LD54 — Limited Space

Calamari Odyssey by Samuli 2023-10-04T06:10:48Z

I liked how you were incentivized to keep killing enemies fast with the constantly ticking timer on the top of the screen and the theming of a savage monster really complimented the manic soundtrack, repulsive sound design and bright, high contrast visuals. Controls felt pretty responsive and nice aside from dodging which because of the flipping felt really disorienting.

One Word Letter by lukbebalduke 2023-10-03T07:47:14Z

This was a really fun game. The art and atmosphere are really nice and I like how you indicate there are multiple endings and keep track of them for the player.

Tetradom by vfqd 2023-10-02T02:00:29Z

The city building felt solid and very polished. The upgrading system was very fun to chose what to upgrade and strategize about what to pick.

I felt that the big enemies did too much damage because when the warriors bunched up to try and kill them they all died in one shot.

Your HDD has Limited Space by snesgaard 2023-10-01T23:58:48Z

Cute game. Really enjoyed it. Was maybe slightly too easy but the controls and design were really intuitive and easy to pick up.

Cubicular Discerner by Foursay 2023-10-04T06:47:47Z

I loved the visual style and how you used it to create interesting puzzles. The puzzles were also a nice challenge and I liked how you really had to read through the logs to understand what to do.

Though I Walk by AdamCYounis 2023-10-02T06:18:12Z

Very unique concept with changing the parallax for platforming. Nice work

Mind the Gap by LelulaGames 2023-10-02T10:56:32Z

Fun game. I like the concept and how it fits in with the theme of using a limited space to create many unique challenges. I also like the art style and colour palette. My only feedback would maybe be to align the camera with the movement controls as it felt quite odd to move not relative to the camera angle with Up pushing you diagonally instead of forward.

Don't Melt by Chrishie 2023-10-02T02:07:53Z

Really fun little game. Level design was very good and fun to play. Only minor improvement I would consider would be using your unique concept of shrinking to fit into gaps more in the levels. Good job!

Space Limiter Warp Drive by 2TheGameChanger 2023-10-02T01:02:48Z

I got 230,000 points. I really liked this game. There was a good amount of variety with the different patterns of circles and finding the best spot to collect as many points as possible was a very unique challenge.

My only feedback was that some screens were a lot shorter than others because they gave more circles than another. To improve this you could maybe make circles give you different points on different screens so that they all last a similar amount of time. This could help the flow because you move through the screens at a more steady pace instead of getting stuck on a screen for 3 minutes and spend 20 seconds on another.

Lifeless Landscaper by BrimTheGoat 2023-10-01T23:24:57Z

Nice game, very relaxing and quite impressive for a first game in Godot! If you wanted to improve the game, maybe you could add a timer so that players can replay the game for a better time.

Fruit Fitting Frenzy! by Gwen Dekker 2023-10-01T23:38:09Z

Simple and really addictive to try to get the next batch of fruits. Difficulty was really high though and I got stuck at the end. Overall I really enjoyed your game. Nice work
