Looks great, and menus/UI is really well done, but I can't work out what I'm supposed to do...

Looks great, and menus/UI is really well done, but I can't work out what I'm supposed to do...
I can't seem to get it to work, all of the levels are just a few cubes falling forever, until they disappear off screen...
Really great game, but could do with some more information about what each body part does when you sacrifice it, as some of them seemed to not do anything.
Ah, so that's where those sounds came from... :D
Nice game, I really like the simple design.
Quite nice, though gameplay is very slow to start...
Nice, my favorite bit was that the robots could you just by waving their arms!
Really nice!
Awesome game, really liked the strategic gameplay, good work
Great game, I really liked the way the player's arms move!
insta002.gif
@alphabetasoup Thanks for the suggestions!
I agree that the coins pickup sound is a bit harsh, but unfortunately it was created before I realized how often it would be playing.
As for the pigs, they do actually take coins from you, but due to the lack of time, I wasn't able to add and animations or sounds to it, so it's hard to notice.
@preda No, it's an endless game, but it gets continually harder with the number of enemies and their spawn rate increasing by about 20% each wave.
@thestartlestare Thanks, that was actually accidental, as I had intended for the coin to not even collide with the pigs, but I decided to leave it in because it seem more realistic than having them go through the pigs.
@skylark721 Thanks, I was planning on adding different enemies, but I ran out of time, so definitely something for a future update.
@johnnysix Yes, I will definitely continue, and I will most likely release an update shortly after, with all the things that didn't make it into the game added in.
@tommyflower Thanks for the detailed feedback!
@raphiell Thanks, the pigs actually don't currently do anything to the coins, but I certainly could add it in...
@mags Thanks, glad to see you got to the fun part :)
@koemeterion Thanks, more enemies will be one of the main changes in the post-jam update.
@keyurrana Thanks, I just released a small update to the game that addresses the coin pickup sound: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/everything-is-money/minor-update
@orangejuicepanda thanks.
@loveapplegames thanks, balancing was one of the things most impacted by the time limit.
@anandhi thanks, no there is no limit to the number of coins, except maybe the constraints of the text box :D
Awesome game, really well made too!
Cool game, really fun! I do agree with @mrdrakert though, it becomes far too easy once you max out your upgrades...
Great game, really interesting idea, but it doesn't really seem to fit the theme at all...
Nice idea, and quite fun, but I'm not really sure how it relates to the "currency" part of the theme...
Gameplay was a little confusing a first, but it was quite fun once I got use to it, until I got stuck on an island with nothing to do and no idea how to get off...
Really interesting concept, and quite fun too!
Things I liked: - Color switching mechanic - Simple one-button gameplay - Main menu design
Things that could be improved: - Sounds effects - the lack of sounds effects really made the game feel somewhat empty, adding even just a few sounds for would make it so much better. - Main menu - though I really liked the way the character runs near the button, I think adding some kind of animation to the buttons themselves would make it feel more responsive.
Overall I think it's a great idea, and I'm glad you'll continue developing it, as it could make for a really fun game.
Really nice game, graphics look great! I kept getting stuck at the green cannon, but from what I did get to play, I really liked it
Really cool concept, and a great game too, the gameplay is a bit repetitive, but it's still fun
BTW, you might want to check the import settings on the sprite for the building, it's a bit blurry...
Interesting game, I died within about 2 seconds on my first run, before I realized what I was actually controlling, after that it was quite good
Fun game, fits the theme perfectly too.
Nice game, took a bit to get used to the jumping, but it was quite easy to control once I got the hang of it.
Amazing game, very immersive, and the graphics were beautiful... Only criticism I have is that the small plants/grass were very bumpy to walk over, probably would have been better to remove the colliders on those.
Nice game, I got a bit stuck at first because I didn't realize i needed to add workers, but once I got the hang of it, it was great
@antoined73 Thanks, the counters were supposed to be for keeping track of the blocks gained from other bots, but of course that part was left out, so the counters were not used. Probably should have put an infinite symbols instead of just zeros...
@zhorky Hmm, maybe a camera positioning glitch...
@nax-89 That's a perfect description of the current state of the game - a demo!
@webox I'll definitely be continuing to develop the game, I'm not letting it fall to the same fate as my previous game, I have far too many cool ideas to do that!
@danielcmcg Rotatable blocks was a feature that almost made it into the game, I even had made the alternate sprites for it.
@miu Thanks!
@catie-jo  I will be releasing an updated version sometime next week, with all the stuff that I had planned on including in the jam version.
Neither the WebGL or the Windows version seemed to work properly for me, I got stuck on the first planet with only 1 fuel every time...
Every time I played, I would see the tutorial (which as you said was very glitchy), then the enemy would approach, and I would destroy it, and get 1 fuel, but after that I couldn't do anything, except interact with the spaceship, and end the run (because it seemed to require 3 fuel to launch).
Nice little platformer, the jumping [could be improved](https://tinyurl.com/y37wtr6t), but overall I liked it
Amazing game, would make for a great mobile app if swipe control was added
Really nice and simple game, and cute too  Some sound effects would have been nice, but not having them didn't detract from the fun.
Cool game, I didn't get past the second level, so it could be a bit easier, but it seems like a very well made game otherwise
Really great game, I also experienced the bug where the pet left the map, but that actually made it more fun for me, I ended up having to stop myself from playing it
flame.gif
Really nice game, and great concept, it took me a few tries to get used to the controls, but I found it quite fun!
Nice game, but it was a bit too easy in my opinion, I simply constructed a thick wall of obsidian around the loot and nothing could get through...
@untitled-studios Thanks, glad you enjoyed it anyway
@jusw85 Yes, the cake is the ending, for now at least...
@zeggamer Yeah, it is missing some feedback there, at the time I wasn't really sure what to do with that.
@honey-pony Thanks for the detailed feedback, you made some good points there, definitely something I'll think about when working on the updated version.
@crishnate Yes, I agree that the background is very plain, but I actually spent almost half a day of the jam trying to find something better, and ended up sticking to a plain color because it seemed to suit the art style. Still, it's something I'll consider when I'm working on the post-jam version
Great game, the tutorial was done really well! I got stuck at the spike tunnel right after the tutorial, so maybe a slightly less drastic change in difficulty would be better...
Really cool little game, had a lot of fun! Only minor criticism is the difficulty curve felt a bit steep, as it started out really easy before getting really difficult.
Really fun game, great sound effects and music, and quite addicting! One thing I would suggest is to make the collision boxes a bit more forgiving, many times I crashed by touching the side of a rock I thought I had already avoided :P
I also agree with @wujood, a leaderboard would be great. ([dreamlo](http://dreamlo.com/) is a good free one)
Nice little game, it was a bit confusing to start, but once I realized I could buy more time (if only that was possible irl...) it was fun, and I managed to buy all the upgrades :)
Cool game, the elevator was a bit hard to control, but I still had fun! Also the music was great, don't usually see (or rather hear) so much work put into music far a jam game!
Awesome game, really liked the unique 3d in 2d mechanic, unfortunately I couldn't get past here:
Untitled.png
Cool way of doing a mining game, would be awesome if it was expanded with other blocks, as it gets a bit repetitive after a few "levels". I liked how you included the tutorial too!
Great (though short) puzzle game, the third puzzle was a bit hard compared to the others, but otherwise I had fun! I liked the ending too :D
Very difficult but very fun game, I even I managed to get past 50m, once... :D
This is a really good game, it gets pretty hard quick, but that's understandable for a jam game with not many levels ~~(I assume, I haven't managed to complete it, yet...)~~
Also great to play a game with snappy platforming :D
Edit: GG ;)
Nice looking game, but it was hard to know what to do or where to go, and it felt like there was not enough interaction in the levels.
Nice game, the shop was not the most obvious to find, but I'm glad I found it and was able to see what the jumping upgrade did :) Other than that, the only thing it was really lacking was sounds, which would have made it a lot better.
@jetthesimon Yes, the procedural generation and destructible terrain were the main focus, an upgrade system was planned, but unfortunately some bugs stole the last bit of time I had. As for the digging, that was just a lack of playtesting, I also feel the same after playing it a few times :D
@wizard-sino Nice! :cake:
@squigglez Yeah, there seems to be some bug with the physics of the tilemaps in Godot, not sure if it's caused by the way I used them (or my code), or if it's an engine bug... Happy you had fun anyway :)
@doot Thanks, there was going to be npc's at the surface, where you would sell what you dug and buy upgrades, that was where the values of the ores was going to be.
npcs.png
@tad Thanks, I think the laggy parts have something to do with the tilemap used to create the ground, still haven't figured out exactly what though...
@rovernoon Thanks for the feedback!
@minibetrayal Sorry you didn't get to play it fully, thanks for playing it anyway :)
@revilo It's based on how long you take to get to a million, the quicker you are the higher the score. I probably should have included a timer in the game, or at least showed the time at the end...
@rubenwardy Thanks, and hi :)
@leorid I so should have put another secret on the other side :D
@ausstein Thanks so much for playing! You're actually not the only one that has missed the block placing, somehow it's not as obvious as it should be...
@caveman54 ~~Interesting, it works based on a timer, not framerate...~~ Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it :)
EDIT: Actually framerate still does effect it anyway ;D
Fun game, for me the graphics were a bit too flat, but otherwise it was great, with only slightly too hard enemies :D
Really cool game, managed to complete it only looking at the solutions for the ssh and cipher puzzles, and had a lot of fun!
Fun concept, the missile was a bit tough to control (probably didn't need roll), but it was fun to "drift" around corners :)
Nice game, I liked the digging mechanic (similar to my game), but I think I played the game wrong... (I did complete it though)
gravedigger.gif
Nice game, probably needs more "game juice" like screen shake, and an increase to the damage the player does, as the player felt (and was) very weak compared to the enemies, especially considering the size of shotgun :D
Here's a great video to watch about fun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7L1B5YaxxoA
Fun game, the animations for putting stuff away were hilariously unrealistic, only minor criticism is the music at the end is too loud.
Nice game, the graphics were simple but good enough, and the sounds and music were good too. Only criticism would be that the harder enemies were a LOT harder, so could do with some balancing.
Does what it says on the tin, and does it just well enough to be enjoyable. I particularly liked that the second-to-last upgrade was invisibility :D
Ah yes, I totally expected to get eaten by a water-walking yeti! Funny game!
Simple, polished, awesome. Nice work!
Really great game, and quite well balanced too. Only thing I think is missing is something at the end when the monument gets placed, I feel like that should be celebrated a lot more, rather than "just another building".
Great looking game, but also very hard! Only managed to complete the first two levels, the perspective makes it hard to visualize the moves to solve the puzzles. Otherwise a really great game!
Awesome game, awesome ending, very fun! Best game I've played so far!
@gibss They both only do 1 damage; the metal boxes do damage when they move to a tile, and the player does damage when they leave a tile. It had to be made like that to avoid the problem of the boxes destroying the tile the player is supposed to move to.
@fupi Nice! I'm glad the levels turned out good, after I left myself only a few hours to make them :D
@stellarluminant Thanks! I guess that's something for a post-jam version if you make one :)
@doc-kaos Level 7 is actually there to show you the door-blocking mechanic used in the final two levels. Looking at it now I probably could have done it in a less obvious way...
@brads-space Thanks, I'm a big fan of the "invisible tutorial", nice to know it worked as intended :)
@magic-mike Yeah, it was supposed to be more focused on the floor-breaking mechanic, but I ended up straying away from it a bit too far when designing the levels.
@geckoo1337 Thanks, good Sokoban game too :)
@pdotjpg Thanks, I had a look at your game, still haven't finished it yet :D I agree the levels underuse the main mechanic, but I blame that on time pressure; the doors and box-pushing were just a lot easier to make levels with xD
Adding a leaderboard was a good choice, it really makes you get addicted to it xD
Awesome game, really unique mechanic! Other than the one time a block got flung into space (along with the camera :P) it was really smooth to play. Had fun playing and managed to get a perfect score too :D
Nice game. Quite fun, though it lacks any goal or end score, and smashing into things *could* have been made a bit more satisfying... :)
Oh, and the exit button doesn't work. (at least not for me)
Who knew pooping needed such skills... xD Too me a few tries to realize how the gauge worked, but once I figured that out it was hilarious and fun!
Simple but fun little game. I think the health bars were a bit redundant, and probably wouldn't be needed at all if the ice textures were made more distinct, but otherwise it was great :)
Fun concept, but the driving felt quite clunky to me, I think the collisions need to be more slippery, so that you don't loose all your speed and have to reverse after hitting something.
Nice game, but I think there needs to be more choice, like maybe picking one of two cards instead of just being given the one card.
I played it for a bit until I got a good run, idk if this is the best score, but I did get to the "boss" character.
Capture.PNG
Really nice game, the platforming was well made, though it might have been better if it was slightly slower, I found myself tapping the controls a lot trying not to move too far.
This game had way more depth than I was expecting, the most hilarious part was when one of the customers made a mess, and then another immediately comes in and says the shop is dirty :P
@n-feofentov Thanks, I think that's a good idea, making it explode early when it hits an enemy.
@dusho New weapons always spawn on-screen, but I guess when you're running around it's easy to run away from them. I think @pixelydian's suggestion of zooming out a bit would help with that.
@for-science Yes they do, but not enough, and yeah there really needs to be some visual feedback for the timer, and probably a sound too.
@m0dsat @bobfish Big booms are in testing :)
bigboom.gif
@kohcepba Hmm, sounds like something must have broken, it shouldn't be hard to find the guns, they spawn in the spots indicated by the green circles, which should always appear on-screen.
Fun little game, I didn't notice the signs until the last level, so I had to play through it again to read them all :D
Such a fun and polished game, with a simple and cute art style. Really nice!
Amazing concept for a jam game, it was fun seeing all the weird ways the AI interpreted my scribbles :P
Here are the best and worst ones I got :)
AIGalleryPainting-2022-10-05_15-50-10.png AIGalleryPainting-2022-10-05_15-45-55.png
Fun game, although it feels like I'm missing out on the 4D shapes because of focusing on playing.
Amazing game! Every bit of this game was polished, and it was fun all the way to the end.
Amazing game! The best I've played so far!
Such a nice game, everything is polished, and the ambiance is relaxing and perfect for a game like this.
My only complaint is that the levels feel too big, and moving around them was tiring for my fingers. Perhaps making the movement more smooth and continuous would improve that.
Amazing game though, I can't believe it only has 12 ratings!
Funny game :D I kinda cheated by walking on the grass, but I made the delivery :)
Really unique game. I felt like the camera position wasn't optimal, I think a more top-down view would have been better. Still an enjoyable and interesting game though. Nice work!
Wow, such a satisfying game to play! You really should rate and comment on some games, more people need to play this!
Cool to see another box packing game! The gameplay was fun but I felt like there wasn't any downsides to ignoring the rules, as I was successful by just putting the boxes in however they fitted. Overall a solid game though, nice work!
Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone!
@theartifacts Yeah, I wanted to add a little radio to play different music tracks, but I had to cut it to avoid the time-consuming task of picking the perfect music.
@theartifacts @whycardboard @svenerik Yes, a live score counter should have been in the game, it's one of the first things I'm going to work on for the post-jam version (and a leaderboard).
@theartifacts @kinart The clock indicates when the game will end, which is when the big hand goes around the clock once. Perhaps I should have made it more obvious...
@hanadulcet Yeah, I should have made it 3 minutes instead of 5, but I'm just gonna blame it on the time crunch not allowing for any playtesting
@danmerey Agreed. Initially I had planned on calculating the "wasted space" in the truck, and integrating that into the score somehow, but unfortunately I had to abandon that to get it done.
@alpacalypse The score reveal was a happy little accident, I liked it so I left it in, nice to hear you liked it too :) Adding stickers and logos is a great idea, definitely something for the post-jam version.
@zombiebust3r You just described exactly what I had planned to do! I ended up not doing it that way to save time, because the physics seemed good enough for the job. I definitely want to do it properly for the post-jam version though.
@shaunyeap Hehe, now I kinda want to add that to the game :D
Awesome pizza-puzzle™ game! All the trademarked™ stuff was so funny, and the pizza-jingle™ when you win is the cherry on top! Nice work!
Really nice game! A few more sound effects would have added a lot, but besides that it's a really well put together game. Nice job!
This is crazy! A game that runs in Paint?! Amazing work, top marks for innovation!
Awesome game! Really juicy effects and satisfying gameplay. Quite well balanced too.
One of the top games in this jam! All the different mechanics was a bit confusing at first, but I got the hang of it and had a lot of fun, I even got on the leaderboard :D
Such a nice game! Cute, simple, and well executed. Everyone should play this.
Cool game! I made a game about packing boxes too, but yours is better (especially the graphics) :D
Wow, this game is so simple, yet so hard! The game looks and plays great, and the few puzzles I managed to complete were really well made.
Awesome little game, the music fit the gameplay very well! It got quite challenging as the factory filled up, but it was very fun to play!
Nice game, the story was really well thought out. I liked how even if you picked the annoying and rude people it still ended well.
Really nice game, the graphics are amazing! I'm not sure if digestion is supposed to be random or has a set time, but sometimes it seemed like it took ages for things to digest, so it would be nice to have some kind of fading or dissolving animation to indicate what is getting digested.
@gabreu Thanks, your game looks nice, I'll make sure to play it!
@mathstr0fficial Thanks, there are always a set of ominos provided to perfectly complete each level, but the rest of them are randomized, so it's possible some colors won't appear. As for the music, I decided against adding music because it's a puzzle game, and I personally find music distracting when you're trying to solve a puzzle. I might still add something though.
@jebouin Yes, I intentionally made the last level extra hard, but there is a solution :)
@navenka Yeah I had noticed that it lag sometimes, but I want able to figure out the cause before the deadline. I've since found the cause (shader compilation for the particles) and fixed it. Hopefully it should work for you now :)
@meep @nardandas Yes, I'm thinking of replacing the current win celebration with something more subtle, and instead using that for when you get a perfect solution. I'll probably also add something to the level select to indicate it, like a star maybe.
@nardandas Yeah, the randomized ominos don't always make sense for the constraints, I definitely need to fix that.
@enad96 You might actually get to do that, I'm thinking of making this into a full game, probably a mobile game :)
@navenka Great to hear it works now, and that you enjoyed it!
@jvdwijk I don't know why I didn't think of that, the ominos totally need to wiggle!
@renrok Yes, they are partially randomized; there is always a solution guaranteed, but there's usually many other possible solutions.
@notinatal I'm currently trying to figure out level generation, so there can be infinite levels, and if I can get that working I'm definitely going to add a speedrun/highscore mode ;)
@f1krazy There is actually a perfect solution for every level, but it's pretty tough to figure them out, nicely done!
@okshirl Yeah, I noticed that issue too, I'm still deciding whether to add an outline to the ominos, or make them highlight when you hover over them, or both. Maybe I'll just remove the "At least X ominos" rule, the "No more than X empty spaces" rule is better anyway.
@ditam Yep, rotating is definitely a awkward thing for mobile, a button could be an option; or maybe a double tap or swipe would be better, so you only need one hand :)
@schadocalex @decentsauce @daveco I didn't think of the possibility of no ominos of the specific color spawning, making that rule redundant. I might just get rid of that rule, even when there are ominos in the specific color it's kinda boring, because it's just reducing the number of ominos you have to choose from.
@n-feofentov The levels were actually "hand made", but made too look random, by making some of the ominos randomized, and randomizing the spawn positions. There are perfect solutions for every level, as you can see here:
solutions.png
I fitted and I sitted! A great simple game, and fun too :)
This is cool! I really like how you combined polyomino puzzles with a logistics game. It would be great to be able to see what planets each ship needs to go to, remembering all the cargo in each ship is really hard! :D
Fun game, I feel like it would be better if you had to "catch" the passengers, so you could position them better.
Crazy unique game! I was a bit confused at first that I had to use my mouse to adjust the function, but once I figure that out it wasn't too hard to complete the puzzles :)
Wow this is so much harder than that other block game! Awesome game though, and fun too, even though I was terrible at it :D
Great game, the difficulty really increases quickly, possible too quickly, but that doesn't hurt the fun :)
Cool game, surprisingly fun for how simple it is.
Great sokoban game, some really clever puzzles too; it was satisfying to finally figure out the solution for the last level after going round and round in circles :D
Cool to see another take on the customer serving idea! Very polished game, the gameplay felt very smooth. I laughed when one of the customers died because I didn't take their payment XD
Cute little game! I really like the wiggle animations and the summon mechanic, but the gameplay was a bit confusing. On my first run it felt like I was just wandering around collecting flowers and summoning things without any goal, and even once I figured out the gameplay I still didn't feel like there was any real strategy behind my moves.
Really nice polished game! I really liked the twist on the sokoban-style gameplay, and the art and sounds were on point too. On my first run I got really lucky with the first few pentagram spawns, but then one spawned in the spot where I'd been pushing all the boxes! :D
The best game I've played this LD, there's just nothing else to say, it's just awesome!
Fun game. Very short, but very polished! There seemed to be a bug with the points though, where any number of points would only ever let me spawn one imp before dropping to zero or one (even or odd number of points).
Fun game, nice art style. I made the delivery just in time! :D
Capture.PNG
This was nice, a mix of an emotional story and some nice pixel art. If I could change one thing, it would be to reduce the clicking on the resources, even make them one-click. I would have also like to do more exploring to find the resources, walking around feels better than clicking repeatedly.
Sometimes even short games can be great, this is one of those.
This is so good! It might not have the most amazing or fun gameplay, but everything about it just works. From the the art style to the sounds and the music, it all fits together perfectly into a complete game.
The game keeps crashing with the same error for me :/ I hope you can fix it because I really want to play this! ``` Error
src/lib/calc.lua:15: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'n' (a nil value)

I'm on Windows 10, using a Logitech F310 controller. It crashes just after the player character stands up, without even pressing any input.
Wow, just wow! This is beautiful, challenging, unique and fun. The only negative is that it ends too soon.
Cool looking game, I really like the art style; close up it looks very rough and messy, but somehow it looks really good as a whole. It's a pity the sounds didn't make the cut, they would have added a lot to the experience.
The gameplay isn't great, but there's still enough there to make it interesting, and the music and pixel art is really nice! The lighting effect was a nice touch too, it really added to the mysterious vibe.
@rincs Thanks for playing, I have changed the end screen to require a space press to continue now :)
@thoastbot Yeah the interaction range isn't perfect, I tried to make it work as best as I could with a single collider, but it could be a lot better with separate colliders for collision and interaction.
@historymaker118 It's not really a bug, just a result of taking shortcuts making the game. Same goes for the balancing, it ended up being much more random than I wanted it to be.
@cameronpenner Thanks, yes I did change the end screen. I realized the "summons" score was pointless because it's almost the same every run, and I needed to make room to add the "press space" text.
@jin9310 Thanks, I agree the floor doesn't look great, perhaps I should have gone with a wood floor and white tables instead of tiles and wooden tables :D
@wouter52 Yeah, that seems to be a common point of confusion, the menus really do look more like plates, and there's nothing in-game to indicate otherwise. I might need to redo the pixel art.
Awesome game! Super simple idea, but really well executed and surprisingly difficult.
Not the most amazing gameplay, but it looks amazing, and the imp sounds were hilarious!
Wow the juice! Even though the gameplay was fairly simple, it just felt so good to play! One thing that was a bit frustrating was the weapon switching, sometimes I got stuck with the same weapon for an entire level, maybe you could change to always give you a different weapon.
Very unique and interesting game, not too exciting, and the controls were not great, but it kept me playing to the end.
Wow, this is amazing! Everything is so polished and it feels so good to play! It gave me the same feeling as playing Celeste for the first time, and left me wanting so much more! This needs to be made into a full game so I can buy it.
Great game, the pixel art looks great, but the gameplay and controls have room to be improved. I think it would have been better if blocks used a TileMap instead of physics, because when the errors build up and the blocks get off-grid it makes the game almost unplayable.
This is great! So fun and derpy, and easy to understand. The art and the sound effects are simple but work great for a game like this. I want to play more!
Tough game once it gets going, but really fun! I kept messing up the spiral glyphs, but I managed to get a decent score :)

Berg!!! Such a silly and fun puzzle game! I got stuck on level 4 for a while until I realized there were different sized bergs.
Cool game with an interesting mechanic. The 1-bit pixel art looked great, and the extra details like the crane added a nice bit of polish. The only thing I would change is to make space the only input, it feels awkward having to click the restart button with the mouse.
Really nice game, simple but well executed. Could do with a little bit more game juice, like some particle effects or animations, but the design is solid. I also really like the pixel art, even though it was not all the same size :)
