more than 10 seconds.

Ten Seconds Assasin by redo 2013-08-29T06:22:00

Great fighting game! I'm amazed on the animation of the assassins.

Just a suggestion about your download: try renaming it from "Windows" to "Flash SWF" so you could get more players to download it. This is so everyone will know that it will work on any PCs different than Windows.

<<Rewind! by NIGIC 2013-09-10T01:20:00

Very nice game with the time control!
Ideally, if I get caught, the timer shouldn't automatically set to zero as I want to rewind a bit.
I'm not sure if there is any purpose for the time forward command other than add some milliseconds to the timer.

10 Second Scramble by Slymodi 2013-09-16T01:20:00

Nice "warioware" style microgames!
Killing the ninjas took more than 10 seconds as I switched from keyboard to mouse. I feared any games using the keyboard or mouse alternately would cost me time by switching. Overall, this is pretty good.

10 Seconds to Death by DJLad97 2013-09-09T21:44:00

Good thing I was able to move during the 5 second delay so I can practice a bit before I run.

Ephemeral by Delca 2013-08-29T06:51:00

At levels where I need to create blocks, I get too impatient to wait every 10 seconds for the yellow character to die and become a block. The yellow character should also become a block when it touches lava, since the character "did" die.

This is a nice quirky platforumer that has some good potential with some wrinkles needed to iron.

10TEN SECOND2NDs by stepvhen 2013-09-04T03:59:00

Those 10 second races are a nice idea to play. Button-mashing for running is alright, the canoe racing is too much.

Would have been nice to see more sports, maybe even non-racing games such as getting a better score.

Meat Game by Boneloaf 2013-08-29T06:43:00

I like the level designs.

Meat Game by Boneloaf 2013-08-29T19:52:00

I'll be honest, I'm having difficulty playing the game, even in one player. I very often get myself trapped and then shoved off the board. I don't know how to pick up the meat if I am even allowed to do that. Nice concept, but needs a little more work.

The Adventures of Lars by Dan 2013-08-29T21:27:00

I like the variety that this game have, even if I chuckled at the two spoofs. :)

Escape by CodeHat 2013-09-04T03:52:00

The firing need to be more responsive, especially when I'm being ambushed by many enemies!
Otherwise, good work on the game!

10 Second Paths by laserbeam 2013-09-10T00:52:00

Pretty cool game!
This game is a little difficult to get the bombs to their right side in time, making it easy to lose a life. Getting the bombs at the wrong side is ideal to lose a life. Losing a life when the bomb explodes after 10 seconds should be a little more forgiving somehow. Maybe if the right colored bomb exploding near the correct edge of the board, no life is lost? Just one suggestion, but I'm sure you'll think of some great ideas!

Chrono Blood Ninja by theholychicken 2013-09-09T21:16:00

Pretty intense stuff you got there!

Color Maze by TnT 2013-09-10T02:09:00

There should be a way for the next color to be one of the colors that you are next to instead of randomly selecting any color.
I really like the concept.

10 Seconds Before the World Ends by Lustdante 2013-08-27T22:46:00

Nice using the 4th dimension. I like how other scenes are updating as time passes. Great stuff!

Mashals of Knaveland by Jorqell 2013-09-09T01:46:00

Feels just like an old DOS game. (If it is a DOS game, forgive me.) Only problem is the time. 10 seconds to complete the level is a little short. I have to move instantaneously to the armor without looking around for enemies.
Otherwise, nice work!

Zdeno by duane.byer 2013-08-27T05:29:00

For some reason, I find dying too quickly funny in this game! I know there is some strategy involved for getting a good ending, but I haven't figured it out yet.

Happy Edii by HoWseR 2013-08-29T07:16:00

Some levels were hard until I realized I could press SPACE to freeze time for a few seconds. Nice work on the game!

10 seconds to Disaster by Senevri 2013-08-26T03:19:00

I'm having problems running the game. When I try to open it, I get a message saying it stopped working. I got XNA Distributable installed, do I need something else too?

My computer: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

10 seconds to Disaster by Senevri 2013-08-28T03:48:00

Ok, tried it on Windows 8 64-bit and it's working. Still needed XNA Redistributable.
I like how you have to negate through a maze to investigate areas where there could be enemies. Of course, some of the enemies just go towards me, heh.

Angry Guards by Diptoman 2013-09-04T03:17:00

It took some time to get the idea of the game with a lot of text to read. Very good work! Love the music!

Kitty Force 10 by Raiyumi 2013-09-09T19:26:00

At the part with those thin platforms, when I was under it and then jumped through it from beneath, I thought I was going to be on the platform by the look of the animation. I wasn't, so getting on those thin platforms are a bit of a challenge.

Hellish Copter by Laelien 2013-09-09T21:32:00

Maybe it's just my computer is to blame, but there's a delay between the game over screen and the start of a level. I didn't know what key to press to get out of that screen, but the UP button seems to work.
Still a nice game you got there!

Polarity Countdown by Mental Atrophy 2013-09-10T01:29:00

I find one level with the three switches a bit hard to understand. The switches do work, but I couldn't figure out what blocks were switched on.

I could be too tired to think. Maybe. Heh. Very good game!

Cloksion by DavidBittner 2013-09-09T02:06:00

To my curious mind, I wonder why the red character cannot break brown blocks. I believe there's a reason once this game gets developed further.
Some levels were a bit difficult as there is no room for errors in movement.
The game has something there that's awesome, just get the control working fluidly. :)

Summer Death Olympics by bufbot 2013-09-09T23:08:00

The controls seems to become unresponsive as I continue to play the game. I'm not sure if that's just me. Nice little concept you got.

Timing is Everything by Animated 2013-08-27T03:01:00

I'm having troubles getting the game to run. I'm not really sharp at working with java applications.

Timing is Everything by Animated 2013-08-27T03:18:00

Ok, I've got it to run, but I have no idea how the game is played. At the first level, I only got a green ship with a yellow symbol. I'm not sure if that is what the level suppose to be, but the exit is unreachable.

Timing is Everything by Animated 2013-08-27T03:29:00

Ok, sorry for my third post. After looking at the instructions more carefully, I need to hold SHIFT to move two spaces. It wasn't too clear for me to see.
I won't be too picky with bugs, like when the game could only save one previous movement. Otherwise, nice concept!

10 Seconds In 10 Seconds by Jishenaz 2013-08-26T04:42:00

The driving is slippery. Although, I got a tick of rapid firing the enemy ship, heh.

Flash of Light by apaneske 2013-09-09T21:51:00

Controls are okay, but it should allow me to move when I'm touching the walls. This would make it easier to get through tiny wall openings.
It's good that the game continues when your battery runs out, but there should be some sort of checkpoint where you can go back to there with a full charged battery.
I was playing in Normal Level.

Ship Escape by pcmccull 2013-08-28T04:54:00

Great idea for controlling! Ideally, the water should rise only when I move the character, not by holding my mouse button down. Just a suggestion though, the game's good none-of-the-less!

Dionysus by Back to Browse Entries 2013-09-09T18:30:00

By the way, this is actually a Flash file after I found it in .\Template\bin\Dionysus.swf . Because it is a flash file, you should rename the download name from "Windows" to "Flash .SWF" because Flash files can be opened in other operating systems other than Windows.

Dionysus by Back to Browse Entries 2013-09-09T18:40:00

Very interesting to judge the timer by the length of the song. Although, (and this is just me,) I have to learn how the music goes before I get the idea when the change is coming up. That concept is very interesting.

I find some parts of the level too short for 10 seconds as I very often have to wait about 5 seconds or more for the change to happen. Otherwise, I think you got something good going there!

One more suggestion: I would like to know what blocks are set to disappear since you have blocks at are about to appear.

The 10 Second Never Ending Free Throw Shooting 10 Point Game by sirerr 2013-08-27T23:49:00

The controls are a bit awkward. Ideally, it should be just the keyboard where I can move and shoot. It would be nice to see any details to where I'm aiming from and how much power I'm putting on my throws.

I'll give you credit for adding good basketball physics in the game.

Network Intrusion by vulpineblazeyt 2013-08-27T05:11:00

I can't see how this fits the theme of 10 seconds. Is there a time limit for how quick I need to win? I like the concept of painting different colors to capture different areas of the screen. BUT, the game is much too easy to win as I could just click a path to the targets.

MultiPaint by Mr. Wonko 2013-08-29T21:05:00

The idea of a public art board is alright, but requires a lot of work to keep people playing again and again.

Weird thought when I was playing this: drawing with a spray paint tool with more colors. This makes the game more of an online public graffiti art board. Might not be cool to some, but it's legal. :)

Every Ten Seconds A Kitten Drowns by matthias_zarzecki 2013-08-29T07:04:00

The spawning could use some work. I often get kitties spawn inside the mines. I'm not sure if this has happened to me, but I hope I don't get kitties or mines to spawn right at my ship.

Very solid game though.

10X10 by triplefox 2013-08-29T20:17:00

You should allow the ball to bounce instead of dying when you hit the wall, considering the controls are too sensitive to operate.
I love the art style byte.

Mild Cardwang by sketchyjeremy 2013-08-29T20:07:00

I like it! It's like gin rummy but in a very quick and solitary way. Judging by a number of duplicated cards, my guess is you were using 2 standard deck of cards, using only 2 through 9s.

One suggestion: I would like to see what would have been the highest possible score after each round so I would know I have made the best hand possible.

I got used with the controls after a few tries.

The Lonely Sentry by namrog84 2013-09-09T20:01:00

I had to mute the game halfway through because the jetpack sound was stuck on a loop.

Nice work with the game!

Coin Collecter by nitrocrime 2013-08-27T23:20:00

Good thing you have added different kinds of coins add more depth into the game. I was able to play it all the way toward the end.

Rogue Descent by jonnopon3000 2013-09-04T02:41:00

Just for the record, what version of Java did you use when creating the game?
As for the game, I don't see it fit the theme. I know it has a 10 second limit at the upgrade screen, but that's sort of too easy to get away with.
Game-play: I like. Nice various tasks to complete to go to next level. The upgrades are a nice touch, although I couldn't get it to work. (It instantly says I ran out of time.)

10 Sec Hero by StabAlarash 2013-08-29T20:33:00

Nice game! Very interesting indeed. Just a few pointers:

The potion is a bit buggy since it doesn't reappear once I restart the quest. If you are making that a one-time use only, have it invisible when I used it. Although, it's more ideal to have the potion back when you are restarting the quest.

For controls, I should be able to hold down a key so I can continuously attack instead of rapidly pressing the attack key. Considering this is a turn-based battle, this idea would work.

Good job on the game!

10 Seconds of Gas by tordre 2013-08-27T23:30:00

The asteroids are a bit hard to see since they are blended by the stars and the black background.
Took me awhile to see how this game fits the theme: start with 10 seconds, get 10 seconds per item collected.

Swan Song by Jase 2013-08-27T23:40:00

I'm not well with extreme window sizes. The game is too large to fit on my screen so I'll be missing important things.

I could see you were trying to add more combat with enemies, which is cool. I find it frustrating to get myself hit once (i think) to die.

ten seconds by My Milked Eek 2013-09-04T02:50:00

I have lost patience during the transitions intro instructions. The fade ins is too slow. :(

I understand the theme somewhat: Select 10 actions, and execute each action every second. I like the concept, but it needs more work rather than having to kill/avoid enemies.

Lead to Live by Herman Groenenboom 2013-08-27T04:58:00

Adding random level portions is a nice take. I almost thought the timer was not working at the beginning until I realized it was a tutorial. Nice work on the game!

Programming Failure by Niavlys 2013-08-28T19:26:00

The game is working fine now, thanks!
I'll ignore the bugs because those could always be fixed if you decide to continue with this project pass the compo.
I could see some good ideas for getting or staying in the safe zone. One would be to shove any objects out of your way in the safe zone or trying to stay in inside a moving safe zone. Just suggestions, but you got something good there to start.

Lab of Broken Time by Kaslai 2013-08-29T20:52:00

Spirit of the Maze Journey by kulhajs 2013-08-27T23:26:00

LD28 — You Only Get One

.one. by Macroz 2014-01-01T21:13:00

It would have been nice to have instructions on how to play this game. Eventually, I think I got the idea. This plays like "Minesweeper." You click squares to find the pink squares that surround a secret red square which you DO NOT click. There are also light blue tiles that surround blue tiles. The blue tiles (imo) just resets the current level. I guess that's there to make life difficult.

Nice "Minesweeper" like game, but it needs more stuff to keep the fun. Another thing, find a way to keep the red square from being the only block at the beginning of each round.

Hitotsu - Last of the Dragon Keepers by Ryusui 2013-12-30T04:13:00

Nice Shoot'em up that isn't space related! This really reminds me like King's Knight for the NES. In fact, this is hard like a NES game, heh.

Super Rashomon RPG by Tyro 2013-12-29T02:28:00

Heheh, funny that I can play as a couple of enemies. Very nice work!

Soup Kitchen by hardycore 2013-12-30T04:39:00

The part where I dropped the soup made me chuckle a bit. :)
The third round has too many small passages that I had to move ultra-light so I don't collide.

Save One For The Kids by SonnyBone 2013-12-29T02:02:00

I can relate this game to skewering a shish kabob, lol. It's a nice little game, but it loses the fun after a few stages.

FowL Play by Sakuyan 2013-12-18T03:51:00

A chicken with a gun? Genius!

Just One Shot by alexgator 2013-12-30T04:58:00

This is mini golf without the golf graphics. It's nothing new, but I like the hazards and goals.

It's a pain to restart the whole game when I get the ball in the lava or when the ball never gets to the goal. There should be a way to abort the shot midway and try again, but not start the game from the beginning.

Space Worm by rolfeth 2014-01-04T01:07:00

I got the game working, but I wish the camera movement slows down a lot. I like the idea of changing views to get the snake (I believe) to the blue finish line. Unfortunately, the controls for moving the snake are not friendly and I cannot get the camera set as it updates too fast. Nice try though.

I'm using Windows 8.1 64bit.

Gasha-power by jprogman 2013-12-16T23:29:00

Thanks for the comments so far! The graphics do have some resemblance to a Kirby game, but that wasn't my intention. I was intending to make a old-school platformer reminiscent of a typical NES game.

Gasha-power by jprogman 2013-12-17T18:49:00

Lol, I noticed the name switch too after the deadline... boomerang <---> star beam

Gasha-power by jprogman 2013-12-21T01:29:00

It is rather difficult to come up with something original for a platform game within 48 hours. More enemies and power-up would probably add more punch, but that would take beyond 48 hours in my case.

Gasha-power by jprogman 2013-12-30T05:38:00

I might consider develop this game further. Follow me on twitter for the latest!

Gasha-power by jprogman 2014-01-08T23:10:00

Thanks all for your feedback! :)

@GFM -- non-offensive actions are meant to be unessential to complete the game. Of course more planning during development is needed.

@Cake&Code -- The first version is laggy! Version 3 is more "leaner," but not totally flawless. Give the third version a try, but I'm glad to hear the downloadable Windows version working well.

Tropic Warrior by blackmagic 2013-12-25T07:28:00

Such a shame that I have a weak weapon compare to the enemies' weapon. Is there any power-ups that would otherwise give me stronger weapons? Decent game overall.

VisiOne by ThatGuy 2013-12-18T03:03:00

You got a great concept there! I didn't get the idea of playing after a minute of trying, but I got the hang of it.

BUTTERSLIDE by Mnemusyne 2013-12-21T02:08:00

I did see the theme at least. Very cute game with the lil' toast! Nice work!
Now, I want toast.

The Only One by halemaster 2014-01-04T01:17:00

When I open the spells inventory, all the text turned white including the ones on the white background. Therefore, some text had disappeared.

Rune Raider by nyytroh 2013-12-20T20:26:00

Very nice game. The idea is so unique and fun.
I'm not sure that the goal is supposed to be. I'm guessing either to collect everything or to get out. Doesn't seem to be a goal at all, but again I like the concept.

COR by ENDESGA 2013-12-17T01:05:00

I like the challenge of moving anywhere but left. Although, you can move left, but the screen does not. Reminds me of old-school Super Mario Bros.

Nice art and mood.

You Only Get One Chance by madballneek 2013-12-25T08:45:00

That's not very nice to lock itself after it is played once, considering that I got stuck at one part. So I had no choice but to restart. That's unfortunate because I couldn't play the game in full. So, I cannot rate.

Colorblind by Bernhard 2014-01-02T05:23:00

It's the good thing the screen rotates when you steer your vehicle or I would had have a frustrating time with the controls. All's good. Nice work!

Byte's Socks by drkrunk 2013-12-25T07:41:00

Very nice game. I don't know why a robot wears socks but that doesn't matter. I love the graphics and the "atmosphere."

A piece of food by wilpel 2014-01-01T22:05:00

The movement should be a bit slower as it is really difficult to get on a single block... and there are many levels where I need to long jump on those blocks!

There's Only One St. Nick by Static 64 2014-01-01T21:42:00

Very nice work on the fun game! I like how I can shake the punching bag and the tree. :)

The Last Draw by tnerb 2014-01-01T22:17:00

Tons of energy in this game!

UniSwarm by ChaseC 2013-12-16T23:22:00

I couldn't understand the motive, but I do love the concept. Nice work!

One Pickup One Spell - LD28 by ocirne23 2014-01-03T03:16:00

I like how the lighting helped me know when an enemy is near by. Pretty intense gameplay too.

The Game of Fun by stvr 2013-12-30T05:08:00

Lol, the sound effects are very funny! Really made my day. :)
The jumping is a bit unresponsive.

You Only Have One Key by Clayblob 2014-01-04T01:23:00

Heh, interesting, yet funny, on how you control. Press and hold an arrow key to move right and double-press a key to jump. A little awkward, but adaptable.

Bugz by Grafter 2014-01-01T22:23:00

The sound effects are hilarious! The voice work along with the high-pitched bullet shots made me laugh out loud!

ONE SHOT by JoĂŁo Kucera 2013-12-25T08:27:00

Nice 3D animation!

Unibrow by ViliX64 2013-12-30T05:35:00

Neat homage to Super Paper Mario!

Lobo by BluMist 2013-12-29T01:50:00

The window resolution isn't friendly on my computer. I'm using 1024x768, but the game is 1,032px x 1,056px. I don't get why the vertical is longer than the horizontal, but I'm not against that idea in general. I am, however, against the size of the screen to fit the game inside.

Reflector by Nebris 2014-01-04T01:39:00

I'm not too fond with the moving reflectors. Although, I conquered them. Still, would had been nice to add more thinking elements than timing. Nice work overall.

The One Fork Restaurant by drludos 2013-12-25T09:17:00

Plays just like a Game & Watch handheld. Very nice work!

Lost in Universe by Doubstract 2013-12-17T01:37:00

Interesting concept of turning a classic arcade game "Asteroid" and turn it into an adventure. However, it's annoying that I lose health when I'm shopping and even when I'm not doing anything. Does high temperatures make me lose health?

Hamlet by derdragon 2013-12-25T03:00:00

I screw up so much. It's very funny! Good work

Golf Quest by rojo 2013-12-25T03:12:00

While I like the whole idea of making a standard Golf game into a fantasy adventure, I find the game too frustrating very quickly. One mistake would have you spend too much time trying to get back to where you were.
One suggestion would be to add checkpoints or make some parts of the course one-way. If you find a way to work out the difficulty to make the game more funner, you may have a more decent project.

You only get one! (match) by Fenixin 2014-01-03T03:25:00

I'm a little concerned on the flying enemies. If they fly to random spots, I might get unlucky and have them keep guarding the fireworks until I ran out of time. I'm not sure if the enemies move randomly or not. Nice retro arcade game overall! It just need some further polishing and tweaking.

Gem breaker 28 by rezil 2013-12-29T01:40:00

Very nice concept, but the fun only last after so much hammering. One suggestion is to implement a combo system. Maybe destroying one colored block would destroy the other same-colored blocks that are touching that block? Or maybe add different sized blocks that take more hits to destroy them? You got something going there!

Only one chance at one way out by Gerben Limburg 2014-01-02T21:19:00

This is a nice game for using the keyboard. One suggestion would be to track errors instead of ending the game when you mistype.

You Only Get One Dollar! by VideahGams 2013-12-18T03:45:00

Very funny. Finding $10 under the rug? I wish that happens to me. :D

You only get one happy little life by lorniebear 2013-12-25T02:40:00

Such a cute game. Nice work! Just a little hard for me to play at later levels. Still, nice work overall.

Too Many Clones by bw 2013-12-29T03:20:00

Nice work!

Although, it took me awhile to get the hang of the controls. It's a little annoying when one clone is against the wall, you cannot move the other clones. I suppose that's like that to add more strategy instead of "grouping" them in one spot.

Jump Chip by arkeus 2013-12-18T03:24:00

Nice game, but I get disoriented in later levels, splitting my brain heh. Definitely need good coordination to successfully play this game. Still a good challenge though.

Shopping Madness by Mago 2013-12-29T02:09:00

The enemies are moving a bit too fast that I can't see the objects they are carrying. Also, the objects seem to disappear when I knock it off the enemy's head.

Minute Maze by WiggleWorm513 2013-12-29T01:55:00

My thought about the camera is the same. Nice maze game. Although, I'm having troubles seeing the theme.

Midnight Memories by chameco 2013-12-30T04:32:00

Very unique game. I couldn't get passed the first round after a while because the difficulty is pretty high.

One Button Racer by badlydrawnrod 2013-12-29T01:24:00

I like it! It would had been nice to freely move up or down a lane instead of having to wait until a certain direction was set. Just working with one button isn't that friendly. Another button would make it more funner!

Christmas Cookie Craze by UndergroundPixel 2013-12-18T06:26:00

This has a nice arcade-feel to it. Nice work!

Batteries Not Included by Photon 2013-12-21T06:58:00

Very smart game you got there!

LD30 — Connected Worlds

Connecting LD30 to the Real World by Will Edwards 2014-08-28T05:30:00

Very interesting! Doesn't work on Firefox, but it's working on IE.

Connected Cultures by Mapboy 2014-08-30T06:15:00

This game is smooth and well-structured. Although the fetch quests got a bit tedious, there were only a handful and I got through them okay. Hope there will be more to it if you decide to build more into it. :)

DOX30 by WebFreak001 2014-08-28T06:21:00

The controls are a little stiff, much like NES games. I got used to it, but the jumping is too low to get on the first platform. That is until I switched dimensions to get through and then on it. The more appropriate way to get on a platform is by jumping over and on it instead.

It's a decent game with a decent idea, just it needs some work.

Planetary Replan by handCraftedRadio 2014-09-08T21:31:00

I couldn't get another player, but I like the concept. I sort of got the idea for how the game is played, but I need to keep trying it and learn. Pretty nice work you got there.

A Galaxy United by MarekkPie 2014-09-09T18:34:00

There seem to be only 6 playable worlds. The 7th one, represented by the gradient red to green bar, throws an error.
It's a nice idea, but the controls need to be more friendly. I don't like pressing both W and space to jump. :( Hopefully you can fix the bugs later on if you keep working on it. Nice work overall!

The Two-Dimensional Universe by Zathnic 2014-08-31T09:37:00

The different kinds of gravitation makes this game very enjoyable! The art and music are both great. Good job!
One suggestion: when the gravity is reversed, the left/right control should not be reversed too.
Since it's already mentioned but I'll say it anyhow: I don't like trying to land on a single block as the ball moves too fast.

Overlap by phaze0 2014-08-26T07:48:00

I think there's a bug in level 7. I got the key, but it won't unlock the door.

Overlap by phaze0 2014-08-26T08:02:00

Worse yet -- again at level 7, I believe the game crashed at the part that I did get the key. I've decided not to play anymore up to that point. It's a very interesting game, but the resolution required to play this is frustrating. Why does my screen need to go BEYOND 768 vertical pixels?
Some puzzles are just too tough for me not to use hints.

I need to mention this: I felt I've already seen a game like this before. I must have seen it on YouTube or something...

Wormings by thynnmas 2014-09-02T07:32:00

One nice suggestion: instead of clicking, I would like to hold the mouse button down to switch blocks.
Another suggestion: a pause time before the worms enter the level. This is to allow me to observe the level and plan what I need to do.
Very nice game, but I do hope you can fix the collision engine.

A Tale of Two Megacities by GAFBlizzard 2014-08-28T05:12:00

Playing the two parts concerns me. If you lose at the second part, will you restart the entire game? Granted I have finished the game, but I would have been devastated if I were to go back to part 1 after playing one part for a while. Just a word of caution.
Interesting Sim City parody with extras.

Dreamshift by AgentParsec 2014-08-26T04:22:00

Lots of ominousness, specially when stressed. Definitely adds points to mood. Although, with the game's slight difficulty, there should be a checkpoint at round 2. I get stressed to restart the entire game again. :(
Also, SHIFT key for jump isn't friendly on a Windows computer due to the "Sticky Key" feature. Just to let you know. Very nice game overall! Now, I must sleep...zzz

Five Floors, Two Worlds by Ryusui 2014-08-30T06:38:00

There's a little learning curve for how the switches work: bed locks in or out, green can only hold when you're on it.
Otherwise, very nice puzzler!

Intersection by Domantas 2014-09-09T18:48:00

It's kind of a drag to start from the beginning when you die. It has some nice puzzling elements with the help of the purple portal gimmick.

Quest of Untitled by firstbass 2014-09-10T03:10:00

I actually enjoy the graphics. Just so tiny and detailed! I like how one gets the friendly dialogue but one got the lousy dialogue.

The Lair of Maldar by dalbinblue 2014-09-10T03:39:00

Very smooth game play. It's a shame you couldn't complete it in full. Nice work anyhow!

Parallel Worlds by jprogman 2014-08-28T00:11:00

Thanks everyone for your feedback thus far! :D
If you all want, I can provide a short walkthrough of this game.

Parallel Worlds by jprogman 2014-09-09T03:37:00

Thanks again for your feedback you all! :)
I've added a walkthrough as a screenshot for your help.

split world by zeoverlord 2014-09-10T04:05:00

This is a nice idea for a puzzler. It does need more objects to keep the game fresh. Good work!

Nhelee by S0rax 2014-08-25T04:43:00

There are some tricky jumps that drove me nuts. Nice platformer anyhow. Nice work.

Split//Maze by sol_hsa 2014-09-02T08:09:00

Fun game! One suggestion to add: I like to see the green "coins" and the exit stand out more so I can see them in my peripheral vision.

Eiradirian Phasejumpers by blay09 2014-09-10T03:32:00

I could only get through the first stage. The combat is easy to understand, but difficult to win. Some weapons I couldn't understand how they work or how much damage it does. I guess it's trial and error. Nice work overall.

Your world! by Julgodis 2014-09-11T02:02:00

It gets pretty frantic! Very fun.
Great job with the controls! I can just hold the mouse button down instead of constantly clicking on each button to summon a guy.

Go for the bread by Ventura 2014-09-11T01:22:00

Lol. So bizarre to go through life and death for a piece of bread! The levels need to be carefully designed so I won't get stuck or killed instantly. (I never thought I would lose.)
The character reminds me of Alvin from "Alvin and the Chipmunks", especially with a bit of yellow on solid red.

Literally Connected Worlds by geometrix 2014-09-13T22:45:00

Cool concept. I do wish I could rotate faster, especially when the planets appears more frequently.

Prismatic by Space_man 2014-09-08T18:53:00

You should make the statues, that gather players, become checkpoints too. This is to make it far less tedious to go back to where you've died or restarted.
Great colorful twist to controlling multiple players in the same world.

AstroReception by Geti 2014-08-31T03:57:00

I really like the Lunar Lander + mining idea. Hope you'll address the map issue when you continue developing. I find myself hitting things when I go to a different screen.

Beaver CO-OP by SenorDiablo 2014-09-11T01:56:00

I'm afraid the link is dead. I cannot download.

Hello, Alien! by klianc09 2014-09-12T02:08:00

Level 16, lol, boom! The sound effects are hilarious too!

I do wish I could control the mirrors better. I find rotating them precisely rather frustrating because when I click on them to rotate, they would often rotate a good amount on their own.

Timehop by Lord bobyness 2014-08-31T05:41:00

The logic of the past and future took some getting used to, but I was able to finish the game with little effort. So there's a slight learning curve, but the game itself was well put!

CtrlShift by Jyrkface 2014-09-11T01:15:00

It has the ingredients for a great game! It's rather irritating to restart the entire round when I screw up, not to mention a tad difficult.
I can't understand why the game is over 200MB. Do you have many sound files embedded?

Hx2p by clementcent 2014-09-08T21:18:00

Two worlds with different physics is such a great idea. Keep up the good work!

One concern: I still get hurt by enemies shooting at the door when I'm opening the door. It's not a major problem, just it's something to point out.

Dance Dance Invasion by adcrusher 2014-09-11T02:13:00

Time to party!

Milkyway Tycoon by jackyjjc 2014-09-11T03:02:00

I gave this game about 10 minutes of play. Pretty solid entry! Very casual, but it does require some learning.

SPIRITS! by Hackingroelz 2014-09-11T02:35:00

I only got a black screen. Do I need a certain version of Java?

wrldDIVISION by orbitantlers 2014-09-09T02:27:00

This is a strange game, but not a bad thing at all! Although I do myself annoyed with objects obstructing the view of the ball. The physics is not perfect as the ball kept getting stuck when reaching up slopes. Maybe I need to build speed to reach up those slopes? Very nice game overall!

Hexahedron by Jon Fischer 2014-08-26T08:14:00

I don't see how I could connect with other worlds. How does that work?

Last Call For Magrathea by nintendoeats 2014-08-25T04:48:00

While the idea is straight-forward, I find myself constantly on thin ice trying to ship the goods rapidly. I haven't gotten to know how each world works and if I could do something with them. Nice voice work by the way!

Die in another world by Posva 2014-09-13T04:14:00

There needs to be a slight pause when the player dies and about to restart the level again. This is so the player has time to let go of any keys and don't end up hitting the spike near the start.

Hermes Express by jojocanard 2014-09-13T21:05:00

Funny quest. Sometimes one person or god gives more than one quests. Fun game too.
There is a bug in the Underground where if you use a speed boost and go to the left wall, you'll get stuck.

Phase Shift by otresnjak 2014-08-31T09:21:00

Interesting concept, but it mainly relies on luck. Sometimes you can clear a round with no problem, but the majority of times have rounds that felt impossible to clear. The dimension changing bit is pretty cool, but there needs to be some way to generate the levels accordingly.

FYI, it's rather unfriendly to have no way to readjust the game's window resolution, especially since it's quite higher than average. Be courteous, even for those from the 90s!

The MillionWood by frogcheese 2014-09-08T18:32:00

When I got to 5 screens, I had to call it quits because it was too disorienting for me. Hearing that there at 6 screens maximum, I would have been killed. Good game, but too challenging for me.

Dreamland by edemmester 2014-09-08T16:40:00

I couldn't get the rules of the game after trying a few times. After about like 10 attempts, I realized the concept. The "dreamland" is a bare field with tree seeds planted. Use parasols to cover areas to prevent tree growth, but the "dreamland's" field is at a different point of view. It's hard to explain the rules in words, so I would suggest a few tutorial levels so the player can get a better understanding by trying than words alone.
It's a clever puzzler, but I feel the life system isn't ideal to have. I can easily come back to where I've left off as the solution to previous levels remain intact.

Connected Worlds: Planetary Conflict by enteagd 2014-09-13T03:26:00

I find the purple planet the worst planet to play as because on how it moves differently than the other two planets. Plus, the rotation doesn't aim at the planets that often than the other planets.
Overall, while I like the idea, I felt this game relies too much on luck.

Paralella by gene-z 2014-09-12T02:19:00

I didn't realize I could change views until I played this the second time. I'm not sure if there is a goal, or a win. I see the numbers at the top left, but they do not change.
It's an interesting game -- a good one I may add, but I need some sort of sign of progress if there is an objective to win the game. Love the music!

Down Under by JALgames 2014-09-12T01:30:00

The game didn't crash for me, rather the music went mute.
Neat take on SimCity.
I've stopped getting help after I got to where I can add stone quarries, coal mines, and such. I quit after I got the privilege to add water turbines, but there's no way to add them on the map. (Was that a glitch?)

Distant Worlds by StrayCat 2014-09-10T04:20:00

Very nice job with the graphics and character design!

Robot Smuggler by DvigubaiPiktas 2014-09-12T03:07:00

I couldn't play it for so long as it became tedious to go back and forth. I've only made it to my second trip to the desert town, but that is where I quit. The conversations are funny btw, so the game has points for humor.

Planet rescue by texus 2014-09-12T01:38:00

Difficult, but not too difficult. Managed to clear the castle though, yeah!

Transfer by mystakin 2014-09-10T04:01:00

Did you use Famitracker for the chip-tune? Cause that's an awesome tune you've made!
I don't know if there's a way to restart a level. I've got trapped a couple of times and I had to refresh the browser to restart. Very solid game!

Mushroom connects by fcpfoof 2014-09-13T03:15:00

Nice maze. The part with the multiple portals are a bit agonizing, but it wasn't too punishing thankfully.

DigMine QuickFast by aroymart 2014-09-09T18:21:00

Fun little game, but I don't see how it fits the theme regardless of the little explanation at the end. I find the challenge actually decreases as you move on to the next worlds probably because the money carries over. I was hoping for more obstacles like lava, rocks, or something that'll hurt me or block my way. Very nice game overall though!

PitBall by dcampos 2014-09-13T03:37:00

I didn't realize you could press UP when you're ascending your jump to get a boost in the air. While that helped me continue on, it's rather awkward to use.
I wish I wasn't so bouncy when touching the walls; that bothers me. :( There's great potential in this game as long as you address the issues mentioned here. Nice work overall!

A Broken Mess by TheRealGreyboy 2014-09-02T07:59:00

Good work! Glad you got the installer out.

Jessie and Jack by rnlf 2014-09-02T06:43:00

I do believe the shell casings are the culprit for slowing the game down. I have a well-powered computer, but I'm afraid this game lags a bit when there are too many casings.
Very fun game otherwise. Wish there were opportunities to replenish your health. The entire presentation makes me feel like I was playing an old DOS computer game.

As for those annoying brown enemies, they look like scorpions to me. :)

JUMP! by Aborysa 2014-09-13T02:36:00

The download link is broken.

JUMP! by Aborysa 2014-09-13T15:40:00

I really wish the movement and gravity are slower because I'm really having a hard time getting on those single blocks. The game is running fast on my computer, so I don't know if the frame-rate is higher on mine. Nice work with the game though!

Boulevard of Broken Themes by Thingo Studios 2014-09-13T04:07:00

I couldn't pass level 16 where I was told to input a password with the clue "line 1 of 4." My brain went numb after a couple of minutes at that level that I have to quit.
Very fun mix of genres! Also like the music!

Clone by theCoder15 2014-09-13T03:19:00

Is there a way to download all the files in Google Drive instead of downloading each one individually? Because I refuse to download each file because I don't have much time on my hands. I hope you can ZIP them up into a .ZIP file, especially for all the necessary Windows files.

Coplanarity by awsumpwner27 2014-08-26T08:24:00

It's a nice start. You got the game playable and got the functions running well. If it wasn't pointed out already, the level designs needs to be carefully made so the teleporters or you won't get stuck in the blocks. Just a word of advice. :)

4in1 by Anti 2014-09-13T21:23:00

The no sound version only worked for me on Windows 8.1. I actually had some fun with this game. :)
I don't see how this fits the theme though. Four mini-games in one game doesn't satisfy the theme.

Rubber Slimes by JangoBrick 2014-09-09T18:40:00

Definitely hard. Those damn dead ends are an instant killer. I could only play it when I'm in a good mood, heh.

Twin star by t4u 2014-09-11T03:09:00

The controls are a little slippery and sometimes unresponsive. I got some used to it, but I had some fun with a spacy version of dodge ball with circumnavigation.

Red Universe by Ludorverr 2014-08-28T03:56:00

I find the bullets and background to move too fast that I can't focus on the bullets themselves. Dodging them is hell, pun intended. I really like the boss where you have to break through.

Woopsy Deadsy by 4sap 2014-09-13T19:08:00

I find the gravity moving too fast for me to react. There's one room where I needed to switch dimension constantly to pass spikes as I fall. There are also parts in some rooms that are harder than others in those same rooms. I'm not fond with rooms with a hard part at the start and a difficult part at the exit; I find that annoying.

Going back a room when I lost in the boss room is rather mean, especially when the previous room was difficult to pass. :(

I still like this game, but there are some unforgiving moments.

Conflicting Dimensions by Balint197 2014-09-13T18:50:00

Lovely puzzler!

RGB by orukinawa 2014-08-30T06:19:00

I really like the presentation. Simple colours, big pixels, and a single-screened action. Reminds me of any old computer games!
Very nicely done!

void by Skipi 2014-09-13T20:47:00

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to play this with more players. I like the concept, but I have no idea what the combat is like.

I had troubles trying to play single player as the instructions weren't too clear on how to build stuff. I know the controls are laid out, but I didn't know building stuff cost ores or power.

The controls are quite confusing and contra-intuitive. For instance, the right-clicking does a lot more than the left-clicking. I guess this is more designed for left-handers, but setting mouse preferences in-game is always a chore. I'm glad there is a list of controls during the game for my convenience.

Connected Words by Teesquared 2014-09-10T04:10:00

Lol, nice way to turn Twitter into a game!
"Connected Words"... I got it. :)

Two Empires by Tosic 2014-09-13T22:35:00

This game is okay for a beginner. You got it working and running is something you should pat yourself on the back.

I can't pass the second level because it's really hard to judge where to jump. The yellow thing -- I suppose it's my shield -- blocks my view at the ground.

Bullets, Enemies, Portals by Marjie62 2014-08-31T03:49:00

It's funny how I got two same kinds of enemies at the top screen, one that I can get rid of and the other that I can't. A silly double-standard I would say. Nice work!

Parallel by Adam Gould 2014-09-13T22:53:00

This is such a unique puzzler that I have ever seen. It should have more interaction if you are still working on this. Nice work!

Interstice by LukeZaz 2014-09-10T03:54:00

I found a strategy for winning the game: get crystal at lower left, then right, then upper right. Yay, win. :)

Great work with the enemy AI. The controls really needs fixing though. I feel like I'm on a sticky floor, and the jumping is a bit delayed.

Topsy Turvy Worm by JTGaming2012 2014-09-13T22:59:00

Installer? Ew.
Only a couple of levels, but it was fun while it lasted. I thought the yellow squares trigger the inverse gravity but it turns out they're there for decoration. Threw me off a bit, but nothing to be concerned about.

The Thing Between Two Worlds by Galdon 2014-09-11T03:22:00

Short and sweet and to my liking. :)
I was a bit confused on what to do at the boss as just killing the big blue thing doesn't end the fight.
However, I did win it.

Tinker Maze by belowzerogames 2014-09-08T19:28:00

Rotating pieces is a neat element to the game. But, it would have been better to hit ENTER to rotate pieces instead of holding ENTER down. The collision detection is a little spotty, but a neat game overall.

Connected Retro Worlds by yodamaster 2014-09-11T01:55:00

It's pretty easy to get pinned to the side of the screen when I'm not too careful, heheh.

To The Spirits by redwolfplayer 2014-09-11T02:28:00

I thought I've gotten the idea on how to play from the first pipe minigame, but I couldn't get passed the second minigame.
Congrats on your first entry!

Dark Planet by BOME_BELL 2014-09-11T02:44:00

I didn't bother killing enemies, I just ran like a wimp heh.
Until my second go, I didn't realized you can actually skip each room by going off the screen. Not to feel too bad because, again, I only found out on my second attempt.

Starlight by stephenhaney 2014-08-30T06:29:00

Love hearing the planets banter!

Reminisce by nikki93 2014-08-30T06:07:00

I got an error saying it's missing MSVCR120.DLL. Fortunately, I got the file online and placed it next to the EXE and it runs perfectly.

There should be a better checkpoint where I can easily restart. While it's nice to continue where I had last entered a portal, a false move after I entered a portal would be memorized. Thus, having me to restart the entire game. I like to suggest a simple check point where I can safely fall back to when I mess things up.

The game is cleverly done. Nice work!

Crossworld Club by Artamus 2014-09-13T04:19:00

Characters from different worlds... connected by items... fits the theme to me. Nice work on the fetch quest.

The Maze Of Worlds by rd127p77 2014-08-31T04:51:00

Bacon teleporter. That's good :) Nice work with your first LD entry.

Shifting by ghenoroc 2014-09-11T01:38:00

There were a few occasions where I've gotten stuck from entering a cluster of portals. The portals were interesting and how they shift from one world to another.

The Twins by Kojan 2014-09-13T18:32:00

It took some time for me to get a handle with the controls.
A lot of coordination involved, but at least there are times where I can both duck and jump simultaneously. I prefer different keys than the one already in the game to get a better sense of control because I often press the wrong key.
Great game overall!

Split Worlds by randomicons 2014-09-02T05:49:00

Wow, what a chore to download every file. Sorry, but I refuse to do that. If you want me to try your game, please put them all in a zip file and put the link to this page. Thank you.

Torn Between Worlds by CaptainCabbage 2014-08-31T09:01:00

Nice idea. I do wish the controlling more loose because I get myself caught by the walls even by a few pixels. So precision is what kept on killing me, and I did died a lot. Nice start on your game through!

Dependant by Abominas 2014-09-02T06:17:00

The game you've linked does not look like the one shown in your screenshots. I'm just getting a labyrinth full of zombies.

Dependant by Abominas 2014-09-07T11:12:00

It's a nice game, but I could only play it when I'm in a good mood. The enemies are so frustrating to kill, they even teleport right on you. WHY?!? The combat is just so awkward and I often end up facing the wrong direction. I wish the combat is more simpler.

I find the game to move too fast on my computer, which makes it difficult to handle the control.

If you could address those concerns, you might score yourself some more players.

Portal DAGger by TauOmicronMu 2014-08-31T05:08:00

It's a nice puzzler, but I got lost after taking the green or red portals. I like how the switches remain intact even when you go back to start. (I assume that's what the red portal does.) Killer music btw!

Two Worlds by Sutivu 2014-09-08T18:13:00

Second level got very tough. Beaten it. Thankfully there's only two levels because I was afraid how hard the third round is! I enjoyed the concept, although, instead of losing when I'm too far from the other world, the other world would follow my world -- like an unbreakable rubber band at its maximum stretch.

I got an error saying I'm missing file MSVCP120.dll, so I've downloaded the file and added it next to the game and the game was running fine.

Super Alien Bro by nerd burglars 2014-08-30T07:18:00

Nice game, but the part with the rave candy just got in my nerves. I didn't rage quit, but I almost did. Playing long levels without dying is just mean, especially how beautiful this game is just adds irony. It's a beautiful game, but it's misleading due to it's difficult play. I'm okay with hard games, but only when I'm in a good mood.

Phil and Charlie's Adventure by LesInk 2014-08-28T03:38:00

Glad you got this game working. It's short though, unless someone wouldn't notice the loop, heh!

Fire & Ice by Rehacked 2014-08-26T08:38:00

First part is a race to collect the most power, and the second part is tag where the loser is the tagger. It's an interesting mix. The title screen sort of got me confused on how to start the game as I thought I have to click the start button. I actually have to get the two sprites touching the play button.

Stop Waves by vxd555 2014-09-02T07:11:00

It's nice to upgrade your attributes, the game is rather slow-paced. There's a glitch that the number of enemies remain unchanged when you lose later on; which poses a risk to not complete a wave entirely.
Nice work btw, but it needs more love and fixes.

Color Wheel by Robot Souls Games 2014-08-26T06:32:00

This game definitely reminds me of "Castle of the Winds." It was difficult at first, but, after a few tries, I've won! Nice work with the retro graphics.

Color Wheel by Robot Souls Games 2014-08-26T20:52:00

I have to clarify my last comment. I meant I've won this game, not "Castle of the Winds." Sorry for the confusion. I needed more sleep.

Color Wheel by Robot Souls Games 2014-08-27T01:11:00

Yes I did. The blue sword helped me out. That and a wall, heh.

Color Wheel by Robot Souls Games 2014-08-27T01:12:00

Every boss was beaten, and the camel too; in which the blue sword and walls help me out.

Gravity by kaitokidi 2014-09-02T06:09:00

This is an interesting game. I didn't get the rules of the game at first but I know now. It isn't much of a challenge as I can move off the top of the screen. Okay, might have "some" challenge there, heh.
Nice concept after you get the idea on how to play the game.

Connected Worlds Airlines by quiore 2014-09-09T02:09:00

I had fun playing this game. Very good work!

Azuroj by Buttsteam 2014-09-13T21:59:00

I strongly suggest to allow players to customize their controls because the current layout is awkward. Using the same hand for moving and switching colors doesn't feel right. One hand should only control the movement while the other hand controls the colors and the jumps.
The platform physics really coexists with Super Mario Bros, don't cha think? :)

Transcendence of the Human Spirit by duncankeller 2014-08-26T04:02:00

When your instructions said to use A or Y, I believe you were referring to the Xbox game pad buttons, not the keyboard keys. That threw me off. I really enjoy how there's an imaginative world with a freaky Kirby look-a-like with a real world. The interaction of the two words is fantastic!

I actually got 11 out of 10 gold orbs, so I must have done extra well! :)

InterDimensional by Kinta 2014-08-26T06:52:00

Having the rooms to shuffle does have some advantages to confuse your enemies. Just make sure you tell them not to hit ENTER! Would have been nice to restart the game when the battle is over; even when I die by my own weapons.

BOLYGOK by Chaoslab 2014-08-26T04:39:00

What version of Java do I need?

BOLYGOK by Chaoslab 2014-08-26T05:11:00

Unfortunately, I couldn't get the game to start. I can hear the music, but it just opens a window with a blank white screen.

BOLYGOK by Chaoslab 2014-08-28T03:15:00

Ooh! Lots of bubbles!
I feel lost navigating through the game. Just going north, south, east and west isn't too informative and I often go the wrong way. Which is troublesome considering there are one way paths. :/ Nice game overall. Managed to finish it!

Naboka Between Worlds! by Bognet Team 2014-08-26T07:03:00

Easy game and just to the point. Correlating two different worlds adds a nice touch, but I wish there was more.
At the part with the first moveable block, I went left of the tower instead of right and I couldn't re-enter the portal. I got stuck and have to restart the game. Just something to point out.

Glass Heart Empire by Steven Colling 2014-09-13T21:42:00

Great graphics.

Dreamless by Dietrich Epp 2014-09-02T06:55:00

The actions took me a try to get the idea on what each type does. A little trial and error, but nothing too concerning.
Is there a way I could remove the actions I have just placed?

Marble Run by Homletmoo 2014-09-09T18:57:00

I'm glad the physics are tolerable unlike those real marble labyrinth toys. Those buggers are such a pain to control. I'm glad this game is well executed.

More Than a Glitch by Pavel M. DlouhĂ˝ 2014-09-02T07:38:00

Just wanna point something out: it seems pointless to have a life system when I can simply hit R to restart the level.

I only played to level 3 because that level is too hard for me. It's a good start with the concept. Keep it up!

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Decipher Quest by SiENcE 2015-04-22T23:15:00

It's a good thing you have provided the wiki of pigpen because I would have such a tough time playing.
Although, I might have been able to figure out the pigpen characters by some clues like the loading screen or from easier words like "hello" during the game.
The learning curve is actually very light after I got the hang of the pattern. The wiki was too helpful and sort of spoiled me, but I didn't have it up while I played the game.
Great challenge.

Drybreed by alvivar 2015-04-23T02:48:00

There needs to be a hint to what to do at the end. I see a flashing black box and a big hexagon. Not sure what to do.
Very interesting game. My little suggestion is having a counter to show how many blocks you have in your gun.

Noel and the Spiders by berkano 2015-04-20T05:49:00

Very funny game! I love the audio and music; which adds to the hilarity.

Bubble Trubble by Jon Reid 2015-04-22T22:49:00

The platform engine needs improving as the jumping is too awkward and sluggish. Hope it isn't too difficult to fix. Nice game though.

Dislocator by arhpositive 2015-04-29T20:41:00

I like the idea to disrupt the enemy formation in order to score points. I hope the more disrupted the formation would lead to bigger points. Nice work.

Miroir du Mort by graebor 2015-04-29T05:59:00

Very well done entirely! The game, the graphics, the music... all superb! Clever level designs with a simple objective. Most of the times the enemy just walk right into the light, which saves me some work, heh!

Yoyokidz by Noxlof 2015-04-21T01:33:00

Always love a yo-yo as a weapon. :)

Gapurin by Jan Marcano 2015-04-30T04:02:00

Good game! Short and sweet and wanting more.

Corporal Cancer by AODQ 2015-04-30T02:31:00

Difficult game. Much because the hit detection is not responsive. This is especially troublesome when the key doesn't want to unlock the door until it really touches it. That level where I have to carry the key with the nodes is horrible for that reason and the key doesn't want to regenerate sometimes. (It's nice that it resets into position if you lost it, but only works 3/4 at a time.)

I had to quit because it got too challenging. Not a good idea to have one hard part and then a harder part in a same level.

It's an interesting yet challenging game.

Stop the Goblin Army by rhill 2015-04-29T00:41:00

Interesting take on bowling. Bonus points for humor!

There's a serious glitch though: I've pulled a u-turn and landed the car in the gutter. It ends up going to the start than towards the goblin, pretty much stops the game. I like to suggest a timer to when it is time to go to the next frame.

Caves of Undalek by iamwhosiam 2015-04-21T01:23:00

Fun little ASCII explorer. Do I just move or is there a weapon somewhere? Love how each time I get a blue dot and a little bit of music plays. Although, I would prefer the air timer to tick for each step I move rather than time itself so I can plan my moves.

Ay Pinatas! by jprogman 2015-04-27T04:53:00

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for your comments!
Glad to hear that the fun factor exists on destroying pinatas.

As for the level design, it was during my last two hours to get that done. Likewise, I didn't have enough time to work on the levels in detail.

I've done a postmortem report a few days ago that covers most of your concerns. You can find it by clicking on my user name.

I'll be making a post-compo version to add what was missing -- like sound -- and add enhancements based on some suggestions.

Ay Pinatas! by jprogman 2015-05-02T06:04:00

About having to defeat all 100 enemies, I could set some sort of quota so you can defeat a certain amount and still finish the round. If I do that, I have to make an exit.

FISHGUN by sch00f 2015-04-20T22:24:00

Cool to have the level auto-generate, but there are some issues when there are solid blocks (the red ones) blocking above you at the ladder. That would often have me to resort to double-jumping. It's all right over all. Auto-generating levels are never easy to create. Good work!

I take it that I'm shooting blowfish because of... well... the blow-ups. :)

Spike Nut's Temple by AxeTheory 2015-04-21T02:09:00

Love how a 2D platform game can be made in Unity.

Spacebees by Lycaon 2015-04-20T04:03:00

Bee with a gun. Such a bizarre concept (in a good way,) but it doesn't fit the theme. There is a glitch with the screen. The screen can only scroll when I keep firing.

Saber Disk by Neonlare 2015-04-20T06:05:00

Very spiffy atmosphere!

Crump Rush by OnlySlightly 2015-04-30T04:50:00

Short but tough game. Love the challenge. I like how I can destroy blocks and make short cuts.

Wash It by LukuluK 2015-04-29T01:31:00

I'm a little confused for why I have to pick an enemy up in order to clean them. It cannot show me picking up an enemy so it me wondered if I did that step or not. Only way is by pressing P a few times.
Very fun game. Got a thrill for sliding and going through many doors with the slide.

The Umbrella Man by Toccio 2015-04-26T23:03:00

Love how you added names to each customers, heh!

Mechanically Enhanced Nano Unit by Frosnite 2015-04-23T02:03:00

Kick it Hard! by f7f5 2015-04-29T20:52:00

So funny to use the ball as a weapon, heh!
My only concern is to remain stunned when I'm ambushed by a lot of enemies. There should be some invincibility time so I can get the heck out of the way.

TRANSMATTER WHIRLMPOLE VACUUMBUSTER by CogentInvalid 2015-04-28T22:08:00

Good music. Neat little game overall! Interesting that I can suck the projectiles over to me, although I can't blow them away.

Panash & Plume by tikilittle 2015-04-29T06:53:00

It seems like I can move both players with WASD regardless of whom I'm playing as.
It's a vibrant explorer. Just I wish there is a mission somewhere.

Billy McMath Solves Problems by Manky 2015-04-30T03:36:00

Love the story. Great creative writing too. Reminds me of some flash animations but with interaction.

Sometimes the math problems only last as few as 3 seconds. At least I'm alright with math.

I take it you done everything yourself, including the voices? Otherwise, very impressive array of skills.

Space Boy by Hyoga-3D 2015-04-21T02:35:00

If asteroids become 3d and on a sphere, this will be it. As for the music, is that Final Fantasy I'm hearing? :)

Caffeine Rush by Tommislav 2015-04-20T06:52:00

There is a glitch where i can constantly hit the space bar so I can float in the air. I love the 2D game in a 3D world, although it's rather linear from point A to point B.

Piano Man Adventure Game by swipefaststudios 2015-04-23T00:03:00

Good start so far. I heard Love is a nice editor to make games. Keep it up on using Love!

Hallway Hero by Croze 2015-04-29T06:41:00

It's rather agonizing that my airplane throw meter resets each time a teacher attacks me. I take it that they're immune to paper airplanes.
Glad you have added a shop so I can upgrade; especially since those kids are a pain and my weapon at the start is too slow to shoot. I like the voice work.

Snow story by chabuduo 2015-04-23T01:37:00

There is an issue with the web browser scrolling around when I'm playing the game. The space and arrows moves the page around. Very annoying. Hope you can do something to prevent that from happening.
I've played the game in full. Nice work.

Samarkhanda, the Dancing Sword by Mak 2015-04-23T00:09:00

I really like how you can rotate the sword around so the enemies can be killed by the blade. You should stick with that idea on your future projects with different level designs, enemies, and so forth.

Curved Curse by S0lll0s 2015-04-21T02:25:00

I take it there are only three levels? I couldn't get through the third level's exit.

Very neat work.

Commando Kibbles by bakpakin 2015-04-26T22:36:00

Great music and graphics.
Just a little concern: direction of the canon dependent to the kitty's direction. It could be an issue when the game gets tough, but I suppose you can get used to that with practice.

Dimension Traveller by Crafting4U 2015-04-23T00:24:00

I'm stuck at the beginning of level 2. Can the bullet from the gun be in the same dimension as me? Because the bullet is being blocked by a space that supposed to be a red block (but I'm in a dimension with the blue blocks.)

You Can Shave the Baby by chikun Dev Team 2015-04-30T05:12:00

Interesting mix of games. Some weren't too suggestive but rather strange.

The Pamphleteers by Move127 2015-04-20T05:12:00

Your game has a unique idea, but there is a learning curve. I've played it a few times to get the idea, but I have to play it longer to understand it more.

Calling Mr. Blacksmith by Junber 2015-04-20T07:17:00

Wee Pon by DarkMeatGames 2015-04-20T03:56:00

Nice 2D platform in a 3D world.

Bees Bears Buzz by CowShark 2015-04-21T03:02:00

I really like the artwork and audio -- especially the audio since I can tell you did the bear voices heh.
However, the combat is very limited as I can only shoot left and right, not up and down. Which made of getting rid of bears harder when they're blocked by the left or right sides.

I Made Decisions by lamphj 2015-04-23T04:39:00

Still no answer on how to pass the blue rocks. Unless... that is your way of saying there are no more levels.
Interesting game by the way.

Abort This by Killbert 2015-04-23T02:22:00

Interesting concept with the zombie fetuses and all.

Null Chroma by Chris Delta 2015-04-21T03:08:00

Love the concept! But the middle mouse button to shoot green paint doesn't work for me and I have a middle wheel button.

Global Warning by fueelin 2015-04-26T22:27:00

Great idea of using monsoon rain as a weapon. Clever puzzler!
Hopefully the post-compo version addresses some issues with the water flow. Some spots not near the drain wouldn't flood with just one cloud.

Nightfall by deadbodyoutline 2015-04-29T01:10:00

It's a good start. The game is playable at this point and you should be happy that you managed to do that. I bet you have many ideas to put into it once you make time for it. Good luck on that!

Even if you didn't do them, I still like the graphics.

Floating Island Shootout by felix3456 2015-04-23T00:00:00

Your work does have a lot of elements that can be turned into a nice platform game. Some glitches here and there, but I'm not too concerned about those. The rotation is a nice touch, but are usually in the wrong places. (I take it those are randomly placed.) Hope you'll continue developing this further.

Maggie by Bergara 2015-04-28T22:18:00

I was able to ride on a metal platform and move the magnetism across the level. Not really an exploit, but allowed me to get pass the level PDQ. :) The jumping is sort of unresponsive, but that is all what I'm concerned. Love the bat dying sound, heh.

Word War 5 by SmallPhil 2015-04-29T21:28:00

Thanks for making a small-screened version.
I don't know if there is a penalty for mistyping a word other than having to re-type the word again.
Very nice typing game.

Mary by SetArray 2015-04-23T01:49:00

Good work. Needs a score to track your progress.
Funny how I died and made a bloody Mary. :p~

Covert Courier by KaiClavier 2015-04-29T05:48:00

I'm glad there are special abilities to select from as the game did get challenging to finish -- since there are no ways to replenish your health. My only concern is no way to remove an ability once is has been selected. For example, I wanted to unset the slowdown ability as it got a tad disruptive.
Fun game. Nice work.

Frazzle Dazzle by hexdie 2015-04-30T05:27:00

Very spiffy graphics. Some nostalgia with the blue and pink graphics. So CGA.

Just a dream... by ajopart 2015-05-02T21:42:00

There isn't any room for mistakes, and this game is very easy for me to make mistakes. I like the idea however.

Imagine by Pierce_Z 2015-04-29T00:13:00

I'm not fond with the controls, especially when switching gravity. There are times I wanted to tap in order to nudge a little to the left or right expect that triggers the gravity switch. It's playable, but agonizing.
It's a solid Android game, but the controls are an issue. Also, I can't seem to see how this fits the theme. If gravity suppose to be the weapon, I wouldn't understand.
Nice work overall.

Emotional Magic by Alexander Ramsay-Baggs 2015-04-23T03:58:00

The enemies are really well programmed. I can't seem to shake them off my tail.

SHiFT by Fanttum 2015-04-20T06:42:00

I couldn't finish the game as it got too difficult. I think I was near the end since the level just got long and deadly. There are spots where controls are very touchy. Often the character accelerates too fast and the gravity is too heavy to get my reaction. The game is okay, but I don't like how there are long levels with multiple difficult parts with no checkpoints.

Renfield Hearts Dracula by A-Flat Miner Studios 2015-04-30T05:50:00

Never seen a tower defense like this. Platform tower defenses are something new to me over the usual top-down versions. Great work!

(Un)Con by lizard455 2015-04-29T00:24:00

Ideally for controlling, I prefer to control the movement with one hand and attack with the other hand. Doing all of that with one hand is rather awkward especially when things get chaotic. Only my two-cents.
Fun little game overall.

Cleaning the Attic by Wolfgang_ 2015-04-23T03:27:00

Cool puzzler with a mix of different obstacles.

Forest Hecate by Jordan 2015-04-30T02:44:00

Later levels with volcanoes started to make the game too difficult to complete as it is constantly adding lava and it just keeps piling on. There should be a way to prevent too much lava to appear in each level.

There is some fun and enjoyment though. Nice work.

Sock Ninja by monkeedude1212 2015-04-20T06:25:00

I like it how during the dialog I can still throw socks at them. It looked like a glitch, but still very funny that I can do that.
Good work!

HEAT by Frenchie 2015-04-30T04:44:00

Just what have me puzzled is during the ice block fight the ice shoots the usual orange cubes, but the missiles do not seek them as they supposed to. I take it those blocks are also ice? Just a little confusion there.

Nice game overall.

The Spooky Ghost by DefectiveMelon 2015-04-23T04:05:00

Some parts of the game are quite tricky to get through; like when I have to be a small green ball on a moving platform and jump into a narrow passage.
The ghost-processing-enemies idea in general is neat.

Garden of Strife by Nanolotl 2015-04-30T03:48:00

I sort of wish the melee weapon range is a little longer. I had to get close to the enemies and got easily hurt.
Love the usage of vegetables as weapons. Very imaginative.

THUMP by Steffan 'Ruirize' James 2015-04-26T22:11:00

Definitely a unique game. Glad I wasn't too obligated to destroy every drone. That would be agonizing.

Pretty cool game, but I do wish for an ability to change to a smaller non-widescreen resolution though.

Qbit by taylor.smithgg 2015-04-23T04:28:00

It was a bit challenge to control the cube and get to that sphere.
Somehow, I've managed to fling my cube off the board. Heh.

KILLIPEDES by calavera 2015-04-29T18:57:00

Somehow I cannot tell if I'm close to the ground or not as the ground blends in with the background. Not that it matters since I'm mostly in the sky, so there isn't much reason to travel near the ground other than to destroy one enemy -- which happened to be a pain to destroy.
Very interesting concept. I like the humor.

Atled by Wow 2015-04-28T22:01:00

I like how you can interact with some things and get them going. Making the globe spin insanely fast made me chuckle a bit.

The game's idea is neat, but the window size is too huuuge for my screen to handle. :/

Deadly rain by Sublustris 2015-04-23T03:12:00

Very compelling story.
Only griping issue is how the solders weren't killed in a friendly fire. One solder shoots another... nothing.
Overall, the game is purely on luck and coincidence, which gets cumbersome.

Eyes that Fry by Evergreen Games 2015-04-22T23:42:00

It's a little difficult to jump when I'm next to the wall, but I can get around that.
I couldn't play the game in full because it is presented in widescreen only.
It would have been very helpful to switch between widescreen and fullscreen as I don't have a widescreen monitor. (Yes, there are still such a thing as fullscreen monitors.)

Sticks and Stones by adsilcott 2015-04-29T06:59:00

Easy controls, that is how I like it.
I love the story on avoiding negative words and reaching toward the positive labels. It felt the words were applying to me personally.

flowerpower by pyokoanarogue 2015-04-23T04:48:00

Nice touch to make flowers the weapon of choice. It needs more to get a better understanding on how the game works. Hope you'll develop it further.

Circus Escape by TDogAndNateDizzleProductions 2015-04-30T03:55:00

Nice artwork with photo cut-outs on a big photograph.
The mini-games are simple overall.

Rabbitville by Pilly 2015-04-26T05:49:00

I find the asynchronous timer a bit of a disadvantage when I'm trying to fully read what each bunny is saying. Meaning, the timer runs independently from the frame-rate. Sometimes it is impossible to read the entire conversation when my computer makes the game lag a bit.

As for the game entirely, I'll just say this... after playing the game in hopes to find the way to finish the game, I came to a solution: I've stopped playing.

Interesting game overall. Like the music and dialog.

The Rock the Paper and the Scissors by BIZM 2015-04-29T04:52:00

I love the real-time strategy. I hate to compare games with other games, but the whole strategy genre reminds me of a boxing game "Punch Out!!."
I have only got to the big boss and couldn't figure out his pattern. Very good work on the game!

Berry | The Last Straw by yuigoto 2015-04-30T05:00:00

Only issue is since so many blueberries are spawning in large numbers it made the game lag big time. Not a heck of a lot to do in this game, but it was fun none of the less. Good artwork and music.

Flavourish by UannaFF 2015-04-22T22:55:00

Neat -- yet unique -- idea.
I got annoyed with the unresponsive controls, but still managed to play the game -- especially since there is only one level.

Evil Cupido: Haters gonna hate by Pixel Heart 2015-04-22T23:23:00

I got stuck on the third level with the dog. I didn't know I had to shoot an arrow at the mouse trap. There isn't much of a hint to what things I can shoot at.
Very nice concept.

Chef Adventure by nguyenmv2 2015-04-29T19:12:00

I wished there are instructions to play this game. I can move, but I felt I cannot use the three weapons you had mentioned.
There seems to be only one level. Oh well, nice start overall.

HK-21 by stevenlr 2015-04-29T19:44:00

Love the concept of manipulating things with two kinds of forces.

Secret Weapons Factory! by spin-down 2015-04-26T21:57:00

The shooting is rather frustrating to work with. I do wish for the shooting angle to be more precise so the aiming would be more forgiving.
I love the little auction feature!

Hating Men(s): Chocolate Hunt by metalfist213 2015-04-29T18:39:00

This should have been marked as "contains inappropriate material" honestly. While the "weapon" of choice does fit the theme, I find it too taboo and tacky to accept it -- actually socially unacceptable to hear about. The whole subject matter is considerable too much and I guarantee you are going to ruffle some feathers.
As for the game mechanics, it is alright. I'm amazed for how far the enemy's attack can go from off-screen. I find the music quite funny to listen to.

UMBRELLA OF DOOM by NoxNode 2015-04-23T04:19:00

Thank goodness I could ricochet the bullets with my umbrella. That helped me enjoy the game a little more. But still, the combat in general is too unresponsive and with many circumstances like how the enemy attacks and how I can or can't attack just makes it frustrating. But, the idea of using the umbrella as a weapon is a great idea and it is nice to have two ways to attacking.

Mr. Whiskers by redding 2015-04-29T20:20:00

Short game. It's not bad, but considering that this is a very short game, why it is still 330MB big?? I'm actually laughing about that issue and somehow think of it as a joke: BIG download, VERY SHORT game.

Dabbag by 2k16's Andrei 2015-04-29T20:11:00

Easy concept, but gets painful as the enemies swarm in and undo whoever you've captured.
The controls are okay, but I wish for it to be more responsive and precise with the aiming and movement. Nice game, but only play it when you're in a good mood. heh.

Gravity Gram by Zeriver 2015-04-29T22:14:00

I did have some serious frame rate issues. There were long pauses between frame updates and I was on a powerful computer. However, I did find the frame rate improved when I closed many programs running on my computer. (I'm guessing there's a problem with the delta timer or something.)
Now that I have played the game, it was pretty good. Managed to get to the end with the smile. :)
I did have some problems clicking as it usually take two clicks to shoot another orb when one is already shot. I'm not sure if I have to right click to delete and THEN left click to shoot.
Nice work, but I hope you can find the issue to that frame rate hiccup. Just to let you know, I've also tried the demo and there was no frame rate issues with that.

Dylan Fries by electric_monk 2015-04-29T05:06:00

I like the hand-drawn characters. Although, I couldn't help but think of those as placeholders as I thought there would be more details. Nothing wrong with that, just an impression.
Neat storyline, but I felt stuck as I couldn't progress farther. I do notice some links in conversing... talk this thing, then this other thing, etc. So afterwards, I walked off the cliff, heh. Neat concept overall.

Weight Lifter 2000 by Leon75 2015-04-20T03:43:00

Quite difficult to play and I wish dropping the blocks would be easier than dropping on my head. Very nice physics and ultra-smooth frame rate. The game is a little too hard for me.

Pinata game by BottledZebra 2015-04-29T06:26:00

The difficult really ramps up. I could only last for 30 seconds on average after getting ambushed with pinatas. I'm glad to have 4 powerful weapons, but I'm having an awkward time using the controls.
I think you can make this game work without the use of the mouse. Have the character face according to what direction you move to aim and use the space key to shoot. It's just a suggestion to help improve the controlling as the game ramps up.

Fjuffy teh kloud by jordgubben 2015-04-29T21:19:00

Took me a while to realize I have to loop around to make the gold rings. I was trying to click to make those rings since I couldn't find the instructions. I didn't see the small hint at the top of the page where your game is as I thought it was gibberish. I'm guessing the mispelt wrds r intensual fr humr. :) Fun little game.

legumes by honosstoa 2015-04-30T00:28:00

Nice work on making the 3D models.

Ballad of Fury by piggypiggypiggy 2015-04-29T21:10:00

Nice that there are weaknesses that one track do more damage depending on the person. The button responsiveness seems to work 50% at the time. I'm not sure how precise I have to be to play the note; I assumed dead on.
Oh and the Emo track is insane!

Basement RPG by KBF123 2015-04-30T01:04:00

Not bad for a first time on LD.
I did find a little strategy in this game: just get to the darn weapon. After that, it was a major cakewalk of slaying all the spiders. Of course leveling up helped too. I've played it to the end at least and glad it wasn't too difficult. Sadly, there isn't anything innovated I can say about this game, but I hope you'll participate on the next LD!

Solipsism by Wdavemart 2015-04-21T02:41:00

Very interesting concept. A few suggestions though:
1) See if you could increase the movement speed a bit. It's rather slow.
2) Have a meter that allows you to freeze time for a certain amount of time. This is so I don't abuse freezing time for the entire round or game.

The fourth level or so got too difficult for me to finish as there are new enemies that are immune to the time freeze.

Cheesy Defender by SledKnight 2015-04-30T05:41:00

The mice started to appear and move too fast for me to throw an airplane at them. The delay of throwing a plane at the mice is rather long. I ended up just shooting as many planes as I can at such a short distance. Sort of worked... made it to the end.
Funny little game.

Invasion Pizza Defender ! by Lord_Vinzz 2015-04-20T06:58:00

Interesting to have the auto-generating map. Wish the enemies stop appearing to darn close to me.

Soul Breaker by DeadFragment 2015-04-30T02:00:00

I was stuck at one part with the three buttons with three elbow passages, but then I realize the jumping gives the throw some inertia. I was able to progress afterwards.
Very atmospheric game. Made it feel like a different kind of mini golf heh.

Bubbles & Slugs by Chaoslab 2015-04-26T06:08:00

At first, I was quite lost on how to play the game with so many things moving around. After reading your description, the objective was clearer. I've realized there is no way to actually lose, which is alright since there are so much things moving around. Very interesting concept. Nice work!

Turbo Moon Hero by Photon 2015-04-30T05:34:00

I believe the uni-direction of the orbiting adds to the difficulty. Fortunately, the speed-up or down helps add some control. I've tried to keep myself alive until I try the turbo attack. Managed to do that... then I lost the game.

Nicely done.
