I've reached to a point where I don't think I'll ever loose 😄 I really like Leechers as they are crucial to the game The health goes over 10. So if you collect to many souls you will spend them and not see the meter go down. Not that it matters but just saying lol
Ohhhhhh, I see. Pretty clever idea. I'm digging it. Need more time after work to try to complete it, but once it clicked on me the mechanic I think this will be really fun!

haha the intro & sub intro are so worth it. The voice over is great too as well as the take on the theme.
I played with a touchpad but the boss was too much and couldn't kill him. When I'm back at my pc I'll try it again with the mouse.
Also: it works on linux via wine! previously your games wheren't compatible with that, but now it works. So thats awesome.

Wow, In my opinion this is your best game for LD's so far. What a good story|music|gameplay combo. Hat's off for this one sir! Got the ending 2/3. Tried to get out of fullscreen to take a screenshot but I hit esc and that quitted the game xD.
PD: The level where all the rooks come at you without mercy was really funny

I don't think the controls work quite right for me. The hit is mapped to the mouse click, then jump to spacebar and movement with arrow keys. The alt, ctrl and other keys don't seem to work :\

haha the story is great! The art is amazing, I whish I could be able to jump from under the platforms, but I got better once I started using my right hand for the jump and my left hand just for movement xD.

The graphics are amazing! And the gameplay fun, although some things happen and I'm not sure if I have control of them or not, and when you respawn sometimes you just don't have a close by platform to land on. Although the double jump definitively helps. Other than that, the visuals and sfx are awesome!

Nice game! The story is well written, it got me hooked. I think I missed something or there's something broken regarding state. I threw myself to the volcano and it said the gods where angry. I replayed it and the geyser wouldn't work anymore. Threw myself to the volcano and got the "good" ending this time, then the screen went again to the "the gods are angry" view. Anyways, pretty cool pico8 game, congrats!

Hey man! Finally got to my win machine to try it out. It didn't disappoint! The font looks awesome as well as the running animation. I grabbed my keyboard as a guitar and started killing unicorns like crazy. I like your style of making the player search for things first and then go to the rest of the gameplay.

I didn't have any problems beating the game, the idea is pretty funny and it's well executed. I don't think I got the farming part, the only thing you do is separate cows, isn't it? or is there something else?
I see the cows pooping but that doesn't seem to affect anything

I like the game, had fun playing it, although it requires a lot of playing for searching safe spots to the enemy waves. Nice touch on letting us skip levels, I've learn from this jam that if your game is frustrating you're gonna have a bad time on the ratings :P

wow, awesome game man, congrats! I'd have never come up with something like this. Really cool concept. I've played it a couple of times and I feel like I'm unable to succeed. Like as if I need to be able to put more obstacles in each way as opposed to just one or something like that.

Pretty cool game! I like the idea and graphics but it seems that something is missing. I mean, I beat the guy and then the game restarts without indicating victory or something like that and a few SFX would have been great

I like that the jump height corresponds with the button press time. The enemy variety and the controls are great too.
Also the music, when you die, the phrase is in the same key as the rest of the music. Seems trivial but many devs don't do that.
Every time you have enemies on both sides reminds me of ninja turtles on gameboy :P

I'm with @mrspeaker on this one, I can't even run it on wine (linux) gives me a GameMaker Studio 2 error :(
Really cool game man! I was surprised to see that it was done with libgdx and deployed to html5, guess I forgot libgdx can do that, so now I'm trying to port all my jam games to html5 :D

I like the music, and the gloomy graphics.
It feels like the collision detection with the bullets is a little permissive, like if I can tell that the bullet didn't hit but It count's as a hit. Not that it matters though.
Title screen reminds me of zombies ate my neighbors

I couldn't get to the unicorns, how they spawn? But the trees where dying on me too fast, maybe I couldn't get the plants hydrated enough?

I really like this type of games and the balancing is really hard to do (for me) but here it feels right and also spot on take on the theme!

Very cool style, the guitar music is awesome! the looping was a little weird but I'm not sure if it was on my machine or not. Either way very impressive, I would have taken 48hs just to make the soundtrack like that!

Hey! really cool graphics and mechanic. It took me very little time to get familiar with the controls, and the detail of explicitly indicating that you need to eat due to critical energy level was really useful.
