I liked what you did with the theme! With more mini games and some people to play with, it could be real fun :)

I liked what you did with the theme! With more mini games and some people to play with, it could be real fun :)
Really cool concept, I'm a big fan of the "Martian Prince" emails :)
It's a silly kind of fun, wound up having my snowman tip his hat.
Tough and fun, good job.
the link doesn't lead anywhere
I liked this, you fit the theme well, and it was a fun experience. There was some funny stuff in here :D
Really nicely done, the animations were smooth, and the buildings looked nice. A little more diversity would improve the game, but what's here is still fun and looks great
I like the gameplay, it just took me a little while to get the hang of things. It's also a little annoying to have to pick every piece of bug that's left on the screen. The graphics were simple, but I feel like they fit the mood of the game. Overall, pretty solid game.
Tough, but addictive. if the controls were a bit tighter it might make it a little easier, but I think that's part of the fun.
Fun and a little tough, but once you get used to the bosses' attacks it's fair I think.
I logged in and played a little, it was ok. But then someone else joined and it got crazy hectic. With a lot more polish and a lot of people, I feel like it would be pretty fun.
It's fun, and very addictive. A little difficult, but that's part of the fun. Things to add would be some sound effects or graphics.
This was pretty fun and funny. The voice acting on the cows really make this game. The gameplay itself is nice, but some things like resources could be added (maybe the cows produce milk?) I enjoyed this regardless
Gameplay was fun, and things got out of hand quick. Music is cool too :)
I could've done with more whale but it wasn't bad besides that
I liked this, I think with some more unit variety it could be a lot of fun. It's tough to get an edge on the AI, but once I worked out a strategy I got used to it
Hey, I think both of your links are to the source code
Honestly I clicked this expecting something about Kevin Spacey, but I wasn't dissapointed anyway. The game was fun, I can always do with more Oregon Trail in my life
I like this idea, it's cool and you could expand on it if you so choose.
Fun gameplay, a *little* buggy, but fun.
I really liked the art style! The gameplay itself gets a little stale after a while, but the challenge of avoiding hits makes up for it a little i feel.
I like this, the music contrasted with slaughtering reindeer made it pretty funny
Nice little TD game. The sound effect for the green tower is a little annoying though
Pretty Reminiscent of XCOM (especially with the miss chances). I got pretty into it once I got used to all the different abilities, congrats on a short fun little game.
I liked it, it's fun and a little addictive. I was concerned about it being too easy, and then I tried hard mode, haha good job.
It was cool to map out in my head where stuff was in relation to me
Wow, I really liked this. The graphics, sound, and game play really worked together to make a relaxing mood. Excellently done.
Wow I really like this, both the concept and the gameplay were great. Good job
Really well put together, it's very stylistic and nice. It felt good to uncover a new set of buttons or whatever. Good work!
I get a 404 on the download page
Hello again :) This was fun to play, but after a bunch of tries on one part I had to give up. But trying to make it was addictive and just the right kind of tough where I felt like it was possible and it was my own terrible play that held me back
I enjoyed this a lot, a fun strategic game where the (slightly ridiculous) amount of zombies made it feel like a zombie apocalypse.
I don't know what's happening and I wouldn't want it any other way.
haha, this was fun. Kinda reminds me of those cartoon wars games, but with more doritos. I'm fine with this
I liked it, it was pretty funny to grow so my face covered the whole screen. I think it would be a whole lot better if you could hold down the arrow keys though, right now it gets slightly annoying/painful
Had some weird physics interactions: floating snowmen, and getting stuck on their bodies. I don't know if this was intentional, but it made it kinda hard to play. When I had a bit of a streak going it was fun to block and jab.
I like the way you implemented the theme, it was nice. The game itself is tough and addictive, sometimes I felt like I needed checkpoints mid-level, but I'm also just bad at games
The music and visuals were cool, really sets the atmosphere. My only complaint is that I was being killed by things, but I didn't know what.
It starts a little slow but once it picks up it's fun. There's a nice variety of enemies which helps a lot.
Love the graphics, and pinball goes perfectly with the theme. I feel like the ball goes between the flippers more than I can hit it, but maybe I'm just bad. Good work, regardless.
Funny spin on this style of game, the music suits the game well.
Tough to get into, but once I did I found the gameplay fun and addicting. I could see myself getting hooked. The enemy that throws the bombs is rough.
I like it! It's a little tricky, but fun and cute.
Fun little sandbox game, Music was nice and fitting. The random generation is also a cool feature, well done :)
Only one word to describe this: "Awesome" Haha, but seriously, this was a lot of fun :)
I liked it, maybe add some more toys to play with :)
Haha, I appreciated all the montage parody sound effects. Funny game.
Trying to play this with keyboard and mouse was really difficult, but it definitely benefits a lot from controller support. It's a lot of fun once I got into it, with a lot of cool stuff going on. I think an indication of when you've hit a checkpoint would be nice, however.
I tried a couple of run-throughs but I didn't really get anywhere. I do like the concept though, maybe with some more fleshing out it would be more clear and fun.
Muy divertido ! (i think that's right?) :) It was a nice and unexpected game/lesson. I think the words could've been mixed up a little more as it seemed like I got the same ones more often than not. Cool stuff here though
It's a very pretty and serene game. I'm sure if you continued work on it you'd throw some more variety into the gameplay. For now though, it's very well crafted and intriguing.
A very cool game mechanic, which made this a lot of fun, if not challenging. Checkpoints could have gone a long way to help the game out. Other than that it fits the theme with some very sneaky puzzles :)
Fun and challenging, I played through the whole thing. Some of the sound effects were a little loud but that's just me :P
Just wanted to say thanks for introducing me to some great music. Really set the mood of the story and I fully plan on checking some of this out :)
What a creepy and frustrating game. I loved it!
Very hectic gameplay in this, which is a lot of fun. It took a little while to figure out what was killing me sometimes(lava :P) but eventually I worked out the mechanics and it was enjoyable.
As others have said, that intro cutscene really is a pain, despite being pretty funny the first time around. Working out combinations is a cool mechanic that I enjoyed. Nice work here
Simple and fun, and surprisingly difficult. Things could maybe have been improved with ants spawning on the top half of the screen, or maybe some enemy variety, but otherwise a nice little time waster :)
Haha, I love the voice acting here. The gameplay is tense too, and I'm sure could be expanded on if you wanted to. What I'm saying is, cool game.
Cool enough concept. It's unfortunate you didn't have enough time to flesh it out more, but oh well
Very fun game, Although one level did eventually make me rage quit, because I suck :P. Sure I could do without the weird collision stuff, but the gameplay is in the right place.
The game is really fun! Lots of trial and error but I like that in puzzle games.
Just so you know, I spawned under the level when using the Web version. When I actually respawned inside the level, I liked playing katamari with swords and frying pans :^)
Really fun and addictive. To whoever got ~70 on the leader boards, I salute you.
Pretty cool story, and very funny. I liked the art style, even though it was a little weird :)
It was difficult to find the supplies, as well as try and attack the hordes of enemies without getting hit. However, I liked the graphics as well as the addition of a day/night cycle.
This was really cool. The different puzzles combined with doing things quickly and accurately was a lot of fun. Great job on this
Truly a grippping tale of the modern millenial in today's rude society. It brought me back to my last time at starbucks.
The difficulty could be tweaked. it's a little easy to avoid all the bugs. However, the game's got some dope sounds, a nice ambience. It's pretty fun to dodge all the goons and get all the goods. Good time
I'm pretty bad at games so I died real fast. I'm guessing my macro game wasnt on point? Either way it's a nice concept for a resource management kinda deal. I enjoyed my time.
Highly recommend playing the Halo theme in the background while you play. The game's truly epic nature can come to life before your very eyes. I never expected the boat level in a million years
Took me a while to figure out what was happening but once I did I enjoyed it alot. thanks for the absurd time
Big fan of how you can smash but also sometimes you dont?
Maybe an explanation of the game mechanics would have made it a little better. I seem to do the best by doing nothing at all. Reminds me of the rest of my life
I had some fun shooting stuff, and I liked growing my farm. My main feedback would be on prioritizing different stuff, it's cool that you made an inventory system, but i think it would've been better if combat was more fleshed out instead. That said, building on this would be neat, maybe with placing objects and building to defend your crops.
Who knew logistics could be so much fun? :) I enjoyed this quite a bit, was just the right level of challenge, with some tense moments that I could pull through from. I will echo the "missed drops" comment, maybe would be nice to have some visual indication when you're in range of drop off / pickup.
@moritz14 @trifectuh Glad you guys like Frijole, he needs the love after the mess he got himself into :^)
@honey-pony Thanks for playing + leaving great feedback! The issue with only bouncing off walls sometimes I only noticed in the last hour before I submitted, totally get how frustrating that is, as well as the precise jumps.
Re: the art and music, I totally agree. I've grown used to the music, but it kinda muddies what the soul of the game is -- is it serious? Is it cute and fun? The mixed pixel resolution was pure laziness on my end to try and add some visual variety, I agree it's an eyesore :)
Cool to see your final solution, different from mine in almost every way!
@sir-magic -- Thanks for your comment! Agree there's a lot of places to go with this - I found that I kept coming up with more pieces + mechanics that I wanted to add, but knew I wouldn't have time for.
Thanks @tyranosaw - appreciate the art feedback, I'm in over my head when it comes to this stuff - this puts into words what I was feeling about the different assets but couldn't formulate. Reset button would be nice, replacing the fetch button maybe.
I'd love to keep working on this... stay tuned :)
@curtamyth -- thanks for the tip, a nice tool to add to my kit. Considering the only direct player input is jumping in this game, it'd definitely be a big improvement to really fine tune the jumping experience here! Appreciate the kind words :)
I bet with a little more polish this would be pretty fun. I played through the TP factory and started the Tire Factory. Ran into a bug in the tire factory where I was stuck in the jump animation, sliding endlessly. It's a neat hybrid -- but I most enjoyed the music + graphics aesthetics
Fun and a nice challenge -- I'll report a super minor bug -- sprint stamina on one level persists through to the next. Not a big deal but something I noticed. Great work!
I like this entry, simple but cute and pretty fun to see how long I (we?) could survive. The highlights for me are the music and the art, I get a 90s nickelodeon cartoon vibe, especially in that game over screen. Thanks!
I think I noticed a couple of times that I didn't lose or gain resources when I should've (and I don't think it was a chance either) -- other than that though I enjoyed this! Found it engaging to make the choice between (indirectly) supporting slavery or keeping my energy up.
Was it intentional that by holding down the mouse button, you would fire in time with the music? Pretty funny. The game is fun, as simple as it is
Just want to chime in w/ my enjoyment of this game -- it got tense near the end, but I got lucky with the exact card I needed to take out 3 red cards and make sure I didn't lose another lane on the last turn -- A very cool project, nice job w/ the exposition to fit the theme ;)
This is chill and fun -- something that seems kind of interesting to me is that I get to choose the level of challenge I want. Literally, I reap what I sow, cool concept.
I like the art, especially the shader surrounding the character. I mostly had difficulties working with the camera though, on keyboard and mouse I needed to push it down constantly. Neat mechanic!
Fun to play, and I enjoyed the art and mood. I found myself letting hordes of enemies build up and follow me so I could keep following the fox, killing them at the logs. I thought it was cool that I had to come up with a strategy like that instead of mindlessly killing everything.
This game is quite cool! Big fan of using 3d audio as a game mechanic -- my only complaint with this is that I cranked up volume to be able to hear the sounds, but then found them to be too loud once I was close to the planet. Overall it was fun -- I should've realized flying into the sun would kill me :)
Pretty cool idea that got pretty hectic! Something that would've been cool - maybe progressively intense music, or at least consistently intense music, I felt like whenever the rapid drums kicked in I expected the pace to pick up, and then I expected things to calm down when the music lulled (of course, it didn't, and I died  )
The last level was tough! I had fun playing. For repetitive sound effects like the jump sound, I've found it's really nice to have a couple of different sounds to cycle through, I felt the constant bloops a little annoying. Nice art style too
I like this take on Oregon trail -- I agree I had some camera issues, especially when the caravan was moving towards the camera. Overall some fun gameplay, dodging bullets worked really well. Would've been cool If I had to consider my ammo usage as well
Cool idea for a worker management game -- will be cool to see this start fleshed out more!
I was unsuccessful in opening this on my computer (Windows) - I have java installed but when clicking the jar, nothing happens
Working now! Thanks for fixing :) This was fun, as others have mentioned it's hard to control but I enjoy the chaos that causes -- so maybe finding a balance between hard to control, but more predictable would've been helpful. I learned I'm very good at crashing asteroids into earth today
Fun game -- Big props for local multiplayer and the amount of content you've added -- especially HAT SELECTION!!
Great work on this! I can tell you guys had a lot of ambition with this and it paid off massively. It was very cool to see all the different skills I could use. Something I would've liked to have is some kind of indication when a tree off-screen was being attacked. Cool project!
Lot's of content and choices to be made here, a super complicated optimization problem. It's cool and makes for a smart game that's fun to try (and fail) to solve. Something you did which I think was a good idea was ease in the options over time -- Maybe expanding on this, I feel it would've been less overwhelming if you limited the available options to choose from a bit more. Tougher to balance though and makes your job much harder obviously! :)
Appreciate the work you put in to polish the simple concept here, fun and addictive game. I love the eSports theming as well, cool stuff.
Big fan of the art style, and the synthetic sound effects seemed a little odd, but I actually like how the fit the overall aesthetic. Agree it would've been cool with more stuff to do, but it's well-executed for what it is. Calming + cool.
Pretty fun, I think it all works well together. I have some gripes about the destinations being difficult to get to (I got caught between buildings sometimes) , but I guess if I had memorized the map that would've been alleviated. I will confess that when I was done, I went on a murderous water gun spree
It's a cool mechanic! It felt cool when I realized I should pull in my asteroids before rotating the camera. The game is really stylish too. A little bare once I've cleared out a bunch of asteroid, but the tractor beam effect really pops compared to the rest of things.
86 Highscore!! I was taken out by some kind of abominable conga line... I really liked this, the art and sound were perfect, and the gameplay is pretty unique and definitely fun. It was cool to have to rewire my brain, which has been conditioned so hard by other mining games to mine everything in sight. Simply a great entry, congrats!
This game is really neat. It looks and sounds amazing. Gameplay was very addictive as well, though it took me awhile to figure out what was happening. tbh, I'm still not sure if there was any reason to avoid running out of or maxing out heat/wind/water, but I did my best to avoid it! I lasted to 700 villagers, then I did something which caused the game to freeze. Still had a lot of fun though!
@villeloso The idea we had was that gravity is unstable, so the rocks and bird were flying around because of that, definitely could've been communicated better/leaned into though
Man, this was impossible. I just rage quit eventually. You've transcended rage games and now I'm just sad  Excellent execution, I hope others join me in my misery
uhhmmm... my game just crashed?? ;) This was such a funny little project, really refreshing -- Why not enter into the humor category? Feels like it's a perfect fit for something like this
I tried the original version, but definitely found the monitors a bit too unclear, so I was glad to see things fixed up in the post-jam version! I think for the gameplay, it is fun to combine the right colors at the right levels, but it's not clear to me what I should do when the pressure fills up, I could drain the tanks, but then I'm back to where I started. The post-jam version was well polished, the graphics are a great fit for the game, and I'm a fan of the music as well.
Fun and really cute! I had a couple problems getting him to actually eat, I think I almost fed him the wrong food and then put it away. But this was lovely, and the graphics and music were nice
Wow, so much content in this, that's awesome. I like a lot of the monsters, really gross and creepy looking. I definitely agree that faster run speed or smaller rooms would've helped alot, as well as lower time to kill on a few of the enemies. Maybe I'm just used to faster pacing on games like this
This was really nice! Really pretty, and I like the little twist on the usual tower defense formula. It feels great that even if my tower doesn't kill an enemy, it's still weakened for when it gets to the next one eventually.
This was awesome -- what a fun mechanic! It was a little unintuitive to me at first but the early levels helped to figure it out. And great graphics and music to fit it all together
This was awesome -- one of my favorite entries. The art and music are so cute! There's something very nice about launching really far and landing on a checkpoint :) The game is really fun, and the difficulty felt perfectly balanced to me.
This was neat. I think I'm a little too impatient to survive for very long, but it was fun. I think the look + feel of the game are perfect. Every button feels real and tactile, which I know can be tough to do.
Awesome game, so much about the concept is really cool. Kinda hard but eventually I figured out a pretty good strategy. I wish I could have deleted modules I didn't want anymore or that there was some other way to keep things dynamic, as eventually you stop making choices and it's just down to gunplay/existing strategy. I hit a bug where I finished a wave and didn't have any more enemies to kill, but the wave never ended.
After the funniness of the horse joke wore off, I found this one pretty cool. I think I agree that more horses to judge before the ending would've been cool, but it was fun to have a few mini moral dilemmas to consider. In paper's please I found there was always a bit of friction to have hard rules to follow that were clearly penalized. I quite prefer not having the rules be so explicit, and rather having to just make the judgement call. And love the art + ambience going on!!
This was lovely :) The art, sound, and gameplay are so simple, but I was enchanted by how cute everything was and how it all fit together perfectly.
Really ambitious guys! I made it to the end with seconds to spare :) I got unlucky and found the exit before I found the apple. I did eventually just ignore enemies and run past them, so it would be interesting to see how you could stop players from doing that
This was cool! It was nice getting to stomp all over the monsters once I was really leveled up. I liked the vibe of everything too, the cutscenes were especially well done. Overall pretty fun, but I'd be curious to see how you could add some more strategy to this game.
I like this, a survival/platformer is neat. Would've liked some more sfx / music, and maybe a more varied level, but I know how jams can get :)
Definitely agree with mistercheezy above that I was turned off at first by how hard the game was. But I was hooked in once I learned how to use the potions. A cool and unique mechanic, and really fun!
I hate those damn drones! But I like the game :) I do think you nailed the atmosphere, people have mentioned sound issues with the drones but I thought those were fine, my sound problem was the clock ticking noise, which was just a little loud and grating. Oh -- and excellent font choice!
This was amazing. Lots of comments praising this already, and I agree with them. As a really minor thing - it's really frustrating when enemies spawn right behind you when you're on the edge of the screen. Preventing spawning near the player or giving some kind of warningwould be really nice. But I played this a lot, it's awesome !
Difficult, but pretty fun to try for a couple rounds! Would be interesting to see how it changes if you mix up the events and things thrown at the player. For instance, suddenly decreasing gravity again might throw your balance off, melting the hail, etc.
This is a cool little card game, the allure of chaos drew me in, and I had a... blast :sunglasses:
