Quite relaxing and very cute, not really challenging in any way but the aesthetic and mood was nice.

Quite relaxing and very cute, not really challenging in any way but the aesthetic and mood was nice.
This is surprisingly polished. Good art, the music is nice, and the gameplay is solid. Very well done. I'm not quick enough to properly manage the bomb / star placements but I had fun regardless.
I love this. Was a bit overwhelming at first when you're going through the rules but once it all clicks it's a very neat puzzle, and the reactive feedback of the game elements feel very nice. A solid idea with an impressive amount of polish.
Honestly one of the best submissions I've played, and it being playable on nes makes it all the more impressive. Such a clever idea that I'm surprised I haven't seen it done before. The art is also really nice - good use of the nes palette.
Tons of polish for a jam game, the art and music is well done, and a pretty fun gameplay loop. Nice twist on a classic game. I managed to kill the wizard but ended up dying to a slime in the same level rip
Quite a relaxing game, even after your city becomes a tough to navigate maze. Really enjoy the aesthetic and the music.
Despite the short length, it plays well and the art is nice. I wouldn't mind seeing this expanded upon.
This is a lot of fun. I love factory games and having to build a factory that isn't a spaghetti mess while on a timer is a tough challenge.
Cool atmosphere / mood. Tough game and the indirect control of your "weapon" takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty fun. The creature designs were also very neat.
Very intense game. Being forced to split your attention between the the lasers and where the creature is at is a pretty neat idea.
Very cute art, the logo especially is really well done. Game is fairly simple but it's polished and plays well. A bit easy, could have used a couple more obstacles, but still fun nonetheless.
cool puzzle game. I like the mood that the colors and shaders give it. Only complaint is that the slime is very slow - I think it should move at like 2x or even 3x the speed it does now.
Very relaxing game, the music and art style fit very well together. Not too difficult - I managed to complete it pretty quick, two levels I struggled most with were the first star windmill level and the one with the flower platform. Though overall it was a pleasant experience. Controls not matching camera perspective was a bit weird at the start but I adapted pretty quick.
Fun game and good use of the theme. An interesting take on the sokoban style of puzzle navigation. I would have liked to see more mechanics and levels though, it ends just as it starts getting puzzley! Small bit of criticism: the sound effects are really hard on the ears. I had to mute the tab.
Lovely art. Gameplay was a bit confusing but I think I got the hang of it in the end. There's a lot of text and different characters so it's a bit overwhelming at the start but I can see there's a good bit of depth here.
Pretty fun game, well polished, and surprisingly relaxing for a game about running over zombies. The upgrades were cool and the art and music are well done. Only criticism is that it's way too easy... seems like there's almost no risk at all. Not a huge detractor imo, but it did make the durability and gun upgrades feel not as impactful as they could be.
Very clever mechanic and I love the minimalist aesthetic + the room generation visual. It's neat how the spatial recognition aspect comes into play organically from how fast you're placing tiles in later levels.
my top score was 2078
Neat game, I just wish it had a few more buttons and things to build. Once you have a good setup all that's left is waiting for something to get destroyed... could use some extra paths of progression.
Very fun, and cool mechanic of punishing poor aim. Gets real hectic later on and makes you want to blast wildly... (this quickly led to my death). The visual effects are impressive - simple art that works well, very consistent, and the sound effects are pretty cool. Also pretty neat that there's 2 different characters to choose from. Solid game.
Cool art, and well done with the sound effects. It even has voice acting! Only criticism I have is that the "welcome to hell" overlapped way too often, and the intro showing off the level was a bit longer than it needed to be.
I like the idea of choosing how much cargo to take with you, but it didn't seem like there was any actual downside to just grabbing everything. The movement felt good and I would have liked to see it utilized in more interesting ways. Maze navigation isn't super exciting imo.
It's loud, bright, and hot. Truly hellish vibes. A good concept but needs more enemy variety, and your bullets are so fast I wasn't even sure if I was firing at first.
Cute game. Charging up the confetti attack and destroying the flying heads is pretty satisfying, and the design of the big creature chasing you is really cool. The map is a bit too big imo, I think you're given too much opportunity to give the creatures a wide berth when collecting the food early on, and the pacing would maybe be a bit better with less distance to travel.
this was pretty neat, a unique concept and the showdown at the end was a cool surprise. I would have liked to see more types of castles for an added layer of strategy to defeating the guy. I couldn't quite figure out when exactly the snow would collapse so I just dug one or two from each space and that gave me more than enough castles to defeat him easily. the art was especially charming.
Impressive amount of work done on the art, and I like the two-layer puzzle of figuring out what you need and then figuring out how to fit it in. Only criticism is that the first layer of the puzzle was too obvious most of the time. I would have liked to see more deduction and less spelling out what you need. Very solid game though!
I really like these sorts of spatial puzzle games. As others mentioned the weird grid snapping offset made things a bit difficult but I was able to work past that and made it through the levels okay. Good work for a first gamejam!
Very hectic. I wasn't entirely sure if I was actually fixing anything, I kept being told I don't have the required resources (and it didn't seem like I could hold enough to fix what needed fixing?) but in the end I won anyway. Good concept, and the art is pretty well done.
Very nice art and simple concept that plays smoothly. Folding / combining things to save on space is a cool idea.
Very cool visuals and music. Pretty fun too but man is it insanely tough, before you know it it's going way too fast to even see what's coming at you.
This is surprisingly intricate for a jam game. Minor bit of a learning curve but once you figure out what each rock gives you and each machine does it can be pretty addictive. Figuring out the right balance of what machines you need and which rocks to dig is a tough puzzle to solve.
What an incredible experience. I only wish there was more to it. I need to know what happens after!
Very frantic. I like it. Gave it a go with a roommate... I didn't stand a chance.
The art is very charming. A solid game, I loved seeing all the different weapons. Definitely reminds me of Super Crate Box a bit.
I'm definitely not skilled enough to reach the end but still pretty fun. I love that there's different paths and seeing the entire level on one screen is very neat. I like watching everything moving around and the minimalist art style really adds to the effect.
Very cute and fun concept, but got repetitive very fast. Music was decent enough. The sprites were okay, but how well everything meshed together really made the game look nice.
Very cool game, my main complaint was that the boundary space was a bit too narrow - more than once I would click out of the window by accident. Art was nothing too special but it worked well and was pleasant enough to look at. I also felt that some powerups were placed a bit too close to spikes, made it feel like cheap damage... but maybe that's just me being bad.
My favorite game so far - innovative idea that was executed perfectly. There's enough content to keep everything interesting, the environments all felt unique, the boss fight was superb, I liked looping around to be able to grab all the things I missed. The art was great and the audio complemented the art. I truly can't think of anything negative to say about the game aside from the boss lazer sometimes going through the pillars causing me to take damage. A complete game that exceeds my expectations for a jam.
Fun concept but the gameplay felt very clunky and unintuitive. Solid idea, execution just wasn't as good as it could have been. Cute art. Had things felt more smooth I would really enjoy this as an online game. Overall an okay game.
Good concept, but the art is bland and there's no visual feedback to anything. It doesn't feel fun or rewarding to play. It's not immediately obvious what you're supposed to do or what causes you to lose.
Not too good at rhythm games so I struggled to even get past the first level, but it was a decent game. Audio was alright, the art could be better and was mostly carried by its palette, gameplay was decent and if I enjoyed rhythm games I'm sure I would have enjoyed this one.
Resetting kind of hampered the experience a bit, but the story was nice and the puzzle mechanics were neat. The game ended before I could really see things unfold unfortunately. All it needs is an undo button and more content, I'd enjoy seeing this developed and expanded further beyond the scope of a jam game.
The car controls are terrible, and the platforming controls aren't much better... the two genres aren't very well integrated. Not really much gameplay here. Very unappealing to look at. Could use some serious work before it's something I would want to play longer than 30 seconds.
Very suspenseful and atmospheric, more so than I would ever expect from a truck game. The music was excellent and really ramped up further in. The art wasn't amazing but didn't detract from the mood, nor did it really add anything to the experience. The concept is unique and the two genres complemented each other well. The lack of objective didn't bother me as I don't think it really needed one - you're on a straight road with one direction to go in, forward.
Love the idea, it was clever and executed very well, only complaint is that it felt very slow. Paddle movement was slow, ball speed was slow, walking speed was slow, I think the entire game could benefit from like a 25% speed increase. The art is good and it felt very polished for a jam game.
Cute game and neat mechanic. I think it could use a bit more variety however, each level felt like the same thing as the last. Not really much else to say about it beyond that - it's fun but very simplistic.
Didn't like needing to switch from keyboard to mouse to be able to type, but the mechanics were neat. Could use more variation in commands.
Cool idea, some of the puzzles were neat and well thought out, as someone else mentioned Baby is You is what immediately came to mind when I played. Art was bad (mixed pixel sizes are the biggest offender here). Audio was just ok, the music was forgettable but serviceable and didn't get annoying. Icon swapping got a bit tedious when trying to jump and move, I think a "jump forward" would have been a bit better than having to swap between "jump" and "forward".
Love the art and audio, but the gameplay felt lacking. The pinball itself was very bare-bones and the gardening was lacking in things to do. No matter what you choose to buy you'll always wind up with less money, making nothing seem like a worthwhile investment. I wanted to like the game because the concept was really cool but it just didn't feel worth replaying after the second loss.
Could definitely use some more direction rather than dropping the player and and just spawning enemies. I never felt like I was winning but the game was easy enough that I never felt like I was losing either. The sprites are bland and the ui was cluttered and confusing.
There's not really much here, you came up with an idea and implemented the core mechanic, but didn't do anything with it. The art is not pleasant to look at, far too much gray.
The style worked well and I like the concept, but the slow pace and high spawn rate of enemies made it harder to enjoy. Attacks seemed to randomly stop affecting enemies and red rocket didn't seem to do anything at all. Good voice acting though 👍
The sprites are nice but the gameplay I found rather dull. I liked being able to build a path to redirect where the enemies move, but that forces you to only purchase the smaller turrets. The clicker mechanic was not fun at all. It felt tacked on; it wasn't utilized and expanded on in the enjoyable way that traditional clicker games usually are.
Really difficult, I feel a tutorial boss before the first would be helpful for getting used to jetpacking around, but otherwise an excellent game. The controls were smooth. The 4-color palette is utilized very well and the music was top notch.
