LD24 — Evolution

Battle Arena Evolution! by Markavian 2012-08-28T03:03:00

Pretty cute but I didn't feel much depth to the combat or evolution other than a natural linear progression.

Dr. X's Rainbow Arena by TheChemist 2012-08-28T02:10:00

Thanks for the comments guys!

I've added support for playing with the keyboard (WASD + arrow keys) which necessitated the change where looking is firing. It does negate the players ability to micro manage the energy of the two separate weapons but I've yet to see anyone make it far enough for it to really matter!

All told, I don't actually like how it feels on the keyboard but I agree, it was isolating too many people. Thanks again!

Guppies by Lord_Fluffy 2012-08-28T02:57:00

Brutally difficult with just audio. Would have been better if the bugs had visual cues that faded to the audio cues over the levels.

EndNet - A Prisoner's Dilemma by TheChemist 2012-12-17T01:19:00

A crazy polished one at that :)

Heads up to people, this doesn't work with netcat since I forgot to support streamed input.

EndNet - A Prisoner's Dilemma by TheChemist 2012-12-18T03:59:00

As a heads, this is best played in a modern MUD client. If you are on windows I recommend MushCLIENT (http://www.gammon.com.au/mushclient/) and on *nix wxMUD (http://wxmud.sourceforge.net/) is a great choice. Playing in telnet (or trying netcat) feels really foreign these days so I don't recommend it :)

Notlock the Villan (Ludum Dare 25 Singpolyma) by singpolyma 2012-12-17T03:26:00

This is really fun little inversion of "hunt the bad guy". Took about 10min to beat it but it was a good kick getting there.

Super Mailman by 0xDD 2017-12-07T19:51:26Z

Really cool concept. Would have loved if I could keep playing each level if there were remaining boxes for a higher score of some kind. Looking forward to seeing it with more levels!

Lots of fun and just challenging enough

Ridiculously cute and polished. The audio in particular did a great job of accentuating the action without becoming drag over my few sessions.

Hilarious and great. Got some serious vertigo the further I got :D

0 to 100 by TheMoonrise 2019-10-07T01:36:44Z

This is super well done. The pacing feels slow at times, and one of the minigames insta-failed me because the bad thing spawned right under my mouse, but other than that this is solid!

Grand Prix Nothing by AxelOlivier 2019-10-07T01:32:20Z

There is no play link?

Captain Chicken and his N.O.T.H.In.G. by Igoreshka 2019-10-07T01:48:09Z

Really liked the base gameplay. I ended up running out of bombs to solve the map which was a bit frustrating but otherwise this was A+!

Doodle Ball by Beritens 2019-10-08T00:31:20Z

This is awesome! I keep getting better and it keeps offering more things to learn :D
