Chrome wouldn't download the zip. Said there was a virus :/

fiote 2021-10-05 03:36

@dsoberdan this is the case for most games on jams. Not virus, I mean, but the false positive. Go for it!

About this game: SPOILER ALERT!

. . . . . . . . .

OH BOY WHAT A RIDE! I read the game's description and went "uh, this is kinda chad/creppy" with the babe talk and stuff, but the art was so nice I decided to check it anyway. I. LOVED. IT. Can the guy who voiced the bug/janitor/guy please record the entire lord of the rings for me? Such a nice voice! I must confess I don't consider this a "game", but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the idea itself! Hats off for you!

The most adorable bug in the world) I laughed for so long! You made my day)

conduit 2021-10-10 17:27

@fiote thank you for the kind words! And yeah we were cut short a day because work and stuff so we decided to go for more of an art piece centered around the theme lol thank you again for playing!

defectivemelon 2021-10-13 01:00

uhhmmm... my game just crashed?? ;) This was such a funny little project, really refreshing -- Why not enter into the humor category? Feels like it's a perfect fit for something like this

conduit 2021-10-13 01:20

@defectivemelon we're not sure why you can't, we must've mistakenly opted out during submission. Oh well, glad you enjoyed it!

2021-10-13 02:24

Even the bug have sofa little house. Where is the promised crush :(

craigalancarroll 2021-10-13 02:47

Ha, nice touch. I did enjoy the music I got to hear. Reminds me of some late 90's/early 00's games, like Deus Ex or Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines.

conduit 2021-10-13 02:53

@craigalancarroll yooo! I'll 100% take that as a compliment. The 90s/00s are definitely my most influential eras in regards to video game soundtrack/electronic music. Thank you for the kind words <3

@sue perhaps one day we can fulfill our promise XD

nobongo 2021-10-13 04:24

Cute and amusing entry! I'm surprised that you didn't opt in for humor honestly I thought a lot of the writing and premise was really funny. Solid and innovative work!

sheol 2021-10-13 06:37

Not gonna spoil but I had a good laugh with this one haha. Shame that you can't rate the humor for this one. A really interesting take on the 'Unstable' theme! Really well done and nicely executed. Great submission haha. I like the little name drop to the previous game jam submission (which I enjoyed too) :x

kakapoy 2021-10-13 07:05

That was amazing ! I laugh all the way to the end and even after ! Loved it, I would love to have a little plush of what you know ahah

varundevs 2021-10-13 07:08

Good one!

guitarbro 2021-10-14 02:44

Hah, what a bait-and-switch. Real shame the humor rating wasn't enabled. Voice acting was very nice and the intro music was solid.

thepiratenun 2021-10-17 23:04

I absolutely loved this! The humor was really on point and I loved the innovation on the theme! The writing definitely has some vibes similar to The Stanley Parable in how the player is encouraged to go against what the game/narrator is telling them to do. I really enjoy that type of game! I would love to see this story layered with some additional gameplay, I think that could really make this concept shine on a larger scale. Well done!

shakedimus 2021-10-17 23:09

Hahaha man I'll just put it here since I can't rate 5/5 Humor!! I enjoyed the multiple "levels" a lot and indeed the voice acting sounded really professional. The drawings were also cute. Good job , loved it!

conduit 2021-10-18 10:50

Thank you all for the love, it means a lot to us! <333

franvadillo 2021-10-18 15:43

macbarette 2021-10-18 18:47
