Cool game! I liked your simplistic art style.

@awerar Thank you ! :)

Really nice!

Cool Mechanincs

I liked the fact that you can choose your path, it makes the game feel big in content. I struggled with some platforms but I guess I'm not good at platformers. Sometimes the physic seemed to glitch, I could stick to some walls for instance. Maybe tweaking the friction settings would help.

@owlycode Thank you for your comment. I have added an extra collider for the sides of the player with 0 friction and it was working 90% of the time but I didn’t have time to fix it completely. I’m gonna look further into it when I have the time. Thank you very much :smiley:

Beautiful and simple. My kind of game! With some work on the physics and some audio this would make a really nice game! Well done!

nice graphics, and gameplay

Cool game! Nice simplistic artstyle. Gameplay felt very responsive and fluid. Really good level design too! Would have loved to play more levels. (Assuming the green platform with hearts was the end). Great work :thumbsup:

teo989 2019-05-06 08:42

@gideon Thank you! Yeah that was the end. I ran out of time so I couldn’t make an end screen or another level. I am planning to make those things when I have more time. I really appreciate your comment :smiley:

Fun to play, though simple. For a game that focuses a lot on moving platforms, I felt like the moving platforms could have been improved a little. I did like the cubes in the background and the camera movement though.

teo989 2019-05-08 18:12

@mashupgames Thank you for your nice comment! I have tried many things with the platforms but I just couldn't fix the player to them - Both are using a rigidbody because when I tried to move the platform just by using it's transform, the movement was really jittery. If you know how to fix the problem than let me know! And thank you again :smile: :v:

Cool game, I really like what you did with the background and the cubes :) I'm always fond of simplistic graphics. Nice job.

@quasar47 Thank you! :smile:

Major downs already pointed out by others, and you know about those anyway - totally understanding that not everything may fit in the compo scope to polish till the end. Otherwise pretty nice how to squeeze original atmosphere with very minimal graphical objects. Neon glow always work on me.

Fun and challenging game, maybe a bit too hard for an LD game. You had a good amount of variation in the challenges you gave the player, more than most LD games. The physics could have been tuned slightly better, in a game that requires so good timing and accuracy you'd want your controls to be very sharp. It was still pretty good though. The art was simple, but the background was really cool. I'd really recommend adding at least a couple sound effects as well, even if they are very simple they add a lot.

teo989 2019-05-20 11:22

@avon I have a bit of a problem with balancing the difficulty because I learn to play the game while playtesting and then it seams easy. I wanted to add sound effects and music and UI but I ran out of time before I could do so. Thank you very much for those recommendations :smile: :thumbsup:
