ok so the screenshot are very misleading because the animation is great in this. very fluid, the music creates just the right feeling and man the end... not going to spoil it so just give it a try
sorry it took so long for me to drop a comment, but honestly i couldn't stop playing this on stream it was that good
it was really fun, my feedback would be it was a bummer there was no background music but all in all very well polished
overall loved the art i thought it was a great concept based on the theme great work on thinking outside the box
i liked how you went outside the box with this game, the controls are a little tricky and dont always follow the mouse when you are attacking, maybe i was in a combo though
my only complaint is i cant give 6 stars for humor
this was all around a great game and I was very happy to be able to play it. great art/music and mechanics
it was a solid grid based movement, although i do not know what exactly the items at the shop were for

i liked the art, I thought the firing and combat was not bad either but i was playing the browser version not sure if that makes a difference
ah why is humor not a rating category here? this by far game me one of the best laughs of the jam and rightly so! i had a good time playing it and i am definitely on the lookout for more games from you.
this was an interesting game, the controls were something very new to me for a racing game so it took some getting used to. overall i thought it was a great concept
there were a few quality of life things i felt the game could benefit from, for instance when reaching the end point of the dungeon rooms you should spawn back there or spawn back with full health. i liked the ideas for the enemies very creative and a lot of depth for such a short span of time
Rex I loved having you come by the stream it was great. the mechanics in this tech demo have a lot of potential and I hope you take the experiences learned to develop something awesome!
i enjoyed the graphics on this game, overall i thought the game play was challenging and a fun experience
the dialog was great lol, lucky for me i had my ps4 controller close by and i was able to play through with that like recommended. overall the game play was solid
sorry it took so long to write up the comment, i like the perspective you took on the game. it was subtle at the end to get it correct. great job on getting this completed and you should be proud of yourself for getting it done.
this was just such a cute game, my daughter is never going to give the computer back now....
good work on being able to complete this. it was an interesting play through with the auto generated environment, the dodges would be tight at some points.
great job on the lighting in this game i liked the oreboys mostly because it is so fun to say lol, some added features like sneaking would be great to get the jump on them
sorry it took so long to drop a comment. overall awesome first game on a modern engine and you are coming from the assembly days how crazy is that? issues encountered, the death and reset of enemies wasn't present which made it a bit harder than expected and sometimes the enemy projectiles wouldn't kill me. but overall i am excited to see more games from you
@conduit it was definitely a case of over scoping, no audio, question though did the idea of a turn based combat mesh at all with you?
I really am happy for you to take on such LD as your first ever game jam. I hope you continue to develop more in the future and I liked the lighting effects!
