That was pretty fun, I cleared the whole field, was hoping for some kind of victory screen but it was nice and cathartic to just mow a graveyard

It played well and the graphics are better than your description suggests. Simulation games are not for me, so I couldn't really get behind the lack of a game loop.
Nice game, very relaxing and quite impressive for a first game in Godot! If you wanted to improve the game, maybe you could add a timer so that players can replay the game for a better time.
I mowed the grass! Great theme idea, and kudos for the well themed music. :) I was trying to be methodical but the grasping ghouls encouraged me to go off my pattern and draw things playfully in the grass instead. Congrats on your first Godot game (this jam was mine too).
Mowing each square of grass smoothly is so satisfying. I really like the pixel art graphics, especially the detailed animation of the ghost's hand. The eerie BGM is also a nice touch.
- Nothing happened after mowing all the grass, which was a bit disappointing. - The ghoul hands were quite annoying popping up in front of the player, and the only way to deal with them was to wait for them to disappear. I think it would be good to allow the player to make a decision, like showing the ghoul intended square faster so they have time to plan a different route, or have the ghouls walk between graves. - It's a bit weird you could pick up the mower and put it down, but there was no reason to do it then to initially get the mower.
Nice and easy to understand, only needed to look at instructions to see if I missed something when after mowing everything nothing happened. Needing to reroute a bit(and to try to leave room for doings so) from hands appearing was nice.
Nice first attempt with Godot!
