LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Pre-Life by Cassio Eduardo 2018-12-08T08:40:29Z

Oh man, I have so many things I want to say about this game,I have idea where to start! Firstly, as an audio engineer/composer/producer I have to comment on the simple, yet elegant and blissful soundtrack.I really hope those were original pieces! Another thing is just the overall mood of the game, lighthearted but very stark and realistic in it's approach. I found the endings pretty funny too. Lastly, as a former college student (now college graduate) this is an unbelievably simple yet accurate interpretation of daily college life, minus the rather drastic endings lol overall, absolutely fantastic game with a very intuitive nature. I would love to see this title fleshed out into a full release!

Slime Girls by nervous-composers 2018-12-17T21:35:11Z

Loved the flow and art direction of this title! Controls felt a little funny but overall I was really invested in the story that was built here. Looking forward to a post jam release!!!

Kill chickens for better art! by loveapplegames 2018-12-07T03:37:13Z

This is super interesting! I kind of seeing it fit the theme in the sense that you're constantly sacrificing one space for another. Even if I'm overthinking it, this is super cool!

OpFern Class by ghost-in-the-toast 2018-12-05T03:32:47Z

@jcroisant hey there! Conduit here. Firstly, we really appreciate the honest feedback. Secondly, the flashback was intentional but the freezing was not. Glad you enjoyed it, we certainly enjoyed making it! πŸ‘Šβš‘

OpFern Class by ghost-in-the-toast 2018-12-07T03:30:16Z

@kitsuneokami thank you for the awesome feedback! Super stoked you enjoyed everything 😁

OpFern Class by ghost-in-the-toast 2018-12-17T20:56:06Z

@eddensoft @purrseus thanks for the awesome feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed our jam

Lucky Number 13 by Simon Rahnasto 2018-12-08T09:14:40Z

YO! This was sick, aside from some weird texture glitches (which may have just been on my end since I'm playing on my laptop at 4am lol) this game has some SERIOUS potential for a fully fleshed out release. The story had me captivated while the puzzle elements were inventive enough that I didn't just breeze right through it. Definitely a solid foundation for something super rad. 10/10 great jam!!! :D

Save the swarm by Ternarycat 2018-12-17T21:29:30Z

My favorite part of this game was definitely the graphics. I liked the almost 90s inspired art direction (whether or not that was intentional is unclear to me lol). The music was pretty sweet, a little bit of a relaxing track that clashed with the frantic gameplay. The swarm noises or whatever you would call them were a little too loud imo but still made the cut! Overall I think it was really interesting how the swarm kind of floated around the mother alien and kind flew off on a different path each time. Definitely added an interesting layer while keeping within the theme. TLDR: This was a solid entry! Gameplay was functional and art/sound was good as well!

Rift Core by chaosed0 2018-12-08T08:57:35Z

Graphics were amazing. Definitely challenging, but it was also extremely fun! I really enjoyed the frantic nature. Got some serious mech commander vibes even though it was in real time, which was a really cool design choice. Overall a super pleasant experience!!!

KingGame by staxx6 2018-12-14T03:21:52Z

Loved the little cube dudes! I liked the movement of the King and even though the servants were kinda derpy I feel like that was the intension lol XD anyway, the graphics were dope and overall I had a blast with this one. Only complaint is the lack of audio but still a solid little game!

Chrum Chrum Satan by The Wiggly Geko 2018-12-08T09:25:02Z

I think this submission really fits the theme but I had a hard time avoiding the farmer as either pigs (yes I played both pigs at the same time lmao). One tip to take home from Ludum 43, take in to consideration your audio levels. The ukulele track shouldn't drown out the metal track that plays during the "beast mode". Also, those pig squeals were pretty blown out. All in all, great submission and great work! Looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with next!!!

LD44 — Your life is currency

Consume by ghost-in-the-toast 2019-04-30T05:46:28Z

Thank you everyone for the fantastic comments! We've been playing a ton of entries as well and this Ludum Dare has been my favorite so far. Ghost and I are super proud of our work on this title. You guys are awesome!!! :)

@ghost-in-the-toast a few more? πŸ‘€

Animancia by D1gital Cuts 2019-04-30T02:55:16Z

This is absolutely marvelous! Gameplay is fun and intuitive and the art style is flawless. I seriously can't get over the visuals, that was truly stunning. This entry is to be taken seriously and is a serious contender, great job!

Labour Micro by Luther-1 2019-04-30T03:00:37Z

Yo! This is a pretty sweet prototype! I accidentally built the bridge in the wrong place the first time lol the whole experience is pretty reminicent of older DOS RPGs I think, with the graphics and command based gameplay. Overall pretty sweet!

Danko by Pixel_Error 2019-04-30T01:50:24Z

Talk about some great pixel work! Absolutely stunning!

MoneyChange by JoeyAsagiri 2019-04-30T02:44:14Z

Love the sprite work here! Took me a second to realize what I had to use the money for lol but it was a really great experience!

Zombears by Arman_Dot_Com 2019-04-30T02:31:08Z

Love the art style! Definitely pretty difficult too! XD great entry

LD45 — Start with nothing

Code:NOTHING by guoboism 2019-10-25T04:36:02Z

This was super creative! Definitely had a good time with this one.

Typingfarm by bnmkt 2019-10-25T04:04:06Z

Yo! This was actually really sweet! I could see this being a great game to help teach kids how to spell as well as introduce them to more basic game mechanics. Control scheme was a little unfamiliar but once you get used to it, it flows pretty well. I can't stress this enough though, your entry was rock solid and had a very pleasant aesthetic with an unexpected edutainment twist. Well done!

Full Moon by slimabob 2019-10-25T03:19:12Z

I was really hoping the ice cream would've shot laser beams too XD never thought I'd ever say that in my life lol really funny entry you have here!

Soulbound by ghost-in-the-toast 2019-10-24T18:53:15Z

@gigahood Bro thank you so much for the shining review XD rest assured, no cheating takes place lol ;P work flow plus knowledge and experience really is key!

Soulbound by ghost-in-the-toast 2019-10-26T03:34:52Z

@ohsqueezy lol no doubt! Thanks for playing :)

Terminal Reset by fusionnist 2019-10-15T22:58:07Z

Absolutely fell in love with the aesthetic. Mechanics were also tight and well implemented. Gamejam aside, I think this could be a really sweet full game!

Planet 7: No Data by Belonzik 2019-10-25T03:11:23Z

I really enjoyed the music the most about this game. The visuals and overall atmosphere was also excellent. I did feel a bit lost though, I'm you all had the intention but a mini-map of some kind would've been really helpful. Other than that, this is a stellar piece of work!

KOLENdor by MaxKlimenok 2019-10-24T19:56:51Z

Wow! Talk about a rock solid concept, love the hexagonal map, in depth story and multiple paths to choose from (huge tabletop RPG fan over here lol). Absolutely stellar work!

ReWorld by Firesplash Entertainment 2019-10-15T22:41:23Z

This was so slick! I loved the aspect of adding all the fundamentals. It also played into the puzzles very well too. This is one solid entry!

Server Error by FreypodGames 2019-10-15T22:30:20Z

I thought this game has some real potential in the humor department. Really enjoyed the graphics as well, great work!

Necroloose : The awakening by Boffbad 2019-10-25T04:09:55Z

Yo! This was really sweet, I really like the fader for the lamp, I did get lost after I picked it up though :( solid entry though!

Genesis by SpacialSeasoning 2019-10-24T19:03:29Z

I was a little confused with a few of the gameplay elements but I thought this was a really cool concept for an evolution sim! Really enjoyed this one, great job!

The Story Of The Small Village by Benosuke 2019-10-25T04:12:47Z

Very clever entry! I like how you took the theme and applied it to building a village with the minigames. I think this was a great first entry, keep it up!

Monolith by Kalucifer 2019-10-25T01:48:27Z

Really loved the aesthetic and style of this jam! The sprite work was unbelievable and the soundtrack was very fitting of the work :) third level definitely had me stumped though XD I must've been doing something wrong, but other than that this was a great pleasure!

Bleak by ajahks 2019-10-25T00:35:00Z

What an unbelievable take! I really enjoyed the entire idea of your creation turning against you. The lighting effects were absolutely stunning as well. Amazing entry!!

Rhythmic Nothing by Vyndilis 2019-10-26T03:41:21Z

Loved the little tune you had in this game! Do you have any plans to upload that to Soundcloud or anything? I'd love to listen to it in it's entirety :)

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Deep Root by blackoptics8 2021-05-02T02:06:30Z

Took me a hot second to understand exactly what was going on but once I got the hang of it, talk about a sweet concept! A great spin on the like, drainpipe simulator(?) the graphics were sweet and paired up with the audio flawlessly. Fantastic entry homies <3

THE PIT by Almax 2021-04-28T22:17:55Z

DAMN! I had an absolutely blast with this one! Kinda felt like Quake/DOOM mixed with Mirror's Edge. Loved the on the nose humor as well, well done!

Bad Night by vknauss 2021-05-04T17:22:49Z

The atmosphere was tight! I so wish there was some kind of audio in this one, even if it was stock samples. That would've tied it all together for me, I had a lot of fun dragging dead homie out into the woods but couldn't figure out how to escape the dog, I just ended up running laps around the car until I died XD great entry though, loved the vibe <3

Boombox by auxC 2021-05-04T19:14:10Z

Talk about frantic gameplay! Love the concept and design, you all seem to really have a knack for these puzzle box games! Much love <3

Hellbearer: The Deepening by jelch 2021-04-28T22:26:28Z

Loved the idea and graphical style. Could use a bit of clarification on how to dig, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to hold down on space, tap on time or spam (spamming ended up working for me lol). The character and purpose was hilarious, the level design was also something I enjoyed. Good entry!

Depths of Darvaza by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-04-28T03:32:02Z

@jaeliinah don't we all :laughing:

Depths of Darvaza by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-04-28T22:01:13Z

@tank yeahhhh, he's not as cool as you think! total amateur and really difficult to work with  jk jk it was a pleasure having you bro, you nailed that narration!

Depths of Darvaza by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-04-28T22:58:44Z

@creepyface absolutely! You can check out @ghost-in-the-toast 's profile for all the Ludum Dares he, @skawly and I have worked on as well as some solo submissions!

Depths of Darvaza by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-04-30T02:05:10Z

@bereg lmao I was wondering if anyone was gonna catch that reference  :sob:  glad you liked it homie, we definitely took a more story oriented approach with more to see and interact with this time. Where as in the past we focused a lot on mechanics and soundtrack. This was an absolute blast to craft sonically and are really glad you enjoyed it <3

Depths of Darvaza by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-04-30T02:09:31Z

@spadekhemoglobiny I was one of "few" beta testers so I can tell you this game is pretty difficult at times XD @ghost-in-the-toast still struck a great balance I think with the balance of risk vs. reward (with a cheese strat as well lol).

Depths of Darvaza by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-04-30T12:15:18Z

@spadekhemoglobiny oooh gotcha, yeah the character was meant to have some momentum, I remember commenting on the slippery feel lol

Depths of Darvaza by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-05-04T16:50:17Z

@bajtix @jandourek really glad you all enjoyed it! We focused a lot of atmosphere and the vibe this time rather than a mechanically focused jam like we have in the past. The game does end after the boss fight, so gz on a job well done! <3

Depths of Darvaza by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-05-05T01:28:19Z

@evn much appreciated! I actually didn't spend as much time as I usually do on the soundtrack, we heavily featured voice acting in this jam so that ate up a lot of time XD @ghost-in-the-toast would be the man to talk to about a web port :eyes:

Depths of Darvaza by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-05-07T22:22:56Z

@jvdwijk @spacialseasoning @mariszin @sheol @lisichka @amar-ravi @badabooom63 @etrealjunior thank you guys so much for all the amazing feedback! We're very proud of the work we put into LD48, again a big thanks to @tank for absolutely selling the role of the Foreman, if it wasn't for him Depths of Daravaza wouldn't have nearly shined as bright as it does. Again, thank you all for the very detailed feedback :)

-much love, Conduit :cloud_lightning:

Depths of Darvaza by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-05-09T01:52:44Z

@markopolodev one of our friends who tried the game had the same thing happen to him, unfortunately it seems to be one of the fatal game jam bugs  @etrealjunior OH MY GOD! This is absolutely STUNNING, thank you so much for the love

Depths of Darvaza by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-05-10T21:06:13Z

@euler-moises thank you so much for the kind words, I can speak for all involved that it was a sincere work of passion 😊 thank you again for playing!

Depths of Darvaza by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-05-11T16:28:50Z

@tessahardin thank you so much for the kind words <3 we're beyond glad you enjoyed our jam game

MEGADRILL by Corny 2021-05-04T22:50:25Z

This game was great! I liked the ability to get out and explore your environment on a "deeper" level ;P well thought out and exceptionally polished, I had a hard time adjusting to the controls but other than that I had a blast!

Bonbon and the Deep Below by ColinBellino 2021-04-27T18:31:10Z

Yo! Love the style and feel of the game, felt very frantic trying to get away from the mechanical beast! lol Loved Bonbon as well, definitely harkens back to the old days of video game mascots. Great submission!

Dante's Harvest by Wakobu 2021-04-29T11:30:17Z

Definitely enjoyed the game but man was it difficult XD felt like once the monsters got into the circle I had no chance of saving Vergil. The graphics and overall tone of the game was fantastically done though. Definitely a great entry!

Telekinetic kalamari by jandourek 2021-05-02T01:56:42Z

Yo, talk about some nostalgic graphics! The feel and visual style inspired me to think of timeless PSX titles like Ape Escape (maybe I'm just a sucker for PSX graphics but whatever XD). Gameplay felt great and was completely immersed in this jam. Excellent entry <3

Deep Asleep by Sestren 2021-05-04T18:43:08Z

Where do I begin with this one? Really felt like this entry had some real soul, I loved all the small interactions I had with the NPCs, especially the wi... *cough* wise old man with the infor.. *ahem* information XD the fight mechanics with the rising and falling values put a nice spin on a turn based battle system. Loved the oldschool audio as well. Fantastic entry <3

Deep Space Worm by TorchFire 2021-05-11T17:30:57Z

Yo that music is way oldschool! Absolutely loved it, the worm.io style gameplay with what felt like a Katamari Damacy twist was a really interesting concept. I wasn't sure if I won or not, I destroyed like 3 planets I think and couldn't find another one before I ran out of worm juice lol this was a great entry with some serious potential post jam! Great job you all :)

Down the rabbit hole by bbaf 2021-05-07T01:48:56Z

Loved the idea, although I felt like I could just spam until I could single out one of the big guys and hit em with that good history/science XD I found the concept really funny though. Great 3d entry :)

Dark Souls Tactics by antvelm 2021-05-03T17:13:39Z

The graphics and mood were amazing, loved the style but I had a really hard time letting that overtake the slow gameplay. Visually a great entry, gameplay wise could use a lot of improvement. An idea well worth pursuing!

loading... by PopDaddyGames 2021-05-03T20:58:31Z

Had a great time up until I wasn't paying attention and ran out of oxygen, took me about 15 minutes to get a reasonable distance from the ISS, which lent itself to how this would actually feel (I think lol) but definitely left me wanting. Loved the dialogue too, the lone astronaut recounting all their experience and making logs was a nice touch, but the audio was wayyyyy loud (I'd imagine from the distortion used to create the radio style sound?). Would highly recommend using a compressor/limiter to bring the level down. Overall good entry!

Dig the socials by badabooom63 2021-05-04T22:37:30Z

Holy smokes! Now this is taking "deeper and deeper" to a whole new level! I absolutely love the augmented reality spin on this, the artwork and overall tone reminded me of the original GTA. This has to be one of the most impressive jams I've EVER played. Definitely the most inventive and innovative jam I've ever seen. 5 stars.

*POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD*

BIG HOWEVER, I was super disappointed that I couldn't progress when prompted to join the Discord server (I assume this is due to an expired invite?). I've spent 10-15 minutes trying to figure out the clue, but I can't seem to progress the story even with the help function without access to Discord... I really wanted to finish this game and that one hick up really ripped me out of an invested experience... Hopefully you all will pursue something like this in the future and work out the kinks, because I was having an ABSOLUTE BLAST before that occurrence.

Club U.G. by kr0s 2021-05-11T16:55:30Z

I don't know if my rig might be out of date or what but it kept freezing on me and not responding either almost immediately during the intro dialogue or after I enter the caves :( not sure what I'm doing wrong but I really enjoyed the graphics and the dialogue set a really good tone for the game, kinda reminded me of a future version of National Geographic ;p

Club U.G. by kr0s 2021-05-13T23:41:24Z

@kr0s its no problem! I didn't mean anything ill by my comment, just wanted to let you know what happened :)

The New Rat King by Bajtix 2021-05-03T20:08:22Z

Love the graphics! Using the robot's neck was a really clever mechanic. Great entry! <3

My Dearest Daughter by Foursay 2021-04-29T11:17:05Z

An absolutely STUNNING art piece, brought me to tears with the audio, visuals and overall feel of the game. Absolutely well done, 5 stars.

Caverns by Gossian 2021-05-04T21:31:08Z

Love the artwork and music (the jazzy post modern vibes were an excellent touch) but the character was wayyyy too heavy to be making precise jumps like that. Fantastic art piece, didn't quite hit the mark for me as a video game.

Sub-Optimal by Spice Cabinet 2021-04-27T19:59:23Z

Yo! Definitely the funniest jam I've played yet  loved the dialogue and the idea of a sub sub lol definitely found it pretty challenging after lvl1 though and although being able to speed up the lines was helpful, I wish I could've skipped them altogether after the first round. Great entry with a nice lighthearted approach and loads of character!

Alice's fall by Brice Mahier 2021-05-11T18:12:50Z

Loved the graphics and audio, but found Alice far too slow to avoid the platforms that kill you... Maybe if the lantern fuel actually increased the radius beyond what is the current maximum? Just a suggestion if you decide to take this somewhere post jam :) visually and sonically though, this entry is flawless!

ATOMIC deepness by Kevin Meissner 2021-05-11T17:56:33Z

This was a sweet 3D entry, I liked how it took itself pretty seriously but still had a whimsical feel to it :) gameplay was pretty on par, nothing groundbreaking but I'm sure that was the point, especially considering the graphical work that went into this entry. Loved it top to bottom, great job <3

SUBMERGED by edog237x 2021-05-11T18:08:18Z

Loved the lighting effects! The design of all the alien creatures was really inspired and unique. Fantastic entry :)

Get Down! by picross 2021-05-03T19:36:34Z

Bruh! Talk about a 5 star entry! From the gameplay to the audio to the source material, flawless execution. Cheers to the entire team that put this together, beautifully done.

Get Down! by picross 2021-05-03T20:12:58Z

@picross it's my pleasure and much appreciated, I'm glad you all enjoyed it

Gone Dark by Theg 2021-05-03T19:11:13Z

Talk about an on edge experience! Controls took me a second to adjust to (but that's usually the case for me with flying space vehicles lol), other than that I felt invested in the objective. Unfortunately I must've zipped past whatever was at the center because I was booking it after I had enough fuel to get there  had a great time though, superb entry <3

Blackout by Frasse 2021-05-04T19:58:54Z

Played to completion and had an absolute blast! An exceptional level of polish here, from the gameplay to the art and audio. Absolutely stunning entry :) this looks like a commercial release in the making!

Fuel Run by Chase of Bass 2021-05-03T18:47:37Z

Dude! pixel art and tunes were excellent tone setters! Really felt an ominous vibe scooting around the level. This is something I'd really like to sing my teeth into as a post jam release. Well done!

Corporate Mole by JoeDev 2021-05-11T17:45:31Z

Talk about an entry with style  Idk what it was but pressing F to munch had me rolling lol loved this jam game top to bottom. Matched the theme fantastically, graphics were simplistic but incredibly charming, and the music and audio couldn't have been more appropriate. Stunning job to all who were involved :) <3

Fall by LostSense 2021-05-02T01:18:39Z

Loved the choices in items! Felt very frantic, I had a blast though. Great entry :)

The Deep Underneath by creepyface 2021-04-29T11:37:55Z

Yo! This is a charming entry with a lot of intrigue! Loved the Atari style graphics and audio. Only thing I felt slighted on was how enemies could see me from another screen, but it wasn't a huge deal (this is a game jam after all lol). Love how you spun the theme! Great entry :)

Aftermath by Peace Of Cake Games 2021-04-27T19:47:25Z

VENGANCE WITHOUT MURDER. Loved my first playthrough, had no idea the choices I made would've led to that outcome. Which was a very welcome surprise. Great entry homie!

Water Water Everywhere by Yuoh 2021-05-04T19:31:17Z

This is such an interesting concept, the artwork is simple yet sophisticated, and has an awesome spin on the theme, but the gameplay was quite frustrating to me. I had to reboot the game several times because I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing, I eventually got the camera to pan out after I heated then cooled the fridge but didn't get any water flowing from the room... I'm very much interested in what you all could do with this post jam. Great entry though :)

The Key by Zohar 2021-05-04T18:28:25Z

Talk about a charming entry, kinda reminded me of LSD Dream Emulator with the graphics and concept! Fantastic job, would've loved to have heard some voice acting but completely understand the redaction given the time constraints. Splendid entry :) <3

Get On My Level by LoreTV 2021-05-03T18:55:15Z

I've never felt so adequate with a watering can in my life lol jam definitely has some heart and could be an interesting concept to pursue. Well done! *edit* I thought the cover art was really clean, reminded me a bit of Portal :)

Bucket Hat by Edur 2021-05-11T18:20:25Z

I played the in-browser version, is there supposed to be audio? The whole time I was absolutely loving the gameplay and visual design but in the back of my head I was like, this would be STELLAR if it had even the simplest of 8bit tunes. For a first time player, this entry is absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to see what you come up with next jam :) <3

Sticky Diagnosis by made3 2021-05-04T20:52:00Z

Yo! big ups to @cephalo for commenting on one of my blog posts, not sure if I would've discovered this gem otherwise! Loved the graphics and entire concept of this entry. Had a blast trying to beat my previous score and upgrading my tongue depressor lol I have one important question though, why does this guy have teeth just hanging around on his tongue? XD fantastically done homies <3

DeeperOne by HandsomeShan 2021-05-11T17:22:12Z

I loved the challenge presented with this one! Graphics were really well done and unique. Aside from the title I'm not sure how it really tied in with the theme  My only gripe would be the lack of independent camera control, I felt like it was unnecessarily difficult to try to line up the camera for some of those tricky shots. Great entry though! I had a lot of fun :) <3

The Game by bonyet 2021-04-28T22:38:32Z

Loved the graphics homie! Movement was quite jarring and I died pretty quickly. Was still shooting as the skeleton  I'm sure that wasn't intended but found it humorous. A charming entry to say the least, can't wait to see what you all come up with next time!

A Frogs Tale by Gorethumb 2021-05-04T18:08:14Z

Loved the wall jumping and platforming, but the combat absolutely sucked me out of the experience. I also died and would get softlocked in the combat window. Mechanically it could've been better but the artwork and concept was absolutely amazing! Would love to see something post jam done with this idea. Also, I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but I couldn't hear any audio. Was just wondering since you guys are being rated in audio and didn't want to misjudge.

A Frogs Tale by Gorethumb 2021-05-05T01:27:02Z

@gorethumb I like the idea, now that I think about it maybe a Fire Emblem style system would work?

Space Cave by Timo Gass 2021-05-03T19:21:14Z

I made it 69m (nice) on my first run and died immediately on my second  lol loved the graphics and lighting effects. A great spin on Descent and the 6D of freedom subgenre, which fit the theme perfectly. *Audio engineer side note* I heard that FL dance kit :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Plague by Advay 2021-04-29T11:03:13Z

Agree with the aim-trainer vibes. Not so sure how I feel about the virus theme or how it relates to deeper and deeper. Felt like it was over super fast though! Really got ready for some quick firing action and was jarred when it was over so fast.

B.R.E.A.K - Bad Robot Enjoys Attacking Krew! by pxlshk 2021-05-04T18:35:44Z

Gameplay and graphics are exceptional! Not sure how it ties into the theme but I can tell a lot of effort and heart was put into this one. The walk cycle of the little robot homie was so silky smooth as well lol a solid entry!

Cave In by FireFart 2021-05-04T17:30:00Z

Wonderful concept, I loved the hit sfx, what was the sound source? I'm an audio nerd so I'm always wondering about that stuff lol. Charming little entry, great job homie <3

LD49 — Unstable

RoboCompounds by kuggenhoffen 2021-10-10T18:45:28Z

What a cool concept! I couldn't quite understand what I was supposed to do but moving around and throwing the chemicals around was super fun lol I also enjoyed the fx when something didn't work, an excellent touch.

Fool's Paradise by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-10-10T17:27:44Z

@fiote thank you for the kind words! And yeah we were cut short a day because work and stuff so we decided to go for more of an art piece centered around the theme lol thank you again for playing!

Fool's Paradise by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-10-13T01:20:28Z

@defectivemelon we're not sure why you can't, we must've mistakenly opted out during submission. Oh well, glad you enjoyed it!

Fool's Paradise by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-10-13T02:53:36Z

@craigalancarroll yooo! I'll 100% take that as a compliment. The 90s/00s are definitely my most influential eras in regards to video game soundtrack/electronic music. Thank you for the kind words <3

@sue perhaps one day we can fulfill our promise XD

Fool's Paradise by ghost-in-the-toast 2021-10-18T10:50:41Z

Thank you all for the love, it means a lot to us! <333

Occult Academy by homeworld 2021-10-17T20:06:52Z

Wow! Talk about an innovative jam. Loved the way you could manipulate your spells in the town. Overall, this is a well put together entry and would love to see this taken further! <3

COME ALIVE! by Angela He 2021-10-13T02:50:33Z

Firstly, I'm absolutely blown away by this artwork, how you did it by yourself in 72 hours is well beyond my ability to comprehend! lol The writing and character development was also out of this world. This has to be one of the most polished jams I've ever seen in terms of style and sheer expressiveness. Absolutely worthy of 5 stars <3

Unstable Wizarding by Emty 2021-10-13T00:34:05Z

Loved the models and layout of the dungeon. Some silly fx could've really brought this entry to the next level but as all jams some things just don't end up happening lol played it to the finish line and enjoyed myself along the way <3

Morning After by Martta 2021-10-17T21:50:55Z

Love the retro graphics! I played for about 10 minutes and couldn't find the painkillers? I'll be honest I started to get frustrated after having to go back to bed for the fifth or sixth time lol overall I think it fit the theme well, I wish I had the patience to finish but still a fun concept!

Unstable Genius by Doc Kaos 2021-10-18T21:15:15Z

What a stunning, adorable, weird, charming compo lol kinda gave me some Tim & Eric vibes (which is 100% a compliment imo lol) well done homie <3

Magic Miner by m_mae 2021-10-18T13:38:51Z

Yo! This was super fun! A touch that I really enjoyed was the unique crosshair effect when dashing, a fantastic little detail. Movement was smooth and the physics of the long range spell was fun to play with. Very well polished as well, definitely one of the more just fun games I've played this jam <3

Antstable by kakapoy 2021-10-13T01:01:48Z

That was stellar! Had an absolute blast, the audio was well balanced and well implemented and the physics were fun to play with. 5/5 <3

The TurnVille Mayor by LemmsG 2021-10-17T21:57:27Z

I actually played another jam similar to this already, I love this concept of managing a city/town while also balancing it at the same time lol Loved the graphics and lighthearted vibe of the whole thing. My one criticism would be how its a little finicky with the placement, I understand that selling and rebuilding is the workaround but I don't feel like that should be necessary just to build something new. Also, and maybe I just couldn't get the placement right, stacking the buildings would've been nice. Overall pretty sweet!

Shrodingor Unstablor Borgor by Tata_Yoz 2021-10-18T19:37:38Z

That. Was. Hilarious.

chaotic Room by TTU_HASAN 2021-10-18T14:55:55Z

Yo so first, I had a lot of frame rate issues while in fullscreen mode in browser, may have been my computer but idk. With that out of the way, I loved the idea and minimal style of this entry as well as mechanics. I had fun frantically aiming the ball and bouncing it around everywhere lol great job! <3

Euro Drunk Simulator by Tardif Adrian 2021-10-17T22:02:45Z

Tbh I don't mind the frame drops, its a ld game made in Unreal lol not gonna dock anyone for performance issues. The audio was something I particularly enjoyed, did you all program the engine noise yourself? Sounded really professional imo. I'm wondering if this was intentional but were the WASD controls being disabled and moving around on their own? Nice touch if so lol <3

Euro Drunk Simulator by Tardif Adrian 2021-10-18T10:51:19Z

@robin-dumoutier okay gotcha lol just wanted to make sure!

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Ride the Sauze by Meta-link 2022-04-13T17:51:53Z

Love the graphics in this! And a compo as well? :eyes: VERY NICE! I caught some serious air on a few of the hills which was really fun imo! My highscore was 69 (also nice)

Slingshot Probe by quadtree 2022-04-16T01:50:41Z

Love the physics in this one! Audio was neat and the graphics were effective! Well done <3

Attack of the Inevitable Vine! by Plasmonic 2022-04-16T01:53:29Z

Really enjoyed the graphics, but I couldn't move. Wish I could've got further in this one!

Manual Manny! by ghost-in-the-toast 2022-04-13T17:46:39Z

@eboatwright sound guy checking in, watching the homies get down coding this was stressful to watch :joy: Things on my end were also a bit funky having to use a tracker lol was a wild ride from start to finish! On behalf of the Ghost in the Toast team, thank you all for the feedback! <3

Catronaut by fatPenguin 2022-04-09T01:01:47Z

Really enjoyed the physics based movement. Audio was neat, would love some soundcloud links or something like that to listen outside of the game!

Come, eat, leave by KreGames 2022-04-16T02:01:22Z

This was such a creative entry! Liked what you all did here. However, some sort of sound effect for catching the locusts would've been nice. That's my only gripe though! Great job!

DATA OVERLOAD by PROJECTaroid 2022-04-09T15:14:35Z

Oh my god XD I don't think I've lol'd so hard with a jam game. I was expecting the ramp up but sheesh that was fun! Graphics and audio really fit the vibe, great entry! <3

Sandwich Drop by Renge 2022-04-09T15:30:49Z

Loved the writing and story XD gameplay felt smooth and the overall mood was really good. Not sure how it tied in with the theme, but had a great time nonetheless!

Last things. by KudneuS 2022-04-09T15:07:00Z

The graphics, audio and overall vibe of this jam was awesome! I couldn't quite figure out how to get the mechanic to work though. Even with that, I still enjoyed ghosting around! Great entry :)

Handbot in... Scrap Heap by DonnieDarko 2022-04-15T09:58:52Z

Such polish! I loved the little whirring the robot protagonist made lol Had a lot of fun scooting around in this one! Extremely well done!

QUIT GAME by Korvack 2022-04-09T15:44:33Z

Two words, FIVE STARS.

SAUCE by Woodpecker233 2022-04-15T10:05:24Z

This was much funnier than I expected! Had a good time defying the laws of physics keeping my sauce in the air  only thing I would've done differently is have the background change more frequently. Was really difficult seeing what progress I was making without taking my eyes off the game to look at the score, another visual indicator would've been nice. Overall a neat, fun little game! <3

LD53 — Delivery

Nuclear Hammer by ciderpunk 2023-05-07T00:05:26Z

I really enjoyed the physics of the weebles and the chaotic nature of it all. Could be a good game for Twitch/YouTube/live streaming integration!

5-STAR by Wendel Scardua 2023-05-05T03:16:23Z

Absolutely stellar NES vibes with this one, while the gameplay loop was a conventional one, it definitely felt like a case of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Also, the way the animals zoomed off with your food was really funny.

T.E.M.P.S (The Enchanted Multitasking Potion Shop) by salyon 2023-05-07T02:12:19Z

The visuals were absolutely stunning and I thought the minigames were totally in line with the theme of a wizard delivering potions. My one gripe would be the audio not quite matching the experience. Really well done nonetheless!

*edit*

If you lost the game on a fresh page, and got to the math section again, it would become unsolvable.

Ultimate Pigeon Post by Yorsh 2023-05-05T01:09:32Z

Very interesting mechanics, please please please run with this idea! Aesthetic was great and character design was also top notch. Great job!

eelBay by Peco 2023-05-11T22:50:04Z

Absolutely stellar puzzle game! It seemed very deep and complex, despite its cute aesthetic! I did feel at points, it seemed like the game "punished" me in a way if that makes sense? But overall a really fun experience!

Air Shipping by Hare Software 2023-05-05T02:42:52Z

10/10 experience! I loved the vibes and atmosphere of the entire game. It really sucked me into the environment, from the ambience and voice acting to the shifting sound design. Would love to see an expanded story mode?

oh no, you are the package by gn Fur 2023-05-05T01:47:30Z

Absolutely AMAZING concept! PLS DO NOT ABANDON THIS IDEA

Warmazon by Kaish 2023-05-04T22:55:48Z

Great concept! Loved the bullet hell aspect and the dialogue was really funny! 5/5!

Rhino Express by Mahjoub 2023-05-07T02:33:09Z

Absolutely amazing combo with loads of character and thoughtful game design! Would love to see something come of this! Outstanding job!

Pack 'Em Up by OgelGames 2023-05-07T04:37:48Z

For a 24 hour entry, that was really well done and a lot of fun! There's nothing I can really say negative about a plain and simple fun experience!

Bundle Dumper: Florida Edition by cheesepencil 2023-05-05T03:49:11Z

Stunning Pico game! Loved the vibe and interesting implementation of floor and ceiling boundaries. Great entry!

Juggle Mail by kuviman 2023-05-05T04:21:37Z

An incredibly simple yet addictive game! The juggling mechanic again, was simple but really made the experience. The visuals and sound design were something I really appreciated as well!

Fast Pack: Quick Delivery Training Program by helekopeter 2023-05-06T23:10:27Z

I really loved the frantic nature of this jam game! Was a lot of fun cruising around and trying to get the packages delivered as fast as possible. Great job!

Legal_Transactions.bat by johjoh 2023-05-07T01:40:57Z

This was one if not my favorite entry from LD53! I liked the combination of light bike gameplay with the RTS twist. 10/10 experience.

Popcorn Odyssey by 0X_VOID_X0 2023-05-07T23:34:42Z

I think the graphics and audio were top notch! The gameplay and mechanics were tried and true but fun to learn. My only gripes would be the way the visuals distorted(?) when you launched the kernel and the cheapish jebait at the end of the game. Overall very cute and adorable aesthetic. Would love to see something come of this!

Parcelmecium by Bokonon 2023-05-08T01:27:27Z

Loved the mechanics, graphics, and audio! The sfx were really gross but fit the game really well! Would be an interesting mobile experience if you took it all the way!

Paddy's Portage by Spacespytv 2023-05-07T22:31:09Z

First off, the audio/sfx were GOLDEN. Gameplay felt smooth and the puzzles were challenging enough to get the gears turning in the old brain. 10/10 experience, loved the aesthetic and would love to see this become a full release! xoxo -Conduit

Little Oni by chris1919 2023-05-05T01:33:27Z

10/10 experience, the mechanics were really innovative and the graphics and audio were a fantastic twist on video game's past. Can't say enough good things about this.

Meowxtape: Delivery by crow_seeds 2023-05-07T03:32:04Z

Chock full of character, loads of fun to play and interacting with the NPCs was really charming (BIG UPS ON THE VC BTW). I can tell you all put a lot of hard work making this a very artful experience and I'm mind boggled you did it all in 72 hours! My only critique would be giving the driving sections more screen real estate, as it felt a little too constrained.

Congrats on a fantastic jam!

Return back to sender by Migcreatesgames 2023-05-07T03:51:46Z

Overall, I think this was a great entry, the graphics were pleasing and the anti-theme was a clever twist. I did feel like things could've got more difficult as the game progressed but was still a delightful experience. GG!

Dynamic Drug Delivery by xsangyhix 2023-05-11T22:22:51Z

Loved the sfx! Very punchy and descriptive of the weapons' they were attached to. The gameplay was rock solid, however, something like a virus counter or a pointer to the final virus/virus cluster would be helpful.

Hell'o-Cargo by agudar 2023-05-04T23:20:02Z

Absolutely fantastic, 10/10 experience. Graphics were great, mechanics were great, everything was great. Thank you for making this!

Sinister Sauce Sippers by Sinclair 2023-05-05T02:20:02Z

I think this was a great spin on the RE/Alone in the Dark formula, I loved the character and graphics and thought the overall gameplay loop was really interesting.

Giggle Groove by badcop 2023-05-05T03:33:09Z

I really liked the spin on the rhythm game genre and I felt like it was really fitting of the theme. I thought the artwork and synthetic voices really made the experience.

Museum Exhibits by asasin56 2023-05-07T02:57:46Z

I thought it was interesting spin on the FNAF formula. Definitely had a creepy atmosphere for such a simple entry and the audio clip from the employer was a nice touch. I think packaging as a RAR file may not have been the best choice as everyone does not use WinRAR. Overall a very interesting jam entry, looking forward to seeing what you come up with in the future!

Crash Courier by Ategon 2023-05-07T04:51:27Z

A real challenge that made me want to keep playing longer than I probably should have! A fantastic aesthetic that fit the theme really well. Music was also top notch! GG on fantastic overall experience!

Idyll : Democracy delivery by DracoNox 2023-05-07T06:28:18Z

Absolutely stellar clicker! Both simple and complex, spent way too much time than I'd like to admit trying to get a planet XD a lovely and artful experience.

soul sender by aushijo 2023-05-11T22:36:01Z

Interesting game loop! I was both surprised and enjoyed the aspect of the people staying on screen after being delivered their soul, I didn't quite get that from the description, but was pleasantly surprised by that twist! Great jam!

Isles Express by Cinterre 2023-05-07T00:21:52Z

Absolutely stellar Pic-8 entry! The controls were challenging but a lot of fun to master! Thank you for knocking it out of the park with your game jam!

Screenshot 2023-05-06 201809.png

Sunset Delivery by nobiy 2023-05-07T23:54:28Z

Absolutely stellar aesthetic with the visuals and story. My one piece of critical feedback would be the game didn't quite let me spend the time I would've like to spend with the abilities/felt a little tame given it's runner style gameplay. Really great submission nonetheless!

Beak and Bundle by Aivaxela 2023-05-05T03:02:03Z

Very lovely aesthetic! Gameplay loop was really cool and I liked the shoot em up combined with the juggling. Made for some tense moments! Awesome entry!

Alien Elevator by nhcarter123 2023-05-07T22:06:19Z

Really cool concept! Loved the graphics and gameplay mechanics. It really felt like a cool spin on SimTower! Great compo!

RELEASE THE MEAT by NuiN 2023-05-07T01:19:54Z

I was really into the idea that I was a caveman making all of these deliveries. That aesthetic was really neat and I think you could take it somewhere! This style of game definitely has a tried and true formula, but I'd be interested in seeing what you come up with if you take to full release! GG on a great jam!

BANKWAVE: Neon Networth by Frabjous Studios 2023-05-05T00:07:56Z

First and foremost, the graphics, audio and premise were stellar. However, the Windows version kept crashing for me, around when the drone appeared. I tried multiple times to get past it and it just kept crashing. Pretty bummed I couldn't see more :( from what I did see, I really enjoyed though!

Westwick Street by niz 2023-05-07T01:52:10Z

SPOILERS:

The Hitchhiker really got me the first time she approached me. Really fun little horror experience, very well done!

Pizza Inspection & Shipping Service by Harrison Jones 2023-05-08T00:16:20Z

I really liked the picture you painted with this one! I liked the idea of there being a "pizza shortage" and the whole game being an acronym for piss XD well done, very funny, would love to see a fleshed out story!

Delivery G.U.I. by JpBaraky 2023-05-05T00:31:24Z

Fantastic vibe, I liked the moon lander inspiration, whether that was intentional or not, I think it benefited from that. However, I feel like it could've benefited from speedier movement, and less boxes to deal with. Overall a lot of fun though and great vibe!

Pack It Up by thomaspixelart 2023-05-07T04:24:38Z

I don't even know where to start, this entry was possibly the most polished entry I've seen yet. 5/5 on all categories without question.

LD55 — Summoning

Real Estate MoGhoul by terryg 2024-04-25T23:58:06Z

I thought the name and premise was funny, the blurbs on the side were also pretty funny. I was definitely confused by the gameplay loop, and even when I kinda got a grip on it, it felt repepative. It was still an interesting concept and I enjoyed the art.

I am a wizard and my shoulder hurts by monika 2024-04-26T03:45:16Z

This was a really charming and well written entry, being someone who doesn't really know anything about programming and loading files and whatnot, this was well worth the effort I made to get it goin'. The Playdate platform was unknown to me before this and is super cool! Thanks for an extremely unique entry :)

Danger Zone! by Romulo_Developer 2024-04-26T01:34:09Z

The song was really catchy and kept me engaged with the simple gameplay loop. Great entry!

The In Between by Adam Gallina 2024-04-16T04:02:46Z

I played the web version and scrolling over the items didn't tell me what they did so I went with the obvious pipes to help route the items. I do love the idea/concept but definitely struggled with trying to figure out how everything worked even with the tutorial.

Throes of the Javelin by MatterLinx 2024-04-26T00:44:21Z

Artwork, mechanics, sfx/music were all top notch. One of the better feeling LD games I've ever played. Was an honest challenge and felt rewarded when I accomplished a difficult jump.

Grandpa Ghost by AndresBochi 2024-04-16T03:15:53Z

Not sure what the point was beyond getting points from attacking the enemies but I really liked the graphical style and switching mechanic!

Summon Shuffleboard by thyoi 2024-04-26T01:48:24Z

Did it have anything to do with summoning? No. Was it still a stellar representation of shuffleboard with a superb level of polish? Absolutely yes. Thank you for finishing this and not giving up.

Infernal Ascension by Cosmo8 2024-04-26T02:59:34Z

Wonderful compo entry, mechanics and gameplay were top notch. I like how it challenged my way of thinking with the different abilities. The bossfight, while difficult, could've been much more manageable with a custom cursor or contrasting background. Also loved the particle effects of the exploding angels and fire! 10/10 entry

Witches Brew by delauraen 2024-04-16T03:53:02Z

Enjoyed the mood in this one! To be honest, the one thing that I was wishing was the ability to jump and/or sprint, I feel like that would've broken up the monotony of walking from place to place getting the ingredients. The ending was witty and funny, overall a decent mood!

Fantasy Lawyer: Thou Hast Been Served! by rich strange 2024-04-16T04:08:51Z

Played the HTML5 version and had a really good time! The graphics were simple but effective, wished there could've been some kind of sfx/music even if it was stock. I also loved the look of the characters. Great entry :)

Weedwacker by benjiehotwheels 2024-04-26T04:00:27Z

I really liked this premise, gameplay was fun and engaging. The lack of sfx kinda took me out but the graphics more than made up for it. Great entry!

Summoning Bumper by MatthiasBroske 2024-04-16T03:40:57Z

Loved the graphics in this! The shield mechanic is super cool, even if it's a bit difficult to get a grasp on. Got stuck on level 3 or 4, just couldn't make this one right to left jump lolol overall a really pleasant experience, also loved the music.

Summoned by Cshep99 2024-04-16T04:19:02Z

I adored the graphics, I wished the game could've challenged me more because it seemed like I had a reasonable toolset to work with. I saw in your desc that you didn't have time to make music/sfx and I would love to see a post jam version with sound! Thanks for a great entry!

Cult Day: For The Devil by Myerzinho 2024-04-16T03:30:56Z

I would've enjoyed this much more had I been able to skip the cutscene (which is super rad that you have any cutscenes, with stellar audio I might add). I felt very excited to get to the end game but was immediately stifled by the fact I had to watch that longish cutscene every time I performed an action. Other than that, 10/10 graphics, 10/10 audio and 10/10 premise!

LD57 — Depths

Bedrock Rush by superjai 2025-04-12T04:11:53Z

Very fun and easy game to pick up and play, felt like the mobile game Hill Climb Racer with the physics. Overall, a 10/10 experience and I love the online leaderboards! Also, the bad AI was hilarious to watch complete the races lol

Hadal by ColeSlaughter 2025-04-12T07:04:52Z

Loved the momentum based gameplay, really stylish and fun concept. I need to be able to buy this with real money on Steam ASAP! Getting a grip on the gameplay was really rewarding and I could tell this is the kind of game that is easy to learn but difficult to master. Flawless entry :blue_heart:

Nine Lives Deep by Simon Rahnasto 2025-04-21T06:37:41Z

I didn't even have to think about it. 5/5 across the board. So much polish and effective gameplay in 72 hours is astonishing. Such a fantastic entry, just wow.

Depth Connections: Mail from the Deep Realms by darefus 2025-04-21T04:40:24Z

The art style and mood were top notch, it would seem to me a lot of effort was put into that! The premise of the game also seemed really cool and I hope that you all can continue this idea in the future! Great entry :)

Deep Delve by P1x3lc0w 2025-04-21T06:56:33Z

I was a big fan of the audio and visuals, very old school! I couldn't find out how to buy things in the store however, which also brings me to my next point, which every item in the store was the same sword that I already had with the exception of a dagger in the first shop (which I couldn't afford lol). I had a really great time and was taken to a place of nostalgia with this entry! I probably would've kept playing had I figured out how to buy things lol

Spider Cave Offensive by Cardboard Box 2025-04-12T05:38:14Z

I was a sucker for the way the legs moved on the spider, such an interesting effect! I thought this was a fair yet challenging experience. 10/10!

Mr. Money's Phenomenally Soggy Water Removal Romp by Rhoka 2025-04-12T09:10:49Z

Absolute vibe machine. Would love to see this as a full release potentially with a few different maps and maybe a few more songs. Played this to completion and enjoyed every second of it. 5/5 across the board, amazing vibe, simple but fun gameplay loop, just great! Also, lil' guy was my most favorite ever. Hands down. No questions asked.

Dig in, Gus! by bigwhiteshogun 2025-04-12T07:38:45Z

Massive vibe with this one! The soft visuals paired with the relaxing music made exploring a real treat. I was also very impressed with the waypoint/compass that led me back to the starting platform. Great stuff! Would love to see this concept be developed further!

Metaspace II: The Long Division by Jahwffrey 2025-04-12T05:12:23Z

Long live Bad Engineer, you precious soul you. Loved all of the different overlapping elements that made losing still fun!

Into Enemy Depths by Asieke 2025-04-21T05:04:21Z

Nice tactical RPG vibe! I found that it was difficult to lose if you kept the priest with the knight (I also got softlocked once because both teams only had knights and priests left XD). Overall a solid TRPG experience, even stock audio would've taken this to the next level imo. Creative entry!

Yet Another Dream by Zatrit 2025-04-21T06:09:35Z

ORB. Loved the sprite work and dialogue, I couldn't quite figure out how to get past the blue orb boss lol I figure I didn't do something write because I kept getting stuck there lol some ambience, even stock, would've really helped with the vibe. Stylish entry!

From The Depths by Whysguy52 2025-04-21T06:20:11Z

Initial impressions, the game ran well, no crashes or the like! I liked the design for the main character and the bats, idk if there were other monsters I couldn't make it that far lol

A crosshair/reticle would've been helpful because I often found I didn't know where I was aiming. Secondly, I thought it was slightly annoying that when I blocked an enemy attack and lowered my shield, if they were close enough, I would still take damage.

Still a really cool idea and solid 3D entry, I hope you continue to run with this idea and maybe implement the ideas you had in the description! :)

I'm here!

Deep Sleep by TheSecondLeft 2025-04-21T05:32:34Z

(Legit Feedback)

This was great lol the absurdity of this game was next level, enjoyed finding all the weird things to interact with and enjoyed the retro vibes.

Question: were all the objects textured mapped by you all? I thought there was a really interesting variety of objects that I typically don't see in games so that would be really cool if you did!

Deep Sleep by TheSecondLeft 2025-04-21T06:20:44Z

@igor-korobeinikov that's tight! Fantastic work!

Range of behavior by MrAntoineSt 2025-04-12T05:52:59Z

I really liked the concept and the little audio bits made me chuckle  I am curious as to what this could become if you would've been able to utilize the full 72 hours or perhaps, spend some time on this post jam! Again, really cool concept and twist on the theme!

Hoard by Talif Moor 2025-04-12T07:21:49Z

The overall graphical style felt really lighthearted and fun, I think with some additional types of "junk" and quirky audio bits, this would really shine. Overall, very addictive and fun jam entry! Great work homie!

The Changes We Make by aaronjnc 2025-04-12T04:38:06Z

Yo! Tried playing the game, but unfortunately could not. The Windows download was not found and the HTML5 version did not load :c hope to check this one out again soon!

Rock Bottom by CptNero 2025-04-12T06:42:16Z

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this entry, the idea and concept compelled me to explore everywhere for the coins so I could gamba, but ended up softlocking myself after spending all my money on gamba and booze for the snail(?) overall, a cool vibe that reminded me of something like an eastern European Shenmue. Great entry!

The Stairwell Anomaly by Alex Mironchuk 2025-04-21T05:41:46Z

I got a blue screen for my ending, not sure why :p definitely didn't have anything to do with breaking the game! Loved the atmosphere, walking up or down stairs in a horror game is always a fright. Smooth entry!

@wakobu I hope you liked the boss music! :sunglasses:

Monster Lake by ghost-in-the-toast 2025-10-10T00:03:56Z

@archarognathus it isn't a bug, it is possible to play the tape! You have to look around to find the way to play it, I won't say more as to not spoil :p

Don Trickle the Taxmaster by Wakobu 2025-10-13T16:03:01Z

Had a lot of fun with this one! I really liked the art style and the simple sound effects did the job very well. My one piece of criticism was the pacing. I don't know how many free upgrades there were but I really struggled to get any meaningful upgrades before the game ramped up. I thought the bubble attack was really funny as well :) cool entry!

Shape Collector by rhewid 2025-10-13T15:41:04Z

Super simple but super addictive! I am really impressed how you took this concept and turned it into a full on roguelike experience. Top notch!

Head Count by Langotriel 2025-10-12T09:27:06Z

This game is dripping with style! Gameplay loop reminded me of a simpler Hotline Miami, which considering the nature of the Jam is perfectly fine. I was in love with the tunes and artwork, however, the SFX kinda stood out in a weird way to me. Maybe processing them together with the same FX to glue them together? No matter, I had a blast from start to finish. The credits were super charming as well :)

Do Scrap Together by Heiden.BZR 2025-10-09T00:11:33Z

Played local coop over Parsec with GhostintheToast and had a pretty decent time! Super cool that you had multiplayer and the idea is rock solid! Hope this goes somewhere in the future, this style of coop game is always good fun :)

Open. Owe. Repeat. by DariZz 2025-10-12T10:20:23Z

This was such a tight concept! Loved the frantic gameplay and was always looking forward to what the next collectable would look like lol 10/10!

Had a good ol time with this one! I had to relaunch the game the first time since it wouldn't let me go out lol but after that I really enjoyed my time with the little exploration bits. I liked the graphics and audio, just really felt homey even in the apocalyptic setting.

This honestly seems like a really cool mashup of genres that I would really like to see as a full game! Well done!

To Serve Collectors🍽️ by Tan90 2025-10-13T16:16:49Z

The artwork and audio (the "OH NO" was hilarious) were absolutely stunning. I saw that you've already received feedback on it, but yes, the conveyor belt in 1.0 definitely made my eyes hurt XD

2.0 was much nicer, I think it's not just the speed but the belt is matching the speed of the plates. Again, fantastic entry with fantastic art!

Collect Star Dust β˜… ζ”Άι›†ζ˜Ÿε°˜ by fan 2025-10-09T00:33:37Z

Loved the artwork and the bag mechanic was really interesting! The audio looping kinda tripped me out a little bit but I liked that as well, felt very urgent and emotional. I found myself using the minimap pretty much the entire time because of the extra zoom, which made me feel like the default view should've been zoomed out like that. I also had a difficult time gauging the vacuum power. Really had a fantastic time overall despite criticisms!

Wavelength Collector by andriybyelikov 2025-10-12T10:54:55Z

This is such a cool demo! I really wonder where you could go with this concept, seems endless to me! Great work :)

Marble Trouble by mooyett 2025-10-08T22:29:02Z

This was tight! Felt very nostalgic, loved all the marble type games from the 90s lol anyway, the music was hands down my favorite part of this experience. 10/10!

Crazy Trashy by bearcage 2025-10-13T15:19:40Z

The Wilhelm scream will never not be funny lol this was a fun spin on old school GTA imo! The collecting blood twist was really funny too XD

I played the HTML version and couldn't get the "appendages", I'm not sure if it just didn't make it in or what, but I still had a great time.

One thing I would've changed is waiting to reveal the blood meter until after you collect someone or run them over, I just feel like it would've been more impactful finding that mechanic out that way.

Wonderful entry! Very colorful and creative :)

Mars Rovers by Blazerker 2025-10-12T10:42:45Z

This is such a cool concept! I had a good time mapping out the route in my head, and watching reality unfold when I inadvertently failed the mission by ramming my collector into the gems lol a little bit of ambience and fine tuning on the SFX and this would be a top notch puzzle game imo!

Relica by KataStudios 2025-10-08T23:43:47Z

Screenshot 2025-10-08 191807.png

This game plays like how it feels to try to run in a dream

I had a blast with the first 5-10 minutes Just goofing around outside of the dungeon. However, when I finally went inside I had I tough time with the combat and couldn't figure out what to do with the treasure. I tried smashing it to open it and I couldn't return it to the relic depositor. Overall I had a lot of fun messing around with the movement and see what you were going for! I also really liked the characters lol

Well done :)

Crumbled Legs by oxbuddulaj 2025-10-13T01:03:41Z

I liked the vibe and running from the enemy definitely set me on edge. However, I kept getting stuck only being able to jump when I fell inside the dungeon? I'm not sure if that was intentional, and I also couldn't interact with any bones. Rock solid vibe and concept though!

Broke girl by IraMuslova 2025-10-08T22:17:53Z

Cool graphics! I was confused by the way the game zoomed in all the scenes. I don't speak Russian but I'd say there's quite the story here!

Limb by Limb by Electric Sun 2025-10-09T01:37:09Z

Loved the design of the main character! The final boss really had me tweaking but I did it and escaped! XD had a 29 minute clear time! Really clean and solid entry :)

Eclipsera by makaron433 2025-10-12T09:39:52Z

Loved the art and vibe! The gameplay was definitely not all that great, with some time and polish I think this could be a sweet little platformer!

SPIRAL by Shram 2025-10-09T01:03:38Z

Rock solid atmosphere and vibe. The world felt good to move around in and the implied story was interesting and thought provoking. I'm not entirely sure how it fit the theme but was a really cool experience nonetheless! Reminded me of Half Life and other late 90s/early 00s 3D FPS :)

Taxitax by Automathan 2025-10-08T22:50:19Z

I loved this! Graphics and audio were mad cool. Definitely fits the theme well with the frantic Crazy Taxi-like gameplay. Fantastic entry!

METALOBAZA by Dunitru 2025-10-13T01:52:17Z

Really liked the graphics and audio, I softlocked myself at the second storage station by not storing two boxes at the first lol charming entry!

Ziggy Zapper and the Robot Factory by rogual 2026-04-26T09:40:32Z

Wonderful graphics and sound design, wonderful wonderful homage to classics like Chip's Challenge and Sokoban. Well done :)

Coherence by bentglasstube 2026-04-26T09:20:21Z

This was tight, I really enjoyed the minimal atmosphere, it made me feel like I was stuck in space! I liked the oldschool graphics, it felt like I was playing an old Atari game which was refreshing :) well done!

Signal's Shift by Snowdrama 2026-05-02T04:39:44Z

I am a sucker for waveform puzzles so this was really cool to me! I can see how it can be confusing to some, based on feedback I've seen, but I guess it wouldn't really be a puzzle if it wasn't somewhat difficult lol

The platforming, music and SFX were all solid, although as a sound designer/arranger I felt the music loop could've used a bit more sauce, and the jump fx could've used some high pass filtering, light reverb and upwards pitching to make it seem more distant/small.

Thank you all for the stellar feedback! Ghost and I revisited shmups for this Dare mainly because that was the genre we picked for our first Dare together. It was really cool seeing how far we've came. I'm sure I can speak for both of us that we're super happy with all the feedback we've received and glad so many people enjoyed Aurora 4 Prelude! :)

TellyBuddy by ColeSlaughter 2026-04-26T10:10:43Z

I can't say anything more beyond what has already been said about this jam, absolute gem. This was by far the most impressive jam I've seen for LD59.

NAOS 750 AM by niterich 2026-04-26T06:06:06Z

This was a wonderful concept, felt like Simon Says meets Desert Bus! Absolutely stellar vibe with unique gameplay. Well done!

Crossed Wires by Zigtalk 2026-05-02T04:05:37Z

This was a really unique spin on something I never even thought a game could be made out of! It was fun using the context clues to assemble the messages. The only critique I would have would be the redactions not being removed after everything was assembled. I guess I kind of expected that to happen so there would be a sort of resolution to the puzzle in that way? Regardless, a fantastic, chill, and good vibe puzzler jam game c: well done!

Rail Rush by Sharky3188 2026-04-26T04:32:25Z

Excellent mood. Albeit the gameplay was really frantic, the atmosphere was really relaxing. I can see myself really investing a lot of time in a game like this, especially if it had a lot of features. Would love to see what else you could do with this concept!

Dragonia Siege by Euler Moises 2026-04-26T04:02:35Z

This was super cool and was dripping in oldschool NES flair! One of the secrets had me scratching my head but it was really cool when I got it! Well done and the oldschool manual pages were really neat!

Green Mike's Bootlegs by Skleembof 2026-05-02T03:51:03Z

This was a lot of fun! I played on gamepad and thoroughly enjoyed the movement jank XD felt like a fun little spin on the video store sims that have been coming out lately. The movie names were also funny, and I thought the telekinesis mechanic was cool! Well done! c:

Fission Quest by Jahwffrey 2026-05-02T07:59:58Z

This was unbelievably cool, from the cutscenes to the anims. Dripping in style and flair. Absolutely job well done on a fantastic and artful piece! My only critique would be the absence of any kind of music, I just feel like a little bit of whimsy would've gone a huge distance. Still though, 5/5 overall experience!

Signal Surfer by hulien22 2026-05-02T06:42:25Z

I have never in my days seen such a concept come to life like this. I had a blast making a fool out of myself making weird noises to get the correct path to the flag lol

I definitely did not calibrate the mic correctly but still had a great time regardless. This has to be one of the best ideas to come out of this jam hands down. Also, the background reminded me of Uniracers for SNES, just a fun little anecdote XD thanks and well done!

Space Pawn Space Shop by bjornstenlund 2026-04-26T07:34:54Z

Game's graphics and style were top notch! I loved all the radio stations, I took an entire playthrough just to listen to the songs 10/10 in the audio department. Gameplay was simple yet fun, although there were many times I couldn't give anyone anything because I was waiting on the correct items. Overall one of my favorite entries so far! Well done :)

The Depths Listen by Forik 2026-04-26T10:46:37Z

First puzzle with the cypher was absolutely way too difficult to wrap my brain around, thankfully someone in my Twitch chat (forik2628 shoutout lol) was able to give me the solution. After that, it immediately brought me back into the atmosphere. Really stellar creation, but please don't put the hardest puzzle at the beginning again XD well done and thanks for your entry!

Haberdashery Rhythm Assault by Asieke 2026-05-02T06:21:22Z

I'll start by saying my expectations were probably too high given the nature of the jam, but I was anticipating some form of music to help guide me along this experience. I can see it as a combination of a rhythm game plus a mechanical tutorial (I was getting Hollow Knight vibes in that regard). But I found it not as fun because I had no real way to kind of keep with the rhythm other than in my head. The pixel art is exquisite, however. Absolutely stunning job there! Thanks for the game and well done :)

Kessler Co by Grizwhirl 2026-05-02T05:26:44Z

I really really like the concept of this game, first and foremost. I think it would benefit greatly being in 3D though, if you wanted to continue development post jam imo. In regards to the jam version, I think some machine noise/static could've improved the mood inside the "module" or wherever our character is lol anyway, this concept is really cool and worth pursuing I think! well done! c:

Traffic Control by Alec Cunningham 2026-05-02T05:35:50Z

This possibly the most chaotic Combo I've ever played, well done. Thank you so much for an amazing time lol I actually felt good about trying to figure out the system even though everything was always falling apart, thankfully it wasn't very punishing XD

Behind the Noise by Kabbi 2026-04-26T06:49:20Z

Cool idea with good execution! Definitely got through it pretty quickly but I enjoyed the concept presented in the description! Well done!

SIGMAIL SPACE BOSS by Ticrum 2026-05-02T05:54:34Z

I liked the style and the concept, but man those controls were wonky! I also couldn't figure out how to shoot or actually deliver the mail without crashing. Well done thanks for the game! :)

Last Writes by orangeoceans 2026-04-26T08:47:26Z

This is such a mind blowing concept, using audio as a puzzle mechanic was really sweet. I had a lot of trouble, and ended up skipping because of it, with Ode One Out. Idk why but I couldn't find the sequence with the correct note, even though I matched the tempo. Being a musician/producer/sound engineer, this entry scratched my brain real good! I think this would be an interesting and roundabout way to teach people music theory on a basic level in a really interesting way. Well done!

RESCUE by Petr Vejchoda 2026-05-02T06:09:48Z

For getting the job done in functionally 24 hours, this is a good proof of concept! Well done and would love to see where you take this idea! c:

dBm by summerfield 2026-04-26T05:09:58Z

Sound design and mechanic was really nail biting! The spacial audio with the monster and the obnoxiously loud relay boxes had me NERVOUS XD overall great entry and adherence to the theme!

THE MYSTERIOUS DEVICE by Itero Proto 2026-04-26T07:02:44Z

I felt this game was very whimsical and had a big 2000s flash inspired flavor! the controls also reminded me of that time in gaming and I just a good, albeit short and sweet, time with it. Well done and thanks for the cool game! I got the good ending btw

Sidenote: The itch HTML5 version was broken on my end, I'm using Google Chrome

White Silence by KindergartenIncinerator 2026-04-26T06:42:52Z

I'm going to echo what a lot of others are saying here, the game's vibe and atmosphere were extremely creepy and created a lot of unease. I felt the glitchy filter on the camera was a bit unnecessary and didn't lend to the game's minimalist style. I also didn't understand the voice sometimes, but when I did, it was really freaky! Well done on a super minimal yet uneasy atmosphere!

Signals of God by Geeni 2026-04-26T07:53:48Z

I love the absurd nature of this jam, very in tune with games like Hylics (which is a big favorite of mine). I really just loved the open ended nature of what I was experiencing. Would love to see more from this concept! Well done!

No life detected by shimiki 2026-05-02T06:02:14Z

Wonderful art and story building, would love to see what this lil fella ends up doing and whether or not he finds life on the planet! Can't say enough about the artwork and audio, it just all blended really well. The writing pulled me in to the whole scenario, it was just cool! Well done and thank you for the game c:

Signimal by FrowsyFrog 2026-04-26T04:49:59Z

Wow! The Presidential Race Of Glorbus-12B (Signal) by ChknTikka 2026-04-26T05:48:40Z

I thought the responses and gestures were really silly and caught on to the gameplay loop rather quickly. I can see where this idea was heading and would love to see more! Thanks for making this!
