Great take on marble madness. I love the art style!
@plutonium-powered thank you very much.
Fun game. I like the concept and how it fits in with the theme of using a limited space to create many unique challenges. I also like the art style and colour palette. My only feedback would maybe be to align the camera with the movement controls as it felt quite odd to move not relative to the camera angle with Up pushing you diagonally instead of forward.
There is a spirit of Super Monkey Ball in this room - and I like it!
I think the game would have been slightly better if you stayed away from levels that require jumps. They just did not feel as good as the movement in general. All levels that did not require jumping were standouts for me.
While you did not make the music, I still want to praise the music selection. I think the sets the mood perfectly for this game. If it was any more hectic, it very well may be that I would have given up earlier. This is a cool contrast to Super Monkey Ball that has more upbeat and higher tempo tunes. As a side note, the people talking behind the music track kinda broke the immersion but this was just a small nitpick.
But overall, I solid entry!
Controls from this perspective were tough, but eventually I made it through! I like your color scheme and this jazzy music a lot.
I really liked it! Nice music, interesting mechanic)
I was initially thrown off buy the perspective and W not going the direction I was expecting, but it ended up being a fun little challenge!
Super cute, love the colour choices! A nice fun challenge!
@nash I think there is an art to choosing music. The artist, Feslian, has such a huge selection, and a great license structure, so I love using his music. I didn't hear the talking though, so I'll have to go listen to that again. (and yep, I'm inspired by Monkey Balls).
@checkyourgages @dmvch @duckwings thanks for playing. I'm glad you stuck out the weird perspective to get a feel for it.
Controller are weird. Nice balance ball game, but too difficult QwQ
Cute and chill. Wish it had more.
The atmosphere is great. Visuals and music get along together very well. Took a while to get used to the rotated controls. Also, the windmill level was quite hard, had to try it quite a few times. Luckily, the chill ambient saved it for me. I think I would have preferred levels with a more complicated and narrow pathing, instead of the moving parts. So they require more sensitivity and less timing. Which would also fit the mood better, I think? Still, good foundation, I enjoyed playing through it.
@foreyes @koboldskeep Thank you for playing.
@cobaltjt I thought about the more complex paths, too, but in that small space it just becomes a jump unless I figure out how to make the player stay on the ground. But I can see what you mean about the spinny bits.
Nice Game! Enjoyed using the phyiscs to float over the flowers :D
The fact I was upset when I completed the game tells you a lot about how good this game is. The music, the art style and just the absolutely peaceful vibe it gives off I need more!
The controls took a bit of getting used to due to the perspective of the camera but after getting used to it I was flying and loving it, amazing entry!
Interesting realization of the theme! Good game!)
@morris The flowers were really fun to make too :)
@mccustard thank you! Being upset it's over is the best compliment.
@bassilij thank you for playing.
I don't like that type of game, but I love the graphx and the music together. The colors fits to this realy chill game. I would recomend that, for people who like this genre.
Fun little game! Although the controls didn't match the perspective the movement was still intuitive somehow. I really like the color palette and the music, it's so soothing. I also like how the initial island changes a bit with each respawn, it's such a tiny detail but it helps keep the visuals from going stale. I also want to praise the level with the two pointy bridges - I had to use the marble's shadow to see where they intersect so I can hop down safely. Great job!
Nice and relaxing, the graphics and jazz music really gave a nice feel to the game, found it pretty enjoyable and an interesting take on the theme.
@oznarox Thank you for trying anyway. I'm glad you liked the vibe.
@vary the two point bridge is the one I get stuck on all the time, too.
@ex3d0 thank you!
Very relaxing game, the music and art style fit very well together. Not too difficult - I managed to complete it pretty quick, two levels I struggled most with were the first star windmill level and the one with the flower platform. Though overall it was a pleasant experience. Controls not matching camera perspective was a bit weird at the start but I adapted pretty quick.
Just needed aligned controls and I think it would have been good. Cool game otherwise
Quite fun and very nice aesthetics. I would say the game is a bit too easy to cheat on by simply spamming forward and getting lucky on many levels, there isn't any incentive to beat a level with care. But it's still quite fun and relaxing. Well done!
So chill! Really enjoyed the art style and the platforming
This is so nostalgic, I spent soooo much of my childhood playing marble games. This is a really neat interpretation of the theme and the art is super cute! !0/10 immaculate vibes
Fun little game with minimalistic art-style. I'm loving it , so chill and fun at the same time. Marbles are OP
Thank you to everyone who played. I'm glad you enjoyed the game, and liked the vibe.
Fun game but so painful to play with an AZERTY keyboard. I would have liked to enjoy it differently because I like the concept!
Fun to play, the principal is nice and the art style works well. Sends out chill vibes. All in all a good project.
@tayteus good point, I should probably add arrow keys or something, too.
@agraffs Thanks for playing, glad you enjoy the vibe :)
Awesome! Glad i managed to get to the end. I loved that the camera was static, it made the game stand out in my mind :D The climbing was very forgiving, which is good
@blue-pin-studio thanks for playing. I think the static camara gave it just a little bit extra challenge, and another limiting factor. Glad you noticed 😊
A truly pleasant game to play. The music is incredibly relaxing— I absolutely love it! The gameplay is simple, yet challenging enough to keep me hooked all the way through.
Is there a SoundCloud link for the background music in the game? I'd really appreciate it!
Nice!!Nice!!
@nicename the artists website is on the title screen. All of his music is available for use in any project, free unless you make money on the project, and he has TONS of amazing tracts on there. I don't know if he has a sound cloud. I can look up the exact tract and give you a name tonight though if you like.
I really liked the mood of this game, very chill! Some of the levels seemed very difficult at first but somehow I managed to complete all of them.
I truly appreciate the art style and the mood it creates in this game. The level design is clever, particularly those that involve navigating through rows of flower pads, which felt meditative. The perspective and direction control proved challenging to grasp initially, but they gradually made sense as I leveled up. It was quite surprising to pass the flower wheel just as I was about to give up, so I do hope there might be some form of hint or guidance for players who have been stuck at a level for a long period. Nevertheless, great job overall!
@pipima ya, the flower windmill is one I had trouble getting the hang of too. I had to adjust the balls friction a lot just so that the ball would go up that slope. A skip button would be nice.
Solid entry with nice visuals. Felt like the movement direction wasn't aligned with the camera, but other than that the gameplay was solid. The play button in the title screen could have been larger as it was a bit hard to spot. Good work overall.
Good game. But you should do something with controller.
Really cool plateformer. Hard to control with the 45° angle mapping, but it's ok for a jam game!
